| 1 | Geochronology of Baogutu porphyry copper deposit in Western Junggar area, Xinjiang of China显示文摘Baogutu copper deposit in Western Junggar area is a mesoscopic porphyry deposit found in recent years. Study on its geochronology will help further understand ore genesis and regional ore-forming pattern. A series of small quartz-diorite and granodiorite stocks outcrop at Baogutu area, numbered I―X according to their size. A detailed exploration on Number V stock confirmed it as a mesoscopic scale copper deposit, and various exploration work has been carried out on other stocks with ore-forming evidence. This paper studies geochronology of Number V stock using zircon SHRIMP U-Pb and single mineral K-Ar method. Twenty-five SHRIMP ages yield two 206Pb/238U weighed mean ages of 335.6 ± 7.8 Ma and 311.4 ± 3.3 Ma respectively. The older date is considered to be inherited zircon from either surrounding rock tuff or deep granitoid batholith, whereas the younger date is the formation age of ore-bearing intrusion. K-Ar ages of ore-forming biotites, 296.0 ± 3.7 Ma and 297.3 ± 3.8 Ma, in combination with Re-Os age of molybdenite, 310 Ma, confirm the ore-forming age of 310-296 Ma. Granophyre and dioritic porphyrite dikes cut Number V stock and their K-Ar ages range from 278 to 240 Ma, which confine the lower boundary of the mineralization. | 2 | Biodegradation of Phthalate Esters by a Newly Isolated Acinetobacter sp. Strain LMB-5 and Characteristics of Its Esterase显示文摘Phthalate esters(PAEs) are extensively applied in industry, and they migrate to environment during the process of production,employ, and treatment and are difficult to be degraded in nature. However, some microorganisms could use them as the carbon source to growth. In this study, an Acinetobacter sp. strain LMB-5, capable of utilizing PAEs, was isolated from a vegetable greenhouse soil.The degradation capability of strain LMB-5 was also investigated by incubation in mineral salt medium containing different PAEs,dimethyl phthalate(DMP), diethyl phthalate(DEP), di-n-butyl phthalate(DBP), and di-(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate(DEHP). The strain could grow well with DMP, DEP, DBP, and DEHP. When the concentration of DBP increased from 100 to 400 mg L^(-1), the half-life extended from 9.5 to 15.5 h. In the concentration range of DBP, the degradation ability of strain LMB-5 could be described by first-order kinetics. During the biodegradation of DBP, three intermediates, 1,2-benzenedicarboxylic acid,butyl methyl ester, DMP,and phthalic acid(PA) were detected, and the proposed pathway of DBP was identified. By analysis of bioinformatics, one esterase was cloned from the genome of LMB-5 and expressed in Escherichia coli. It displayed an ability to break the ester bonds of DBP. The enzyme exhibited maximal activity at pH 7.0 and 40℃ with DBP as the substrate. It was activated by Cu^(2+) and Fe^(3+) and had a high activity in the presence of low concentrations of methanol or dimethylsulfoxide(each 10%, volume:volume). | 3 | Identification of salt-tolerance QTL in rice(Oryza sativa L.)显示文摘Quantitative trait loci (QTLs) controlling salt-tolerance at the seedling stage in rice (Oryza sativa L.) were identified by interval mapping (SIM) and composite interval mapping (CIM) using a doubled haploid population ZJDH and its high resolution genetic linkage map. The population was derived from an inter-subspecific cross between an indica variety Zhaiyeqing8 (ZYQ8) and a japonica variety Jingxi17 (JX17). Analysis of survival days of seedlings treated with 0.7% NaCl revealed that a major salt-tolerance quantitative trait locus (QTL), Std, was present between markers RG612 and C131 on chromosome 1 when using both MAPMAKER/QTL 1.1 and PLABQTL 1.0 (SIM).Its allele which contributes to salt-tolerance was from ZYQ8. | 4 | Geographical Variation and Influencing Factors of Spartina alterniflora Expansion Rate in Coastal China显示文摘Biological invasion poses a huge threat to ecological security.Spartina alterniflora was introduced into China in 1979,and its arrival corresponded with negative effects on native ecosystems.To explore geographical variation of its expansion rate in coastal China,we selected 43 S.alterniflora sites from Tianjin Coastal New Area to Beihai.The area