2Suspension mechanism and application of sand-suspended slurry for coalmine fire prevention显示文摘North and west China has abundant coal resources, however, such resources make these regions prone to serious mine fire disasters. Although the copious sand and fly ash resources found in these areas can be used as fire-fighting materials, conventional grouting is expensive because of water shortage and loess particles. A new compound material(i.e., a sand-suspended colloid), which comprises a mineral inorganic gel and an organic polymer, is developed in the current study to improve the quality of sand injection and reduce water wastage when grouting. The new material can steadily suspend the sand, through the addition of a small amount of colloid yielding steady sand-suspended slurry. The process of producing the slurry is convenient and quick, overcoming the shortage of sand-suspending thickeners which need heat and are difficult to produce. The space work model based on the theory of the double-electric layer is established to study the suspended mechanism of the solid particles in the sand-suspended colloid.The dispersion effect of the sand-suspended colloid is demonstrated by the incorporation of the electrostatic effect by the double-electric layer and the steric hindrance effect on the sand particles, ensuring the stability of the colloid system and the steady suspension of sand particles in the sand-suspended colloid.Mechanical analysis indicates that the sand is suspended steadily under the condition that the rock sand particles stress on the lower part of the fluid is less than the yield stress of the colloid. 3Granular porous calcium carbonate particles for scalable and high-performance solar-driven thermochemical heat storage显示文摘Calcium carbonate is promising thermochemical heat storage material for next-generation solar power systems due to its high energy storage density,low cost,and high operation temperature.Researchers have tried to improve energy storage performances of calcium carbonate recently,but most researches focus on powders,which are not suitable for scalable applications.Here,novel granular porous calcium carbonate particles with very high solar absorptance,energy storage density,abrasive resistances,and energy storage rate are proposed for direct solar thermochemical heat storage.The average solar absorptance is improved by 234%compared with ordinary particles.Both cycle stability and abrasive resistances are excellent with almost no decay of energy storage density over 25 cycles nor apparent particle weight loss over 24 h of continuous operation insides a planetary ball mill.In addition,the decomposition temperature is reduced by 2.8%–5.6%while the reaction rate of heat storage is enhanced by 80%–205%depending on the CO_(2) partial pressure.The decomposition process of doped granular porous CaCO_(3) particles is found to involve three overlapping processes.This work provides new routes to achieve scalable direct solar thermochemical heat storage for next-generation high-temperature solar power systems.SONG Chao LIU XiangLei XUAN YiMin ZHENG HangBin GAO Ke TENG Liang DA Yun LI Chuan LI YongLiang DING YuLong 2021Science China(Technological Sciences)2021,64,10:4
4Analysis of the mass of behind-armor debris generated by RHA subjected to normal penetration of variable cross-section EFP显示文摘Analyzing the mass of behind-armor debris (BAD) generated by Rolled Homogeneous Armor (RHA) subjected to normal penetration of variable cross-section Explosively Formed Projectile (EFP) is the purpose of this paper. So theoretical analysis, numerical simulation and experimental data are combined to analyze the influence of variable cross-section characteristic on the time history of crater radius. Moreover the relationships between time history of crater radius (as well as mass of BAD) and the thickness of RHA (from 30mm to 70 mm) and the impact velocity of EFP (1650 m/s to 1860 m/s) are also investigated. 