1Incidence and mortality of lung cancer in China, 2008-2012显示文摘Objective: To analyze the incidence and mortality rates of lung cancer in China from 2008 to 2012.Methods: Incident and death cases of lung cancer were retrieved from the National Central Cancer Registry(NCCR) database collecting from 135 cancer registries in China during 2008-2012.The crude incidence and mortality rates of lung cancer were calculated by area(urban/rural),region(eastern,middle,western),gender and age group(0,1-4,5-9,…,85+).China census in 2000 and Segi's world population were applied for agestandardized rates.JoinPoint(Version 4.5.0.1) model was used for time trend analysis.Results: The crude incidence rate of lung cancer was 54.66/100,000 which ranked the first in overall cancers.The age-standardized incidence rates by China population(ASIRC) and by World population(ASIRW) were35.13/100,000 and 34.86/100,000,respectively.The crude mortality of lung cancer in China was 45.60/100,000 and it was the first cause of cancer-related death in overall cancers.The age-standardized mortality rates by Chinese standard population(ASMRC) and by world standard population(ASMRW) were 28.57/100,000 and 28.22/100,000,respectively.Incidence and mortality rates of lung cancer were higher in males than in females and higher in urban areas than in rural areas.Eastern areas had the highest incidence and mortality rates followed by middle and western areas.Incidence and mortality rates of lung cancer retained low level in age groups before 40 years old but increased greatly after and peaked in age group of 80-84.During 2003-2012,the temporal trend of the incidence rate of lung cancer in both sexes in China was general stable(P<0.05).The lung cancer incidence rate increased by 0.71% per year in females(P<0.05) and 2.26% per year in rural areas(P<0.05).The mortality rate of lung cancer decreased slightly annually during 2003-2012 in China(P>0.05).In urban areas,it declined by 0.76%per year(P<0.05),but rose by 2.09% per year(P<0.05) in rural areas.Conclusions: Appropriate targeted prevention,early detection and treatment programs should be carried out to control the local burden of lung cancer.Shuzheng Liu Qiong Chen Lanwei Guo Xiaoqin Cao Xibin Sun Wanqing Chen Jie He 2018Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2018,30,6:19
2Adsorption separation of carbon dioxide, methane and nitrogen on monoethanol amine modified β-zeolite显示文摘A new type of composite adsorbents was synthesized by incorporating monoethanol amine (MEA) into β-zeolite. The parent and MEA- functionalized β-zeolites were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), N2 adsorption, and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). The adsorption behavior of carbon dioxide (CO2), methane (CH4), and nitrogen (N2) on these adsorbents was investigated at 303 K. The results show that the structure of zeolite was well preserved after MEA modification. In comparison with CH4 and N2, CO2 was preferentially adsorbed on the adsorbents investigated. The introduction of MEA significantly improved the selectivity of both CO2/CH4 and CO2/N2, the optimal selectivity of CO2/CH4 can reach 7.70 on 40 wt% of MEA-functionalized β-zeolite (MEA(40)-β) at 1 atm. It is worth noticing that a very high selectivity of CO2/N2 of 25.67 was obtained on MEA(40)-β. Steric effect and chemical adsorbate-adsorbent interaction were responsible for such high adsorption selectivity of CO2. 4Artificial intelligence in drug design显示文摘Thanks to the fast improvement of the computing power and the rapid development of the computational chemistry and biology,the computer-aided drug design techniques have been successfully applied in almost every stage of the drug discovery and development pipeline to speed up the process of research and reduce the cost and risk related to preclinical and clinical trials.Owing to the development of machine learning theory and the accumulation of pharmacological data, the artificial intelligence(AI) technology, as a powerful data mining tool, has cut a figure in various fields of the drug design, such as virtual screening,activity scoring, quantitative structure-activity relationship(QSAR) analysis, de novo drug design, and in silico evaluation of absorption, distribution, metabolism, excretion and toxicity(ADME/T) properties. Although it is still challenging to provide a physical explanation of the AI-based models, it indeed has been acting as a great power to help manipulating the drug discovery through the versatile frameworks. 