expansion rate,expansion rate paralleling and vertical to the shoreline were analysed based on Landsat images and field survey in 2015.Simple Ocean Data Assimilation(SODA)and climate data were collected to statistically analyse the influential factors of expansion rate.Results showed that significant difference of S.alterniflora area expansion rate among different latitude zones(P<0.01),increasing from 6.08%at southern(21°N–23°N)to 19.87% in Bohai Bay(37°N–39°N)along latitude gradient.There was a significant difference in expansion rate vertical to shoreline in different latitude zones(P<0.01)with the largest occurring in Bohai Bay(256m/yr,37°N–39°N),and showed an decreasing tendency gradually from north to south.No significant difference and latitudinal clines in expansion rate paralleling to shoreline were observed.Expansion rate had significant negative correlation with mean seawater temperature,the lowest seawater temperature,current zonal velocity and meridional velocity and presented a reducing trend as these biotic factors increased;however,they were not significantly correlated with the highest seawater temperature and mean seawater salinity.We identified significant correlations between expansion rate and annual mean temperature,the lowest temperature in January and annual precipitation,but there was little correlation with annual diurnal difference in temperature and the highest temperature in July.The rapid expansion rate in high-latitude China demonstrated a higher risk of potential invasion in the north;dynamic monitoring and control management should be established as soon as possible. | ZHANG Danhua HU Yuanman LIU Miao CHANG Yu SUN Lishuang | 2020 | Chinese Geographical Science2020,30,1: | 4 |
| 5 | Geochronology and Geochemistry of the Tinggong Porphyry Copper Ore Deposit, Tibet显示文摘We have determined the ages of the ore-bearing Tinggong porphyries and the Eocene granites using the LA-ICPMS zircon U-Pb method. Zircons from one adamellite porphyry and two diorite porphyries yield ages of 15.54±0.28 Ma, 15.02±0.25 Ma and 14.74±0.22 Ma, respectively. The ages of two granites are 50.48±0.71 Ma and 50.16±0.48 Ma. Light Rare Earth Elements(LREE) are enriched in the ore-bearing adamellite porphyries, which are high-K calc-alkaline and metaluminous, while Heavy Rare Earth Elements(HREE) and Y are strongly depleted, indicating an adakitic affinity. The Large Ion Lithophile Elements(LILE) of the adamellite porphyries are highly enriched, whereas some High Field Strength Elements(HFSE) are depleted. The diorite porphyry in this study is chemically similar to the adamellite porphyries, except that the Mg# of the diorite porphyry is a little higher, demonstrating more mantle contamination. Four samples from different rocks are selected for in situ zircon Hf isotopic analyses. The samples show positive εHf(t) values and young Hf model ages, indicating their derivation from juvenile crust. However, the adamellite porphyry and diorite porphyry formed in the Miocene exhibit more heterogeneous Hf isotopic ratios, with lower εHf(t) values than the granites formed in the Eocene, suggesting the involvement of old Indian continent crust in their petrogenesis. The geochronology and geochemistry of the adamellite porphyries and the diorite porphyries indicate that they formed from the same source region in a post-collisional environment, but contaminated by crust and mantle materials in different ratios. | 6 | Forest landscape patterns dynamics of Yihe-Luohe river basin显示文摘Based on the information from forest resources distribution maps of Luoning County of 1983 and 1999, six indices were used to analyze spatial patterns and dynamics of forest landscapes of the typical region in the middle of the Yihe-Luohe river basin. These indices include patch number, mean patch area, fragment index, patch extension index, etc. The results showed that: (1) There was a rapid increase in the number of patch and total area from 1983 to 1999 in the study area. The fragment degree became very high. (2) The area of all the forest patch types had witnessed great changes. The fractal degree of each forest patch type became big from 1983 to 1999. The mean extension index of Robinia pseudoacacia forest, non-forest, shrub forest, sparse forest, and