1In-situ sulfur isotope and trace element of pyrite constraints on the formation and evolution of the Nibao Carlin-type gold deposit in SW China显示文摘The fault-controlled Nibao Carlin-type gold deposit,together with the strata-bound Shuiyindong deposit,comprise a significant amount of the disseminated gold deposits in southwestern Guizhou Province,China.Five main types and two sub-types of pyrite at the Nibao deposit(Py1a/Py1b,Py2,Py3,Py4,Py5)were distinguished based on detailed mineralogical work.Py1,Py2and Py3 are Au-poor,whereas Py4 and Py5 are Au-rich,corresponding to a sedimentary and hydrothermal origin,respectively.Through systematic in situ analyses of NanoSIMS sulfur isotopes,the framboid pyrite Py1a with negative δ^34S values(-53.3 to-14.9%)from the Nibao deposit were found to originate from bacterial sulfate reduction(BSR)processes in an open and sulfate-sufficient condition while the superheavy pyrite Py1b(73.7–114.8%)is probably due to the potential influence of closed-system Rayleigh fractionation or the lack of preservation of deepsea sediments.Data of Py2 and Py3 plot within the area of S isotope compositions from biogenic and abiogenic sulfate reduction.In view of few coeval magmatic rocks in the mining district,the near zero δ^34S values of the Au-rich pyrites(Py4 and Py5)may discount the potential involvement of magmatic but metamorphic or sedimentary origin.LA-ICP-MS and TEM work show that Au in ore-related pyrite is present as both nanoparticles and structurally bound.LA-ICP-MS analyses show that the Au-rich pyrite also contains higher As,Cu,Sb,Tl and S than other types of pyrite,which inferred a distal manifestation of deep hydrothermal mineralization systems.Jinxiang Li Chenghai Zhao Yong Huang Yuzhou Zhuo Jinwei Li 2019Acta Geochimica2019,38,4:7
2Identification of three major Bemisia tabaci biotypes in China based on morphological and DNA polymorphisms显示文摘The sweet potato whitefly, Bemisia tabaci, is a complex species, and many of its biotypes are important agricultural pests. The B and Q biotypes are invasive and coexist with the native Cv biotype on vegetable and ornamental crops in China. In this study, these three bio- types were identified based on their morphological characteristics, RAPD-PCR analysis, and DNA sequences of the COI gene. The ante-rior and posterior wax fringes of the B, Q, and Cv biotypes significantly differed from each other. Based on this morphological characteristic, the three biotypes can easily be distinguished in greenhouses and fields. Genomic DNA RAPD-PCR band patterns also revealed differences between these biotypes using the H16 primer. The B biotype has three bright DNA bands between 250 and 600 bp, the Q biotype only has one bright band at 300 bp, while the Cv biotype has no band between 250 and 500 bp. Both the Cv and Q biotypes have two bright bands at 750 and 1000 bp while the B biotype has only one band at 1000 bp. Based on the COI gene, the genetic identity between B and Cv, B and Q, and Q and CV was 85.8%, 94.7%, and 86.0%, respectively. The MP tree indicated that the phylogenetic relationship between the B and Q biotypes is much closer than that between the B and Cv or the Q and Cv biotypes. 3Traffic Characteristics Based Dynamic Radio Resource Management in Heterogeneous Wireless Networks显示文摘The traffic with tidal phenomenon in Heterogeneous Wireless Networks(HWNs)has radically increased the complexity of radio resource management and its performance analysis.In this paper,a Simplified Dynamic Hierarchy Resource Management(SDHRM)algorithm exploiting the resources dynamically and intelligently is proposed with the consideration of tidal traffic.In network-level resource allocation,the proposed algorithm first adopts wavelet neural network to forecast the traffic of each sub-area and then allocates the resources to those sub-areas to maximise the network utility.In connection-level network selection,based on the above resource allocation and the pre-defined QoS requirement,three typical network selection policies are provided to assign traffic flow to the most appropriate network.Furthermore,based on multidimensional Markov model,we analyse the performance of SDHRM in HWNs with heavy tailed traffic.Numerical results show that our theoretical values coincide with the simulation results and the SDHRM can improve the resource utilization.WEN Juan SHENG Min ZHANG Yan WANG Xijun LI Yuzhou 2014China Communications2014,11,1:4