5Design of sandwich-structured ZnO/ZnS/Au photoanode for enhanced efficiency of photoelectrochemical wate splitting显示文摘We developed and demonstrated a ZnO/ZnS/Au composite photoanode with significantly enhanced photoelectrochemical water-splitting performance, con- taining a ZnS interlayer and Au nanoparticles. The solar-to-hydrogen conversion efficiency of this ZnO/ZnS/Au heterostructure reached 0.21%, 3.5 times that of pristine ZnO. The comparison of the incident photon-to-current efficiency (IPCE) and the photoresponse in the white and visible light regions further verified that the enhancement resulted from contributions of both UV and visible light. The modification of the Au NPs was shown to improve the photoelectrochemical (PEC) performance to both UV and visible light, as modification encouraged effective surface passivation and surface-plasmon- resonance effects. The ZnS interlayer favored the movement of photogenerated electrons under UV light and hot electrons under visible light, causing their injection into ZnO; this simultaneously suppressed the electron-hole recombination at the photoanode-electrolyte interface. 6Rapid degradation of hexachlorobenzene by micron Ag/Fe bimetal particles显示文摘The feasibility of the rapid degradation of hexachlorobenzene (HCB) by micron-size silver (Ag)/iron (Fe) particles was investigated.Ag/Fe particles with different ratios (0,0.05%,0.09%,0.20%,and 0.45%) were prepared by electroless silver plating on 300 mesh Fe powder,and were used to degrade HCB at different pH values and temperatures.The dechlorination ability of Fe greatly increased with small Ag addition,whereas too much added Ag would cover the Fe surface and reduce the effective reaction surface,thereby decreasing the extent of dechlorination.The optimal Ag/Fe ratio was 0.09%.Tafel polarization curves showed that HCB was rapidly degraded at neutral or acidic pH,whereas low pH levels severely intensified H2 production,which consumed the reducing electrons needed for the HCB degradation.HCB degradation was more sensitive to temperature than pH.The rate constant of HCB dechlorination was 0.452 min-1 at 85℃,50 times higher than that at 31℃.HCB was degraded in a successive dechlorination pathway,yielding the main products 1,2,4,5-tetrachlorobenzene and 1,2,4-trichlorobenzene within 2 hr.Xiaoqin Nie Jianguo Liu Xianwei Zeng Dongbei Yue 2013Journal of Environmental Sciences2013,25,3:9

9Strain Softening and Hardening Behavior in AZ61 Magnesium Alloy显示文摘The deformation behavior of AZ61 Mg alloy during hot deformation has been investigated in wide temperature and strain rate range by a Gleeble simulator. Specimens are deformed in compression in the temperature range of 523~673 K and at strain rates of 0.001~1 s-1. It is found that the flow curves exhibit a peak and then decrease towards steady-state of classical DRX, which decrease with rising temperature and decreasing strain rate. The deformation behavior of the specimens can be attributed to the occurrence of strain hardening and softening. As stress decreases, the strain hardening rate declines at a fast rate when temperature rises or strain rate decreases. The shapes of θ-σ curves indicate some important features such as subgrain formation, the critical stress, the peak stress and steady stress. 10Solute-homogenization model and its experimental verification in Mg-Gd-based alloys显示文摘Composition homogenization in solid solution is important for industrial alloys. In the present work, a solute homogenization model is proposed based on the chemical short-range-order tendency in Mg-Gdbased alloys. After a calculation using the cluster-plus-glue-atom model, the stable Mg-Gd structural unit is derived, [Gd-Mg12]Mg6, where one solute Gd is nearest-neighbored with twelve Mg atoms to form the characteristic hcp cluster [Gd-Mg12] and this cluster is matched with six Mg glue atoms. Such a local unit is then mixed with [Mg-Mg12]Mg3, the stable unit for pure Mg. Assuming that the Gd-containing units are arranged in fcc-or bcc-like lattice points and the Mg units in their octahedral interstices, three proportions between the two units are obtained, 1:1, 2:3, and 1:3, which constitute three solute homogenization modes. The prevailing Mg-Gd-based alloys are consequently classified into three groups, respectively exemplified by GW103 K(Mg-10 Gd-3 Y-0.4 Zr, wt%), GW83 K(Mg-8 Gd-3 Y-0.4 Zr), and GW63 K(Mg-6 Gd-3 Y-0.4 Zr). Mg-Gd-Y-Zr alloys were designed following the model(where Y and Zr were also added in substitution for Gd) and prepared by permanent-mould casting. 