Quercus species forest increased rapidly, but that of economic forest became zero. The fractal dimension each showed that forest coverage has been promoted. (3) The changes of landscape patterns were different in different geomorphic regions. From 1983 to 1999 the vegetation cover area, the gross number and the density of patch, diversity and evenness of landscape were all reduced greatly in gullies and ravines, but the maximum area and the mean area of patch types were increased. In hilly region, both the forest cover area and the number of patch increased from 1983 to 1999, but the mean area of patch was reduced greatly. In mountain region, even though the area under forest canopy reduced from 1983 to 1999, the patch number was increased greatly, the mean area of all patch types was reduced, the extension index, diversity index and evenness index of landscape were all increased. Furthermore, because of different types of land use, human activity and terrain, the vegetation changes on northern and southern mountain slopes were different. | 7 | Oxidative degradation of phenol by sulfidated zero valent iron under aerobic conditions:The effect of oxalate and tripolyphosphate ligands显示文摘After adding either organic or inorganic ligands,sulfidated nano-zero-valent iron(Sn ZVI)was used for aerobic degradation of phenol,and the effect of the ligand species on oxidation performance was investigated.We found that Sn ZVI hardly degraded phenol in the absence of ligand addition.Ligands initiated and promoted the degradation of pollutants by Sn ZVI.The data herein show that a characteristic inorganic ligand,tripolyphosphate(TPP),is more effective in enhancing oxidation than a characteristic organic ligand oxalate.In addition to the scavenging of reactive oxidants by the organic ligand,more ferrous ion(Fe(Ⅱ))dissolution from Sn ZVI in the TPP system is another cause for the superior enhancement by the inorganic ligand.In the oxalate system,as the sulfur content of Sn ZVI increased,the oxidation efficiency increased because Fe S shell promoted the transfer of electrons to produce more reactive oxygen species(ROS).In TPP system,the effect of sulfur content on oxidation performance is more complex.The Sn ZVI with low sulfur content showed poor oxidation performance compared with that of n ZVI.Further experiments proved that sulfidation might weaken the complexation of TPP with surface bound Fe,which would slow down the ionic Fe(II)dissolution rate.Therefore,sulfidation has the dual effects of enhancing electron transfer and inhibiting the complexation of inorganic ligands.In addition,the mechanisms of ROS generation in different ligand systems were investigated herein.Results showed that the critical ROS in both the oxalate and TPP systems are hydroxyl radicals,and that they are produced via one-electron activation of O_(2). | Xianglong Kong Chengwu Zhang Jingyi Zhang Lishuang Xuan Chuanyu Qin | 2021 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2021,33,2: | 2 |
| 8 | Determination of Henry's Law constant for methyl hydroperoxide by long path FTIR显示文摘Methyl hydroperoxide (MHP, CH 3OOH) is one of the main organic peroxides in the atmosphere. In order to understand how MHP partitions in atmospheric gas and liquid phases, the Henry’s Law constant for its aqueous solution is determined. A novel technique is established for measuring gas phase MHP concentration, i.e. the gas phase is collected by a gas bag and then analyzed by long path Fourier transform infrared (LP FTIR) spectrometry. At 283 K~303 K, the temperature dependence of the Henry’s Law constant for MHP can be expressed as ln K H= a/T-b , a =4386±140, b =9.19±0.48, where K H is in unit of molar concentration per atm, and T is in degrees Kelvin. | 11 | Degradation of organic contaminants through the activation of oxygen using zero valent copper coupled with sodium tripolyphosphate under neutral conditions显示文摘In this study,sodium tripolyphosphate(STPP)was used to promote the removal of organic pollutants in a zero-valent copper(ZVC)/O2 system under neutral conditions for the first time.20 mg/L p-nitrophenol(PNP)can be completely decomposed within 120 min in the ZVC/O2/STPP system.The PNP degradation process followed pseudo-first-order kinetics and the degradation rate of PNP gradually increased upon the decreasing ZVC particle size.The optimal pH of the reaction system was 5.0.Our mechanism investigation showed that Cu+generated by ZVC corrosion was the main reducing agent for the activation of 02 to produce ROS.