2Dopamine D4 Receptor Gene Associated with the Frontal-Striatal-Cerebellar Loop in Children with ADHD: A Resting-State fMRI Study显示文摘Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder(ADHD)is a common childhood neuropsychiatric disorder that has been linked to the dopaminergic system. This study aimed to investigate the effects of regulation of the dopamine D4 receptor(DRD4) on functional brain activity during the resting state in ADHD children using the methods of regional homogeneity(Re Ho) and functional connectivity(FC). Resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging data were analyzed in 49 children with ADHD. All participants were classified as either carriers of the DRD44-repeat/4-repeat(4 R/4 R) allele(n = 30) or the DRD42-repeat(2 R) allele(n = 19). The results showed that participants with the DRD4 2 R allele had decreased Re Ho bilaterally in the posterior lobes of the cerebellum, while Re Ho was increased in the left angular gyrus. Compared with participants carrying the DRD4 4 R/4 R allele, those with the DRD4 2 R allele showed decreased FC to the left angular gyrus in the left striatum, right inferior frontal gyrus, and bilateral lobes of the cerebellum. The increased FC regions included the left superior frontal gyrus, medial frontal gyrus, and rectus gyrus. These data suggest that the DRD4 polymorphisms are associated with localized brain activity and specific functional connections, including abnormality in the frontal-striatal-cerebellar loop. 3Resting state brain default network in patients with motor aphasia resulting from cerebral infarction显示文摘To explore the brain default mode network(DMN)in patients with motor aphasia resulting from cerebral infarction,we used resting state functional magnetic resonance imaging(fMRI)to investigate the possible neural mechanism.Thirteen patients with motor aphasia resulting from cerebral infarction and ten matched controls were selected in this study.All subjects were examined using resting state fMRI.We chose the posterior cingulate cortex as the region of interest and then used functional connectivity analysis to calculate the DMN functional connectivity and analyze differences in the functional connectivity between the two groups.Compared with normal controls,aphasia patient group showed a significantly decreased functional connectivity in bilateral medial frontal gyrus,superior frontal gyrus,middle frontal gyrus,middle temporal gyrus,precuneus and cuneus.The aphasia patient group showed increased functional connectivity mainly in bilateral medial frontal gyrus,middle frontal gyrus,inferior frontal gyrus,precentral gyrus,insula.The DMN in cerebral infarction motor aphasia patients showed significantly decreased functional connectivity in the resting state.The DMN most likely plays an important role in motor aphasia resulting from cerebral infarction.Furthermore,functional connectivity in the brain regions surrounding the left and right Broca’s areas was significantly enhanced due to compensatory mechanisms.This may be helpful for the recovery of language function in cerebral infarction patients with motor aphasia.Xin Wang Meihao Wang Weizhuo Wang Huiru Liu Jiejie Tao Chuang Yang Jiance Li 2014Chinese Science Bulletin2014,59,31:9
4Modelling and simulation of two-bed PSA process for separating H2 from methane steam reforming显示文摘Methane steam reforming is the main hydrogen production method in the industry. The product of methane steam reforming contains H2, CH4, CO and CO2 and is then purified by pressure swing adsorption(PSA) technology. In this study, a layered two-bed PSA process was designed theoretically to purify H2 from methane steam reforming off gas. The effects of adsorption pressure, adsorption time and purgeto-feed ratio(P/F ratio) on process performance were investigated to design a PSA process with more than99.95% purity and 80% recovery. 5Molecular mapping of QTLs for root response to phosphorus deficiency at seedling stage in wheat (Triticum aestivum L.)显示文摘Phosphorus (P) deficiency in the soil is one of the major abiotic stresses that limit plant growth and crop productivity throughout the world. Development of cultivars with improved P-deficiency tolerance is an efficient strategy for sustainable agriculture. Plant roots play an important role in crop growth and development, especially in nutrient uptake and improvement of P-efficiency. Mapping quantitative trait loci (QTLs) for root traits and their response to low P stress at seedling stage will facilitate the development of P-efficient wheat cultivars. In this study, 30 QTLs (LOD>2.0) were mapped for the three root traits, such as root length, root number and root dry matter under different P supply conditions and their response to P-stress. These QTLs were distributed on 14 chromosomes, with each of the 5 QTLs explaining more than 10% phenotype variance. Analyses showed that root traits and their response to