11Three-liquid-phase extraction and separation of V(V) and Cr(VI) from acidic leach solutions of high-chromium vanadium–titanium magnetite显示文摘A new method by liquid–liquid–liquid three phase system, consisting of acidified primary amine N1923(abbreviated as A-N1923), poly(ethylene glycol)(PEG) and (NH_4)_2SO_4 aqueous solution, was suggested for the separation and simultaneous extraction of V(V) and Cr(VI) from the acidic leach solutions of highchromium vanadium–titanium magnetite. Experimental results indicated that V(V) and Cr(VI) could be selectively enriched into the A-N1923 organic top phase and PEG-rich middle phase, respectively, while Al(III)and other co-existing impurity ions, such as Si(IV), Fe(III), Ti(IV), Mg(II) and Ca(II) in acidic leach solutions,could be enriched in the(NH_4)_2SO_4 bottom aqueous phase. During the process for extraction and separation of V(V) and Cr(VI), almost all of impurity ions could be removed. The separation factors between V(V) and Cr(VI) could reach 630 and 908, respectively in the organic top phase and PEG middle phase, and yields of recovered V(V) and Cr(VI) in the top phase and middle phase respectively were all above 90%.Various effects including aqueous p H, A-N1923 concentration, PEG added amount and(NH_4)_2SO_4 concentration on three-phase partitioning of V(V) and Cr(VI) were discussed. It was found that the partition of Cr(VI) into the PEG-rich middle phase was driven by hydrophobic interaction, while extraction of V(V) by A-N1923 resulted of anion exchange between NO_3^- and H_2V_(10)O_(28)^(-4). Stripping of V(V) and Cr(VI) from the top organic phase and the middle PEG-rich phase were achieved by mixing respectively with NaNO_3 aqueous solutions and Na OH-((NH_4)_2SO_4 solutions. 12Cloning and characterization of the gene encoding β-amyrin synthase in the glycyrrhizic acid biosynthetic pathway in Glycyrrhiza uralensis显示文摘Glycyrrhiza uralensis is considered to be one of the most important herbs in traditional Chinese medicine due to its numerous pharmacological effects particularly its ability to relieve cough and act as a mucolytic.Based on previous research,these effects are mediated by a number of active ingredients,especially glycyrrhizic acid(GA).In the present study,a gene encodingβ-amyrin synthase(β-AS)involved in GA biosynthesis in G.uralensis has been cloned and expressed in Saccharomyces cerevisiae.The cloned enzyme showed similar activity to native enzymes isolated from other Glycyrrhiza species to catalyze the conversion of 2,3-oxidosqualene intoβ-amyrin.In fact theβ-AS gene is particularly important in the GA biosynthetic pathway in G.uralensis.The complete sequence of the enzyme was determined and a phylogenetic tree based on theβ-AS gene of G.uralensis and 20 other species was created.This showed that Glycyrrhiza glabra had the closest kinship with G.uralensis.The results of this work will be useful in determining how to improve the efficacy of G.uralensis by improving its GA content and in exploring the biosynthesis of GA in vitro.Honghao Chen Ying Liu Xiaoqin Zhang Xinjie Zhan Chunsheng Liu 2013Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2013,3,6:5
13Microporous carbon nanofibers prepared by combining electrospinning and phase separation methods for supercapacitor显示文摘Microporous carbon nanofibers(MCNFs) derived from polyacrylonitrile nanofibers were fabricated via electrospinning technology and phase separation in the presence of polyvinylpyrrolidone(PVP).PVP together with a mixed solvent of N,N-Dimethylformamide and dimethyl sulfoxide was used as poreforming agent.The influences of PVP content in casting solution on the structure and electrochemical performance of the MCNFs were also investigated.The highest capacitance of 200 F/g was obtained on a three-electrode system at a scan rate of 0.5 A/g.The good performance was owing to the high specific surface area and the large amount of micro-pores,which enhanced the absorption and the transportation efficiency of electrolyte ion during charge/discharge process.This research indicated that the combination of electrospinning and phase separation technology could be used to fabricate microporous carbon nanofibers as electrode materials for supercapacitors with high specific surface area and outstanding electrochemical performance.Chang Liu Yongtao Tan Ying Liu Kuiwen Shen Bowu Peng Xiaoqin Niu Fen Ran 2016Journal of Energy Chemistry2016,25,4:5
