| 1 | Mapping wetland changes in China between 1978 and 2008显示文摘Four wetland maps for all China have been produced,based on Landsat and CBERS-02B remote sensing data between 1978 and 2008 (1978,1990,2000 and 2008).These maps were mainly developed by manual interpretation and validated by substantial field investigation in 2009.Based on these maps,we analyzed the 2008 wetland distribution in China and discussed wetland changes and their drivers over the past 30 years.(i) There were about 324097 km 2 of wetlands in 2008,for which inland marshes or swamps were the most common wetland type (35%),with lakes (26%) second.Most of the wetlands were in Heilongjiang,Inner Mongolia,Qinghai and Tibet,occupying about 55% of the national wetland area.(ii) From 1978 to 2008,China's wetland area continually and significantly decreased,by about 33% based on changes in the wetland map.This was in sharp contrast to the increase in artificial wetlands,which increased by about 122%.Inland marshes accounted for the main loss of total wetlands from 1978 to 2000.From 2000 through 2008,riverine and lacustrine wetlands constituted the main wetland loss.Fortunately however,the rate of wetland loss decreased from 5523 to 831 km 2 /a.(iii) The change ratio of lost natural wetlands (including inland and coastal wetlands) to non-wetlands has decreased slightly over the past 30 years.From 1978 to 1990,nearly all natural wetlands (98%) lost were transformed into non-wetlands.However,the ratio declined to 86% from 1990 to 2000,and to 77% from 2000 to 2008.(iv) All Chinese provinces were divided into three groups according to patterns of wetland changes,which could relate to the driving forces of such changes.Tibet was completely different from other provinces,as it was one representative example in which there was a net wetland increase,because of global warming and decreased human activity since 1990.Increased economic development caused considerable wetland loss in most eastern provinces,and artificial wetlands increased. | NIU ZhenGuo ZHANG HaiYing WANG XianWei YAO WenBo ZHOU DeMin ZHAO KuiYi ZHAO Hui LI NaNa HUANG HuaBing LI CongCong YANG Jun LIU CaiXia LIU Shuang WANG Lin LI Zhan YANG ZhenZhong QIAO Fei ZHENG YaoMin CHEN YanLei SHENG YongWei GAO XiaoHong ZHU WeiHong WANG WenQing WANG Hong WENG YongLing ZHUANG DaFang LIU JiYuan LUO ZhiCai CHENG Xiao GUO ZiQi GONG Peng | 2012 | Chinese Science Bulletin2012,57,22: | 51 |

| 3 | Extraction of heavy metals from e-waste contaminated soils using EDDS显示文摘Environmental contamination due to uncontrolled e-waste recycling activities is drawing increasing attention in the world. Extraction of these metals with biodegradable chelant [S,S]-ethylenediaminedisuccinic acid (EDDS) and the factors influencing extraction efficacy were investigated in the present study. Results showed that the addition of EDDS at low pH (5.5) produced higher metal extraction than that at high pH (8.0) solution. Metal speciation analysis indicated that Cu was completely complexed with EDDS at different pH conditions with various amounts of EDDS applied. For Pb and Zn, at low EDDS dose of 0.304 mol/kg soil, they were present as Pb- and Zn-EDDS. However, at high EDDS dose of 1.26 mol/kg soil, most of Pb was bound with dissolved organic matter. | 5 | Theoretical analysis of flamelet model for supersonic turbulent combustion显示文摘Being physically intuitionistic and computationally efficient,the flamelet model has obtained increasing attention and becomes popular in numerical simulations of supersonic combustion.However,the flamelet model was firstly built for simulations of the low-speed flows.Therefore it is still unclear whether the assumption of the flamelet model is reasonable in supersonic combustion.This paper tries to identify the existence of the flamelet mode in supersonic combustion.Firstly,the interaction of the turbulent fluctuation and the flame is discussed,based on which the combustion regime is distinguished.Then the charac-teristic length scale of the turbulent flows and the combustion inside the scramjet combustor are calculated and compared,which are used to identify whether the assumption of the flamelet model is reasonable in supersonic flows.The results show that for premixed combustion,due to the low fluctuation velocity in the recirculation zone and the shear layer,the assumption of the flamelet model is established for all the flight Mach numbers,while for non-premixed combustion the assumption is also established for most of the flight Mach numbers except for very high Mach number under which the slow reaction mode dominates the combustion.In order to quantitatively examine the combustion mode,numerical calculations are performed to simulate the strut-injection supersonic combustion which has been experimentally investigated in German Aerospace Center.The results show that the supersonic combustion occurs in the fully-developed turbulent regions and the assumption of the flamelet model is established in the whole flow field. | FAN ZhouQin LIU WeuDong SUN MingBo WANG ZhenGuo ZHUANG FengChen LUO WenLei | 2012 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2012,55,1: | 7 |
