1Ridge subduction, magmatism, and metallogenesis显示文摘Modern oceans contain large bathymetric highs(spreading oceanic ridges,aseismic ridges or oceanic plateaus and inactive arc ridges)that,in total,constitute more than 20–30%of the total area of the world’s ocean floor.These bathymetric highs may be subducted,and such processes are commonly referred to as ridge subduction.Such ridge subduction events are not only very common and important geodynamic processes in modern oceanic plate tectonics,they also play an important role in the generation of arc magmatism,material recycling,the growth and evolution of continental crust,the deformation and modification of the overlying plates,and metallogenesis at convergent plate boundaries.Therefore,these events have attracted widespread attention.The perpendicular or high-angle subduction of mid-ocean spreading ridges is commonly characterized by the occurrence of a slab window,and the formation of a distinctive adakite–high-Mg andesite–Nb-enriched basalt-oceanic island basalt(OIB)or a mid-oceanic ridge basalt(MORB)-type rock suite,and is closely associated with Au mineralization.Aseismic ridges or oceanic plateaus are traditionally considered to be difficult to subduct,to typically collide with arcs or continents or to induce flat subduction(low angle of less than 10°)due to the thickness of their underlying normal oceanic crust(>6–7 km)and high topography.However,the subduction of aseismic ridges and oceanic plateaus occurred on both the western and eastern sides of the Pacific Ocean during the Cenozoic.On the eastern side of the Pacific Ocean,aseismic ridges or oceanic plateaus are being subducted flatly or at low angles beneath South and Central American continents,which may cause a magmatic gap.But slab melting can occur and adakites,or an adakite–high-Mg andesite–adakitic andesite–Nb-enriched basalt suite may be formed during the slab rollback or tearing.Cu-Au mineralization is commonly associated with such flat subduction events.On the western side of the Pacific Ocean,however,aseismic ridges and oceanic plateaus are subducted at relatively high angles(>30°).These subduction processes can generate large scale eruptions of basalts,basaltic andesites and andesites,which may be derived from fractional crystallization of magmas originating from the subduction zone fluid-metasomatized mantle wedge.In addition,some inactive arc ridges are subducted beneath Southwest Japan,and these subduction processes are commonly associated with the production of basalts,high-Mg andesites and adakites and Au mineralization.Besides magmatism and Cu-Au mineralization,ridge subduction may also trigger subduction erosion in subduction zones.Future frontiers of research will include characterizing the spatial and temporal patterns of ridge subduction events,clarifying the associated geodynamic mechanisms,quantifying subduction zone material recycling,establishing the associated deep crustal and mantle events that generate or influence magmatism and Cu-Au mineralization,establishing criteria to recognize pre-Cenozoic ridge subduction,the onset of modernstyle plate tectonics and the growth mechanisms for Archean continental crust.Qiang WANG Gongjian TANG Lulu HAO Derek WYMAN Lin MA Wei DAN Xiuzheng ZHANG Jinheng LIU Tongyu HUANG Chuanbing XU 2020Science China Earth Sciences2020,63,10:3

3Oxaliplatin,Fluorouracil and Leucovorin (FOLFOX) as First-line Chemotherapy for Metastatic or Recurrent Colorectal Cancer Patients显示文摘OBJECTIVE To investigate the efficiency and safety of the oxaliplatin, fluorouracil(5-FU)and leucovorin regimen(FOLFOX)in previously untreated patients with metastatic or recurrent colorectal cancer. METHODS Previously untreated patients with metastatic or recurrent colorectal cancer received 100 mg/m2 of oxaliplatin intravenously(IV)over 2 h on day 1,and IV 400 mg/m2 of leucovorin over 2 h followed by a bolus of 400 mg/m2 of 5-FU.Then 2,600~3,000 mg/m2 of 5-FU was administered by continuous infusion over 46 h. RESULTS An evaluated response rate was determined for 97 of 105 treated patients.The overal response rate was 35.1%,9 patients(9.3%) had a complete response and 25 patients(25.8%)a partial response.Thirty-two patients(33.0%)developed stable disease and 32.0%of the patients progressed.The median time to progression(TTP)was 7.7 months and the median overal survival 20.5 months.One and 2-year survival rates were 68%and 32%.Toxic effects based on the National Cancer Institute-Common Toxicity Criteria(NCI-CTC),reaching grade 3/4 were:neutropenia 12.3%, anemia 11.3%,vomiting 4.1%and diarrhea 7.2%.Grade 3 neuropathy was 5.1%.The overall survival rate of patients who had received a radical resection was superior to the patients who had not received a operation,or had received a pal iative resection(P=0.0658).The serum levels of CEA,ALP and LDH had no relationship with survival(P>0.05). 