14Novel Hybrid Nanoparticles of Vanadium Nitride/Porous Carbon as an Anode Material for Symmetrical Supercapacitor显示文摘Hybrid materials of vanadium nitride and porous carbon nanoparticles(VN/PCNPs) were fabricated by a facile pyrolysis process of vanadium pentoxide(V_2O_5) xerogel and melamine at relatively low temperature of 800 °C for supercapacitor application. The effects of the feed ratio of V_2O_5 to melamine(r), and nitrogen flow rate on the microstructure and electrochemical performance were also investigated. It was found that the size of the as-synthesized nanoparticles is about 20 nm. Both r value and N_2 flow rate have enormous impacts on morphology and microstructure of the nanoparticle, which correspondingly determined the electrochemical performance of the material. The VN/C hybrid nanoparticles exhibited high capacitive properties, and a maximum specific capacitance of 255.0 Fg^(-1) was achieved at a current density of 1.0 Ag^(-1) in 2 M KOH aqueous electrolyte and the potential range from 0 to -1.15 V. In addition,symmetrical supercapacitor fabricated with the as-synthesized VN/PCNPs presents a high specific capacitance of 43.5 F g^(-1) at 0.5 A g^(-1) based on the entire cell, and an energy density of 8.0 Wh kg^(-1) when the power density was 575 W kg^(-1). 15Synthesis and modification of well-ordered layered cathode oxide LiNi_(2/3)Mn_(1/3)O_2显示文摘Oxalic-acid-based co-precipitation method was employed to prepare LiNi2/3Mn1/3O2 sample with a high-ordered structure. Li+,Ni2+ and Mn2+ acetates were used as starting materials. The influence of the amount of lithium source in the starting materials on Li+ content,disorder of Li+-Ni2+ ions,and electrochemical performance has been investigated. Rietveld refinement shows that the sample prepared with 20% excess Li-source in the starting materials exhibits a perfect ordered structure. A specific discharge capacity is as high as 172 mAh/g at C/20 in the voltage range of 4.35?2.7 V. However,the cyclability is not satisfactory:about 25.3% fade in capacity was observed over 50 cycles. Chemically stable SiO2 was coated on the surface of LiNi2/3Mn1/3O2 particles. 16Grain-scale deformation in a Mg-0.8wt% Y alloy using crystal plasticity finite element method显示文摘Magnesium(Mg) alloys with hexagonal close-packed(HCP) structure usually have a poor ductility at room temperature. The addition of yttrium(Y) can improve the ductility of Mg alloys. To understand the underlying mechanism, crystal plasticity finite element method(CPFEM) was employed to simulate the tensile deformation of a Mg-0.8 wt% Y alloy. The simulated stress–strain curve and the grain-scale slip activities were compared with an in-situ tensile test conducted in a scanning electron microscope.According to the CPFEM result, basal slip is the dominant deformation mode in the plastic deformation stage, accounting for about 50% of total strain. Prismatic slip and pyramidal a slip are responsible for about 25% and 20% of the total strain, respectively. 17Stratigraphic framework of late Paleozoic in northeastern China显示文摘Late Paleozoic strata in northeastern China are distributed in a zonal pattern around the old-land on the Jiamusi-Mongolia Block.They are composed of active deposits in the regular distributed tectonic lithofacies zones.This indicates that the late Paleozoic strata belong to continental margin deposits.According to the strong conformability of the sedimentary strata in the same continental margin and distinct differences among the three continental margins,three stratigraphical regions of the Jiamusi-Mongolia Stratigraphical Province are recognized along the northern,southern and eastern margins of the Jiamusi-Mongolia Block,named respectively as Xing'an Stratigraphical Region,Inner Mongolia grass--Songhua River Stratigraphical Region