P-deficiency were controlled by different QTLs. 7Characterization of glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency and identification of a novel haplotype 487G>A/IVS5-612(G>C) in the Achang population of southwestern China显示文摘The prevalence of glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase (G6PD) deficiency and its gene mutations were studied in the Achang population from Lianghe County in Southwestern China. We found that 7.31% (19 of 260) males and 4.35% (10 of 230) females had G6PD deficiency. The molecular analysis of G6PD gene exons 2―13 was performed by a PCR-DHPLC-Sequencing or PCR-Sequencing. Sixteen inde-pendent subjects with G6PD Mahidol (487G>A) and the new polymorphism IVS5-612 (G>C), which combined into a novel haplotype, were identified accounting for 84.2% (16/19). And 100% Achang G6PD Mahidol were linked to the IVS5-612 C. The percentage of G6PD Mahidol in the Achang group is close to that in the Myanmar population (91.3% 73/80), which implies that there are some gene flows between Achang and Myanmar populations. Interestingly, G6PD Canton (1376G>T) and G6PD Kaiping (1388G>A), which were the most common G6PD variants from other ethnic groups in China, were not found in this Achang group, suggesting that there are different G6PD mutation profiles in the Achang group and other ethnic groups in China. 8Molecular dissection of plant height QTLs using recombinant inbred lines from hybrids between common wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) and spelt wheat (Triticum spelta L.)显示文摘In wheat, plant height is an important agronomic trait, and a number of quantitative trait loci (QTLs) controlling plant height have been located. In this study, using the conditional and unconditional QTL mapping methods, combined with data from five different growth stages over two years of field trials, the developmental behavior for plant height in wheat was dissected. Nine unconditional QTLs and 8 conditional QTLs were identified, of which 6 were detected by both methods. None of the 11 QTLs was detected at all of the 5 investigated developmental stages, but 7 QTLs were detected at certain stages in both years. Further analysis identified 9 unconditional QTLs at different stages, which could explain the phenotypic variation from 4.81% to 17.35%. It was noteworthy that one major QTL designated QHt-4B-2, which was located on chromosome 4B, was detected on May 18 and 25 in both years, and its genetic contributions to plant height ranged from 13.42% to 16.13%. Moreover, of the 8 conditional QTLs identified, six were detected in both years, in the order of QHt-3B→QHt-4B-1→QHt-4B-2→QHt-4D→QHt-5A and QHt-2B expressed at the same developmental stage. 9A MITE insertion into the 3′-UTR regulates the transcription of TaHSP16.9 in common wheat显示文摘Miniature inverted-repeat transposable elements(MITEs) are a type of DNA transposon frequently inserted into promoters, untranslated regions(UTR), introns, or coding sequences of genes. We found a 276-bp tourist-like MITE insertion in the 3′-UTR of a 16.9 k Da small heat shock protein gene(TaH SP16.9-3A) on chromosome 3A of common wheat. Haplotype analysis revealed two haplotypes, s HSP-W(wild type without MITE insertion) and s HSP-M(mutant with MITE insertion), present in wheat germplasm. Both semiquantitative PCR and quantitative real-time PCR analyses showed increased transcription levels of TaH SP16.9-3A in s HSP-M compared with those of s HSP-W after heat treatment at 42 °C. 10Efficacy and safety of repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation for generalised anxiety disorder: A metaanalysis显示文摘Background Pharmacological and conventional nonpharmacological treatments are only moderately effective in treatingeneralised anxiety disorder(GAD).Recently,repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation(rTMS)has attracted interest because of its potential therapeutic value.Aim To investigate the efficacy and safety of rTMS treatment for GAD.Methods Literature studies published in English or Chinese were screened in 10 electronic databases up to 5 December 2018.The included studies'bias risk was assessed using Cochrane risk of bias assessment tool.Meta-analysis was performed to compute the standardised mean difference(SMD)and risk ratio(RR)along with its 95%Cis through using RevMan V.5.3.Heterogeneity was inspected by I2 and the χ2 test.We performed subgroup analysis and meta-regression to investigate heterogeneity.We used funnel plot to assess publication bias.We used the GRADE approach to assess the whole quality of evidence.Results Twenty-one studies,with a total sample size of 1481,were analysed.The risk of bias in most studies included is moderate,the majority of which are lacking of blinding methods of treatment allocation.The treatment had beneficial effects in the rTMS group compared with the control group in mean anxiety score(SMD=-0.68;95%Cl-0.89 to-0.46).None