2Hierarchically Correlated Equilibrium Q-learning for Multi-area Decentralized Collaborative Reactive Power Optimization显示文摘A hierarchically correlated equilibrium Q-learning(HCEQ)algorithm for reactive power optimization that considers carbon emission on the grid-side as an optimization objective,is proposed here.Based on the multi-area decentralized collaborative framework,the controllable variables in each region are divided into several optimization layers,which is an effective method for solving the limitations posed by dimensionality.The HCEQ provides constant information on the interaction between the state-action value function matrices,as well as on the cooperative game equilibrium among agents in each region.After acquiring the optimal value function matrix in the pre-learning process,HCEQ is able to quickly achieve an optimal solution online.Simulation of the IEEE 57-bus system is performed,which demonstrates that the proposed algorithm can effectively solve multi-area decentralized collaborative reactive power optimization,with the desired global search capabilities and convergence speed.Min Tan Chuanjia Han Xiaoshun Zhang Lexin Guo Tao Yu 2016CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2016,2,3:3
3Epithelial-mesenchymal transition in organ fibrosis development:current understanding and treatment strategies显示文摘Organ fibrosis is a process in which cellular homeostasis is disrupted and extracellular matrix is excessively deposited.Fibrosis can lead to vital organ failure and there are no effective treatments yet.Although epithelial-mesenchymal transition(EMT)may be one of the key cellular mechanisms,the underlying mechanisms of fibrosis remain largely unknown.EMT is a cell phenotypic process in which epithelial cells lose their cell-to-cell adhesion and polarization,after which they acquire mesenchymal features such as infiltration and migration ability.Upon injurious stimulation in different organs,EMT can be triggered by multiple signaling pathways and is also regulated by epigenetic mechanisms.This narrative review summarizes the current understanding of the underlying mechanisms of EMT in fibrogenesis and discusses potential strategies for attenuating EMT to prevent and/or inhibit fibrosis.Despite better understanding the role of EMT in fibrosis development,targeting EMT and beyond in developing therapeutics to tackle fibrosis is challenging but likely feasible.Lexin Liu Qizhe Sun Frank Davis Jianhua Mao Hailin Zhao Daqing Ma 2022Burns & Trauma2022,10,1:3
4Use of microbial fuel cells to monitor current production in Qi-deficient liver cells显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To monitor current production in Qi-deficient liver cells,and to study how cellular proton leakage might affect electric current production.METHODS:Cells were placed in an microbial fuel cells(MFC)anode and the electric current was measured.Mitochondrial-affecting chemicals,2,4-dinitrophenol(DNP)and resveratrol(RVT),were used to induce proton leakage in cells and their effect on current production observed.MCF-7 breast cancer cells exhibited higher proton leakage relative tonormal liver cells.A mouse model for Qi-deficiency was prepared according to the Methodology of Animal Experiment in Chinese medicine.The Qi-tonics Buzhongyiqi Tang(BZYQT),which is used to treat the Qi-deficiency condition,was applied to Qi-deficient liver cells to examine how current production was altered.RESULTS:Adding either DNP or RVT to normal liver cells increased current production.MCF-7 cells that possessed high proton leakage were also found to produce higher currents than normal liver cells.Higher current production,lower cellular glucose content,and lower adenosine triphosphate(ATP)production rate were found in Qi-deficient liver cells,in which the use of DNP or RVT further increased current production.The use of BZYQT to treat Qi-deficient liver cells decreased current production,counteracted the action of DNP,and also improved cellular glucose content.CONCLUSION:High electric current production was found in liver cells with high cellular proton leakage.Positive current responses to both mitochondria-affecting chemicals,DNP and RVT,appeared to indicate proper mitochondrial function.The high proton leakage detected in Qi-deficient liver cells might have caused high energy losses,which served to explain the observed lower cellular glucose content and ATP production rate than in normal cells.These results might also explain the exhibited syndromes of low energy and fatigue in Qi-deficient patients.Proton leakage,induced by DNP or the Qi-deficient condition,was possibly caused by unusual uncoupling of oxidative phosphorylation and appeared to be inhibited by treatment with BZYQT,such that decreased current pro-duction was observed after BZYQT treatment.Karen Poon Liang Lexin Xu Chang Wang Ruihua 2016Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2016,36,2:1

