1Modification performance on 4032 Al alloy by using Al–10Sr master alloys manufactured from different processes显示文摘The microstructures and modification performance on 4032 aluminum alloy of the Al–10Sr master alloy wire prepared from 'direct reaction-hot extrusion' and the trapezoidal block from 'direct reaction' were systemically studied by using optical metallurgical microscope, XRD and SEM. It was found that the preparation processes exhibited a significant effect on the microstructures of the Al–10Sr, which thereby influenced its modification performance. It has been found that when the Al–10Sr alloy wire was used, a desirable modification was obtained after 2 min and reached to the best performance at 60 min, and the optimum Sr addition amount was 0.04–0.06 wt%, and the good modification performance was kept even after 300 min. However, when the Al–10Sr alloy trapezoidal block was used, a desirable modification was started after 30 min and reached to the best performance as long as 120 min, and the optimum Sr addition amount was 0.06–0.08 wt%, and the effective modification period was only180 min. Therefore, comparing with the Al–10Sr alloy trapezoidal block, the Al–10Sr alloy wire had better modification efficiency, which not only reduced the Sr addition amount of about 30%, but also greatly decreased the incubation time and improved the ability of anti-fading.Chengwei Liao Jianchun Chen Yunlong Li Huan Chen Chunxu Pan 2014Progress in Natural Science:Materials International2014,24,2:6

6Impact of regio-isomeric monochlorinated end groups on packing mode,miscibility,and photovoltaic performance of asymmetric selenophene-fused M-series acceptors显示文摘Optimal bulk-heterojunction(BHJ)morphology is crucial for efficient charge transport and good photovoltaic performance in organic solar cells(OSCs).Yet,the correlation between chemical structures of nonfullerene acceptors(NFAs)and molecular interaction in the BHJ blends remains opaque.Herein,we study three isomeric NFAs referred to as MQ1-x(x=β,y,or 8)that shared an asymmetric selenophene-fused heteroheptacene backbone end-capped by two monochlorinated end groups.Remarkably,miscibility between the polymer donor of PM6 and MQ1-x successively elevates as the chlorine atoms move fromβ-,to y-,to 8-position of terminals.Combined with the varied molecular crystallinity of these NFAs,diverse BHJ morphologies are observed in their blend films.As a result,the MQ1-8-based devices present the highest PCE of 12.08%owing to the efficient charge dissociation and transport induced by the compact molecular packing and optimal BHJ morphology.Our investigation provides a new insight in the material design that has a good balance in molecular packing and film morphology for high-performance OSCs.Ruochuan Liao Changquan Tang Yunlong Ma Qingdong Zheng 2023Chinese Chemical Letters2023,34,12:0
7Enhancing Photovoltaic Performance of Ladder-Type Heteroarene-Based Electron Acceptors by Modulating Molecular Packing显示文摘Comprehensive Summary,The development of novel building blocks with sp3-hybridized-carbon-free conjugated skeletons is important to further advance and enrich nonfullerene acceptors(NFAs),but this remains a challenge due to the lack of strategies to effectively modulate the aggregation behavior of resulting NFAs.Herein,two novel nitrogen-bridged octacyclic ladder-type heteroarenes end-capped with thiophene rings(BTPS)or selenophene rings(BTPSe)are designed and synthesized as the donor cores for constructing NFAs(MQX-2 and MQX-4).It is found that replacing the sulfur atoms(MQX-2)at the outer positions of the heteroarene core with selenium atoms(MQX-4)can effectively modulate the molecular packing mode of the NFAs.The incorporation of selenium atoms induces stronger O···Se noncovalent interaction than O···S,thus promoting the formation of mixed H/J-type aggregates in MQX-4.Benefiting from more electron hopping channels,MQX-4 exhibits higher electron transport(more than 1-fold enhancement)and photovoltaic properties compared to MQX-2,which forms only H-type aggregates.Hongxin Tao Changquan Tang Yunlong Ma Shu-Quan Zhang Ruochuan Liao Qisheng Tu Qingdong Zheng 2023Chinese Journal of Chemistry2023,41,17:0
8Quality evaluation of lightweight cellular concrete by an ultrasound-based method显示文摘The accuracy of subgrade quality evaluation is important for road safety assessment.Since there is little research work devoted to testing lightweight cellular concrete(LCC)by an ultrasound-based method,the quantitative relation between ultrasonic testing results and the quality of LCC subgrade is not well understood.In this paper,the quality of LCC subgrade was evaluated with respect to compressive strength and crack discrimination.The relation between ultrasonic testing results and LCC quality was explored through indoor tests.Based on the quantitative relation between ultrasonic pulse velocity and compressive strength of LCC,a fitting formula was established.Moreover,after the LCC became cracked,the ultrasonic pulse velocity and ultrasonic pulse amplitude decreased.After determining the lower limiting values of the ultrasonic pulse velocity and ultrasonic pulse amplitude through the statistical data,it could be calculated whether there were cracks in LCC subgrade.The ultrasonic testing results showed that the compressive strength of the LCC subgrade was suitable for purpose and there was no crack in the subgrade.Then core samples were taken from the subgrade.Comparisons between ultrasonic testing results of subgrade and test results of core samples demonstrated a good agreement.Xin LIU Dongning SUN Jinhe LIAO Zhiwei SHAO Yunqiang SHI Siqing ZHANG Yunlong YAO Baoning HONG 2022Frontiers of Structural and Civil Engineering2022,16,9:0
