| 1 | Experimental study on hydration damage mechanism of shale from the Longmaxi Formation in southern Sichuan Basin, China显示文摘As a serious problem in drilling operation,wellbore instability restricts efficient development of shale gas.The interaction between the drilling fluid and shale with hydration swelling property would have impact on the generation and propagation mechanism of cracks in shale formation,leading to wellbore instability.In order to investigate the influence of the hydration swelling on the crack propagation,mineral components and physicochemical properties of shale from the Lower Silurian Longmaxi Formation(LF)were investigated by using the XRD analysis,cation exchange capabilities(CEC)analysis,and SEM observation,and we researched the hydration mechanism of LF shale.Results show that quartz and clay mineral are dominated in mineral composition,and illite content averaged 67%in clay mineral.Meanwhile,CEC of the LF shale are 94.4 mmol/kg.The process of water intruding inside shale along microcracks was able to be observed through high power microscope,meanwhile,the hydration swelling stress would concentrate at the crack tip.The microcracks would propagate,bifurcate and connect with each other,with increase of water immersing time,and it would ultimately develop into macro-fracture.Moreover,the macrocracks extend and coalesce along the bedding,resulting in the rock failure into blocks.Hydration swelling is one of the major causes that lead to wellbore instability of the LF shale,and therefore improving sealing capacity and inhibition of drilling fluid system is an effective measure to stabilize a borehole. | Xiangjun Liu Wei Zeng Lixi Liang Jian Xiong | 2016 | Petroleum2016,2,1: | 14 |
| 2 | The influence of water-based drilling fluid on mechanical property of shale and the wellbore stability显示文摘Because of high cost and pollution of oil-based drilling fluid,the water-based drilling fluid is increasingly used now.However,bedding planes and micro-cracks are rich in shale formation.When water-based drilling fluid contacts formation rock,it causes the propagation of crack and invasion of drilling fluid,which decrease shale strength and cause wellbore instability.In this paper,we analyzed influence of water-based drilling fluid on shale strength and failure mode by mechanics experiment.Based on those experimental results,considering the effect of bedding plane and drilling time,we established modeling of wellbore stability for shale formation.The result from this model indicates that in certain azimuth of horizontal well,collapsing pressure increases dramatically due to shale failure along with bedding plane.In drilling operation,those azimuths are supposed to be avoided.This model is applicable for predication of collapsing pressure in shale formation and offers reference for choosing suitable mud weight. | Shu He Lixi Liang Yinjin Zeng Yi Ding Yongxue Lin Xiangjun Liu | 2016 | Petroleum2016,2,1: | 6 |
| 3 | The association between early-onset cardiac events caused by neoadjuvant or adjuvant chemotherapy in triple-negative breast cancer patients and some novel autophagy-related polymorphisms in their genomic DNA: a real-world study显示文摘Background:An increasing number of cancer patients die of cardiovascular diseases.The cardiotoxicity of chemo-therapy is particularly important in triple-negative breast cancer(TNBC)with limited therapeutic options.Cardiac autophagy is an important mechanism of cardiotoxicity.This research was aimed to investigate the cardiotoxicity of chemotherapy in TNBC,screen the susceptible population,and determine the relationship between cardiotoxicity and autophagy-related polymorphisms.Methods:From a total of 2450 stage I-III TNBC patients,147 met the inclusion criteria and finally recruited.Electro-cardiography(ECG)was performed before most chemotherapy cycles,and echocardiography(UCG)was performed according to clinical needs.All ECG and UCG records were re-interpreted by cardiologists at the National Center for Cardiovascular Disease,Fuwai Hospital.According to the National Center for Biotechnology Information and the Catalog of Somatic Mutations in Cancer database,we selected 25 single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs)related to autophagy and genotyped the 147 TNBC patients.Paired-sample T tests,Chi squared tests,and logistic regression models were employed for the analysis.Results:Only 46(31.3%)patients had normal ECG records after every chemotherapy cycle.Among the 16 patients who underwent UCG,2(12.5%)had a reversible decrease of left ventricular ejection fraction.The use of anthracyclines and excessive alcohol consumption were risk factors of ECG abnormalities.With the continuation of chemotherapy,heart rate gradually increased.Anthracyclines were associated with QRS duration abnormalities(P=0.043).After genotyping for 25 autophagy-related SNPs,we found that the G allele of autophagy-related 13(ATG13)rs10838611 was significantly associated with ECG abnormalities(odds ratio=2.258,95%confidence interval=1.318-3.869;P=0.003).Conclusion:ECG abnormalities caused by chemotherapy are common in the real world.Autophagy-related SNPs are associated with chemotherapy-induced cardiotoxicity,thereby providing new evidence for autophagy as a cause of chemotherapy-induced cardiac damage. | Binliang Liu Tao An Meiying Li Zongbi Yi Chunxiao Li Xiaoying Sun Xiuwen Guan Lixi Li Yanfeng Wang Yuhui Zhang Binghe Xu Fei Ma Yixin Zeng | 2018 | Cancer Communications2018,38,1: | 5 |