13Fabrication of hierarchical MXene-based AuNPs-containing core-shell nanocomposites for high efficient catalysts显示文摘MXene is a new type of layered two-dimensional transition metal carbide materials differing from graphene, demonstrating intriguing chemical/physical properties. Here the chemical modification of MXene and next fabrication of core-shell MXene-COOH@(PEI/PAA)_n composites have been investigated. The obtained MXene-based composites were treated with gold nanoparticles to form MXene—COOH@(PEI/PAA)_n@AuNPs nanocomposites, and their catalytic properties for nitro-compounds were studied. 14Zirconium Doped Hydrotalcite-based NiAl Mixed Oxides——Enhanced Performance for Adsorption of SO2 and NO显示文摘In the present study, the adsorptive behavior of zirconium doped hydrotalcite-based NiAl mixed oxides for reducing NO and SO2 was compared. According to tlie experimental results, the Zr^4+ cations were partially dissolved in crystalline NiO phase. With the addition of Zr, new centers for oxygen release and storage were formed, Lewis acid strength increased, and weakly and strongly alkaline sites were expanded. Moreover, in situ FTIR(Fourier transfonn infrared spectroscopy) investigation demonstrated that the amounts of surface bisulfite, sulfite, nitrite and nitrate spe? cies ofZrNiAlO were much more than those ofNiAlO. 17A three-pulmonary vein isolation approach to treat paroxysmal atrial fibrillation显示文摘Objective To investigate the safety and efficacy of a 3-pulmonary vein (PV) isolation approach in treating paroxysmal atrial fibrillation (AF). Methods Radiofrequency catheter ablation was used to eliminate PV potential in 11 patterns with frequent paroxysmal AF refractory to anti-arrhythmic agents. During sinus rhythm, PV potential was mapped in the left and right superior PVs and left inferior PV. The procedural success was defined as the elimination of PV potential in the 3 PVs. Restults PV potential was identified and abolished in a total of 24 PVs, mostly in the left and right superior PV. There was no pulmonary stenosis or other complications during or after the procedures. AF recurred in one patient after an average of 12 ± 3 month follow-up. Conclusions PV potemials were present mostly in the left or right superior PV. 18Epidemiology and prevention of adverse drug reactions in the elderly显示文摘Many studies have demonstrated a correlation between increasing age and adverse drug reactions. This increased risk is related to aged-related changes in pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics. In addition, chronic illnesses such as congestive heart failure, coronary artery disease and hypertension are more prevalent in the elderly who also have an increased risk of diabetes, arthritis and cancer. Consequently elderly patients are often treated with multiple medications, which may cause drug interactions and adverse drug reactions. Adequate undergraduate training in clinical pharmacology and continued professional development in evidence-based therapeutics will undoubtedly reduce inappropriate prescribing and improve the quality of medications. 19Rational designed microstructure pressure sensors with highly sensitive and wide detection range performance显示文摘Highly sensitive pressure sensors are often deployed in human-machine interaction area,touch screen and human motion detection.However,there are still great challenges to fabricating with high sensitivity pressure sensor with wide-range detection.Herein,we developed a new strategy to fabricate a highly sensitive pressure sensor using sandpaper and improve its detection range using a sacrificial template.It was the fthatirst time to combine microstructure processing with the sacrificial template method to fabricate pressure sensor.The microstructure of sandpaper endowed the sensor with high sensitivity,and the elastic substrate enhanced the sensor ability to resist high pressure without being damaged.The fabricated sensor device exhibits a superior sensitivity of 39.077 kPa-1in the range from 50 kPa to 110 kPa with a broad linear response.Remarkably,high pressure ceiling(<160 kPa) ensures that the sponge could be applied in different practical conditions to monitor a range of subtle human motions including finger,wrist bending,and pulse.For applications,the sensor device can not only detect the foot stepping behavior(0.7 MPa) but also produce an obvious response to an extremely slight paper(9 mg,~0.9 Pa).The successful preparation of this micro-structured elastic sponge material provided new ideas for exploring its potential applications in pressure sensors and flexible wearable electronic devices.Yimeng Ni Lexin Liu Jianying Huang Shuhui Li Zhong Chen Weiying Zhang Yuekun Lai 2022Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,35:0
20CTNNAL1 deficiency suppresses CFTR expression in HDM-induced asthma mouse model through ROCK1-CAL signaling pathway显示文摘The downregulation of adhesion molecule catenin alpha-like 1(CTNNAL1)in airway epithelial cells of asthma patients and house dust mite(HDM)-induced asthma animal models was illustrated in our previous study.It is assumed to contribute to airway inflammation and mucus hypersecretion.In this work,we further explore the underlying mechanism of CTNNAL1 in asthma.CTNNAL1-silenced female mice exhibit a decreased level of cystic fibrosis transmembrane conductance regulator(CFTR),a cAMP-activated and ATP-gated Cl–channel that correlates with mucus hypersecretion.Our previous study demonstrated that ROCK1 expression decreases but ROCK2 expression increases in the lungs of a CTNNAL1-silenced mouse model.Inhibition of ROCK1 leads to a reduction in CFTR expression in CTNNAL1-overexpressing and CTNNAL1-silenced human bronchial epithelial(HBE)cells.It has been reported that ROCK1 is a downstream target of RhoA and that activation of RhoA increases CFTR expression after CTNNAL1 deficiency in vitro and in vivo.The above results indicate that CTNNAL1 regulates CFTR expression through the ROCK1 pathway.In addition,the expression of CFTR-associated ligand(CAL)is increased after CTNNAL1 silencing,and immunoprecipitation results confirm the interaction between ROCK1 and CAL.Inhibition of CAL does not influence ROCK1 expression but increases CFTR expression in CTNNAL1-silenced HBE cells.These data suggest that CTNNAL1 deficiency decreases CFTR expression in the HDM-induced asthma mouse model through the ROCK1-CAL signaling pathway.Di Wu Jiahui Zhu Fang Yang Riwang Li Lexin Liu Dahai Liu Chi Liu Xiangping Qu Huijun Liu Ming Ji Xiaoqun Qin Lan Hua Yang Xiang 2023Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2023,55,10:0