of the 21 studies included here reported severe adverse events.As for dropout rates,there are no statistically significant differences between the two groups(RR 1.14,95%Cl 0.72 to 1.82)or adverse events(RR 0.95,95%Cl 0.77 to 1.18).No particular influence on the heterogeneity of any variable was observed.The risk of publication bias was low.According to the GRADE approach,the evidence levels of primary outcome(treatment effects)and secondary outcomes(acceptability and safety)were rated as‘medium’.Conclusion The use of rTMS combined with medication treatment may have a significant positive anti-anxiety effect on patients with GAD.However,we should interpret the results cautiously due to the relatively high heterogeneity of the meta-analysis.Future high-quality clinical trials are needed to confirm our results.Huiru Cui Lijuan Jiang Yanyan Wei Wei Li Hui Li Junjuan Zhu Jiaoyan Pang Jijun Wang Chunbo Li 2019General Psychiatry2019,32,5:5
11Genetic improvement of heat tolerance in wheat:Recent progress in understanding the underlying molecular mechanisms显示文摘As a cool season crop, wheat(Triticum aestivum L.) has an optimal daytime growing temperature of 15 ℃ during the reproductive stage. With global climate change, heat stress is becoming an increasingly severe constraint on wheat production. In this review, we summarize recent progress in understanding the molecular mechanisms of heat tolerance in wheat. We firstly describe the impact of heat tolerance on morphology and physiology and its potential effect on agronomic traits. We then review recent discoveries in determining the genetic and molecular factors affecting heat tolerance, including the effects of phytohormone signaling and epigenetic regulation. 12Swarming Responsive Photonic Nanorobots for Motile-Targeting Microenvironmental Mapping and Mapping-Guided Photothermal Treatment显示文摘Micro/nanorobots can propel and navigate in many hard-to-reach biological environments,and thus may bring revolutionary changes to biomedical research and applications.However,current MNRs lack the capability to collectively perceive and report physicochemical changes in unknown microenvironments.Here we propose to develop swarming responsive photonic nanorobots that can map local physicochemical conditions on the fly and further guide localized photothermal treatment.The RPNRs consist of a photonic nanochain of periodically-assembled magnetic Fe_(3)O_(4)nanoparticles encapsulated in a responsive hydrogel shell,and show multiple integrated functions,including energetic magnetically-driven swarming motions,bright stimuli-responsive structural colors,and photothermal conversion.Thus,they can actively navigate in complex environments utilizing their controllable swarming motions,then visualize unknown targets(e.g.,tumor lesion)by collectively mapping out local abnormal physicochemical conditions(e.g.,pH,temperature,or glucose concentra-tion)via their responsive structural colors,and further guide external light irradiation to initiate localized photothermal treatment.This work facilitates the development of intelligent motile nanosensors and versatile multifunctional nanotheranostics for cancer and inflam-matory diseases.Luolin Li Zheng Yu Jianfeng Liu Manyi Yang Gongpu Shi Ziqi Feng Wei Luo Huiru Ma Jianguo Guan Fangzhi Mou 2023Nano-Micro Letters2023,15,9:3
13Surfactant-Encapsulated Polyoxometalate Complex as a Cathode Interlayer for Nonfullerene Polymer Solar Cells显示文摘An alcohol-soluble,environmentally friendly,and low-cost surfactant-encapsulated polyoxometalate complex[(C8H17)4N]4[SiW_(12)O40](TOASiW_(12))as a cathode interlayer(CIL)has exhibited excellent universality for various active layers and cathodes in nonfullerene polymer solar cells(NF-PSCs).In particular,incorporating TOASiW_(12) as the CIL enhanced power conversion efficiencies(PCEs)of the PM6:Y6-based NF-PSCs with Al or Ag cathode to 16.14%and 15.89%,respectively,and the PCEs of PM6:BTP-BO4Cl-based NF-PSCs with Al or Ag cathode to 17.04%and 17.00%,respectively.More importantly,the performances of the devices with TOASiW_(12) were insensitive to the TOASiW_(12) thickness from 3 to 33 nm.Furthermore,the NF-PSCs with TOASiW_(12) exhibited better device stability.Combined characterization of the photocurrent density versus effective voltage,capacitance versus voltage and electron mobility demonstrated that TOASiW_(12) as the CIL effectively promoted exciton dissociation,charge-carrier extraction,built-in potential,charge-carrier density,and electron mobility in the NF-PSCs.These findings suggest that TOASiW_(12) is a promising,competitive CIL for NF-PSCs fabricated by roll-to-roll processing.Jing Qiu Yue Zhang Yan Liu Huiru Liu Dongdong Xia Fan Yang Chaowei Zhao Weiwei Li Lixin Wu Fenghong Li 2022CCS Chemistry2022,4,3:3