4Polymer coated nanodiamonds as gemcitabine prodrug with enzymatic sensitivity for pancreatic cancer treatment显示文摘The fabrication of Gemcitabine(GEM) prodrug was reported to be an effective method to enhance its pancreatic cancer treatment efficiency. Here, a kind of nanocarbon-based materials, nanodiamond(ND), was selected as the nanocarrier of GEM, owing to its outstanding surface properties and non-cytotoxicity. The polyelectrolytes,polyethyleneimine and polyacrylic acid, were used to self-assemble outside ND surface through electrostatic forces, followed by attachment of polyethylene glycol to address better biocompatibility. GEM was conjugated with an enzyme-sensitive peptide gly-phe-leu-gly to build up the controlled release platform. From characterization results of dynamic laser scattering, zeta potential and transmission electron microscope, the significant improvement of ND stability in physiological condition was proved. Non-cytotoxicity of this functionalized ND carriers and cytotoxicity of the prodrug against Bx PC-3 pancreatic cancer cells were indicated by methylthiazolyl tetrazolium(MTT) assay. In vivo experiments also revealed its superior anticancer effect compared with free GEM treatment. 5Predictive value of MGMT promoter methylation on the survival of TMZ treated IDH-mutant glioblastoma显示文摘Objective:O6 methylguanine-DNA methyltransferase(MGMT)promoter methylation is a biomarker widely used to predict the sensitivity of IDH-wildtype glioblastoma to temozolomide therapy.Given that the IDH status has critical effects on the survival and epigenetic features of glioblastoma,we aimed to assess the role of MGMT promoter methylation in IDH-mutant glioblastoma.Methods:This study included 187 IDH-mutant glioblastomas and used 173 IDH-wildtype glioblastomas for comparison.KaplanMeier curves and multivariate Cox regression were used to study the predictive effects.Results:Compared with IDH-wildtype glioblastomas,IDH-mutant glioblastomas showed significantly higher(P<0.0001)MGMT promoter methylation.We demonstrated that MGMT promoter methylation status,as determined by a high cutoff value(≥30%)in pyrosequencing,could be used to significantly stratify the survival of 50 IDH-mutant glioblastomas receiving temozolomide therapy(cohort A);this result was validated in another cohort of 25 IDH-mutant glioblastomas(cohort B).The median progression-free survival and median overall survival in cohort A were 9.33 and 13.76 months for unmethylated cases,and 18.37 and 41.61 months for methylated cases,and in cohort B were 6.97 and 9.10 months for unmethylated cases,and 23.40 and 26.40 months for methylated cases.In addition,we confirmed that the MGMT promoter methylation was significantly(P=0.0001)correlated with longer OS in IDH-mutant patients with GBM,independently of age,gender distribution,tumor type(primary or recurrent/secondary),and the extent of resection.Conclusions:MGMT promoter methylation has predictive value in IDH-mutant glioblastoma,but its cutoff value should be higher than that for IDH-wildtype glioblastoma.Ruichao Chai Guanzhang Li Yuqing Liu Kenan Zhang Zheng Zhao Fan Wu Yuzhou Chang Bo Pang Jingjun Li Yangfang Li Tao Jiang Yongzhi Wang 2021Cancer Biology & Medicine2021,18,1:2
6Relationship between corneal biomechanical parameters and corneal sublayer thickness measured by Corvis ST and UHR-OCT in keratoconus and normal eyes显示文摘Background:To explore the relationship between corneal biomechanical parameters and corneal sublayer thickness using corneal visualization Scheimpflug technology(Corvis ST)and ultrahigh-resolution optical coherence tomography(UHR-OCT)in clinical and suspected keratoconus and normal eyes.Methods:Cross-sectional prospective study.A total of 94 eyes of 70 participants were recruited.Twenty five eyes of 19 keratoconus patients,52 eyes of 34 patients showing high risk of developing keratoconus according to the Belin/Ambrosio Enhanced Ectasia Display,and each eye of 17 normal subjects were enrolled.All participants underwent Corvis ST,Pentacam,and UHR-OCT examinations at the same time.Stiffness parameter A1(SP-A1),deformation amplitude ratio(DA ratio),and other biomechanical parameters were recorded using Corvis ST.The vertical and horizontal thickness profiles of central 3mm corneal epithelium,Bowman’s layer,and stroma as measured by the perpendicular distance between the neighboring interfaces