5Distinct proteins in cortex of rats with closed traumatic brain injury detected by a WCX-2 protein chip显示文摘BACKGROUND: Mechanical injury can cause the changes of polygene expression spectrum in rat cerebral cortical nerve cells,and then result in the changes of intracellular protein expression. At present,dielectrophoresis is combined with mass spectrum technique to detect the expression of different proteins in rat cortex after brain injury,but the protein chip technique requires further investigation. OBJECTIVE: To analyze the differences of protein expression spectrum in rat cerebral cortex before and after closed traumatic brain injury using WCX-2 protein chip technique. DESIGN: A randomized controlled animal experiment. SETTING: Training Division of the Medical College of Chinese People's Armed Police Force. MATERIALS: Seventy-two male SD rats of clean degree,350-450 g,were provided by the Experimental Animal Center,Academy of Military Medical Sciences of Chinese PLA. Urea,trifluoroacetic acid,CHAPS and Tris (Sigma,USA); WCX-2 (Ciphergen,USA). Ultra-high speed hypothermia centrifuger (Bechman,USA); Rotary tissue microtome (Keuca,Germany); Biochip processor and PBSⅡ-C protein chip reader (Ciphergen,USA). METHODS: The experiments were carried out in the Institute of Molecular Pathology,Central Laboratory,and Department of Pathology,Medical College of Chinese People's Armed Police Force from June 2005 to March 2006. ① Grouping and treatment: The experiments were completed in molecular pathological institute,central laboratory and pathological department. ① The rats were randomly divided into control group (n =12) and brain injury group (n =60). Marmarou's weight-dropping models were duplicated at different time points in the brain injury group. In the control group,the rats were only treated by incising the skin of head top,without fixing the stainless steel hitting backup plate at the vault of skull,and obtain brain cortex for pathological and protein chip research,and they were killed after 24 hours. The rats in the brain injury group were killed at 4,8,12,24 and 48 hours after model establishment. ② Pathological observation: Longitudinal section was made on cerebral cortex,and sections of 5 μm were prepared,then stained with hematoxylin and eosin (HE). ③ Protein chip analysis: 100 mg cerebral cortex was collected from each rat,and the protein content in sample was detected with Bradford method,meanwhile,WCX-2 protein chip was used to analyze the protein spectrum. The data were automatically collected with Ciphergen proteinchip 3.0 software,and the results were analyzed using Biomarker Wizard software to compare the differences of protein spectrum in rat cortex between the groups. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Results of the pathological observation of cerebral cortex and the protein spectrum analysis. RESULTS: ① Pathological changes of cerebral cortex: In the control group,no necrosis and edema was observed. In the brain injury group,injures of different severity occurred at different time points; After 4 hours,focal or scattered red nerve cells could be observed,the size of some cells was increased,cytoplasm was lightly stained,and only nuclear fragments were seen; After 8 hours,the necrotic nerve cells were increased,and the number of nerve cells was reduced,astrocytes (neuronophagia) could be seen in partial cytoplasm; there was small vascular dilatation,and endothelial cell proliferation; interstitial edema,regional rarefaction lightly stained. After 12-48 hours,the necrotic nerve cells were reduced,and astrocytes proliferated. ② Results of protein spectrum analysis: The WCX-2 experiment found that the expressions of 5 639,3 212 and 7 536 u proteins in cerebral cortex changed after injury in the brain injury group. The peak intensity of 5 639 u protein in the brain injury group at 8 hours after injury was higher than that in the control group (P < 0.05); The peak intensity of 3 212 u protein in the brain injury group at 48 hours after injury was higher than that in the control group (P < 0.05); The peak intensity of 7 536 u protein at 24 hours after injury was higher than that in the control group (P < 0.05). 6An experimental study on pile scour mitigating measures under waves and currents显示文摘An experimental study has been carried out to investigate effects of four flow-altering scour countermeasures placed around a foundation pile under currents only as well as under coexisting waves and currents. The countermeasures are sacrificial piles, downstream bed sill, sleeve and slot in the pile. Their arrangements follow the suggested optimal configurations, with some of them slightly modified. In terms of the evolution of scour depth and bed topography around the pile, the scour countermeasures are evaluated, subjected to steady currents with or without irregular waves. A comparison between maximum scour depth with the countermeasures and one without the countermeasures demonstrates the efficiency of countermeasures. All the tested scour measures reduce the scour depth by 17.6%–42.6% under the action of currents only and 5.8%–24.0% under the combined action of both currents and waves. 