| 7 | Molecular structure on the detoxification of fluorinated liquid crystal monomers with reactive oxidation species in the photocatalytic process显示文摘Fluorinated liquid crystal monomers(LCMs)are begun to emerge as new persistent organic pollutants.Herein,the structure-reactivity relationships of fluorinated LCMs 1,2,3-trifluoro-5-[3-(3-propylcyclohexyl)cyclohexyl]benzene(TPrCB),1,2-difluoro-4-[trans-4-(trans-4-propylcyclohexyl)cyclohexyl]benzene(DPrCB),4-[(trans,trans)-4'-(3-Buten-1-yl)[1,10-bicyclohexyl]-4-yl]-1,2-difluoro-benzene(BBDB)and 1-[4-(4-ethylcyclohexyl)cyclohexyl]-4(trifluoromethoxy)benzene(ECTB)subject to photocatalysis-generated oxidation species were investigated.The degradation rate constant of BBDB was 3.0,2.6,and 6.8 times higher than DPrCB,TPrCB and ECTB,respectively.The results reveal that BBDB,DPrCB and TPrCB had mainly negative electrostatic potential(ESP)regions which were vulnerable to electrophilic attack by h^(+),·OH and·O_(2)^(-),while ECTB was composed of mainly positive ESP regions which were vulnerable to nucleophilic attack by·OH and·O_(2)^(-).The detoxification processes of BBDB,DPrCB and TPrCB included carbon bond cleavage and benzene ring opening.However,the methoxy group of ECTB reduced the nucleophilic reactivity on the benzene ring,leading to slower detoxification efficiency.These findings may help to develop LCMs treatment technologies based on structure-reactivity relationships。 | Shaoxiong He Mingjie Shen Enya Wu Renli Yin Mingshan Zhu Lixi Zeng | 2022 | Environmental Science and Ecotechnology2022,,1: | 1 |

| 15 | Distribution characteristics of photoinitiators and their flux estimation from the Pearl River Delta to the coastal waters of the South China Sea显示文摘Photoinitiators(PIs)are widely used in industrial polymerization processes.It has been reported that PIs are ubiquitous in indoor environments and that humans are exposed to PIs,but the occurrence of PIs in natural environments are rarely known.In the present study,25 PIs,including 9 benzophenones(BZPs),8 amine co-initiators(ACIs),4 thioxanthones(TXs)and 4 phosphine oxides(POs),were analyzed in water and sediment samples collected from eight riverine outlets of the Pearl River Delta(PRD).Eighteen,14,and 14 of the 25 target PIs were detected in water,suspended particulatematter(SPM)and sediment samples,respectively.The total concentrations of PIs in water,SPM,and sediment were in the ranges of 2.88–96.1 ng/L,9.25–923 ng/g dry weight(dw),and 3.79–56.9 ng/g dw,with geometric mean concentration(GM)of 10.8 ng/L,48.6 ng/g dw,and 17.1 ng/g dw,respectively.A significant linear regression was observed between the log partitioning coefficients(Kd)values of PIs and their log octanol water partition coefficient(Kow)values(R^(2)=0.535,p<0.05).The annual riverine input of PIs to the coastal waters of the South China Sea via eightmain outlets of the PRD was estimated to be 4.12×10^(3)kg/year,and the∑BZPs,∑ACIs,∑TXs and∑POs contributed to 1.96×10^(3),1.24×10^(3),89.6 and 830 kg/year,respectively.This is the first report of a systematic description of the occurrence characteristics of PIs exposure in water,SPM,and sediment.The environmental fate and risks of PIs in aquatic environments need further investigations. | Yuqing He Zibin Pan Xinxin Liang Ruiman Xie Yuying Sun Juan Li YaweiWang Lixi Zeng | 2023 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2023,,6: | 0 |
| 16 | Operando optical fiber monitoring of nanoscale and fast temperature changes during photo-electrocatalytic reactions显示文摘In situ and continuous monitoring of thermal effects is essential for understanding photo-induced catalytic processes at catalyst's surfaces.However,existing techniques are largely unable to capture the rapidly changing temperatures occurring in sub-μm layers at liquid-solid interfaces exposed to light.To address this,a sensing system based on a gold-coated conventional single-mode optical fiber with a tilted fiber Bragg grating inscribed in the fiber core is proposed and demonstrated.The spectral transmission from these devices is made up of a dense comb of narrowband resonances that can differentiate between localized temperatures rapid changes at the catalyst's surface and those of the environment.By using the gold coating of the fiber as an electrode in an electrochemical reactor and exposing it to light,thermal effects in photo-induced catalysis at the interface can be decoded with a temperature resolution of 0.1℃and a temporal resolution of 0.1 sec,without perturbing the catalytic operation that is measured simultaneously.As a demonstration,stable and reproducible correlations between the light-to-heat conversion and catalytic activities over time were measured for two different catalysis processes(linear and nonlinear).These kinds of sensing applications are ideally suited to the fundamental qualities of optical fiber sensors,such as their compact size,flexible shape,and remote measurement capability,thereby opening the way for various thermal monitoring in hard-to-reach spaces and rapid catalytic reaction processes. | ZHI LI YONGGUANG XIAO FU LIU XIANGYU YAN DAOTONG YOU KAIWEI LI LIXI ZENG MINGSHAN ZHU GAOZHI XIAO JACQUES ALBERT TUAN GUO | 2022 | Light(Science & Applications)2022,11,9: | 0 |