were generated using UHR-OCT.The flat keratometry and steep keratometry were obtained using Pentacam.Analysis of correlation was applied to explore the association between variables.Results:Most of the biomechanical parameters and corneal sublayer thickness profiles showed statistical differences among three groups.A statistically significant linear relationship was noted between SP-A1 and DA ratio in all three groups.SP-A1 was found to be positively correlated with epithelial and Bowman’s layer thickness in the keratoconus(KC)group,and with stromal thickness in all three groups.In the normal and suspected keratoconus(SKC)groups,only stromal thickness was included in the stepwise linear regression to predict SP-A1,whereas in the KC group,steep keratometry and Bowman’s layer thickness were included.Conclusions:Significant and different correlations were noted between corneal stiffness and corneal sublayer thickness in different groups,indicating that corneal sublayers may play different roles in maintaining corneal biomechanical stability between keratoconus and normal eyes.Yong Li Zhiqiang Xu Qiaoli Liu Yuzhou Wang Kan Lin Jiahui Xia Shihao Chen Liang Hu 2021Eye and Vision2021,8,1:2
7Fluid properties and sources of Sixiangchang carbonate-associated mercury deposit, southwest China显示文摘Mercury mines in Guizhou province are the main base of mercury production and the most important resource base in China.The San-Dan mercury belt in Guizhou province contains a series of important mercury deposits.However,the source of metallogenic materials and the properties of metallogenic fluid of these mercury deposits have long been a controversial issue.In this study,we used cathode luminescence techniques to distinguish different stages of dolomite and calcite,laser ablation inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry to analyze the trace elements,and stable isotope mass spectrometry techniques to analyze C-O isotopes compositions of dolomite and calcite in the Sixiangchang mercury deposit in San-Dan mercury belt.We also measured the sulfur isotope composition of cinnabar.Our study showed that dolomite can be divided into two stages,the lumpy dolomite associated with cinnabar in Dol 1 stage and dolomite vein in Dol 2 stage,which is associated with Cal 2 stage calcite vein.With the progress of mineralization,A1,As,Mo,Sb,and Sr elements were gradually enriched in the ore-forming fluid.The rare earth element(REE)partition curve of Dol 1 stage dolomite showed a trend of light REE enrichment.Cal 2 stage calcite and Dol 2 stage dolomite exhibited a flat-type REE partition curve,and Dol 2 stage dolomite showed a strong negative anomaly for Eu.δ^13C of carbonate mineral variation ranges from-6.89 to-2.16‰,whileδ^18O variation ranges from 13.80 to 23.09‰,and theδ34S variation range of cinnabar is 16.51-24.28‰.Carbonate mineral trace elements and C-O isotopes compositions suggested that early ore-forming fluid was reduced,and late ore-forming fluid was oxidized.The oreforming fluid of the Sixiangchang mercury deposit is a mixture of deep crustal fluid and meteoric water in deep thermal circulation,and involved in the oxidation of organic matter.The cinnabarδ^34S results showed that sulfur mainly came from seawater sulfate with the participation of microbial reduction.Sulfur is sedimentary in origin and was derived mainly from the host-rock strata.Yuzhou Zhuo Yong Huang Jinwei Li Wei Gao Jinxiang Li 2019Acta Geochimica2019,38,5:2
8Research and development of a novel subunit vaccine for the currently circulating pseudorabies virus variant in China显示文摘Pseudorabies(PR)is a devastating viral disease which leads to fatal encephalitis and respiratory disorders in pigs.Commercial gE-deleted live pseudorabies virus(PRV)vaccine has been widely used to control this disease in China.However,the new-emerging variants of PRV compromises the protection provided by current vaccines and lead to the outbreak of PR in vaccinated pig herds.Several killed and live vaccine candidates based on current PRV variants have been reported to be effective to control the disease.A subunit vaccine based on gB protein,one major PRV glycoprotein which elicits strong humoral and cellular immune responses,however,was never evaluated for protection against the current circulating PRV variants.In this study,full-length PRV gB protein was successfully expressed in baculovirus/insect cells in the