1Construction of multiple interfaces and dielectric/magnetic heterostructures in electromagnetic wave absorbers with enhanced absorption performance:A review显示文摘The construction of structures with multiple interfaces and dielectric/magnetic heterostructures enables the design of materials with unique physical and chemical properties,which has aroused intensive interest in scientific and technological fields.Especially,for electromagnetic(EM)wave absorption,enhanced interface polarization and improved impedence match with high Snoek's limitation could be achieved by multiple interfaces and dielectric/magnetic heterostructures,respectively,which are benificial to high-efficiency electromagnetic wave absorption(EWA).However,by far,the principles in the design or construction of structures with multiple interfaces and dielectric/magnetic heterostructures,and the relationships between those structures or heterostructures and their EWA performance have not been fully summarized and reviewed.This article aims to provide a timely review on the research progresses of high-efficency EM wave absorbers with multiple interfaces and dielectric/magnetic heterostructures,focusing on various promising EWA materials.Particularly,EM attenuation mechanisms in those structures with multiple interfaces and dielectric/magnetic heterostructures are discussed and generalized.Furthermore,the changllenges and future developments of EM wave absorbers based on those structures are proposed.Junye Cheng Huibin Zhang Yingfei Xiong Lingfeng Gao Bo Wen Hassan Raza Hao Wang Guangping Zheng Deqing Zhang Han Zhang 2021Journal of Materiomics2021,7,6:7
2Factors regulating population dynamics of the amphipod Ampithoe valida in a eutrophic subtropical coastal lagoon显示文摘Year-round investigations were carried out to address the population dynamics of amphipod Ampithoe valida and its potential regulating factors in the Yundang Lagoon (a eutrophic subtropical coastal lagoon in Xiamen City, China) from October 2007 to October 2008. The results show that A. valida population was largely composed of juveniles and reached a peak abundance (12.02 × 10 3 ind./m2 ) in March, but sharply shrunk in July. The monthly variation pattern of A. valida seemed to follow that of Ulva lactuca which is the main food resource for A. valida, indicating a strong influence of food availability on A. valida population dynamics. Life cycle studies in laboratory indicate that A. valida adopted an r-selected life strategy, e.g., rapid growth rate (0.216-0.302 mm/d), consecutive breeding (4-10 times), short reproductive rhythm (9-17 d) and huge fecundity (24-192 eggs or 6-94 juveniles per brood), which contributed to the fast population growth of A. valida from January to March. Although temperature may also be a significant cause, A. valida could grow quickly and show normal reproductive traits (i.e., the timing of sexual differentiation or maturity, the reproductive rhythm, the number of broods all through its lifespan and offspring production) in temperature between 15-30 C. Therefore, the temperature variation in the lagoon water should not account for the sharp variation of A. valida population by affecting the survival, growth and reproduction of the amphipod. However, negative correlation between water temperature and U. lactuca biomass in the lagoon suggested that temperature could have indirectly affected the population dynamics of A. valida by affecting its food availability. 3Amphipods fail to suppress the accumulation of Ulva lactuca biomass in eutrophic Yundang Lagoon显示文摘The Gross growth efficiency(GGE) is defined as the amount of consumer carbon produced relative to the amount of prey ingested in a given time interval. In population ecology, it can be considered as an index for the ability of a consumer to convert the biomass of food into its population production. In this study, it was firstly applied to estimate the role of amphipods grazing in the biomass dynamics of macroalgae(Ulva lactuca) in Yundang Lagoon(a subtropical eutrophic coastal lagoon, Xiamen City, China). It was found that amphipods were the dominant group(82.2%–98.7%) in the benthic assemblage, in which five amphipod species(Corophium uenoi, Ampithoe valida, Grandidierella japonica, Grammaropsis laevipalmata and Caprella panantis) were observed in the lagoon. However, only A. valida significantly consumed U. lactuca among these amphipod species. A series of experiments were conducted to estimate the consumption of U. lactuca by A. valida. It was suggested that the monthly secondary production(P) of A. valida using size frequency method ranged from 2.39 to 13.68 g/m2. GGE of A. valida exponentially reduced with body size and was closely associated with water temperature. Therefore, GGE equation for different months using the temperature recorded during the field investigation was fitted. The monthly consumption of U. lactuca was figured out to be 86.7–1 549.0 g/m2 by the sum of consumption(P/GGE) by A. valida at different size, accounting for 2.0%–37.5% of U. lactuca production. It indicates that the grazing effect of A. valida did play a role in reducing the accumulation of U. lactuca biomass when A. valida was abundant, but it finally fails to limit the U. lactuca growth in Yundang Lagoon. 