1Two-dimensional MXenes for lithium-sulfur batteries显示文摘Rechargeable lithium-sulfur(Li-S)batteries have attracted significant research attention due to their high capacity and energy density.However,their commercial applications are still hindered by challenges such as the shuttle effect of soluble lithium sulfide species,the insulating nature of sulfur,and the fast capacity decay of the electrodes.Various efforts are devoted to address these problems through questing more conductive hosts with abundant polysulfide chemisorption sites,as well as modifying the separators to physically/chemically retard the polysulfides migration.Two dimensional transition metal carbides,carbonitrides and nitrides,so-called MXenes,are ideal for confining the polysulfides shuttling effects due to their high conductivity,layered structure as well as rich surface terminations.As such,MXenes have thus been widely studied in Li-S batteries,focusing on the conductive sulfur hosts,polysulfides interfaces,and separators.Therefore,in this review,we summarize the significant progresses regarding the design of multifunctional MXene-based Li-S batteries and discuss the solutions for improving electrochemical performances in detail.In addition,challenges and perspectives of MXenes for Li-S batteries are also outlined.Chuanfang(John)Zhang Linfan Cui Sina Abdolhosseinzadeh Jakob Heier 2020InfoMat2020,2,4:16
2Effect of Mesoscale Land Use Change on Characteristics of Convective Boundary Layer:Semi-Idealized Large Eddy Simulations over Northwest China显示文摘Although large-scale topography and land use have been properly considered in weather and climate models, the effect of mesoscale and microscale heterogeneous land use on convective boundary layer(CBL) has not been fully understood yet. In this study, the influence of semi-idealized strip-like patches of oases and deserts, which resemble irrigated land use in Northwest China, on the CBL characteristics, is investigated based on the Weather Research and Forecasting(WRF)-large eddy simulation(LES) driven by observed land surface data. The influences of soil water content in oases on aloft CBL flow structure, stability, turbulent kinetic energy(TKE), and vertical fluxes are carefully examined through a group of sensitivity experiments. The results show that secondary circulation(SC)/turbulent organized structures(TOS) is the strongest/weakest when soil water content in oases is close to saturation(e.g.,when the oases are irrigated). With the decrease of soil water content in oases(i.e., after irrigation), SC(TOS) becomes weak(strong) in the lower and middle CBL, the flux induced by SC and TOS becomes small(large), which has a dramatic impact on point measurement of eddy covariance(EC) fluxes. The flux induced by SC and TOS has little influence on EC sensible heat flux, but great influence on EC latent heat flux. Under this circumstance, the area averaged heat flux cannot be represented by point measurement of flux by the EC method, especially just after irrigation in oases. Comparison of imbalance ratio(i.e., contribution of SC and TOS to the total flux) reveals that increased soil moisture in oases leads to a larger imbalance ratio as well as enhanced surface heterogeneity. 3Radiation induced graft polymerization of multi-walled carbon nanotubes for superhydrophobic composite membrane preparation显示文摘Highly soluble multi-walled carbon nanotubes(MWNTs) were prepared by radiation-induced free radical graft polymerization of vinyl acetate(VAc) onto pristine MWNT surfaces. High resolution transmission electron microscopy(HR-TEM), Fourier transform infrared(FTIR) spectroscopy, and micro-Raman spectroscopy were used to confirm that poly(vinyl acetate)(PVAc) had been successfully grafted onto the surface of the MWNTs. The effects of experimental parameters on the degree of grafting(DG) of PVAc were also investigated, including adsorbed dose, dose rate, initial monomer concentration, and solvents. The grafted MWNTs(MWNTs-g-PVAc) exhibited good solubility in common organic solvents at high mass fraction. 