soluble format and was tested on 3-week-old piglets as a subunit vaccine.Compared with unvaccinated pigs,the gB-vaccinated pigs developed specific antibody-mediated responses and were protected from the virulent PRV HN1201 challenge.All vaccinated pigs survived without showing any PRV-specific respiratory and neurological signs,but all unvaccinated pigs died within 7 days after HN1201 challenge.Hence,this novel gB-based vaccine could be applied as an effective subunit vaccine to control PRV variant in China.Yuzhou WANG Tongyan WANG He YAN Fanli YANG Linghua GUO Qingyuan YANG Xule HU Feifei TAN Yan XIAO Xiangdong LI Kegong TIAN 2015Frontiers of Agricultural Science and Engineering2015,2,3:2

10Electrochemical detection of methyl-paraoxon based on bifunctional cerium oxide nanozyme with catalytic activity and signal amplification effect显示文摘A new electrochemical sensor for organophosphate pesticide(methyl-paraoxon)detection based on bifunctional cerium oxide(CeO_(2))nanozyme is here reported for the first time.Methyl-paraoxon was degraded into p-nitrophenol by using CeO_(2) with phosphatase mimicking activity.The CeO_(2) nanozymemodified electrode was then synthesized to detect p-nitrophenol.Cyclic voltammetry was applied to investigate the electrochemical behavior of the modified electrode,which indicates that the signal enhancement effect may attribute to the coating of CeO_(2) nanozyme.The current research also studied and discussed the main parameters affecting the analytical signal,including accumulation potential,accumulation time,and pH.Under the optimum conditions,the present method provided a wider linear range from 0.1 to 100 mmol/L for methyl-paraoxon with a detection limit of 0.06 mmol/L.To validate the proof of concept,the electrochemical sensor was then successfully applied for the determination of methyl-paraoxon in three herb samples,i.e.,Coix lacryma-jobi,Adenophora stricta and Semen nelumbinis.Our findings may provide new insights into the application of bifunctional nanozyme in electrochemical detection of organophosphorus pesticide.Yuzhou Sun Jinchao Wei Jian Zou Zehua Cheng Zhongming Huang Liqiang Gu Zhangfeng Zhong Shengliang Li Yitao Wang Peng Li 2021Journal of Pharmaceutical Analysis2021,11,5:1

12Transcriptome analysis of wheat grain using RNA-Seq显示文摘With the increase in consumer demand,wheat grain quality improvement has become a focus in China and worldwide.Transcriptome analysis is a powerful approach to research grain traits and elucidate their genetic regulation.In this study,two cDNA libraries from the developing grain and leaf-stem components of bread wheat cultivar,Nongda211,were sequenced using Roche/454 technology.There were 1061274 and 1516564 clean reads generated from grain and leaf-stem,respectively.A total of 61393 high-quality unigenes were obtained with an average length of 1456 bp after de novo assembly.The analysis of the 61393 unigenes involved in the biological processes of the grain showed that there were 7355 differentially expressed genes upregulated in the grain library.Gene ontology enrichment and the Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes pathway enrichment analysis showed that many transcription products and transcription factors associated with carbohydrate and protein metabolism were abundantly expressed in the grain.These results contribute to excavate genes associated with wheat quality and further study how they interact.Liu WEI Zhihui WU Yufeng ZHANG Dandan GUO Yuzhou XU Weixia CHEN Haiying ZHOU Mingshan YOU Baoyun LI 2014Frontiers of Agricultural Science and Engineering2014,1,3:1

17Directional design and synthesis of high-yield hollow Fe-MFI zeolite encapsulating ultra-small Fe_(2)O_(3) nanoparticles by using mother liquid显示文摘How to directionally design the hollow zeolite via a green route is of great significance. Here, we successfully synthesized the hollow Fe-silicate-1 encapsulated ultra-small Fe_(2)O_(3) nanoparticles (2.5 nm) with higher yield (85.2%) by mother liquid than traditional dissolution-recrystallization for the first time, which was achieved by precisely regulating the number and distribution of defects in zeolite and cleverly utilizing the TPAOH and nuclei in mother liquor. The effects of synthetic temperature, synthetic period and addition amount of parent zeolite on the formation of hollow zeolite have been investigated and the effect of synthetic conditions on