4来源于人膀胱癌细胞株EJ的HSP70负载的DC所激发的特异性CTL细胞的体外应答效应(英文)显示文摘Objective: To investigate whether human dendritic cells (DC) derived from peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC), which were pulsed by heat shock protein 70 (HSP70) isolated from human bladder tumor cell lines of EJ, were able to induce peptide specific cytotoxic T-lymphocytes (CTL) response in vitro and give the experimental foundation for the future clinical trials of immunotherapy in bladder tumor. Methods: The EJ-derived HSP70 co-cultured with DC from the healthy volunteers' PBMC, along with the crude lysate (the supernatant before HSP70 purification) from EJ cells were used as the experimental groups and DC not pulsed by any tumor cells antigen were the blank control. The autologous T-lymphocytes were added into the above various DC groups, and after incubation, the stimulation indexes (SI) and interferon-γ (IFN-γ) were detected to evaluate the immune activities of various DC groups. The killing effects of CTL to target cells, EJ and Hela cells, were determined with 51Cr releasing test. Results: Both DC/HSP70 and DC/the crude lysate could effectively activate CTL in vitro and kill target cells EJ. The killing effect of DC/HSP70 to EJ was much stronger than DC/the crude lysate (the supernatant before HSP70 purification) (P < 0.05). DC without any tumor cell antigens had a lower killing power to EJ. Meanwhile, DC/ HSP70 had little killing power to Hela non-relevant to bladder tumor histopathologically as compared with EJ cells (P < 0.05). 5Two‑Dimensional Black Phosphorus Nanomaterials:Emerging Advances in Electrochemical Energy Storage Science显示文摘Two-dimensional black phosphorus(2D BP),well known as phosphorene,has triggered tremendous attention since the first discovery in 2014.The unique puckered monolayer structure endows 2D BP intriguing properties,which facilitate its potential applications in various fields,such as catalyst,energy storage,sensor,etc.Owing to the large surface area,good electric conductivity,and high theoretical specific capacity,2D BP has been widely studied as electrode materials and significantly enhanced the performance of energy storage devices.With the rapid development of energy storage devices based on 2D BP,a timely review on this topic is in demand to further extend the application of 2D BP in energy storage.In this review,recent advances in experimental and theoretical development of 2D BP are presented along with its structures,properties,and synthetic methods.Particularly,their emerging applications in electrochemical energy storage,including Li−/K−/Mg−/Na-ion,Li–S batteries,and supercapacitors,are systematically summarized with milestones as well as the challenges.Benefited from the fast-growing dynamic investigation of 2D BP,some possible improvements and constructive perspectives are provided to guide the design of 2D BP-based energy storage devices with high performance.Junye Cheng Lingfeng Gao Tian Li Shan Mei Cong Wang Bo Wen Weichun Huang Chao Li Guangping Zheng Hao Wang Han Zhang 2020Nano-Micro Letters2020,12,12:1

7Tensile and Fracture Behavior of DZ68 Ni-base Superalloy显示文摘The tensile and fracture behavior of DZ68 directionally solidified Ni-base superalloy was studied in the temperature range of room temperature (RT) to 1000°C. The fracture mode was examined by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The results show the tensile strength and yield strength of DZ68 alloy increase slightly with increasing temperature, so that at 760°C its reach maxima value: 1214 and 1019 MPa, respectively. When the experimental temperature is higher than 760°C, the tensile and yield strengths decrease evidently and the ductility increases remarkably. The fractograph of fracture surface for the tensile specimen at room temperature shows a dimple-ductile fracture mode. The fractograph from 760 to 850°C shows a slide fracture mode. 8Sensitizing effect of Nd^(3+) on Tb^(3+) activated ZrP_(2)O_(7) long persistent phosphor materials显示文摘The long persistent phosphors of Zr_(0.97)P_(2)O_(7):0.018 Tb^(3+),0.012 Nd^(3+)with Nd^(3+)as sensitized ions and Tb^(3+)as emission centers were synthesized using high temperature solid state reaction.The crystal structure and defects,excitation and emission spectra,decay curves and thermoluminescence(TL) curves of the phosphors were investigated.The synthesized Zr_(0.97)P_(2)O_(7):0.018 Tb^(3+),0.012 Nd^(3+)is essentially in line with the standard card PDF#49-1079.The emission band with main peak at 548 nm exhibits the characteristic transitions of ^(5)D_(3)-^(7)F_(j)(j=5,4) and ^(5)D_(3)-^(7)F_(j)(j=6,5,4,3) of Tb^(3+).The analysis of excitation and emission spectra shows that there exists the overlap between the