| 3 | Engineering Geological Study of the Active Tectonic Region for Hydropower Development on the Jinsha River,Upstream of the Yangtze River显示文摘The Jinsha River runs across the Hengduanshan north-south tectonic zone where neotectonism was relatively strong, accompanied by various geologic hazards. In this case, it seems necessary to make a quantitative assessment and grading of the engineering geological environment for the planning and development of hydropower projects on the Jinsha River.The studies of crustal structures and activities of neotectonic fault blocks provide a three-dimensional geomechan-ics model for us to make an assessment of the engineering geological environment. Based on the survey data and results from geologic hazard risk analysis, a hierarchical analysis model on the quality of the engineering geological environment is established with respect to the crustal stability, ground stability, and rock and soil mass stability. Nine factors relevant to the geological environment are selected and five levels are used for the quality grades: very bad, bad, mediocre, good, very good. | 5 | Development of Ti-Al-Ta-Nb-(Re)near-αhigh temperature titanium alloy:Microstructure,thermal stability and mechanical properties显示文摘Mechanical properties and microstructural stability under the service temperature are important to the high temperature titanium alloy.In order to evaluate the potential in increase the service temperature of Ti alloy,two near-αTi alloys with high content of Al asα-stabilizer and Ta,Nb and/or Re asβ-stabilizers were designed and prepared by ingot metallurgy and thermomechanical processing,and the microstructure and mechanical properties before and after thermal exposure at 650℃ for 100 h were characterized.The results indicated that due to the weakβ-stabilizing ability of Ta and Nb elements,only a small amount ofβphase was formed in Ti-10Al-4Ta-2Nb alloy.With a trace Re addition,theβphase was obviously increased in Ti-10Al-4Ta-2Nb-0.25Re,indicating that the Re was a strongβ-stabilizer.Under the same thermomechanical conditions,the Re addition decreased the volume fraction of primaryα(α_(p))phase and refined the secondaryα(α_(s))phase evidently.The primaryαphase presented an obvious core-shell structure in the Ti-10Al-4Ta-2Nb alloy,with higher Al concentration in the shell.While the core-shell structure was not obvious in the Re-containing alloy due to the Re decreases the diffusion of Al,Ta and Nb elements.A large number of orderedα_(2)precipitates can be observed in theα_(p)andα_(s) phases of two alloys.Theα_(2)precipitates continuously grew up during thermal exposure,however,their growth rate in theα_(s)phase of Re-containing alloy were lower than that of Ti-10Al-4Ta-2Nb alloy.Although plenty of orderedα_(2)precipitates formed in the Ti-10Al-4Ta-2Nb alloy,the alloy had a certain plasticity at room temperature.The trace Re addition evidently increased the tensile strength but caused the decrease of the plasticity.After thermal exposure,the strength was further increased,while the plasticity was decreased for both of alloys. | Juan Li Yaqun Xu Wenlong Xiao Chaoli Ma Xu Huang | 2022 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,14: | 1 |

| 8 | Formation and Mechanical Properties of Zr-Nb-Cu-Ni-Al-Lu Bulk Glassy Alloys with Superior Glass-Forming Ability显示文摘Glass-forming ability(GFA) and mechanical properties of(Zr_(0.58)Nb_(0.03)Cu_(0.16)Ni_(0.13)Al_(0.10))_(100-x)Lu_x(x= 0-3 at%) alloys have been investigated.The GFA of Zr_(58)Nb_3Cu_(16)Ni_(13)Al_(10) alloy is dramatically enhanced by adding Lu.The(Zr_(0.58)Nb_(0.03)Cu_(0.16)Ni_(0.13)Al_(0.10))_(98)Lu_2 alloy possesses the highest GFA in the studied Zr-Nb-Cu-Ni-Al-Lu alloys,with its critical diameter for glass formation reaching 20 mm by copper-mould casting method,while that of the Lu-free Zr_(58)Nb_3Cu_(16)Ni_(13)Al_(10) alloy is 7 mm.The critical diameters of(Zr_(0.58)Nb_(0.03)Cu_(0.16)Ni_(0.13)Al_(0.10))_(100-x)Lu_x(x =1 at%and 3 at%) alloys are 15 mm and 12 mm,respectively.The Lu addition to Zr_(58)Nb_3Cu_(16)Ni_(13)Al_(10) alloy induces the change of initial crystallization phases from face-centred-cubic Zr_2Ni and tetragonal Zr_2Ni phases for the Lu-free Zr_(58)Nb_3Cu_(16)Ni_(13)Al_(10) alloy to an icosahedral quasi-crystalline phase for the Lu-doped alloys,which may be the origin for the enhanced GFA of the Lu-doped alloys.The compressive fracture strength and plastic strain of the bulk glassy(Zr_(0.58)Nb_(0.03)Cu_(0.16)Ni_(0.13)Al_(0.10))_(98)Lu_2 alloy are1 610 MPa and 1.5%,respectively. | 赵相金 LIU Wei LIU Li ZHANG Tao PANG Shujie MA Chaoli | 2016 | Journal of Wuhan University of Technology(Materials Science)2016,31,1: | 1 |

| 14 | Ocean-Continent Subduction within the Paleotethyan Archiopeligic Ocean from Mineralogical Evidence of Muztag Ophiolite, Eastern Kunlun Mountain, China显示文摘Former studies show that the Muztag ophiolite, outcropped in the East Kunlun area of Xinjiang, formed in a supra-subduction zone environment. This study is to gain more information about the type of subduction zone. Through field work, thin section observation and microprobe analysis, petrological and mineralogical characteristics of the metamorphic peridotites of this ophiolite are obtained. Although the olivines of metamorphic peridotites appear in three textures of metamorphic relict, metamorphic recrystallizations and orthopyroxene-melting crystallizations by thin-section observations, they have stable and low Fo range of 87.8-89.5 by microprobe analysis. The orthopyroxenes show metamorphic relict and melting relict textures, with a low En of 88-90 and a wide range of Al2O3 content, from 2.90 wt% to 5.13 wt%. The spinels develop anhedral-subhedral textures, with Cr#(=Cr/(Cr+Al)) focusing on two ranges of 0.508-0.723 and 0.100-0.118, respectively. Based on these petrological and mineralogical observations, and combined with the era and tectonic setting for the Muztag ophiolite, it can be concluded that the ophiolite formed in a supra-subduction zone where the oceanic crust subducted down to the continental arc with a thick continental crust, and resulted from ocean-continent subduction within the Paleotethyan archiopelagic ocean in the East Kunlun area of Xinjiang. | Lan Chaoli Li Jiliang He Shunli | 2005 | Journal of China University of Geosciences2005,16,4: | 0 |
| 15 | Effect of Alloying on the Microstructure and Fracture Toughness of Nb-Mo-Si Alloys显示文摘It was found that typical Nbss /Nb5Si3 eutectic lamellar structure formed in the Nb-Mo-Si alloy. The interface between Nbss and Nb5Si3 phases was so strong that the alloy fractured mainly in the cleavage mode. In this paper, the fourth element was added with the aim of modifying interface structure. The microstructural characterization and the fracture toughness of Nb-17Si-10Mo ternary alloy doped with Ga, In, Zn and V, respectively, were investigated. It was revealed that the lamellar structure maintained with the addition of Ga and In, whereas it changed slightly with Zn and V additions.
