1Intelligent control of mode-locked femtosecond pulses by time-stretch-assisted real-time spectral analysis显示文摘Mode-locked fiber lasers based on nonlinear polarization evolution can generate femtosecond pulses with different pulse widths and rich spectral distributions for versatile applications through polarization tuning.However,a precise and repeatable location of a specific pulsation regime is extremely challenging.Here,by using fast spectral analysis based on a time-stretched dispersion Fourier transform as the spectral discrimination criterion,along with an intelligent polarization search algorithm,for the first time,we achieved real-time control of the spectral width and shape of mode-locked femtosecond pulses;the spectral width can be tuned from 10 to 40 nm with a resolution of ~1.47 nm,and the spectral shape can be programmed to be hyperbolic secant or triangular.Furthermore,we reveal the complex,repeatable transition dynamics of the spectrum broadening of femtosecond pulses,including five middle phases,which provides deep insight into ultrashort pulse formation that cannot be observed with traditional mode-locked lasers.Guoqing Pu Lilin Yi Li Zhang Chao Luo Zhaohui Li Weisheng Hu 2020Light(Science & Applications)2020,9,1:16
2Automatic mode-locking fiber lasers: progress and perspectives显示文摘Polarization control in nonlinear polarization rotation based mode-locked fiber lasers is a longterm challenge.Suffering from the polarization drifts induced by environmental disturbances,nonlinear polarization rotation based mode-locked fiber lasers is difficult in continuously operating under the desired pulsation regime thereby substantially hindering their utilizations.The appearance of automatic modelocking techniques brings the light in addressing this challenge.Combining with various algorithms and electrical polarization control,automatic mode-locking techniques resolve the dilemma of nonlinear polarization rotation based mode-locked fiber lasers.We review the research progress of automatic mode-locking techniques in detail.Furthermore,we comment on the perspectives and potential applications of automatic mode-locking techniques.Guoqing PU Li ZHANG Weisheng HU Lilin YI 2020Science China(Information Sciences)2020,63,6:4
3Porcine FcεRI Mediates Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome Virus Multiplication and Regulates the Inflammatory Reaction显示文摘Porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus(PRRSV) shows characteristic antibody-dependent enhancement(ADE) of infection and causes porcine systemic inflammation, which is similar to a type I allergic reaction; however, the role of porcine FceεRI in ADE is still unclear. In this study, the expression of different Fc receptors(Fc Rs) on macrophages was investigated in a PRRSV 3D4/21 cell infection model in the presence or absence of PRRSV antibody. The transcription level of Fcc II and FceεRI was significantly up-regulated under PRRSV-antibody complex infection. Internalization and proliferation of PRRSV were promoted by the ADE mechanism when FceεRI was expressed in permissive 3D4/21 cells and the non-permissive cell line HEK 293T. Transcriptome sequencing data showed that the expression levels of AKT,ERK and other signal molecules in the anti-inflammatory pathway were significantly increased, especially in the cells infected with the PRRSV-antibody immune complex. Inflammatory regulatory molecules such as PLA2G6, LOX, TRPM8 and TRPM4 were significantly up-regulated following PRRSV infection but significantly down-regulated in the cells infected with the PRRSV-antibody immune complex. 4Fabrication and application of a graphene polarizer with strong saturable absorption显示文摘By transferring 100 nm gold-coated CVD monolayer graphene onto the well-polished surface of D-shaped fiber, we achieve a graphene in-line polarizer with a high polarization extinction ratio of ~27 d B and low insertion loss of 5 d B at 1550 nm, meanwhile achieving a strong saturable absorption effect of 14%. The manufacture of this graphene in-line polarizer also simplifies the graphene transfer process. To explore the potential applications of the new device, we also demonstrate noise-like pulse generation and supercontinuum spectrum generation. By launching the designed graphene device into a fiber ring laser cavity, 51 nm bandwidth noise-like pulse is obtained. 