| 1 | Nonlinear Decoupling PID Control Using Neural Networks and Multiple Models显示文摘For a class of complex industrial processes with strong nonlinearity, serious coupling and uncertainty, a nonlinear decoupling proportional-integral-differential (PID) controller is proposed, which consists of a traditional PID controller, a decoupling compensator and a feedforward compensator for the unmodeled dynamics. The parameters of such controller is selected based on the generalized minimum variance control law. The unmodeled dynamics is estimated and compensated by neural networks, a switching mechanism is introduced to improve tracking performance, then a nonlinear decoupling PID control algorithm is proposed. All signals in such switching system are globally bounded and the tracking error is convergent. | 2 | Coefficient of earth pressure at rest for normal,consolidated soils显示文摘In this study consecutive consolidated isotropically drained triaxial tests for the coefficient of earth pressure at rest(K_0) were carried out to investigate its rules of evolution as well as its strength characteristics for normal,consolidated saturated silt under high pressure.The tests results indicate that:1) for normal,consolidated saturated silt,K_0 values increase as the consolidation stress increases at high pressure levels,while the nonlinear characteristics of K_0 are inconspicuous compared to cohesive soils;2) the Jaky and Roscoe equations,used to calculate K_0,are only suitable for certain soils,but cannot represent these values for normal, consolidated saturated silt due to the variation in bilinear strength at high pressure;and 3) there are close relations between the nonlinear characteristics of K_0 and the void ratio,measured in the tests.Both share the same functional form while under pressure. | 4 | Empirical formulae for electric double-layer repulsion between two arbitrarily inclined clay particles显示文摘To understand the mesoscopic mechanism of clayey soil in view of macroscopic behavior, it is essential to quantitatively calculate the electric double-layer repulsion between arbitrarily inclined clay particles.However, suitable calculation methods with high efficiency and accuracy are still rare at present in literature. Based on a great number of numerical calculations of the repulsion between two inclined platy clay particles, explicit empirical formulae for estimating electric double-layer repulsion between clay particles are put forward. | 5 | Identification and Characterization of Peptides Mimicking the Epitopes of Metalloprotease of Schistosoma Japonicum显示文摘In an attempt to isolate and characterize peptides mimicking epitopes of metalloprotease and explore their immunological protection against Schistosoma japonicum (S. japonicum), polyclonal anti-metalloprotease sera was prepared to screen a 12-mer random peptide library to isolate phages binding specially to antisera IgG. Then,phage ELISA, animal immunization, DNA sequencing, Western blotting and enzymatic activity neutralizing analysis were used to characterize the selected phage clones. All of ten randomly picked clones were shown to be positive. Five peptides of different amino acid sequences deduced from DNA sequences were obtained and two of them (peptides 2 and 3) could induce significant reduction (31.0% and 31.8%, respectively) in worm burden and high reduction (52.6% and 54.9%, respectively) in liver eggs per gram (LEPG), while, unexpectedly, others (peptides 1, 4 and 5) could not elicit enough protection against infection of S. japonicum. Peptides 2 and 3 could be recognized by S. japonicum infected mouse sera (IMS) and could elicit neutralizing Abs. The results show that peptides 2 and 3 are antigenic and immunogenic. | 15 | Vaccination of Goats with 31 kDa and 32 kDa Schistosoma japonicum Antigens by DNA Priming and Protein Boosting显示文摘Two Schistosoma japonicum vaccine candidate antigens Sj 31 and Sj 32, which have shown particular promise to induce protective immunity in mice, were used to immunize goats by using a DNA priming-protein boosting strategy in present work. DNA vaccine formulations of the two antigens (VRSj31 and VRSj32) were produced and injected intramuscularly twice at a 2-week interval and then recombinant proteins (rSj31 and rSj32) together with Freund Complete Adjuvant (FCA) were used to boost the goats. The experiment was repeated in different batche cercariae. A strong anamnestic antibody response was induced after boost. A significant reduction of liver egg counts and miracidial hatching was showed in both experiments. | 17 | Humic acids derived from Leonardite to improve enzymatic activities and bioavailability of nutrients in a calcareous soil显示文摘Understanding the role of humic substances in soils is important for developing and utilizing organic fertilizers or soil amendments for sustainable agriculture.The objective of this study was to determine the effects of different fractions of humic acids derived from Leonardite on enzymatic activities and bioavailability of nutrients in a soil.The experiment was carried out by mixing different factions of humic acids with a soil and incubated for 70 d.The treatments included five factions of humic acids(HS1(low molecular weight),HS2(medium molecular weight)),HS3(large molecular weight,SED(sediment of fractions),HS(mixture of HS1,HS2,and HS3)),raw Leonardite(IM)and a control(no addition of humic acid).Experimental results showed that application of humic acids significantly improved acid and alkaline phosphatase activities,especially with HS1.Humic substances with high molecular weights significantly inhibit urease activity,and the optimal application rate was 600 kg/hm2 of humic substances with the high molecular weights.Concentrations of NH4+-N were decreased with increasing humus applications.All treatments(HSmix,HS1,HS2,HS3,IM,SED)did not affect the soil contents of Ca,although soil concentrations of K,P,Cu,Zn were increase significantly when small molecular weight humus(HS1)was applied. | Qian Sun Jianlong Liu Lianfei Huo Yuncong C.Li Xue Li Liru Xia Zhongkai Zhou Meina Zhang Bin Li | 2020 | International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2020,13,3: | 0 |
