| 1 | Effects of grazing on carbon and nitrogen in plants and soils in a semiarid desert grassland,China显示文摘Grazing can modulate the feedback between vegetation and soil nutrient dynamics(carbon and nitrogen),altering the cycles of these elements in grassland ecosystems.For clarifying the impact of grazing on the C and N in plants and soils in the desert grassland of Ningxia,China,we examined the plant biomass,SOC(soil organic carbon),total soil N and stable isotope signatures of plants and soils from both the grazed and ungrazed sites.Significantly lower aboveground biomass,root biomass,litter biomass and vegetation coverage were found in the grazed site compared to the ungrazed site,with decreases of 42.0%,16.2%,59.4% and 30.0%,respectively.The effects of grazing on plant carbon,nitrogen,?15N and ?13C values were uniform among species.The levels of plant carbon and nitrogen in grasses were greater than those in the forbs(except for the carbon of Cynanchum komarovii and Euphorbia esula).Root 15 N and 13 C values increased with grazing,while the responses of root carbon and nitrogen to grazing showed no consistent patterns.Root 15 N and 13 C were increased by 79.0% and 22.4% in the grazed site compared to the ungrazed site,respectively.The values of SOC and total N were significantly lower in the grazed than in the ungrazed sites for all sampling depths(0–10 and 10–20 cm),and values of SOC and total N at the surface(0–10 cm) were lower than those in the deeper soils(10–20 cm).Soil ?15N values were not affected by grazing at any sampling depth,whereas soil ?13C values were significantly affected by grazing and increased by 19.3% and 8.6% in the soils at 0–10 and 10–20 cm,respectively.The soil ?13C values(–8.3‰ to –6.7‰) were higher than those for roots(–20.2‰ to –15.6‰) and plant tissues(–27.9‰ to –13.3‰).Our study suggests that grazing could greatly affect soil organic carbon and nitrogen in contrast to ungrazed grassland and that grazing appears to exert a negative effect on soil carbon and nitrogen in desert grassland. | Hui AN GuoQi LI | 2015 | Journal of Arid Land2015,7,3: | 24 |
| 2 | Effects of dietary alfalfa flavonoids extraction on growth performance,organ development and blood biochemical indexes of Yangzhou geese aged from 28 to 70 days显示文摘This experiment was conducted to study the effects of dietary alfalfa flavonoids extraction supplemental level on growth performance, organ development and blood biochemical indexes of Yangzhou geese at the age of 28 to 70 days. Two hundred and forty 21-day-old healthy male geese with similar body weight were randomly distributed into 4 groups with 6 replicates per group and 10 geese per replicate. Geese in the control group were fed a basal diet and the others in the experimental groups(groups 1,2, and 3) were fed experimental diets supplemented with 150, 300 and 450 mg/kg alfalfa flavonoids extraction(the concentration of it was 81%), respectively. The experiment had 7 days for pre-test and 42 days for formal test.The results showed that the final body weight and average daily intake of group 2 were significantly higher than those of other groups(P < 0.05). The average daily gain of group 2 was significantly higher than that in the control group and group 1(P < 0.05). There was no significant difference in feed-to-gain ratio between each group(P > 0.05). Pre-slaughter live weight, carcass weight, slaughter rate, semieviscerated weight, semi-eviscerated rate, eviscerated weight, eviscerated rate, leg muscle weight and leg muscle rate had no significant difference between each group(P > 0.05). The breast muscle weight and ratio of each test group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P < 0.05) and the group2 was the best. The abdominal fat weight and ratio in the group 1 were significantly higher than those in the control group and group 3(P < 0.05) and the tibia weight in the group 2 was significantly higher than that in the control group and group 1(P < 0.05); There were no significant differences in heart weight,liver weight and the gland stomach weight among all groups(P > 0.05). Spleen weight in test groups was significantly higher than that in the control group(P < 0.05). The bursa weight and muscular stomach weight in the group 2 were significantly higher than those in the control group and group 1(P < 0.05). In serum, total cholesterol, triglycerides, low-density lipoprotein and urea nitrogen in the group 2 were significantly lower comparing with those in the control group(P < 0.05). High-density lipoprotein in the group 2 was significantly higher than that in other groups(P < 0.05). There were no significant differences in total serum protein, albumin, globulin and albumin/globulin among all groups(P > 0.05). Alanine aminotransferase and aspartate transaminase(AST) in groups 2 and 3 were higher than those in the group1 and control group but not obvious(P > 0.05) and alkaline phosphatase(ALP) in groups 1 and 2 was higher than that in the control group and group 3(P > 0.05). It is concluded that alfalfa flavonoids extraction added in dietary feed improve the growth performance, organ development and blood biochemical indexes of Yangzhou geese. | 5 | Discovery of mantle and lower crust