emission peaks of Nd^(3+)at 466 and 485 nm and the excitation of Tb^(3+)at 443 and 485 nm,and the energy transfer from Nd^(3+)to Tb^(3+)plays an important role in the improvement of luminescence properties.The decay curves shows that Zr_(0.97)P_(2)O_(7):0.018 Tb^(3+),0.012 Nd^(3+)has longer afterglow time than ZrP_(2)O_(7) and Zr_(0.982)P_(2)O_(7):0.018 Tb^(3+).Additionally,the TL curves indicate that the trap depth at 0.72 eV in Zr_(0.97)P_(2)O_(7):0.018 Tb^(3+),0.012 Nd^(3+)is to the benefit of the afterglow time.The possible luminescence mechanism of ZrP_(2)O_(7):Tb^(3+),Nd^(3+)is proposed on the basis of the XPS spectra,EPR spectra,excitation and emission spectra,decay curves,TL curves and the analysis of defect equations.Meihua Wu Wen Chen Siyuan Liu Yichao Sun Lingfeng Huang Guoliang Chen Zishan Zheng 2021Journal of Rare Earths2021,39,7:0
9Educational divergence among urban residents and migrant workers: Evidence from China显示文摘While the Harris-Todaro model is a traditional approach used in researching the urban-rural dichotomy,it fails to explain families’goals to maximize their current utility in terms of intertemporal decision-making con‐ditions.To fill this gap,in this paper,an urban-rural dichotomy model involving labor migration and educa‐tion is established,in which it is assumed that family utility derives from consumption and children’s educa‐tional achievement.The steady-state path derived through the Bellman equation suggests that increasing edu‐cational investment and family education intensity leads to a significant urban-rural difference in children’s educational achievement.Compared with the traditional Harris-Todaro model,the transversality condition is loosened in this model,while the unavailability of loans constrains migrant families.Four hypotheses are made and tested using an empirical study.An ordinary least squares regression was used in the analysis,but due to the endogeneity caused by missing variables,the instrumental variable method and two-stage least squares regression were used.The results demonstrate that the household registration system can explain 44.5%of the educational achievement difference,and the initial difference is inflated 4.73 times after nine years of compulsory education.This divergence could increase the differences caused by household registra‐tion status,resulting in larger income gaps and intergenerational heredity of identities.Shuxing Chen Lingfeng Zheng Yuxiang Gao 2022Chinese Journal of Population,Resources and Environment2022,20,3:0
10Statistical study on interplanetary drivers behind intense geomagnetic storms and substorms显示文摘Geomagnetic storms and substorms play a central role in both the daily life of mankind and in academic space physics.The profiles of storms,especially their initial phase morphology and the intensity of their substorms under different interplanetary conditions,have usually been ignored in previous studies.In this study,97 intense geomagnetic storms(Dstmin≤–100 nT)between 1998 and 2018 were studied statistically using the double superposed epoch analysis(DSEA)and normalized superposed epoch analysis(NSEA)methods.These storms are categorized into two types according to different interplanetary magnetic field(IMF)Bz orientations:geomagnetic storms whose IMF is northward,both upstream and downstream relative to the interplanetary shock,and geomagnetic storms whose upstream and downstream IMF is consistently southward.We further divide these two types into two subsets,by different geomagnetic storm profiles:Type Ⅰ/Type Ⅱ—one/two-step geomagnetic storms with northward IMF both upstream and downstream of the interplanetary shock;Type Ⅲ/TypeⅣ—one/two-step geomagnetic storms with southward IMF both upstream and downstream of the interplanetary shock.The results show that:(1)geomagnetic storms with northward IMF both upstream and downstream of the interplanetary shock have a clear initial phase;geomagnetic storms with southward IMF in both upstream and downstream of the interplanetary shock do not;(2)the IMF is an important controlling factor in affecting the intensity characteristics of substorms.When Bz is positive before and after the interplanetary shock arrival,the Auroral Electrojet(AE)index changes gently during the initial phase of geomagnetic storms,the median value of AE index is maintained at 500–1000 nT;(3)when Bz is negative before and after the interplanetary shock arrival,the AE index rises rapidly and reaches its maxmum value about one hour after storm sudden commencements(SSC),although the time is scaled between reference points and the maximum value of AE is usually greater than 1,000 nT,representing intense substorms;(4)for most cases,the Dst0 usually reaches its minimum at least one hour after Bz.These results are useful in improving contemporary space weather models,especially for those that address geomagnetic storms and substorms.Tian Tian Zheng Chang LingFeng Sun JunShui Bai XiaoMing Sha Ze Gao 2019Earth and Planetary Physics2019,3,5:0
