| 1 | Weighted Discriminative Sparse Coding for Image Classification显示文摘In the discriminative sparse coding,the reconstruction residual over each class-specific subdictionary can provide great discriminative and label information. In this paper, we propose a weighted discriminative sparse coding method by using the residual as the weight. For a test sample, we first compute its sparse code over each learnt sub-dictionary, and then use the reconstruction residual over each sub-dictionary to weight the corresponding sub-dictionary, thereby forming a weighted sample-specific structure dictionary, over which we compute a new sparse code for the test sample. This code carries more discriminative information about interclass difference. Our method yields a unique structure dictionary for each test sample, so that samples with the same class labels have more similar distributions of dictionary atom contributions. | 2 | Roles of pre-formed martensite in below-Ms bainite formation,microstructure,strain partitioning and impact absorption energies of low-carbon bainitic steel显示文摘The roles of pre-formed martensite(PM)in below-Ms bainite formation,microstructure,crystallography,strain partitioning and mechanical properties of a low-carbon bainitic steel were investigated using electron-backscattered diffraction,transmission electron microscopy,micro digital image correlation technique and mechanical tests.It is demonstrated that the pre-formation of martensite eliminates the incubation time for bainite transformation at various austempering temperatures below Ms,indicative of its acceleration effect at the early stage of transformation.This effect is mainly attributed to the surfaces or tips of the PM acting as the nuclei of subsequently-formed bainite,with initial bainite tending to form around the PM.However,the finishing time for below-Ms bainite transformation,especially at even lower temperatures,is retarded,owing to the dividing effect of PM on parent austenite grains,the decreasing effect of lowered isothermal temperature on the diffusion rate of carbon atoms and the strengthening effect of lowered isothermal temperature on supercooled austenite.PM and its adjacent bainitic laths have nearly the same crystallographic orientation and belong to the same block.The pre-formation of martensite largely refines the bainitic blocks/laths and retained austenite.The specimens with PM show relatively uniform strain partitioning among various phases,contrasting with the specimens without PM,for which strains are highly concentrated in the bainite region nearby fresh martensite/austenite(M/A)blocks or between adjacent M/A blocks.The impact absorption energies of the specimens with PM,when austempered at 30-60℃ below Ms,are more than twice higher than those of the specimens without PM,at no expense of tensile properties. | Lihe Qian Zhi Li Tongliang Wang Dongdong Li Fucheng Zhang Jiangying Meng | 2022 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,1: | 4 |
| 3 | The Discovery of Magnesioferrite from Au (Fe, Cu) Magnesian Skarn Deposits and Study of the Magnesioferrite-Magnesiomagnetite Series显示文摘Magnesioferrite, a rare metasomatic mineral, was discovered for the first time in China from the Qinlou Au (Fe, Cu) magnesian skarn deposit, Sanpu, Huaibei, Auhui Province, and the Mulonggou Fe (Mo, Cu) magnesian skarn deposit, Luonan County, Shaanxi Province. In this paper, the geological setting, mineral associations, chemical composition, some physical properties, X-ray powder diffraction data and infrared spectroscopy of magnesioferrite and magnesiomagnetite are discussed. Magnesioferrite contains 17.66%-13.48% of MgO. Its main associated minerals are clinohumite, chondrodite, serpentine,, calcite and magnesiomagnetite. The density of magnesioferrite is 4.537-4.720, reflectances in percent are: 17.8-18.1, hardness is 838-900 kg/mm2, and the cell parameter a0 = 8.371-8.379 A. | 8 | Quantification of groundwater recharge and evapotranspiration along a semi-arid wetland transect using diurnal water table fluctuations显示文摘Groundwater is a vital water resource in arid and semi-arid areas.Diurnal groundwater table fluctuations are widely used to quantify rainfall recharge and groundwater evapotranspiration(ET_(g)).To assess groundwater resources for sustainable use,we estimated groundwater recharge and ET_(g) using the diurnal water table fluctuations at three sites along a section with different depths to water table(DWT)within a wetland of the Mukai Lake in the Ordos Plateau,Northwest China.The water table level was monitored at an hourly resolution using a Keller DCX-22 A data logger that measured both the total pressure and barometric pressure,so that the effect of barometric pressure could be removed.At this study site,a rapid water table response to rainfall was observed in two shallow wells(i.e.,Obs1 and Obs2),at which diurnal water table fluctuations were also observed over the study period during rainless days,indicating that the main factors influencing water table variation are rainfall and ET_(g).However,at the deep-water table site(Obs3),the groundwater level only reacted to the heaviest rainfalls and showed no diurnal variations.Groundwater recharge and ET_(g) were quantified for the entire hydrological year(June 2017–June 2018)using the water table fluctuation method and the Loheide method,respectively,with depth-dependent specific yields.The results show that the total annual groundwater recharge was approximately 207 mm,accounting for 52%of rainfall at Obs1,while groundwater recharge was approximately 250 and 21 mm at Obs2 and Obs3,accounting for 63%and 5%of rainfall,respectively.In addition,the rates of groundwater recharge were mainly determined by rainfall intensity and DWT.The daily mean ET_(g) at Obs1 and Obs2 over the study period was 4.3 and 2.5 mm,respectively,and the main determining factors were DWT and net radiation. | JIA Wuhui YIN Lihe ZHANG Maosheng ZHANG Xinxin ZHANG Jun TANG Xiaoping DONG Jiaqiu | 2021 | Journal of Arid Land2021,13,5: | 1 |