xenoliths from early Cretaceous volcanic rocks of southwestern Tianshan,Xinjiang显示文摘In Tuoyun area of southwestern Tianshan, mantle and lower crust xenoliths are present In the volcanic rocks with ages of 101-123 Ma. Mantle xenoliths include mineral megacrysts such as kaersutite and pargasite, feldspar, biotite, and rare pyroxene and rock fragments such as perodotite, pyroxenite, amphibolite, and rare glimmerite. Lower crust xenoliths are mainly banded and massive granulite. The volcanic rocks were produced by within-plate magmatism. Occurrence of hydrous and volatile mineral megacrysts, amphibolite, and some pyroxenite containing hydrous and volatile minerals indicates that mantle metasomatism was intense. | 6 | Geobiological processes of the formation of lacustrine source rock in Paleogene显示文摘Gypsum-salt rocks and coccolith calcareous shale are widely deposited in the lower part of the Paleogene Shahejie Formation in the Dongying Sag,Shandong Province.The gypsum-salt rock is believed to be formed during the earlier deposition in salt lake,while the overlying coccolith shale in saline lake with relatively low salinity.By comparing the lake environment and lacustrine microbial communities between ancient and recent lakes,cyanobacteria are regarded as the main representative of productivity during the formation of gypsum-salt strata series,with the annual productivity of 1500-2000 gC m-2 yr-1.Based on the research of ultramicrofossils in the calcareous shale,coccolith is considered as the main contributor to the productivity during the formation of calcareous shale.On the basis of statistic data of sedimentary rates,shale laminations,and coccolith fossils in each lamination,the quantitative value of productivity is calculated,with the annual productivity of 2250-3810gC m-2 yr-1(averagely 3120 gC m-2 yr-1).Statistic data of large amount of pyrite framboids indicate that the lower water column was persistently in sulfidic or anoxic conditions during the deposition of gypsum-salt strata series,but it changed to be dysoxic when the coccolith calcareous shale was deposited.Both of these water conditions are favorable for the preservation of organic matter.It is estimated that the organic carbon burial efficiency of the Lower Paleogene salt lakes and saline lakes of Dongying Depression is about 10%-15%,which is calculated and analyzed using the multi-parameter geobiological model. | LI GuoShan WANG YongBiao LU ZongSheng LIAO Wei SONG GuoQi WANG XueJun XU XingYou | 2014 | Science China Earth Sciences2014,57,5: | 10 |
| 7 | Silurian to Devonian foreland basin in the south edge of Tarim Basin显示文摘Based on the theory of plate tectonics, combin-ing with the isotopic dating of ophiolite, igneous and volcan-ics, geochemical test, rare earth element analyze and seismicinterpretation, this paper studies the pre-Carboniferous tec-tonics and sedimentary formation of the south edge of theTarim Basin and proves that there exists the Kunlun Oceanunder tensional tectonics during the Sinian and Cambrian inthe south edge of the Tarim Plate. After that, due to the colli-sion orogenesis, there formed the peripheral foreland basinin the south edge of Tarim. | 8 | Meso-Cenozoic Tectonic Events Recorded by Apatite Fission Track in the Northern Longmen-Micang Mountains Region显示文摘There is a cross-cutting relationship between the E-W trending structures and the NE-trending structures in the northern Longmen-Micang Mountains region,which reflects possible regional tectonic transition and migration.Apatite fission track(AFT) analyses of 15 samples collected from this area yield apparent ages varying from 30.3±4.2 Ma to 111.7±9.0 Ma and confined-track-lengths ranging from 10.6±0.3 μm to 12.4±0.1 μm.Four specific groups were identified on the basis of the Track Age Spectrum Calculation(TASC) patterns,i.e.,143-112Ma,93.6-88?Ma,42-40Ma and ~25.6Ma.These age groups correspond to the spatial distributions of datasets and may represent four tectonic events.Together with the regional deformation patterns,the four age groups are interpreted to indicate tectonic superposition,transition and migration during the Meso-Cenozoic with the following possible order:(1) the Micang Mountains belt was dominated by the E-W trending structure during 143-112Ma;(2) the contraction of the Longmen Mountains belt from the NW to the SE during 93.6-88Ma led to the superposition of the NE-trending structures over the E-W trendinding structures;(3) dextral strike-slip shear dominated the Longmen Mountains belt at 42-40Ma;(4) westward migration of the active tectonic belt occurred from 93.6-25.6Ma in a break-back sequence in the northern Longmen Mountains belt.The Late Cenozoic tectonics in the northern Longmen Mountains belt are characterized by the dextral strike-slip shear and the occurrence of westward break-back sequence of deformations.As a result,north-south differences in deformations along the Longmen Mountains belt were intensified since the Miocene time and strains were mainly accumulated in the hinterland of the Longmen Mountains instead of being propagated to the foreland basin. | LEI Yongliang JIA Chengzao LI Benliang WEI Guoqi CHEN Zhuxin SHI Xin | 2012 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2012,86,1: | 8 |