| 6 | Effect of cavity flame holder configuration on combustion flow field performance of integrated hypersonic vehicle显示文摘As one of the most common methods to be used as the flame holding mechanism in the propulsion system of the integrated hypersonic vehicle,the research of cavity flame holder has drawn an ever increasing attention of many researchers. The two-dimensional coupled implicit NS equations,the standard k-ε turbulent models and the finite-rate/eddy-dissipation reaction model were employed to simulate the experimental items arranged by the orthogonal design,and the variance analysis method was used to investigate the effects of the geometric parameters of the cavity flame holder on the aero-propulsive performance of the integrated hypersonic vehicle,namely the depth,the ratio of length-to-depth and the sweepback angle. The obtained results show that the geometric parameters make only a little difference to the aero-propulsive performance of the vehicle in the range considered in this paper,and the cavity flame holder with its sweepback angle 45° can satisfy the performance requirement of the integrated hypersonic vehicle further. | 10 | Parametric effects on the combustion flow field of a typical strut-based scramjet combustor显示文摘The flame-holding mechanism in hypersonic propulsion technology is the most important factor in prolonging the duration time of hypersonic vehicles.The two-dimensional coupled implicit Reynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes equations,the shear-stress transport k-ω turbulence model and the finite-rate/eddy-dissipation reaction models were used to simulate the combustion flow field of a typical strut-based scramjet combustor.We investigated the effects of the hydrogen-air reaction mechanism and fuel injection temperature and pressure on the parametric distributions in the combustor.The numerical results show qualitative agreement with the experimental data.The hydrogen-air reaction mechanism makes only a slight difference in parametric distributions along the walls of the combustor,and the expansion waves and shock waves exist in the combustor simultaneously.Furthermore,the expansion wave is formed ahead of the shock wave.A transition occurs from the shock wave to the normal shock wave when the injection pressure or temperature increases,and the reaction zone becomes broader.When the injection pressure and temperature both increase,the waves are pushed out of the combustor with subsonic flows.When the waves are generated ahead of the strut,the separation zone is formed in double near the walls of the combustor because of the interaction of the shock wave and the boundary layer.The separation zone becomes smaller and disappears with the disappearance of the shock wave.Because of the horizontal fuel injection,the vorticity is generated near the base face of the strut,and this region is the main origin for turbulent combustion. | HUANG Wei WANG ZhenGuo LUO ShiBin LIU Jun | 2011 | Chinese Science Bulletin2011,56,35: | 3 |
| 11 | Genetic control of compound leaf development in the mungbean(Vigna radiata L.)显示文摘Many studies suggest that there are distinct regulatory processes controlling compound leaf development in different clades of legumes.Loss of function of the LEAFY(LFY)orthologs results in a reduction of leaf complexity to different degrees in inverted repeat-lacking clade(IRLC)and non-IRLC species.To further understand the role of LFY orthologs and the molecular mechanism in compound leaf development in non-IRLC plants,we studied leaf development in unifoliate leaf(un)mutant,a classical mutant of mungbean(Vigna radiata L.),which showed a complete conversion of compound leaves into simple leaves.Our analysis revealed that UN encoded the mungbean LFY ortholog(VrLFY)and played a significant role in leaf development.In situ RNA hybridization results showed that STM-like KNOXI genes were expressed in compound leaf primordia in mungbean.Furthermore,increased leaflet number in heptafoliate leaflets1(hel1)mutants was demonstrated to depend on the function of VrLFY and KNOXI genes in mungbean.Our results suggested that HEL1 is a key factor coordinating distinct processes in the control of compound leaf development in mungbean and its related non-IRLC legumes. | Keyuan Jiao Xin Li Shihao Su Wuxiu Guo Yafang Guo Yining Guan Zhubing Hu Zhenguo Shen Da Luo | 2019 | Horticulture Research2019,6,1: | 2 |