-OH was identified as the only ROS formed during the degradation of PNP and its production pathway was the double-electron activation of O2(O2→H2 O2→·OH).In this process,STPP did not only promote the release of Cu+through its complexation,but also promoted the production of OH by reducing the redox potential of Cu2+/Cu+.In addition,we could initiate and terminate the reaction by controlling the pH.At pH<8.1,ZVC/02/STPP could continuously degrade organic pollutants;at pH>8.1,the reaction was terminated.STPP was recycled to continuously promote the corrosion of ZVC and O2 activation as long as the pH was<8.1.This study provided a new and efficient way for O2 activation and organic contaminants removal. | Chengwu Zhang Lishuang Xuan Jingyi Zhang Fang Yuan Xianglong Kong Chuanyu Qin | 2020 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2020,32,4: | 2 |
| 12 | Rural-urban Migration, Rural Household Income and Local Geographical Contexts——A Case of Northwestern Guangxi, China显示文摘This paper aims to examine New Economics of Labor Migration (NELM) in the northwestern Guangxi, China and investigate the relationships among rural-urban migration, rural household income and local geographical contexts. Stratified sampling and typical case study were adopted and 236 questionnaires were collected from four vil- lages, Daxin, Lixin, Longhe and Yongchang. We analyzed the rural-urban migration rate, household income and local geographical factors, focusing on the ratio of remittance income to total household income. Data descriptions and sta- tistical methods, such as Pearson Chi-square test, Contingency coefficient, Eta, Pearson correlation coefficient, t-test, multiple comparisons (LSD test, Tamhane T2, Dunnett T3 and Dunnet C test) were used. The results are as follows. Rural households’ income is diversified in survey villages so the motivation of rural-urban migration in the study area can be partly explained by NELM. The migration rate of households (the percentage of households with migrants in survey households) in survey villages varies from 50% to 86%, while the proportion of remittance income to house- hold income is in the range of 30% to 80%. In the village of Yongchang, with the least average arable land area per household, the remittance income plays a vital role in household income (80%). And the statistical findings show that the proportion is significantly and negatively correlated with arable land area per household. | 13 | The discovery of interfacial electronic interaction within cobalt boride@MXene for high performance lithium-sulfur batteries显示文摘Lithium-sulfur battery is strongly considered as the most promising next-generation energy storage system because of the high theoretical specific capacity.The serious'shuttle effect'and sluggish reaction kinetic limited the commercial application of lithium-sulfur battery.Many hetero structure s were applied to accelerate polysulfides conversion and suppress their migration in lithium-sulfur batteries.Nevertheless,the effect of the interface in heterostructure was not clear.Here,the Co_(2)B@MXene heterostructure is synthesized through chemical reactions at room temperature and employed as the interlayer material for Li-S batteries.The theoretical calculations and experimental results indicate that the interfacial electronic interaction of Co_(2)B@MXene induce the transfer of electrons from Co_(2)B to MXene,enhancing the catalytic ability and favoring fast redox kinetics of the polysulfides,and the theoretical calculations also reveal the underlying mechanisms for the electron transfer is that the two materials have different Fermi energy levels.The cell with Co_(2)B@MXene exhibits a high initial capacity of1577 mAh/g at 0.1 C and an ultralow capacity decay of 0.0088%per cycle over 2000 cycles at 2 C.Even at5.1 mg/cm^(2) of sulfur loading,the cell with Co_(2)B@MXene delivers 5.2 mAh/cm^(2) at 0.2 C. | Bin Guan Xun Sun Yu Zhang Xian Wu Yue Qiu Maoxu Wang Lishuang Fan Naiqing Zhang | 2021 | Chinese Chemical Letters2021,32,7: | 2 |
