3Unsourced Multiple Access for 6G Massive Machine Type Communications显示文摘Unsourced multiple access(UMA)is a multi-access technology for massive,low-power,uncoordinated,and unsourced Machine Type Communication(MTC)networks.It ensures transmission reliability under the premise of high energy efficiency.Based on the analysis of the 6G MTC key performance indicators(KPIs)and scenario characteristics,this paper summarizes its requirements for radio access networks.Following this,the existing multiple access models are analyzed under these standards to determine UMA's advantages for 6G MTC according to its design characteristics.The critical technology of UMA is the design of its multiple-access coding scheme.Therefore,the existing UMA coding schemes from different coding paradigms are further summarized and compared.In particular,this paper comprehensively considers the energy efficiency and computational complexity of these schemes,studies the changes of the above two indexes with the increase of access scale,and considers the trade-off between the two.It is revealed by the above analysis that some guiding rules of UMA coding design.Finally,the open problems and potentials in this field are given for future research.Yuanjie Li Jincheng Dai Zhongwei Si Kai Niu Chao Dong Jiaru Lin Sen Wang Yifei Yuan 2022China Communications2022,19,3:2

6Convergence analysis and performance optimization of parallel concatenated systematic polar code显示文摘Similar to the analysis of Turbo codes,the parallel concatenated systematic polar code( PCSPC) can also be analyzed by the extrinsic information transfer( EXIT) chart. The convergence of the iterative decoding based on soft cancellation( SCAN) and belief propagation( BP) of PCSPC are analyzed by the EXIT chart. 7One-bit compressed sensing recovery algorithm robust to perturbation显示文摘One-bit compressed sensing( CS) technology reconstructs the sparse signal when the available measurements are reduced to only their sign-bit. It is well known that CS reconstruction should know the measurement matrix exactly to obtain a correct result. However,the measurement matrix is probably perturbed in many practical scenarios. An iterative algorithm called perturbed binary iterative hard thresholding( PBIHT) is proposed to reconstruct the sparse signal from the binary measurements( sign measurements) where the measurement matrix experiences a general perturbation. The proposed algorithm can reconstruct the original data without any prior knowledge about the perturbation. Specifically, using the ideas of the gradient descent, PBIHT iteratively estimates signal and perturbation until the estimation converges. 9Scalable synthesis of lipid nanoparticles for nucleic acid drug delivery using an isometric channel-size enlarging strategy显示文摘Lipid nanoparticles(LNPs)have emerged as highly effective delivery systems for nucleic acid-based therapeutics.However,the broad clinical translation of LNP-based drugs is hampered by the lack of robust and scalable synthesis techniques that can consistently produce formulations from early development to clinical application.In this work,we proposed a method to achieve scalable synthesis of LNPs by scaling inertial microfluidic mixers isometrically in three dimensions.Moreover,a theoretical predictive method,which controls the mixing time to be equal across different chips,is developed to ensure consistent particle size and size distribution of the synthesized LNPs.LNPs loaded with small interfering RNA(siRNA)were synthesized at different flow rates,exhibiting consistent physical properties,including particle size,size distribution and encapsulation efficiency.This work provides a practical approach for scalable synthesis of LNPs consistently,offering the potential to accelerate the transition of nucleic acid drug development into clinical application.Zesen Ma Haiyang Tong Sijin Lin Li Zhou Demeng Sun Baoqing Li Changlin Tian Jiaru Chu 2024Nano Research2024,17,4:0
10Scaling Factor Optimization of Turbo-Polar Iterative Decoding显示文摘In this paper, we investigate the weighted iterative decoding to improve the performance of turbo-polar code. First of all, a minimum weighted mean square error criterion is proposed to optimize the scaling factors(SFs). Secondly, for two typical iterative algorithms,such as soft cancellation(SCAN) and belief propagation(BP) decoding, genie-aided decoders are proposed as the ideal reference of the practical decoding. Guided by this optimization framework, the optimal SFs of SCAN or BP decoders are obtained. 11Melatonin and probiotics ameliorate nanoplastics-induced hematopoietic injury by modulating the gut microbiotametabolism显示文摘Plastic pollution has become a non-negligible global pollution problem.Nanoplastics(NP)can reach the bone marrow with blood circulation and develop hematotoxicity,but potential mechanisms and prevention strategies are lacking.Here,we report the biological distribution of NP particles in the bone marrow of mice and hematopoietic toxicity after exposure to 60μg of 80 nm NP for 42 days.NP exposure inhibited the capability of bone marrow hematopoietic stem cells to renew and differentiate.Notably,probiotics and melatonin supplementation significantly ameliorated NP-induced hematopoietic damage,and the former was superior to the latter.And interestingly,melatonin and probiotic interventions may involve different microbes and metabolites.After melatonin intervention,creatine showed a stronger correlation with NP-induced gut microbiota disorders.In contrast,probiotic intervention reversed the levels of more gut microbes and plasma metabolites.Of these,threonine,malonylcarnitine,and 3-hydroxybutyric acid might be potential performers in the regulation of hematopoietic toxicity by gut microbes,as they had a more significant relationship with the identified microbes.In conclusion,supplementation with melatonin or probiotics may be two candidates to prevent hematopoietic toxicity attributable to NP exposure.Also,the multi-omics results may lay the foundation for future investigations into in-depth mechanisms.Lei Zhang Jiaru Jing Lin Han Ziyan Liu Jingyu Wang Wei Zhang Ai Gao 2023Nano Research2023,16,2:0
12Shenweifang-containing serum inhibits transforming growth factor-β1–induced myofibroblast differentiation in normal rat kidney interstitial fibroblast cells显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To investigate the efficacy of Shenweifang(SWF)-containing serum on transforming growth factor(TGF)-β1–induced fibroblast-myofibroblast transition in normal rat kidney interstitial fibroblast cells(NRK-49 F).METHODS:Sprague-Dawley rats were gavaged with one of five solutions:(a)saline;(b)saline plus low-dose SWF;(c)saline plus medium-dose SWF;(d)saline plus highdose SWF;and(e)saline plus valsartan.NRK-49 F cells were treated with TGF-β1 and cultured using serum from the gavaged rats.RESULTS:TGF-β1 treatment increased the expression ofα-smooth muscle actin,proliferating cell nuclear antigen,collagenⅠ,Smad3,mitogen-activated protein kinase(MAPK)10,and c-Jun N-terminal kinase(JNK)3 and induced abnormalities in cell morphology,cell cycle progression,and cell proliferation.CONCLUSIONS:SWF-or valsartan-containing serum corrected(or partially corrected)TGF-β1–induced abnormal changes in this in vitro system.SWF-containing serum reversed abnormalities in morphology,cell cycle progression,and proliferation in TGF-β1–treated NRK-49F cells,probably by blocking the TGF-β1/Smads and TGF-β1/MAPK/JNK pathways.LIN Jiaru WANG Li CHEN Bo OU Santao QIN Jianhua FAN Junming 2022Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2022,42,1:0