6Preliminary outcome of rituximab-containing salvage regimens on relapsed or refractory B-cell non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma: single institution experience显示文摘Objective: The prognosis of relapsed or refractory B-cell lymphoma is poor, with a short-term survival after conven- tional second-line chemotherapy. Rituximab, a chimeric anti-CD20 antigen, in combination with CHOP or CHOP-like chemo- therapy may improve both disease free survival (DFS) and overall survival (OS) of naive patients, but its role in the second-line therapy for relapsed non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma (NHL) remains to be defined. This study aimed to evaluate the efficacy of rituximab-containing salvage regimens for relapsed or refractory NHL, and observe the toxicities. Methods: The clinical data of 54 patients, who were with relapsed or refractory NHL and treated in the Cancer Center of Sun Yat-sen University, were analyzed retrospectively. Of the 54 patients, 29 were man, 25 were women, with a median age of 52.5 years old (range 18 to 75); 50 patients (92.6%) scored 0–1 for the ECOG performance status; for second-line international prognostic index (sIPI), 21 (38.9%) scored 0–1, 30 (55.6%) scored 2 to 3, and 3 (5.6%) scored 4–5; 40 cases were diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL), accounting for 74.1% of all subtypes. Rituximab was administered intravenously at a dose of 375 mg/m2 at the day before each chemotherapy cycle. The second or third-line salvage regimens included EPOCH, CHOP, DHAP, DICE, IVAC, IMVP-16 and FND. Results: Of the 54 patients, 49 received retuximab-containing salvage regimens. The objective response rate of the 45 evaluable cases was 68.8%, with a complete remission (CR) rate of 37.7%; 3 patients achieved CR after radiotherapy follow- ing rituximab-based regimens and 3 achieved CR after autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. The most frequent adverse events were leucopenia, nausea and alopecia. The addition of rituximab to chemotherapy only elevated the occurrence of mild infusion-related reactions, such as chills, fever and pruritus. The median follow-up time was 18 months (range 2–86 months); 5 patients were lost, 24 were dead (23 died of lymphoma, and 1 died of severe hepatitis), the other patients remained alive. The median survival time was 32 months (range 2–86 months, 95% confidential interval 16–48 months). The 1-, 2- and 3-year OS rates were 70.6%, 53.6% and 41.5%, respectively. The median TTP was 6 months (range 0–52 months). The median PFS was 10 months (range 0–47 months, 95% CI 0–26 months). The 1- and 2-year PFS were 49.3% and 41.3%. 7Efficacy and safety of obinutuzumab for the first-line treatment of follicular lymphoma:a subgroup analysis of Chinese patients enrolled in the phase III GALLIUM study显示文摘Backgrounds:GALLIUM is a global phase Ⅲ study that demonstrated significant improvements in progression-free survival(PFS)for obinutuzumab plus chemotherapy(G-chemo)vs.rituximab plus chemotherapy(R-chemo)in previously untreated patients with follicular lymphoma(FL).This study aimed to report the results of a subgroup of patients in China.Methods:Patients were randomized to G-chemo or R-chemo.Responders received maintenance therapy for 2 years or until disease progression.The primary endpoint was investigator(INV)-assessed PFS.Secondary endpoints included the overall response rate(ORR)and complete response rate(CRR)at the end of induction chemotherapy,overall survival(OS),and safety.Results:Overall,58 patients with FL were randomized to the G-chemo(n=25)and R-chemo arms(n=33).The INV-assessed PFS rate at 3 years was 81.8%in the G-chemo arm,vs.70.2%in the R-chemo arm(hazard ratio 0.35;95%confidence interval:0.09-1.34;P=0.1120).The INV-assessed CRRs(without positron emission tomography[PET])in these arms were 24.0%and 21.2%,respectively,whereas the ORRs were 80.0%and 90.9%,respectively.INV-assessed CRR-PET was 52.6%in the G-chemo,vs.60.9%in the R-chemo.Median OS was not reached in either arm.Grade 3 to 5 adverse events were more frequent in the R-chemo arm(97.0%vs.88.0%).Conclusions:The results of this subgroup analysis were consistent with those of the global population,and they suggest that G-chemo has a positive benefit-risk profile in patients from China with FL.Trial registration:ClinicalTrials.gov,No.NCT01332968.Xiaonan Hong Yuqin Song Yuankai Shi Qingyuan Zhang Wei Guo Gang Wu Junmin Li Jifeng Feng Anastasiia Kinkolykh Andrea Knapp Tongyu Lin 2022Chinese Medical Journal2022,,4:1
