| 1 | Depth of tumor invasion and tumor-occupied portions of stomach are predictive factors of intra-abdominal metastasis显示文摘Objective:Diagnostic laparoscopy is recommended for the pretherapeutic staging of gastric cancer to detect any unexpected or unconfirmed intra-abdominal metastasis.The aim of this study was to evaluate the role and indications of diagnostic laparoscopy in the detection of intra-abdominal metastasis.Methods:Standard diagnostic laparoscopy with peritoneal cytology examination was performed prospectively on patients who were clinically diagnosed with primary local advanced gastric cancer(c T≥2M0).We calculated the rate of intra-abdominal metastases identified by diagnostic laparoscopy,and examined the relationship between peritoneal dissemination(P)and cytology results(CY).Split-sample method was applied to find clinical risk factors for intra-abdominal metastasis.Multivariate logistic regression analysis and receiver-operator characteristic(ROC)analysis were performed in training set to find out risk factors of intra-abdominal metastasis,and then validate it in testing set.Results:Out of 249 c M0 patients,51(20.5%)patients with intra-abdominal metastasis were identified by diagnostic laparoscopy,including 20(8.0%)P1CY1,17(6.8%)P0CY1 and 14(5.6%)P1CY0 patients.In the training set,multivariate logistic regression analysis and ROC analysis showed that the depth of tumor invasion on computer tomography(CT)scan≥21 mm and tumor-occupied≥2 portions of stomach are predictive factors of metastasis.In the testing set,when diagnostic laparoscopy was performed on patients who had one or two of these risk factors,the sensitivity and positive predictive value for detecting intra-abdominal metastasis were 90.0%and32.1%,respectively.Conclusions:According to our results,depth of tumor invasion and tumor-occupied portions of stomach are predictive factors of intra-abdominal metastasis. | Ziyu Li Zhemin Li Shuqin Jia Zhaode Bu Lianhai Zhang Xiaojiang Wu Shuangxi Li Fei Shan Xin Ji Jiafu Ji | 2017 | Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2017,29,2: | 14 |
| 2 | Study on method and mechanism for simultaneous desulfurization and denitrification of flue gas based on the TiO_2 photocatalysis显示文摘Based on the TiO2 photocatalysis mechanism, a new method of simultaneous desulfurization and denitrification from flue gas was proposed. Preparation of TiO2 photocatalyst, design of photocatalysis reactor and influencing factors for simul- taneous removal of SO2 and NO, and removal mechanism of SO2 and NO were studied. After the optimal values of concentration of O2 in flue gas, the relative humidity of flue gas and the irradiation time in the photocatalysis reactor were used, the efficiencies of removal for SO2 and NO can be achieved above 98% and about 67%, respectively. | 3 | Fusion of machine vision technology and AlexNet-CNNs deep learning network for the detection of postharvest apple pesticide residues显示文摘Pesticide residue is an important factor that affects food safety.In order to achieve effective detection of pesticide residues in apples,a machine-vision-based segmentation algorithm and hyperspectral techniques were used to segment the foreground and background regions of the apple image.By calculating the roundness value and extracting the region with the highest roundness value in the connected region,a region of interest(ROI)maskwas created for the apple.Four pesticides(chlorpyrifos,carbendazimand two mixed pesticides)and an inactive control were used at the same concentration of 100 ppm(except for the control group),and the hyperspectral region of the corresponding sample image was extracted by obtaining the different types of pesticide residues in the ROI masks.To increase the diversity of the samples and to expand the dataset,Gaussianwhite noise with a varying signal-to-noise ratio was added to each of the hyperspectral images of the apple.The number of samples was increased from four types of 12 samples to four types of 72 samples,giving 4608 hyperspectral data images in each category.The structure and parameters of a convolutional neural network(CNN)were determined using theoretical analysis and experimental verification.All the extracted hyperspectral images of apples were normalized to 227×227×3 pixels as the input of the CNN network for pesticide residue detection.There were 18,432 sample data of four types for 72 samples.Of these,12,288 images were selected using a bootstrap sampling method as the training set,and 6144 as the test set,with no overlap.The test results showthatwhen the number of training epochswas 10,the accuracy of the test set detectionwas 99.09%,and the detection accuracy of the single-band average imagewas 95.35%.A comparison with traditional k-nearest neighbor(KNN)and support vectormachine classification algorithms showed that the detection accuracy for KNNwas 43.75%and the average time was 0.7645 s.These results demonstrate that our method is a small-sample,noncontact,fast,effective and low-cost technique that can provide effective pesticide residue detection in postharvest apples. | Bo Jiang Jinrong He Shuqin Yang Hongfei Fu Tong Li Huaibo Song Dongjian He | 2019 | Artificial Intelligence in Agriculture2019,,1: | 8 |