the defects in parent zeolite has been also firstly quantified. The corresponding formation mechanism has been proposed. The abundant inner defects provided by the zeolite synthesized at 130 °C for 1 day and large amount of TPAOH remaining in mother liquid are conducive to the formation of hollow zeolite. Meanwhile, both parent zeolite and nuclei (4-, 5-member rings and structure units) in mother liquid obtained at 130 °C play the crucial roles in enhancing the zeolite yield. Notably, Fe_(2)O_(3) nanoparticles could decompose into small fragments by the interaction with nuclei in mother liquid. Partial ultra-small Fe_(2)O_(3) nanoparticles would be encapsulated in cavity and the rest could be inserted in the zeolite framework, which is significantly different from the conventional dissolution-recrystallization mechanism. 18Programmed albumin nanoparticles regulate immunosuppressive pivot to potentiate checkpoint blockade cancer immunotherapy显示文摘The therapeutic efficacy of programmed cell death protein 1/programmed cell death-ligand 1(PD-1/PD-L1)blockade immunotherapy is extremely dampened by complex immunosuppressive mechanisms including regulatory T cells(Treg),M2 macrophages(M2),and prostaglandin E2(PGE2).The pivotal roles of PGE2 have been recognized by directly inactivating CD8+T cells and indirectly inducing Treg and M2.Therefore,PGE2 abolishment through inactivating cyclooxygenase-2(COX-2)could be robust to sensitize tumour toward anti-PD-1/PD-L1 immunotherapy,which has gone into clinical trials.However,exploring this promising strategy in nanomedicine to enhance immunotherapy remains unrevealed.The key challenge to synergistically combine COX-2 inhibition and anti-PD-1/PD-L1 lies in the different pharmacokinetic profiles and the spatial obstacles since PD-1/PD-L1 interaction occurs extracellularly and COX-2 locates intracellularly.Thus,the programmed release nanoparticles(termed as Cele-BMS-NPs)are rationally designed,which are composed of pH-sensitive human serum albumin derivative,BMS-202 compound as PD-1/PD-L1 inhibitor,glutathione(GSH)-activatable prodrug of celecoxib(COX-2 inhibitor).The in vitro experiments demonstrate that this smart Cele-BMS-NPs could extracellularly release BMS-202 under the acidic tumour microenvironment,and the intracellularly release of celecoxib in response to the elevated GSH concentration inside tumour cells.After systemic administration,the intratumoral infiltration of CD8+T cells is significantly enhanced and meanwhile immunosuppressive M2,Treg,and PGE2 are reduced,thereby eliciting the anti-tumour immune responses toward low immunogenic tumours and postsurgical tumour recurrences.Liandong Feng Li Yang Longjie Li Junying Xiao Nana Bie Chao Xu Jun Zhou Hongmei Liu Lu Gan Yuzhou Wu 2022Nano Research2022,15,1:1

20pH and lipase-responsive nanocarrier-mediated dual drug delivery system to treat periodontitis in diabetic rats显示文摘Precise and controlled drug delivery to treat periodontitis in patients with diabetes remains a significant clinical challenge.Nanoparticle-based drug delivery systems offer a potential therapeutic strategy;however,the low loading efficiency,non-responsiveness,and single effect of conventional nanoparticles hinder their clinical application.In this study,we designed a novel self-assembled,dual responsive,and dual drug-loading nanocarrier system,which comprised two parts:the hydrophobic lipid core formed by 1,2-Distearoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphoethanolamine-Poly(ethylene glycol)(DSPE-PEG)loaded with alpha-lipoic acid(ALA);and a hydrophilic shell comprising a poly(amidoamine)dendrimer(PAMAM)that electrostatically adsorbed minocycline hydrochloride(Mino).This unique design allows the controlled release of antioxidant/ALA under lipase stimulation from periodontal pathogens and antimicrobial/Mino under the low pH of the inflammatory microenvironment.In vivo and in vitro studies confirmed that this dual nanocarrier could inhibit the formation of subgingival microbial colonies while promoting osteogenic differentiation of cells under diabetic pathological conditions,and ameliorated periodontal bone resorption.This effective and versatile drug-delivery strategy has good potential applications to inhibit diabetes-associated periodontal bone loss.Lu Wang Yuzhou Li Mingxing Ren Xu Wang Lingjie Li Fengyi Liu Yiqing Lan Sheng Yang Jinlin Song 2022Bioactive Materials2022,7,12:1