8New correlation features for dissolved gas analysis based transformer fault diagnosis based on the maximal information coefficient显示文摘Online monitoring of gases dissolved in transformer oil is widely applied.Improving the performance of dissolved gas analysis(DGA)‐based fault diagnosis methods by exploring new features of time‐series data has become an appealing topic.In this study,a new type of correlation features between characteristic gases was extracted from time‐series data based on the maximal information coefficient(MIC),and a fuzzy inference system was established.After the introduction of the principle of the MIC and a method for calculating the MIC‐based correlation features,the dominant symptom features that can be used to classify fault types were extracted through the receiver operating characteristic curve.Then,fuzzy rules were learnt,and a fuzzy inference system was designed.In addition,to improve the feasibility of the method,the Newton interpolation method was used for adaptation to the existing sampling cycle.The diagnostic results of the test data show that the proposed method has excellent per-formance and outperforms some prevailing traditional rule‐based methods as well as some artificial intelligent methods.The results also show that by exploring new cor-relation features from time‐series data based on the MIC,the performance of DGA‐based methods can be improved.Yongliang Liang Zhongyi Zhang Ke‐Jun Li Yu‐Chuan Li 2022High Voltage2022,7,2:1
9Porous covalent organic frameworks-improved solid phase microextraction ambient mass spectrometry for ultrasensitive analysis of tetrabromobisphenol-A analogs显示文摘Owing to frequent environmental monitoring of tetrabromobisphenol-A(TBBPA)analogs and their potential ecotoxicological effects on organisms,analysis of trace levels of TBBPA analogs with more non-polar and less water-soluble characteristics is of great significance for studying their environmental behaviors and toxic effects.Herein,a fast and sensitive technique is developed for directly detecting aqueous TBBPA analogs,including TBBPA mono(allyl ether)(TBBPA-MAE),TBBPA mono(2,3-dibromopropyl ether)(TBBPAMDBPE),TBBPA mono(2-hydroxyethyl ether)(TBBPA-MHEE)and TBBPA mono(glycidyl ether)(TBBPAMGE),by combining solid phase microextraction(SPME)based on porous covalent organic frameworks(Porous-COFs)with constant flow desorption ionization-mass spectrometry(CFDI-MS).As chromatographic separation is replaced by constant flow desorption,each sample can be analyzed within 7 min.The hierarchical porous structures(microporous,mesoporous and macroporous)of COFs lead to the enhanced mass transfer and the easier accessibility of active sites to TBBPA analogs,so that the extraction efficiency is 2.3-3.6 times higher than pure microporous COFs,and far superior to commercial coatings.The detection limit and quantification limit of this method are 0.1-1 and 0.4-3.2 ng/L,respectively.Ultratrace levels of TBBPA analogs from 5.0 ng/L to 66 ng/L have been successfully detected in river and sea water samples,showing great potential for subsequent studies of their environmental behaviors and toxicological effects.Wei Gao Min Li Yun Fa Zongshan Zhao Yaqi Cai Xiangfeng Liang Yongliang Yu Guibin Jiang 2022Chinese Chemical Letters2022,33,8:1