| 4 | Preparation and activity evaluation of NiMoB/-Al_2O_3 catalyst by liquid-phase furfural hydrogenation显示文摘Amorphous MoNiB/ -Al 2 O 3 alloy catalysts were prepared by reducing NiCl 2 ·6H 2 O and (NH 4 ) 6 Mo 7 O 24 ·4H 2 O supported on -Al 2 O 3 with NaBH 4 as reducing agent. Using liquid-phase hydro-genation of furfural (FFR) as a probe reaction, the activity of MoNiB/ -Al 2 O 3 was examined. Compared to NiB and NiMoB, NiMoB/ -Al 2 O 3 exhibited excellent activity and selectivity towards furfuryl alcohol (FFA). After reaction for 3.0 h at 80 ℃ and 5.0 MPa in methanol, FFR conversion reached 99% with FFA yield of 91%. The effects of doping amount of Mo and calcination temperature before NaBH 4 reduction on hydrogenation activity were also investigated. The optimum Mo/Ni atom ratio and calcination temperature were found to be 1:7 and 300 ℃, respectively. | 5 | Biomarker evidence for changes in terrestrial organic matter input into the Yellow Sea mud area during the Holocene显示文摘We present lipid biomarker records of two cores(ZY1 and ZY3) from the central South Yellow Sea mud area to investigate the changes in sources and transport processes of the sedimentary organic matter(OM) throughout the Holocene. Based on the analysis of marine biomarker content(SPB(Phytoplankton Biomarker, total content of brassicasterol, dinosterol and C_(37)-alkenones) and crenarchaeol), and terrestrial biomarkers(Sn-alkanols and br GDGTs) as well as TMBR′ and BIT index values, the marine organic matter(MOM) and terrestrial organic matter(TOM) deposition history was reconstructed. Changes in TOM and MOM were related to variations in land vegetation density and marine productivity, as well as transport processes dominated by the oceanic circulation system. The marine biomarker contents from the South Yellow Sea have generally increased throughout the Holocene, indicating that the increased MOM contents were mainly controlled by the strengthening of the circulation system. The terrestrial biomarkers, on the other hand, were more variable, indicating more complex influence of TOM burial in the Yellow Sea. During the Early Holocene(7200–6000 cal yr BP), the moderate TOM input revealed by the terrestrial proxy records may result from abundant land source supply by strong river transport despite the lack of transport via circulation system. The Mid-Holocene(6000–3000 cal yr BP) was characterized by decreased terrestrial biomarker contents. The balance between the decrease in land source supply and increase of transportation by the current system of the TOM resulted in the lower but stable contents of TOM. | 6 | Hepatitis B virus X protein enhances hepatocarcinogenesis by depressing the targeting of NUSAP1 mRNA by miR-18b显示文摘Objective: The aim of this study was to investigate the underlying mechanism whereby HBx modulates the targeting of NUSAP1 by miR-18b to enhance hepatocarcinogenesis.Methods: We employed an integrated approach of bioinformatics analysis and molecular experiments in hepatoma cells, HBV transgenic mice, and clinical liver cancer tissues to investigate the role of HBx-regulated miR-18b in the development of liver cancer.Results: In this study, we report that the HBx-mediated tumor suppressor miR-18b modulates hepatocarcinogenesis during the host-HBV interaction. The expression levels of miR-18b were lower in clinical HBV-positive liver cancer tissues and liver tissues of HBV-transgenic mice. Interestingly, HBx inhibited miR-18b expression by inducing the methylation of CpG islands in its promoter. Accordingly, we tested the hypothesis that HBx enhanced hepatocarcinogenesis by increasing the expression of target genes of miR-18b. Moreover, we identified nucleolar spindle-associated protein 1(NUSAP1) as one of the target genes of miR-18b.NUSAP1 was expressed at high levels in liver cancer tissues. Interestingly, HBx up-regulated NUSAP1 by suppressing miR-18b.Functionally, miR-18b significantly inhibited the proliferation of hepatoma cells by depressing NUSAP1 levels in vivo and in vitro.Conclusions: Thus, we conclude that the targeting of NUSAP1 mRNA by the tumor suppressor miR-18b is controlled by HBxmodulated promoter methylation during the host-virus interaction, leading to hepatocarcinogenesis. | 7 | Germline mutations in hereditary diffuse gastric cancer显示文摘Gastric cancer is one of the leading causes of cancer-related deaths worldwide. Among which, about 1%–3% of gastric cancer patients were characterized by inherited gastric cancer predisposition syndromes, knowing as hereditary diffuse gastric cancer(HDGC). Studies reported that CDH1 germline mutations are the main cause of HDGC. With the help of rapid development of genetic testing technologies and data analysis tools, more and more researchers focus on seeking candidate susceptibility genes for hereditary cancer syndromes. In addition, National Comprehensive Cancer Network(NCCN) guidelines recommend that the patients of HDGC carrying