1Synthesis and characterization of core/shell structured nanophosphors CePO_4:Tb@LaPO_4 by solvothermal method显示文摘Core/shell structured CePO4:Tb(III) @LaPO4 and CePO4:Tb(III) were successfully synthesized in tris(2-ethylhexyl) phosphate(TEHP) and diethylene glycol(DEG) solvents for comparison of the two techniques in open air and closed reaction vessel.Morphology and crystal structure of the core/shell nanophosphors were determined by using X-ray diffraction(XRD) and transmission electron microscopy(TEM) ,which showed that nanophosphors had diameter of about 5-10 nm with the monoclinic monazite phase.The nanophosphors obtained by close vessel procedure showed smaller size,more homogeneity and pure crystallite.The luminescent measurements were done upon the different excitation wavelengths in ultraviolet region and at room temperature to elucidate the influences of the used solvents and the reaction temperatures.It was found that CePO4:Tb@LaPO4 prepared by the close vessel synthesis showed the intensity of green band of the transfer from 5D4 to 7F5 energy level,which was strongly increased,and the luminescent decay time was 3.2 ms,which was longer than that of naked CePO4:Tb phosphor.Dinh Xuan Loc Tran Thi Kim Chi Tran Thu Huong Nguyen Vu Tran Kim Anh Wieslaw Strek Le Quoc Minh 2011Journal of Rare Earths2011,29,12:2

6Antibiotic usage in surgical sperm retrievals among IVF centers显示文摘Surgical sperm retrieval(SSR)is currently one of the most common procedures in in vitro fertilization(IVF).However,a gap between the guidelines and routine clinical practice regarding antibiotic use in sSR,which might lead to antibiotic resistance,is a challenging problem worldwide.A cross-sectional survey was conducted from May 1,2021,to July 15,2021,to investigate antibiotic usage by medical professionals when performing SSR in IVF centers in Vietnam.The confidential questionnaire comprised 12 items,including characteristics of the study population,awareness of antimicrobial resistance,attitude toward prescribing antibiotics,and current practice of prescribing antibiotics when performing SSR.Surveys were completed by 30 of 45 registered IVF centers(66.7%).Among 67 physicians working at those centers,the age and work-experience years(mean±standard deviation[s.d.])were 38.6±6.6 years and 11.2±7.0 years,respectively.Over 60%of them held a degree in Obstetrics and Gynecology,and over four-fifths were men.Most respondents'often/very often/always'raised awareness of antimicrobial resistance to their patients(83.3%),but only half of them'often/occasionally'prescribed antibiotics to patients with SSR in cases where the prescription would be optional.About one-tenth of respondents followed the recommendation from the American Urological Association using'prophylaxis only'for SSR patients.For more invasive SSR,physicians tended to prescribe more complicated and sometimes inappropriate regimens.In conclusion,antibiotic usage in SSR was not always appropriate among IVF centers.Further studies may define specific recommendations for regimens,intervention strategies,and programs to promote appropriate antibiotic use for SSR patients among IVF specialists.Le Dang Khoa Ngo Dinh Trieu Vy Nguyen Minh Tai Loc Le Duc Thang Dang Tuan Anh Nguyen Phuc Hieu Giang Huynh Nhu Nguyen Dinh Tao Le Hoang David J Handelsman 2022Asian Journal of Andrology2022,24,6:0

8Tuning the inhomogeneous charge transport in ZnO interfaces for ultrahigh on/off ratio top-gated field-effect-transistor arrays显示文摘The interface between oxide/oxide layers shows an inhomogeneous charge transport behavior,which reveals a high conductivity owing to interface-doped.One typical example is the hetero-interface between ZnO film and other wide band gap oxides(e.g.,Al_(2)O_(3),TiO_(2),and HfO_(2)).It is thus quite evident that the ZnO/other oxides hetero-interface contains high density electron carriers effectively screening the gate-induced electric field.Thus,an extremely weak gate modulation in ZnO film was showed,resulting in very low on/off ratio of 1.69 in top-gate field-effect-transistor(TG-FET)configuration.So,to extend the usage of ZnO TG-FET is not quite possible toward further practical application.Herein,we clarified the correlation of inhomogeneous region in oxide/oxide hetero-junction by systematically study.Our work suggests that a self-assembly of molecules(SAM)buffer layer is suitable for tuning the inhomogeneous charge transport in ZnO film,which not only reduces the interface trap density,but also effectively enhances the gate electric field modulation at the hetero-interface.We further report the robust fabrication of TG-FET arrays based on ZnO thin film,using an ultra-thin alkylphosphonic acid molecule monolayer as buffer layer.Our device demonstrates a pronounced ultrahigh on/off ratio of≥10^(8),which is 8-order of magnitude higher than that of a device without buffer layer.For the highly reliable arrays,our device exhibits a high yield of over 93%with an average on/off ratio of^10^(7) across the entire wafer scale,mobility(18.5 cm^(2)/(V·s)),an extended bias-stressing(~2,000 s)and long-stability(~150 days)under ambient conditions.Thanh Luan Phan Dinh Loc Duong Tuan Khanh Chau Sidi Fan Won Tae Kang Thi Suong Le Hyun Yong Song Linfeng Sun Van Tu Vu Min Ji Lee Quoc An Vu Young Hee Lee Woo Jong Yu 2020Nano Research2020,13,11:0