8Modified R-CODOX-M/IVAC chemotherapy regimens in Chinese patients with untreated sporadic Burkitt lymphoma显示文摘Objective:To characterize modified R-CODOX-M/IVAC-based chemotherapy to lower the severe adverse events in Chinese adult patients with sporadic Burkitt lymphoma.Methods:We enrolled a retrospective cohort including 123 adult patients with untreated sporadic Burkitt lymphoma from August 2008 to September 2019 at Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center.We studied a dose-modified and long-course R-CODOX-M/IVAC regimen utilizing a low dose of 1.0 g/m2/cycle cyclophosphamide,2 g/m2/cycle methotrexate,4,500 mg/m2/cycle ifosfamide,and 4.0 g/m2/cycle cytarabine.Forty-nine patients with low risk disease underwent 4–6 cycles of dose-modified R-CODOX-M-based chemotherapy.Seventy-four patients with high risk disease underwent 6–8 cycles of dose-modified alternating R-CODOX-M/IVAC regimens.Results:The objective remission was 87.0%.The event-free survival rate and overall survival at 3 years were 81.2%and 92.1%,respectively.Major grade 3–4 adverse events included leukopenia(91.9%),anemia(58.5%),thrombocytopenia(73.2%),and febrile neutropenia(48.8%).A total of 26.0%and 37.4%of patients received red blood cell and platelet transfusions,respectively.We observed 4 cases(3.3%)of septic shock after chemotherapy.Two treatment-related deaths occurred from severe infection.Conclusions:The modified R-CODOX-M/IVAC chemotherapy regimen was effective for sporadic Burkitt lymphoma in the Chinese population,with a lower toxicity than standard regimens.Meiting Chen Zhao Wang Xiaojie Fang Yuyi Yao Quanguang Ren Zegeng Chen Ying Tian Fei Pan Xiaoqian Li Zhiming Li Qingqing Cai He Huang Tongyu Lin 2021Cancer Biology & Medicine2021,18,3:0
9Natural scaffolds-inspired synthesis of CF_(3)-substituted macrolides enabled by Rh-catalyzed C–H alkylation macrocyclization显示文摘The development of innovative strategies and methods to provide natural product-like macrocycles not accessible by biosynthesis, but endowed with novel bioactivities and simplified structure, is highly desirable. Inspired by the key scaffolds of rapamycin and FR252921, herein, we report a Rh(III)-catalyzed C–H alkylation macrocyclization, which enables access to CF_(3)-substituted macrolides. DFT calculations reveal that the chemoselectivity between C–H alkylation and olefination macrocyclization was highly controllable. 11Design of luminescence in(Sr,Gd)Li(Al,Mg)_(3)N_(4):Eu^(2+)deep red phosphors via crystal field engineering for full-spectrum WLEDs显示文摘Red phosphor,with longer wavelength,is highly desirable for full-spectrum WLEDs.Targeted deep red phosphors(Sr,Gd)Li(AI,Mg)_(3)N_(4):Eu^(2+)were designed from the initial model of SrLiAl_(3)N_(4):Eu^(2+)by structural modification.The correlations among structural evolution,crystal-field environment,and luminescence properties were elucidated.Replacing Sr^(2+)with Gd^(3+)in(Sr,Gd)LiAl_(3)N_(4):Eu^(2+)leads to the enhanced crystal field splitting,larger Stokes shift,and increased structural polyhedron distortion differences,consequently resulting in spectral red-shift and broadening.For further spectral tuning,Mg,with lower electronegativity,was also introduced to modify the local crystal structure,consequently resulting in a further red-shift towards 675 nm and enhanced photoluminescence intensity in(Sr,Gd)Li(AI,Mg)_(3)N_(4):Eu^(2+).What’s more,w-LEDs were fabricated by using blue LED chip,blue,green,red and deep red((Sr,Gd)Li(Al,Mg)_(3)N_(4):Eu^(2+))phosphors whose color rendering index were Ra 96.0 and R997.7.All above results demonstrate that the partial replacements of Sr^(2+)by Gd^(3+)and Al^(3+)by Mg^(2+)are effective methods for spectral modulation and(Sr,Gd)Li(AI,Mg)_(3)N_(4):Eu^(2+)phosphors are suitable for highquality full-spectrum WLEDs.Qing Lin Tongyu Gao Yuanhong Liu Ronghui Liu Siwei Chen Xiaole Ma Chunlei Zhao 2023Journal of Rare Earths2023,41,8:0