CDH1 mutations should undergo prophylactic gastrectomy or routine endoscopic surveillances. Therefore, genetic counseling plays a key role in helping individuals with pathogenic mutations make appropriate risk management plans. Moreover, experienced and professional genetic counselors as well as a systematic multidisciplinary team(MDT) are also required to facilitate the development of genetic counseling and benefit pathogenic mutation carriers who are in need of regular and standardized risk management solutions. In this review, we provided an overview about the germline mutations of several genes identified in HDGC, suggesting that these genes may potentially act as susceptibility genes for this malignant cancer syndrome. | 9 | Plastic Mechanism of Multi-pass Double-roller Clamping Spinning for Arc-shaped Surface Flange显示文摘Compared with the conventional single-roller spinning process,the double-roller clamping spinning(DRCS)process can effectively prevent the sheet metal surface wrinkling and improve the the production efficiency and the shape precision of final spun part.Based on ABAQUS/Explicit nonlinear finite element software,the finite element model of the multi-pass DRCS for the sheet metal is established,and the material model,the contact definition,the mesh generation,the loading trajectory and other key technical problems are solved.The simulations on the multi-pass DRCS of the ordinary Q235A steel cylindrical part with the arc-shaped surface flange are carried out.The effects of number of spinning passes on the production efficiency,the spinning moment,the shape error of the workpiece,and the wall thickness distribution of the final part are obtained.It is indicated definitely that with the increase of the number of spinning passes the geometrical precision of the spun part increases while the production efficiency reduces.Moreover,the variations of the spinning forces and the distributions of the stresses,strains,wall thickness during the multi-pass DRCS process are revealed.It is indicated that during the DRCS process the radical force is the largest,and the whole deformation area shows the tangential tensile strain and the radial compressive strain,while the thickness strain changes along the generatrix directions from the compressive strain on the outer edge of the flange to the tensile strain on the inner edge of the flange.Based on the G-CNC6135 NC lathe,the three-axis linkage computer-controlled experimental device for DRCS which is driven by the AC servo motor is developed.And then using the experimental device,the Q235A cylindrical parts with the arc-shape surface flange are formed by the DRCS.The simulation results of spun parts have good consistency with the experimental results,which verifies the feasibility of DRCS process and the reliability of the finite element model for DRCS. | FAN Shuqin ZHAO Shengdun ZHANG Qi LI Yongyi | 2013 | Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2013,26,6: | 3 |
| 10 | Jurassic-Cretaceous Boundary Strata of the Somanakamura Group in NE Japan and their Correlation with Coeval Terrestrial Deposits in China显示文摘Defining the Jurassic-Cretaceous boundary is a controversy in stratigraphic study of the world. It has been widely accepted that this boundary can be defined at the bottom of Berriasian in Tethys, with the appearance of the ammonite Berriasella jacobi dating to ca. 145 Ma. However, it is difficult for the widespread terrestrial deposits in China to correlate with the international standard of marine facies. The Somanakamura Group in Japan is represented by a succession of marinecontinental transitional strata. It provides a bridge of marine and nonmarine stratigraphic correlation. The ammonite and radiolarian fossils preserved in this group suggest an age from Bajocian to early Valanginian. The J-K boundary was defined in or atop the Tomizawa Formation of the group according to the ammonite data. The present authors study the fossil spores and pollen newly found from the Tomizawa and Koyamada formations. Three assemblages have been recognized. They are Assemblage 1(Cyathidites-Classopollis) from the upper part of the Tomizawa Formation, Assemblage 2(Cyathidites-Jiaohepollis) from the lower part of the Koyamada Formation, and Assemblage 3(Cyathidites-Spheripollenites-Ephedripites) from the middle to upper part of the Koyamada Formation. With the reference of ammonite evidence, the J-K boundary can be defined between Assemblage 1 and Assemblage 2. This palynological J-K boundary can be correlated with that of terrestrial sequence in China. However, local biostratigraphy imply that the continental J-K boundary in China is of 135 or 137 Ma age. It has a considerable discrepancy from the marine standard. Biogeographically, the distribution pattern of spores and pollen in southern China is in accordance with that in the Somanakamura Group, which parallels the Tuchengzi Formation in northeastern China. The results of this study show that when the concentrations of solution are more than 3.72×10-7 mol/L,the amplified spontaneous emis-sion(ASE) of β-carotene