13A cerium-doped NASICON chemically coupled poly(vinylidene fluoride-hexafluoropropylene)-based polymer electrolyte for high-rate and high-voltage quasi-solid-state lithium metal batteries显示文摘The isolated inorganic particles within composite polymer electrolytes(CPEs) are not correlated to the Li^(+)transfer network,resulting in the polymer dominating the low ionic conductivity of CPEs.Therefore,we developed novel quasi-solid-state CPEs of a Ce-doped Na super ion conductors(NASICON)Na_(1.3+x)Al_(0.3)Ce_(x)Ti_(1.7-x)(PO_(4))_(3)(NCATP) chemically coupled poly(vinylidene fluoride-hexafluoropropylene)(PVDF-HFP)/Li-bis(trifluoromethanes-ulfonyl)imide(LiTFSI) matrix.A strong interaction between Ce^(3+)from NCATP and TFSI-anion from the polymer matrix contributes to the fast Li+transportation at the interface.The PVDF-HFP/NCATP CPEs exhibit an ionic conductivity of 2.16 × 0^(-3) S cm^(-1) and a Li^(+) transference number of 0.88.A symmetric Li/Li cell with NCATP-integrated CPEs at 0.1 mA cm^(-2) presents outstanding cycling stability over 2000 h at 25℃.The quasi-solid-state Li metal batteries of Li/CPEs/LiFePO_(4) at 2 C after 400 cycles and Li/CPEs/LiCoO_(2) at 0.2 C after 120 cycles deliver capacities of 100 and 152 mAh g^(-1) at 25℃,respectively.Tao Huang Wei Xiong Xue Ye Zhencheng Huang Yuqing Feng Jianneng Liang Shenghua Ye Jishou Piao Xinzhong Wang Yongliang Li Xiangzhong Ren Chao Chen Shaoluan Huang Xiaoping Ouyang Qianling Zhang Jianhong Liu 2022Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,10:1

16A cell transcriptomic profile p ovides insights into adipocytes of porcine mammary gland across development显示文摘Background Studying the composition and developmental mechanisms in mammary gland is crucial for healthy growth of newborns. The mammary gland is inherently heterogeneous, and its physiological function dependents on the gene expression of multiple cell types. Most studies focused on epithelial cells, disregarding the role of neighboring adipocytes.Results Here, we constructed the largest transcriptomic dataset of porcine mammary gland cells thus far. The dataset captured 126,829 high-quality nuclei from physiological mammary glands across five developmental stages(d 90 of gestation, G90;d 0 after lactation, L0;d 20 after lactation, L20;2 d post natural involution, PI2;7 d post natural involution, PI7). Seven cell types were identified, including epithelial cells, adipocytes, endothelial cells, fibroblasts cells, immune cells, myoepithelial cells and precursor cells. Our data indicate that mammary glands at different developmental stages have distinct phenotypic and transcriptional signatures. During late gestation(G90), the differentiation and proliferation of adipocytes were inhibited. Meanwhile, partly epithelial cells were completely differentiated. Pseudo-time analysis showed that epithelial cells undergo three stages to achieve lactation, including cellular differentiation, hormone sensing, and metabolic activation. During lactation(L0 and L20), adipocytes area accounts for less than 0.5% of mammary glands. To maintain their own survival, the adipocyte exhibited a poorly differentiated state and a proliferative capacity. Epithelial cells initiate lactation upon hormonal stimulation. After fulfilling lactation mission, their undergo physiological death under high intensity lactation. Interestingly, the physiological dead cells seem to be actively cleared by immune cells via CCL21-ACKR4 pathway. This biological process may be an important mechanism for maintaining homeostasis of the mammary gland. During natural involution(PI2 and PI7), epithelial cell populations dedifferentiate into mesenchymal stem cells to maintain the lactation potential of mammary glands for the next lactation cycle.Conclusion The molecular mechanisms of dedifferentiation, proliferation and redifferentiation of adipocytes and epithelial cells were revealed from late pregnancy to natural involution. 18Electrospun perovskite nano-network for flexible, near-room temperature, environmentally friendly and ultrastable light regulation显示文摘Light regulation devices are essential for signal modulation, information encryption and energy-saving smart windows. Recently, due to their excellent stimuli-responsive properties, lead halide perovskites have shown great potential. However, the high transition temperature, irreversibility of the phase transition and toxicity of heavy metals make perovskite materials unsuitable for devices related to human activity. Herein, for the first time, a flexible perovskite nano-network is proposed and its application as a smart window is demonstrated. The perovskite-sodium alginate(SA) nano-network showed a 31.6 ℃(20% RH) transition temperature and stability over 1200 cycles. The hydrophobic surface and the “eggbox” structure formed by SA make that the lead leakage is only 2.569 ppb, which is much higher than the drinking water standard. 