14Biodegradation of 3,5-dimethyl-2,4-dichlorophenol in saline wastewater by newly isolated Penicillium sp.yz11-22N2显示文摘In this study,the performance of 3,5-dimethyl-2,4-dichlorophenol(DCMX) degradation by a screened strain was investigated.18 S r DNA and the neighbor-joining method were used for identification of the isolated strain.The results of phylogenetic analysis and scanning electron micrographs showed that the most probable identity of the screened strain should be Penicillium sp.Growth characteristics of Penicillium sp.and degradation processes of DCMX were examined.Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy of the inoculated DCMX solution was recorded,which supported the capacity of DCMX degradation by the screened Penicillium sp.Under different salinity conditions,the highest growth rate and removal efficiency for DCMX were obtained at p H 6.0.The removal efficiency decreased from 100%to 66% when the DCMX concentration increased from 5 to 60 mg/L,respectively.Using a Box–Behnken design,the maximum DCMX removal efficiency was determined to be 98.4%.With acclimation to salinity,higher removal efficiency could be achieved.The results demonstrate that the screened Penicillium sp.has the capability for degradation of DCMX.Zhou Yan Huijun He Chunping Yang Guangming Zeng Le Luo Panpan Jiao Huiru Li Li Lu 2017Journal of Environmental Sciences2017,29,7:3
15Altered heartbeat perception sensitivity associated with brain structural alterations in generalised anxiety disorder显示文摘Background Palpitation is a common complaint in generalised anxiety disorder(GAD).Brain imaging studies have Investigated the neural mechanism of heartbeat perception in healthy volunteers.This study explored the neuroanatomical differences of altered heartbeat perception in patients with GAD using structural MRI.Aims Based on the strong somatic-interoceptive symptoms in GAD,we explored the regional structural brain abnormalities involved in heartbeat perception in patients with GAD.Methods This study was applied to the a priori regions using neuroanatomical theories of heartbeat perception,including the insula,anterior cingulate cortex,supplementary motor area and prefrontal cortex.A total of 19 patients with GAD and 19 healthy control subjects were enrolled.We used the FMRIB Software Library voxel-based morphometry software for estimating the grey matter volume of these regions of interest and analysed the correlation between heartbeat perception sensitivity and the volume of abnormal grey matter.Results Patients with GAD showed a significantly decreased volume of grey matter in their left medial prefrontal cortex,right orbital frontal cortex and anterior cingulate cortex.The grey matter volume of the left medial prefrontal cortex negatively correlated with heartbeat perception sensitivity in patients with GAD.Conclusions It should be the first study that shows heartbeat perception is associated with brain structure in GAD.Our findings suggest that the frontal region may play an important role in aberrant heartbeat perception processing in patients with GAD,and this may be an underlying mechanism resulting in the abnormal cardiovascular complaints in GAD.This is hypothesised as a'top-down'deficiency,especially in the medial prefrontal cortex.This will provide the foundation for a more targeted region for neuromodulation intervention in the future.Hui Li Bin Zhang Qiang Hu Lanlan Zhang Yi Jin Jijun Wang Huiru Cui Jiaoyan Pang Chunbo Li 2020General Psychiatry2020,33,1:2
16Efficient catalytic conversion of jatropha oil to high grade biofuel on Ni-Mo_(2)C/MCM-41 catalysts with tuned surface properties显示文摘The activity of Mo_(2) C-based catalyst on vegetable oil conversion into biofuel could be greatedly promoted by tuning the carbon content,while its modification mechanism on the surface properties remained elusive.Herein,the exposed active sites,the particle size and Lewis acid amount of Ni-Mo_(2) C/MCM-41 catalysts were regulated by varying CH_(4) content in carbonization gas.The activity of Ni-Mo_(2) C/MCM-41 catalysts in jatropha oil(JO)conversion showed a volcano-like trend over the catalysts with increasing CH_(4) content from 15%to 50%in the preparation process.The one prepared by 25%CH_(4) content(NiMo_(2) C(25)/MCM-41)exhibited the outstanding catalytic performance with 83.9 wt%biofuel yield and95.2%C_(15)-C_(18) selectivity.Such a variation of activity was ascribed to the most exposed active sites,the smallest particle size,and the lowest Lewis acid amount from Ni^(0) on the Ni-Mo_(2) C(25)/MCM-41 catalyst surface.Moreover,the Ni-Mo_(2) C(25)/MCM-41 catalyst could also effectively catalyze the conversion of crude waste cooking oil(WCO)into green diesel.This study offers an effective strategy to improve catalytic performance of molybdenum carbide catalyst on vegetable oil conversion.Xiangze Du Keyao Zhou Linyuan Zhou Xiaomei Lei Huiru Yang Dan Li Changwei Hu 2021Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,10:2