is the main factor influencing the threshold and intensity of Stokes lines; when the concentrations of solution are lower than 3.72×10-7 mol/L,the ASE disappears and the fluorescence plays the key role:The high-order Stokes lines may be observed at very low input-laser power,and the Stokes thresholds decrease as the solution concentration increases. | 16 | Lymphangiogenesis contributes to exercise-induced physiological cardiac growth显示文摘Background:Promoting cardiac lymphangiogenesis exerts beneficial effects for the heart.Exercise can induce physiological cardiac growth with cardiomyocyte hypertrophy and increased proliferation markers in cardiomyocytes.However,it remains unclear whether and how lymphangiogenesis contributes to exercise-induced physiological cardiac growth.We aimed to investigate the role and mechanism of lymphangiogenesis in exercise-induced physiological cardiac growth.Methods:Adult C57 BL6/J mice were subjected to 3 weeks of swimming exercise to induce physiological cardiac growth.Oral treatment with vascular endothelial growth factor receptor 3(VEGFR3) inhibitor SAR1 3 1 675 was used to investigate whether cardiac lymphangiogenesis was required for exercise-induced physiological cardiac growth by VEGFR3 activation.Furthermore,human dermal lymphatic endothelial cell(LEC)-conditioned medium was collected to culture isolated neonatal rat cardiomyocytes to determine whether and how LECs could influence cardiomyocyte proliferation and hypertrophy.Results:Swimming exercise induced physiological cardiac growth accompanied by a remarkable increase of cardiac lymphangiogenesis as evidenced by increased density of lymphatic vessel endothelial hyaluronic acid receptor 1-positive lymphatic vessels in the heart and upregulated LYVE-1 and Podoplanin expressions levels.VEGFR3 was upregulated in the exercised heart,while VEGFR3 inhibitor SAR131675 attenuated exercise-induced physiological cardiac growth as evidenced by blunted myocardial hypertrophy and reduced proliferation marker Ki67 in cardiomyocytes,which was correlated with reduced lymphatic vessel density and downregulated LYVE-1 and Podoplanin in the heart upon exercise.Furthermore,LEC-conditioned medium promoted both hypertrophy and proliferation of cardiomyocytes and contained higher levels of insulinlike growth factor-1 and the extracellular protein Reelin,while LEC-conditioned medium from LECs treated with SAR131675 blocked these effects.Functional rescue assays further demonstrated that protein kinase B(AKT) activation,as well as reduced CCAAT enhancer-binding protein beta(C/EBPβ) and increased CBP/p300-interacting transactivators with E(glutamic acid)/D(aspartic acid)-rich-carboxylterminal domain 4(CITED4),contributed to the promotive effect of LEC-conditioned medium on cardiomyocyte hypertrophy and proliferation.Conclusion:Our findings reveal that cardiac lymphangiogenesis is required for exercise-induced physiological cardiac growth by VEGFR3 activation,and they indicate that LEC-conditioned medium promotes both physiological hypertrophy and proliferation of cardiomyocytes through AKT activation and the C/EBPβ-CITED4 axis.These results highlight the essential roles of cardiac lymphangiogenesis in exercise-induced physiological cardiac growth. | Yihua Bei Zhenzhen Huang Xing Feng Lin Li Meng Wei Yujiao Zhu Shuqin Liu Chen Chen Mingming Yin Huimin Jiang Junjie Xiao | 2022 | Journal of Sport and Health Science2022,11,4: | 2 |
| 17 | Efficacy of Combined Administration of 0.2% Brimonidine and 0.5% Betaxolol in Treatment of Primary Open Angle Glaucoma and Ocular Hypertension显示文摘Purpose:To observe the efficacy of combined use of brimonidine and betaxolol in treatment of primary open angle glaucoma(POAG)and ocular hypertension.Methods:A total of 54 patients(90 eyes)with POAG and ocular hypertension were randomly divided into three groups(receiving betaxolol,.brimonidine and combined administration of betaxolol and brimonidine respectively).The administration was given twice daily in all groups(0.5%betaxolol,0.2%brimonidine and 0.5%betaxolol combined with 0.2%brimonidine).The changes in intraocular pressure(IOP)were observed before,and 2,4,6,and 8 weeks after treatment.In addition,the adverse reactions were also recorded post-treatment.Results:.The mean IOPs at all the time points after treatment were significantly reduced compared with pre-treatment levels(P<0.05).Patients receiving brimonidine had a greater reduction in IOP compared with their counterparts in the betaxolol group but the difference was not statistically significant.The IOP decline was significantly higher in the combined therapy group than in the other two groups(P<0.01).Few cases presented with slight discomfort,.such as sensation of foreign bodies,.ocular irritation,.dizziness,.headache,.fatigue,.and dryness of mouth and nose.No severe adverse reactions were noted following administration.Conclusion:Combined use of brimonidine and betaxolol is an efficacious treatment of reducing IOP without severe side effects. | Wei Chi An Li Shuqin Wang Xuefei Zhu | 2013 | Eye Science2013,28,4: | 2 |