In this method,the elements of truncated cone conformal phased arrays are projected to the tangent plane in one generatrix of the truncated cone. Then two dimensional(2D) Chebyshev amplitude distribution optimization is respectively used in two mutual vertical directions of the tangent plane. According to the location of the elements,the excitation current amplitude distribution of each element on the conformal structure is derived reversely, then the excitation current amplitude is further optimized by using the genetic algorithm(GA). A truncated cone problem with 8×8 elements on it, and a3 D pattern desired side lobe level(SLL) up to 35 dB, is studied. | 12 | Preparation of SiC Porous Ceramics by Crystalline Silicon Cutting Waste显示文摘SiC porous ceramics were prepared at 1 400 ℃ for4 h with crystalline silicon cutting waste and activated carbon as main starting materials and NH_4HCO_3 as the pore-forming agent. Effects of NH_4HCO_3 additions( 0,20%,30%,40%,by mass) on the phase composition,microstructure,sintering properties,cold compressive strength and thermal shock resistance of as-prepared Si C porous ceramics were investigated. The results show that:( 1) addition of NH_4HCO_3 remarkably influences the apparent porosity and cold compressive strength of specimens. The apparent porosity achieves its maximum value( 63. 40%) when 40% NH_4HCO_3 is added,while the minimum cold compressive strength is 4. 77 MPa;( 2) the specimen with 40% NH_4HCO_3 has the best thermal shock resistance. | 13 | The Development Characteristics and Distribution Predictions of the Paleogene Coal-measure Source Rock in the Qiongdongnan Basin,Northern South China Sea显示文摘There are known to be enormous Cenozoic coal-type oil and gas resources located in the basins of the South China Sea,among which the Paleogene coal-measure source rock are one of the main source rock.In order to more effectively analyze the distribution laws of coal-measure source rock in marginal sea basins and guide coal-type oil and gas explorations,the Oligocene coal-measure source rock in the Qiongdongnan Basin were selected as examples in order to systematically analyze the types,development characteristics,control factors,and distribution prediction methods of coalmeasure source rock in marginal sea basins.The Qiongdongnan Basin is located in the northern region of the South China Sea.Previous explorations of the area have determined that the Oligocene coal-measure source rock in the Qiongdongnan Basin have typical'binary structures',which include coal seams and terrigenous marine mudstone.Among those,the terrigenous marine mudstone has been found to greatly expand the scope of the coal-measure source rock.In addition,the coal seams which have been exposed by drilling have been observed to have the characteristics of thin single layer thickness,many layers,and poor stability.Meanwhile,the terrigenous marine mudstone has the characteristics of large thickness and wide distribution.The development of coal-measure source rock is known to be controlled by many factors,such as paleoclimate and paleobotany condition,paleo-structure and topography,paleo-geography,rise and fall of base level,and so on.In accordance with the comprehensive analyses of various control factors of coal-measure source rock,and the changes in water body energy in sedimentary environments,a genetic model of the'energy belt'for the development and distribution of coal-measure source rock was proposed.Also,the development and distribution characteristics of coalmeasure source rock in different types of energy belts were clarified.Then,based on the development and distribution characteristics of coal-measure source rock and their controlling factors,prediction methods of the distribution ranges of coal-measure source rock were proposed from both qualitative and(semi-)quantitative aspects.That is to say,a method for(semi-)quantitative predictions of the distribution ranges of coal-bearing intervals based on model wave impedance inversion and neural network wave impedance inversion,along with a method for(semi-)quantitative predictions of the distribution ranges of terrigenous marine mudstone based on topographical slopes,were introduced in this study. | WANG Dongdong ZHANG Gongcheng LI Zengxue DONG Guoqi SUN Rui GUO Shuai WU Yue | 2021 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2021,95,1: | 3 |
| 14 | Influence of Coanda surface curvature on performance of bladeless fan显示文摘The unique Coanda surface has a great influence on the performance of bladeless fan.However,there is few studies to explain the relationship between the performance and Coanda surface curvature at present.In order to gain a qualitative understanding of effect of the curvature on the performance of bladeless fan,numerical studies are performed in this paper.Firstly,three-dimensional numerical simulation is done by Fluent software.For the purpose to obtain detailed information of the flow field around the Coanda surface,two-dimensional numerical simulation is also conducted.Five types of Coanda surfaces with different curvature are designed,and the flow behaviour and the performance of them are analyzed and compared with those of the prototype.The