4High-selective removal of ultra-low level mercury ions from aqueous solution using oligothymonucleic acid functionalized polyethylene film显示文摘We prepare oligothymonucleic acid (OTA) functionalized polyethylene (PE) film and evaluate its selective removal ability of mercury ions at ultra-low levels in aqueous solution. The selective binding of OTA with mercury ions is confirmed by fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH). 10ORGANO-SOLUBLE FLUORINATED POLYIMIDES DERIVED FROM α,α-BIS(4-AMINO-3,5-DIMETHYLPHENYL)-4'-FLUOROPHENYL METHANE AND VARIOUS AROMATIC DIANHYDRIDES显示文摘Organo-soluble fluorinated polyimides were synthesized by the polycondensation of a new aromatic diamine α,αbis(4-amino-3,5-dimethylphenyl)-4'-fluorophenyl methane with several aromatic dianhydrides. The one-step polymerization polyimides could be soluble not only in polar aprotic solvents, such as N-methyl-2-pyrrolidinone, and N,Ndimethylacetamide, but also in common organic solvents, such as chloroform, cyclopentanone, m-cresol and so on. The polyimide films show excellent transparency with the UV-Vis cut-off lengths of 310-360 nm and light transmittances of higher than 80% in the visible region. 11SYNTHESIS AND CHARACTERIZATION OF ORGANO-SOLUBLE FLUORINATED POLYIMIDES FROM 4,4'-BIS(3-AMINO-5-TRIFLUOROMETHYLPHENOXY)-BIPHENYL AND VARIOUS AROMATIC DIANHYDRIDES显示文摘An aromatic diamine monomer, 4,4'-bis(3-amino-5-trifluoromethyl phenoxy)-biphenyl (TFBPDA), was synthesized via the nucleophilic displacement reaction of 3,5-dinitrobenzotrifluoride and 4,4'-biphenol. The monomer was reacted with various aromatic dianhydrides via the high temperature polycondensation procedure to provide a series of polyimides. The polyimides, PI-1 to PI-4, show good solubility not only in aprotic solvents, such as N-methyl-2-pyrrolidinone and N,N-dimethylacetamide, but also in many common solvents, such as m-cresol, chloroform and cyclopentanone. PI-4, derived from 4,4'-(hexafluoroisopropylidene)diphthalic anhydride and TFBPDA, was even soluble in toluene. Moreover, PI films exhibit good thermal stability, outstanding transparency in the visible light region and acceptable mechanical and electrical properties. 184-5 Dielectronic Recombination of Li-like Argon Ions at the CSRm显示文摘The main cooler storage ring (CSRm) equipped with an electron-cooler creates an ideal platform for dielectronicrecombination (DR) experiments. In order to fully understand our DR experimental setup and especially the electronenergy detuning system, we have performed a DR calibration experiment using the Li-like argon ions at theCSRm. The Ar15+ has a simple electronic structure so the DR spectrum can be calculated with an ultra-highprecision and compared with the existing experimental data. 19储存环CSRm上的类硼Ar^(13+)离子的低能双电子复合实验研究显示文摘Based on the successful dielectronic recombination(DR)experiments with intermediate charge state ions of Belike Ar^(14+[1]) and Ca^(16+[2]) at the CSRm,we are preparing the precision spectroscopy of DR experiments with highly charged ions and even radioactive ions at the CSRe.A test electron-ion recombination experiment of Boron-like Ar13+ions was performed with a section of the new electron beam energy detuning system,which will be installed at the CSRe.Fig.1 presents the measured and also the calculated DR spectra for B-like Ar^(13+) from 0 to 3 eV.The experimental result indicates that the new detuning system is more stable and has a higher energy resolution than the previous detuning system used at the CSRm.It paves the way for the upcoming DR experiments with highly charged heavy ions at the CSRe.In addition,the flexible atomic code(FAC)was employed to calculate the DR resonance strengths of Boron-like Ar^(13+) to compare with the experimental result.Huang Zhongkui Wen Weiqiang Wang Shuxing Li Shuang Wang Hanbing Nadir Khan Dou Lijun Zhu Xiaolong Mao Lijun Li Jie Ma Xiaoming Yin Dayu Mao Ruishi Yuan Youjin Yang Jiancheng Chen Chongyang Zhu Linfan Ma Xinwen 2018IMP & HIRFL Annual Report2018,,1:0