17Application of a new wind driving force model in soil wind erosion area of northern China显示文摘The shear stress generated by the wind on the land surface is the driving force that results in the wind erosion of the soil.It is an independent factor influencing soil wind erosion.The factors related to wind erosivity,known as submodels,mainly include the weather factor(WF)in revised wind erosion equation(RWEQ),the erosion submodel(ES)in wind erosion prediction system(WEPS),as well as the drift potential(DP)in wind energy environmental assessment.However,the essential factors of WF and ES contain wind,soil characteristics and surface coverings,which therefore results in the interdependence between WF or ES and other factors(e.g.,soil erodible factor)in soil erosion models.Considering that DP is a relative indicator of the wind energy environment and does not have the value of expressing wind to induce shear stress on the surface.Therefore,a new factor is needed to express accurately wind erosivity.Based on the theoretical basis that the soil loss by wind erosion(Q)is proportional to the shear stress of the wind on the soil surface,a new model of wind driving force(WDF)was established,which expresses the potential capacity of wind to drive soil mass in per unit area and a period of time.Through the calculations in the typical area,the WDF,WF and DP are compared and analyzed from the theoretical basis,construction goal,problem-solving ability and typical area application;the spatial distribution of soil wind erosion intensity was concurrently compared with the spatial distributions of the WDF,WF and DP values in the typical area.The results indicate that the WDF is better to reflect the potential capacity of wind erosivity than WF and DP,and that the WDF model is a good model with universal applicability and can be logically incorporated into the soil wind erosion models.ZOU Xueyong LI Huiru LIU Wei WANG Jingpu CHENG Hong WU Xiaoxu ZHANG Chunlai KANG Liqiang 2020Journal of Arid Land2020,12,3:2
18Effects of different aperture-sized type I collagen/silk fibroin scaffolds on the proliferation and differentiation of human dental pulp cells显示文摘This study aimed at evaluate the effects of different aperture-sized type I collagen/silk fibroin(CSF)scaffolds on the proliferation and differentiation of human dental pulp cells(HDPCs).The CSF scaffolds were designed with 3D mapping software Solidworks.Three different aperture-sized scaffolds(CSF1-CSF3)were prepared by low-temperature deposition 3D printing technology.The morphology was observed by scanning electron microscope(SEM)and optical coherence tomography.The porosity,hydrophilicity and mechanical capacity of the scaffold were detected,respectively.HDPCs(third passage,1105 cells)were seeded into each scaffold and investigated by SEM,CCK-8,alkaline phosphatase(ALP)activity and HE staining.The CSF scaffolds had porous structures with macropores and micropores.The macropore size of CSF1 to CSF3 was 421627 lm,579636 lm and 707643 lm,respectively.The porosity was 69.862.2%,80.162.8%and 86.563.3%,respectively.All these scaffolds enhanced the adhesion and proliferation of HDPCs.The ALP activity in the CSF1 group was higher than that in the CSF3 groups(P<0.01).HE staining showed HDPCs grew in multilayer within the scaffolds.CSF scaffolds significantly improved the adhesion and ALP activity of HDPCs.CSF scaffolds were promising candidates in dentine-pulp complex regeneration.Shihui Jiang Zhaoxia Yu Lanrui Zhang Guanhua Wang Xiaohua Dai Xiaoli Lian Yan Yan Linpu Zhang Yue Wang Ruixin Li Huiru Zou 2021Regenerative Biomaterials2021,8,4:2

20Discussion on Spatial Optimization Modeling of Water Resource Conservation Forests and Management Practice of Forest Functions显示文摘According to the unification principle of system structure and system function of the Water Resource Conservation Forests,seven factors were selected from stand spatial structure,trees structure and healthy of woods,the multifunction management optimization model target was confirmed by using nonlinearity multi-objective programming approach, and the target function-stand spatial structure homogeneity index was defined to establish spatial optimization models with restraining conditions set up in diversity of stand structure and spatial structure.The spatial structure of available typical stand in the wet land area in southern Donting Lake was optimized by means of selective cutting and reinforcement planting.The results showed that the spatial structure was improved obviously and trees diversity and stand health were not weakened.It’s suggested that the established optimization model can effectively guide multifunction management,stand structure optimization and the steadiness of ecological ecosystem and it is convenient and operable in practice,and it’s very important to protect and recover ecosystem of Water Resource Conservation Forests.Li Jianjun Zhang Huiru Wang Chuanli Zang Hao Cao Xupeng 2012Chinese Forestry Science and Technology2012,11,3:1