6Key technologies and system proposals of TWDM-PON显示文摘In this paper, key technologies, system proposals and future directions of next generation passive optical networks stage 2 (NG-PON2) are reviewed. We first discuss the potential solutions for NG-PON2 standardiza- tion. Then we focus on time and wavelength division multiplexed PON (TWDM-PON), which is the primary solution selected by Full Service Access Network (FSAN). 10miR-429-3p mediates memory decline by targeting MKP-1 to reduce surface GluA1- containing AMPA receptors in a mouse model of Alzheimer’s disease显示文摘Alzheimer ’s disease(AD) is a leading cause of dementia in the elderly.Mitogen-activated protein kinase phosphatase 1(MKP-1) plays a neuroprotective role in AD.However,the molecular mechanisms underlying the effects of MKP-1 on AD have not been extensively studied.MicroRNAs(miRNAs) regulate gene expression at the post-transcriptional level,thereby repressing mRNA translation.Here,we reported that the microRNA-429-3p(miR-429-3p) was significantly increased in the brain of APP23/PS45 AD model mice and N2AAPPAD model cells.We further found that miR-429-3p could downregulate MKP-1 expression by directly binding to its 3’-untranslated region(3’ UTR).Inhibition of miR-429-3p by its antagomir(A-miR-429) restored the expression of MKP-1 to a control level and consequently reduced the amyloidogenic processing of APP and Aβ accumulation.More importantly,intranasal administration of A-miR-429 successfully ameliorated the deficits of hippocampal CA1 long-term potentiation and spatial learning and memory in AD model mice by suppressing extracellular signal-regulated kinase(ERK1/2)-mediated GluAl hyperphosphorylation at Ser831 site,thereby increasing the surface expression of GluAl-containing α-amino-3-hydroxy-5-methyl-4-isoxazolepropionic acid receptors(AMPARs).Together,these results demonstrate that inhibiting miR-429-3p to upregulate MKP-1 effectively improves cognitive and synaptic functions in AD model mice,suggesting that miR-429/MKP-1 pathway may be a novel therapeutic target for AD treatment.Man Luo Yayan Pang Junjie Li Lilin Yi Bin Wu Qiuyun Tian Yan He Maoju Wang Lei Xia Guiqiong He Weihong Song Yehong Du Zhifang Dong 2024Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2024,14,2:0

12Etiological characteristics of influenza-like illness in Jiangsu province from 2012 to 2016显示文摘Influenza-like illness(ILI)is an acute respiratory infection caused by various pathogens.However,the epidemiologic characteristics of ILI pathogens in Jiangsu province are unclear.To better understand the ILI etiology,the characteristics of the pathogens from nasopharyngeal swab samples of patients with ILI collected from 2012 to 2016 in 6 hospitals in Jiangsu province were studied.The pathogens,including influenza virus,respiratory syncytial virus(RSV),rhinovirus(HRV),adenovirus(ADV),herpes simplex virus(HSV),human coronavirus(hCoV),Streptococcus pneumoniae and Haemophilus influenzae,were detected by real-time PCR.At least one pathogen was identified in 1334 of the patients(40.23%).Among viruses,HRV,influenza A virus(Flu A),ADV and RSV were the most frequently detected.ADV was the only pathogen that was distributed evenly in different years and regions(P>0.05).The etiological distribution varied in different age groups.Streptococcus pneumoniae was the most common pathogen in co-infections with a co-detection rate of 64.57%(319/494).The spectrum of etiologies could help to estimate disease burden and provide guidance for vaccination.Ke Xu Xiang Huo Rongqiang Zu Shenjiao Wang Yuanfang Qin Qigang Dai Xian Qi Huiyan Yu Lilin Chen Lei Hong Yangting Xu Qianhua Yi Weixiang Wang Xuan Wang Wenjun Dai Jie Zha Weining Han Changjun Bao 2019The Journal of Biomedical Research2019,33,6:0