analysis indicates that the curvature of Coanda surface is strongly related to blowing performance,It is found that there is an optimal curvature of Coanda surfaces among the studied models.Simulation result shows that there is a special low pressure region.With increasing curvature in Y direction,several low pressure regions gradually enlarged,then begin to merge slowly,and finally form a large area of low pressure.From the analyses of streamlines and velocity angle,it is found that the magnitude of the curvature affects the flow direction and reasonable curvature can induce fluid flow close to the wall.Thus,it leads to that the curvature of the streamlines is consistent with that of Coanda surface.Meanwhile,it also causes the fluid movement towards the most suitable direction.This study will provide useful information to performance improvements of bladeless fans. | LI Guoqi HU Yongjun JIN Yingzi Toshiaki Setoguchi Heuy Dong Kim | 2014 | Journal of Thermal Science2014,23,5: | 2 |

| 16 | An IPC-based Prolog design pattern for integrating backward chaining inference into applications or embedded systems显示文摘Prolog is one of the most important candidates to build expert systems and AI-related programs and has potential applications in embedded systems. However, Prolog is not suitable to develop many kinds of components, such as data acquisition and task scheduling, which are also crucial. To make the best use of the advantages and bypass the disadvantages, it is attractive to integrate Prolog with programs developed by other languages. In this paper, an IPC-based method is used to integrate backward chaining inference implemented by Prolog into applications or embedded systems. A Prolog design pattern is derived from the method for reuse, whose principle and definition are provided in detail. Additionally, the design pattern is applied to a target system, which is free software, to verify its feasibility. The detailed implementation of the application is given to clarify the design pattern. | 17 | Blue-White Colony Selection of Virus-Infected Isogenic Recipients Based on a Chrysovirus Isolated from Penicillium italicum显示文摘Mycoviruses have been found to infect more than 12 species of Penicillium,but have not been isolated from Penicillium italicum(P.italicum).In this study,we isolated and characterized a new double-stranded RNA(dsRNA)virus,designated Penicillium italicum chrysovirus 1(PiCVl),from the citrus pathogen P.italicum HSPi-YNl.Viral genome sequencing and molecular characterization indicated that PiCV 1 was highly homologous to the previously described Penicillium chrysogenum virus.We further constructed the mutant HSPi-YNl ApksP defective in the polyketide synthase gene(pksP),which is involved in pigment biosynthesis,and these mutants formed albino(white)colonies.Then we applied hyphal anastomosis method to horizontally transmit PiCV 1 from the white virus-donors(i.e.,HSPi-YNl mutants)to wild-type recipients(i.e.,P.italicum strains HSPi-CQ54,HSPi-HB4,and HSPi-HNl),and the desirable PiCV 1-infected isogenic recipients,a certain part of blue wild-type strains,can be eventually selected and confirmed by viral genomic dsRNA profile analysis.This bluewhite colony screening would be an easier method to select virus-infected P.italicum recipients,according to distinguishable color phenotypes between blue virus-recipients and white virus-donors.In summary,the current work newly isolated and characterized PiCVl,verified its horizontal transmission among dually cultured P.italicum isolates,and based on these,established an effective and simplified approach to screen PiCV 1-infected isogenic recipients. | Tingfu Zhang Na Li Yongze Yuan Qianwen Cao Yanfen Chen Binglan Tan Guoqi Li Deli Liu | 2019 | Virologica Sinica2019,34,6: | 2 |

| 20 | Relationship between heterogeneity of source rocks and genetic mechanism of abnormally high pressure显示文摘Based on the micro-fluorescence observation of polished sections of source rocks,two types of micro-layers with different wetting properties formed in thermal evolution,i.e.,oil-wetting and water-wetting micro-layers,are distinguished.The wetting property is found closely related to the abundance of organic matter and its occurrences with inorganic minerals.The alternating distribution and intercrossing of two types of micro-layers formed many separated spaces with different wettabilities.The strong capillary forces in these separated spaces with different wettibilities obstruct the cross flows of pore fluids and result in nearly independent and closed fluid systems.As a consequence,these spatially superposed spaces in source rocks bear the overburden pressure and then abnormally high pressures have developed in the whole source rock unit.Therefore,the abundance and occurrences of organic matter are the main inner factors influencing the formation of abnormally high pressures,whereas the formation,distribution and development of micro-layers with different wettabilities during the evolution of source rock determine the intensity and spatial distribution of abnormally high pressures. | ZHANG XueJun XU XingYou WANG YongShi SONG GuoQi GUO ChunQing LIU Qing LI Ping | 2013 | Science China Earth Sciences2013,56,11: | 1 |
