Converting Co^(2+)-impregnated g-C_(3)N_(4) into N-doped CNTs-confined Co nanoparticles for efficient hydrogenation rearrangement reactions of furanic aldehydes显示文摘The cyclopentanone and derivatives are a class of crucial fine chemicals for various industries and currently produced by conventional petrochemical synthetic routes. Here,we demonstrated a new synthetic approach to directly fabricate N-doped carbon nanotube(N-CNTs)networks with confined Co nanoparticles from Co^(2+)-impregnated bulk g-C_(3)N_(4) as high performance hydrogenation rearrangement(HR)catalyst to efficiently convert a wide spectrum of biomass-derived furanic aldehydes to the corresponding cyclopentanones in water under a record-low H2 pressure of 0.5 MPa and mild temperature. We unveiled a Co-catalysed bulk g-C_(3)N_(4) decomposition/carbonisation CNTs formation mechanism.A new HR pathway was also unveiled. | Dongdong Wang Mohammad Al-Mamun Wanbing Gong Yang Lv Chun Chen Yue Lin Guozhong Wang Haimin Zhang Huijun Zhao | 2021 | Nano Research2021,14,8: | 2

Algorithm Development of Cloud Removal from Solar Images Based on Pix2Pix Network显示文摘Sky clouds affect solar observations significantly.Their shadows obscure the details of solar features in observed images.Cloud-covered solar images are difficult to be used for further research without pre-processing.In this paper, the solar image cloud removing problem is converted to an image-to-image translation problem, with a used algorithm of the Pixel to Pixel Network(Pix2Pix),which generates a cloudless solar image without relying on the physical scattering model.Pix2Pix is consists of a generator and a discriminator. The generator is a well-designed U-Net.The discriminator uses PatchGAN structure to improve the details of the generated solar image, which guides the generator to create a pseudo realistic solar image. The image generation model and the training process are optimized, and the generator is jointly trained with the discriminator. So the generation model which can stably generate cloudless solar image is obtained.Extensive experiment results on Huairou Solar Observing Station,National Astronomical Observatories, and Chinese Academy of Sciences(HSOS,NAOC and CAS)datasets show that Pix2Pix is superior to the traditional methods based on physical prior knowledge in peak signal-to-noise ratio, structural similarity, perceptual index, and subjective visual effect. The result of the PSNR,SSIM and PI are 27.2121 dB,0.8601 and 3.3341. | Xian Wu Wei Song Xukun Zhang Ganghua Lin Haimin Wang Yuanyong Deng | 2022 | Computers, Materials & Continua2022,,5: | 0
Crystallogeny fundamentals of the cholesterol gallstone显示文摘The nucleation mechanism and crystal growth process of the cholesterol gallstone are studied and a systematic theory expounded by crystallogeny is proposed. Normal feed and stone-forming feed were used to raise guinea pigs in the control and stone-causing groups respectively. The state and transformation of liquid crystal vesicles, the appearance of crystal nuclei, and the formation of microcrystal grains were observed under a polarizing microscope during the experimental period. It was found that the liquid crystal vesicles in the bile of the control group were small, scattered, and always existed as single forms, and no shaped gallstone crystals were formed. While in the stone-causing group, liquid crystal vesicles grew to larger ones, and then aggregated to form large liquid crystal cells. Solid crystal growth along the edge of these liquid crystal cells formed microcrystal grains. These demonstrated that bile liquid crystal vesicles form the basic nuclei of cholesterol gallstone. Heterogeneous nucleation is the common process in the formation of crystal nuclei and crystal growth. | Wu Jie Zhou Jianli He Lijun Qu Xingang Gu Lin Yang Haimin | 2007 | Progress in Natural Science:Materials International2007,17,6: | 0
A metal ions-mediated natural small molecules carrier-free injectable hydrogel achieving laser-mediated photo-Fenton-like anticancer therapy by synergy apoptosis/cuproptosis/anti-inflammation显示文摘Tumor microenvironment (TME) plays an important role in the tumorigenesis, proliferation, invasion and metastasis. Thereby developing synergistic anticancer strategies with multiple mechanisms are urgent. Copper is widely used in the treatment of tumor chemodynamic therapy (CDT) due to its excellent laser-mediated photo- Fenton-like reaction. Additionally, copper can induce cell death through cuproptosis, which is a new modality different from the known death mechanisms and has great promise in tumor treatment. Herein, we report a natural small molecules carrier-free injectable hydrogel (NCTD Gel) consisted of Cu2+-mediated self-assembled glycyrrhizic acid (GA) and norcantharidin (NCTD), which are mainly governed by coordination and hydrogen bonds. Under 808 nm laser irradiation, NCTD Gel can produce reactive oxygen species (ROS), consume glutathione (GSH) and overcome hypoxia in TME, leading to synergistically regulate TME via apoptosis, cuproptosis and anti-inflammation. In addition, NCTD Gel’s CDT display high selectivity and good biocompatibility as it relies on the weak acidity and H2O2 overexpression of TME. Notably, NCTD Gel’s components are originated from clinical agents and its preparation process is easy, green and economical, without any excipients. This study provides a new carrier-free hydrogel synergistic antitumor strategy, which has a good prospect in industrial production and clinical transformation. | Wenmin Pi Linying Wu Jihui Lu Xiaoyu Lin Xuemei Huang Zhijia Wang Zhihua Yuan Hailing Qiu Jianglan Zhang Haimin Lei Penglong Wang | 2023 | Bioactive Materials2023,,11: | 0
Oxygen‑Coordinated Single Mn Sites for Efficient Electrocatalytic Nitrate Reduction to Ammonia显示文摘Electrocatalytic nitrate reduction reaction has attracted increasing attention due to its goal of low carbon emission and environmental protection. Here,we report an efficient NitRR catalyst composed of single Mn sites with atomically dispersed oxygen(O)coordination on bacterial cellulose-converted graphitic carbon(Mn-O-C).Evidence of the atomically dispersed Mn-(O-C_(2))_(4)moieties embedding in the exposed basal plane of carbon surface is confirmed by X-ray absorption spectroscopy. As a result, the as-synthesized Mn-O-C catalyst exhibits superior NitRR activity with an NH_(3)yield rate(RNH_(3))of 1476.9±62.6μg h^(−1)cm^(−2)at−0.7 V(vs.reversible hydrogen electrode,RHE)and a faradaic efficiency(FE)of 89.0±3.8%at−0.5 V(vs.RHE)under ambient conditions.Further, when evaluated with a practical flow cell,Mn-O-C shows a high RNH_(3)of 3706.7±552.0μg h^(−1)cm^(−2)at a current density of 100 mA cm−2,2.5 times of that in the H cell. The in situ FT-IR and Raman spectroscopic studies combined with theoretical calculations indicate that the Mn-(O-C_(2))_(4)sites not only effectively inhibit the competitive hydrogen evolution reaction, but also greatly promote the adsorption and activation of nitrate(NO_(3)^(−)),thus boosting both the FE and selectivity of NH_(3)over Mn-(O-C_(2))_(4)sites. | Shengbo Zhang Yuankang Zha Yixing Ye Ke Li Yue Lin Lirong Zheng Guozhong Wang Yunxia Zhang Huajie Yin Tongfei Shi Haimin Zhang | 2024 | Nano-Micro Letters2024,16,1: | 0