and Baoqing--Hunchun Stratigraphical Region.Due to the characteristics of continental margin deposits and active sediments,the strata can be correlated on the level of formation by the methods of analysing the rock association in the same stratigraphic region.Therefore,some revisions of the lithological formations of the late Paleozoic strata in northeastern China have been made,and a new chart of lithostratigraphic correlation has been proposed.Furthermore,the present stratigraphic framework is setting on the International Stratigraphic Chart on the level of stage,after comprehensive researches to lithostratigraphy,biostratigraphy and chronostratigraphy,especially the conodont biostratigraphy and isotopic ages of volcanic rocks obtained in recent years.WANG Chengwen LI Ning SUN Yuewu ZONG Pu ZHAO Guowei LIU Hui MA Xiaoqin 2013Global Geology2013,16,1:4
18Differential effects of rapamycin on Bursaphelenchus xylophilus with different virulence and differential expression of autophagy genes under stresses in nematodes显示文摘Pine wilt disease(PWD)caused by the pine wood nematode(PWN),Bursaphelenchus xylophilus,is a devastating disease for Pinus spp.The virulence and resilience of PWN are closely linked to the spread and development of PWD.Numerous studies have shown that autophagy has important physiological and pathological functions in eukaryotes.But little is known about the relationships between autophagy and PWNs’virulence and resistance.In this study,through observation under the microscope and recording,we found the induction of autophagy by rapamycin could dramatically improve movement ability of PWNs with different virulence,and the highly virulent AMA3 isolate moved more than the low virulent YW4 isolate when autophagy was over-induced.High concentrations of rapamycin substantially improved the feeding and reproduction of AMA3 but not YW4.Conserved domains of autophagy genes BxATG3,BxATG4,and BxATG7 were first cloned from PWNs by reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR).Expression profiling of these three autophagy genes under biotic and abiotic stresses in PWNs with different virulence was determined by quantitative RT-PCR.The results revealed the expression levels of these three autophagy genes in PWNs with different virulence were increased significantly when nematodes were subject to high and low temperatures,oxidative stress,and defensive responses of pine trees.The expression levels of autophagy genes under biotic and abiotic stresses in AMA3 were higher than those in YW4,and different genes showed different performance.Our study clarified that autophagy was closely related to virulence and resistance of PWN,and the ability of a highly virulent isolate to regulate autophagy activity under stresses was stronger than that of a low virulent isolate.Hongbin Liu Fan Wu Xiaoqin Wu Jianren Ye 2019Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2019,51,3:4

20Angular-based spatially resolved laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy: a new technique for the effective enhancement of signals without an external time delay system显示文摘In this study, we developed a novel angularbased spatially resolved laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy(ABSR-LIBS) technique. This new method allows the spatially resolved spectroscopic properties of laserinduced plasma to be investigated using different angles and polar distances with a spatially adjustable fiber optics probe. The experimental evaluations suggested that the intensity of the Al signal distributions in the ‘‘side-view''depended greatly on the angle of the collection probe. The location of a collection probe at 50° would facilitate efficient spectral collection and minimize the disturbance of the plasma plume. The spectral signals in the plasma emissions had different distribution at various polar distances using the same collection angle, and the highest signal intensity was observed between 15 and 35 mm polar distances. This ABSR-LIBS technique improved both the LIBS signal and the maximum emission intensity of Al atoms by several times at the best spatial position in our experimental conditions. Furthermore, we successfully obtained well-resolved line emission spectroscopy signals without any external time delay using a nongated spectrometer based on the ABSR-LIBS system.