19The Influence of Age on Blood Flow and Temperature of Acupuncture Points: A Study based on Laser Doppler Flowmetry and Infrared Thermography显示文摘Background:To date,there has been a great lack of investigation on the influence of age on blood flow and temperature of acupoints in specific regions.Objective:This study aimed to determine the association between different age categories and acupoint blood flow/temperature on the forearm.Methods:Acupoint blood flow and temperature were measured in healthy adults of different age categories using laser doppler flowmetry(LDF)and infrared thermography(IRT),respectively.A total of 60 eligible healthy volunteers were divided into the young group,mid age group and old age group.All groups received LDF and IRT examination.Shenmen(HT7),Shaohai(HT3),Taiyuan(LU9)and Chize(LU5)of the Heart and Lung meridians on the forearm were selected as 4 test acupoints.Results:Regarding blood flow of the 4 test acupoints,the PU of Taiyuan(LU9)in the old age group was sig-nificantly different compared with that of the young age group(P<0.05)and the mid age group(P<0.05),while there was no significant difference in PU of the other acupoints between 3 groups(all P>0.05).Simi-larly,regarding acupoint temperature of the 4 test sites,the temperature of Shaohai(HT3)in the old age group was significantly different compared with that of the mid age group(P<0.05),while there was no significant difference in the temperature of the other 3 acupoints between 3 age groups(all P>0.05).Conclusion:Age category tends to have notable influence on the blood flow and temperature in specific acupoints in the forearm.Therefore,particular concerns should be taken into consideration regarding the effect of age differences for future studies in this field.Nevertheless,further studies with a large sample size and more test acupoints are needed to further verify current findings.Yajun Zhang Xiaoyu Li Xiaofen He Yongliang Jiang Hantong Hu Jiali Lou Ruijie Ma Yi Liang Xiaomei Shao Jianqiao Fang 2022Clinical Complementary Medicine and Pharmacology2022,2,3:0
20Clinical significance,molecular characterization,and immune microenvironment analysis of coagulation-related genes in clear cell renal cell carcinoma显示文摘Background:Numerous studies have revealed a tight connection between tumor development and the coagulation system.However,the effects of coagulation on the prognosis and tumor microenvironment(TME)of clear cell renal cell carcinoma(ccRCC)remain poorly understood.Methods:We employed the consensus clustering method to characterize distinct molecular subtypes associated with coagulation patterns.Subsequently,we examined variations in the overall survival(OS),genomic profiles,and TME characteristics between these subtypes.To develop a prognostic coagulation-related risk score(CRRS)model,we utilized the least absolute shrinkage and selection operator Cox regression and stepwise multivariate Cox regression analyses.We also created a nomogram to aid in the clinical application of the risk score,evaluating the relationships between the CRRS and the immune microenvironment,responsiveness to immunotherapy,and targeted treatment.The clinical significance of PLAUR and its biological function in ccRCC were also further analyzed.Results:There were significant differences in clinical features,prognostic stratification,genomic variation,and TME characteristics between the two coagulation-related subtypes.We established and validated a CRRS using six coagulation-related genes that can be employed as an effective indicator of risk stratification and prognosis estimation for ccRCC patients.Significant variations in survival outcomes were observed between the high-and low-risk groups.The nomogram was proficient in predicting the 1-,3-,and 5-year OS.Additionally,the CRRS emerged as a novel tool for evaluating the clinical effectiveness of immunotherapy and targeted treatments in ccRCC.Moreover,we confirmed upregulated PLAUR expression in ccRCC samples that was significantly correlated with poor patient prognosis.PLAUR knockdown notably inhibited ccRCC cell proliferation and migration.Conclusion:Our data suggested that CRRS may be employed as a reliable predictive biomarker that can provide therapeutic benefits for immunotherapy and targeted therapy in ccRCC.Weihao Chen Xupeng Zhao Yongliang Lu Hanfeng Wang Xiyou Wang Yi Wang Chen Liang Zhuomin Jia Wei Ma 2024Cancer Innovation2024,3,1:0
