| 1 | A new acyclic peroxide from Aspergillus nidulans SD-531,a fungus obtained from deep-sea sediment of cold spring in the South China Sea显示文摘A new acyclic peroxide derivative asperoxide A(1),along with 13 known compounds,namely,microperfuranone(2),9-hydroxymicroperfuranone(3),gibellulin A(4),lecanoric acid(5),terrequinone A(6),sterigmatocystin(7),isosecosterigmatocystin(8),arugosin C(9),curvularin(10),3,3'-diindolylmethane(11),austinol(12),austin(13),and dehydroaustin(14),were isolated and identified from the culture extract of Aspergillus nidulans SD-531,a fungus obtained from the deep-sea sediment of cold spring in the South China Sea.Their structures were determined based on detailed interpretation of nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR)spectroscopic and mass spectrometry data analysis.All the isolated compounds were evaluated for antimicrobial activities against human and aquatic bacteria as well as plant pathogenic fungi.Compounds 1–8,10,and 11 exhibited antimicrobial activities against some of the tested strains with minimum inhibitory concentration(MIC)values ranging from^2 to 64μg/mL.Compounds 4 and 6 displayed strongest activities among the tested samples and might be used as promising molecules for the development of natural antimicrobial agents. | LÜFengyi LI Xiaoming CHI Luping MENG Linghong WANG Bingui | 2020 | Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2020,38,4: | 4 |

| 4 | Facile strategy for carbon foam fabrication with lignin as sole feedstock and its applications显示文摘This research is a follow-up to our recent discovery of a facile strategy for directly converting lignin powder into carbon foam.In this work,we report that the thermal pretreatment parameters in air can remarkably influence the formation and properties of the derived carbon foam.Thermal pretreatment parameters(heating rate,temperature,and residence time)were systematically investigated and a conversion mechanism into carbon foam was proposed.During the thermal pretreatment,relatively low temperatures,low heating rates,and short residence time hindered the formation of smooth and well-connected structures in the carbon foam.The overall product yields were similar regardless of the thermal pretreatment conditions.The densities of the different carbon foams ranged 0.27–0.83 g∙cm^(−3).The carbon foams with the highest compressive strengths(>10 MPa)were KLPC280-2-5,KLPC300-0-5,and KLPC300-2-2.5.KLPC280-2-5 exhibited a high iodine sorption value(182 mg∙g^(−1)).KLPC300-2-5 exhibited a specific capacitance of 158 F∙g^(−1) at a current density of 0.05 A∙g^(−1).The maximum evaporation rates in the solar vapor generation experiments were 1.05 and 1.38 kg∙m^(−2)∙h^(−1) under 100 and 150 mW∙cm^(−2) irradiation,respectively.The good performances are attributed to the robust,porous,and continuous structure. | Linghong Yin Zizhu Zhao Meng Han Wangda Qu | 2023 | Frontiers of Chemical Science and Engineering2023,17,8: | 1 |
| 5 | Vercytochalasins A and B: Two unprecedented biosynthetically related cytochalasins from the deep-sea-sourced endozoic fungus Curvularia verruculosa显示文摘Vercytochalasins A(1) and B(2), two biosynthetically related cytochalasins featuring novel structure and substituents, were isolated from the endozoic fungus Curvularia verruculosa which was associated with the deep-sea squat lobster Shinkaia crosnieri collected from the cold seep environment in South China sea. Their structures were elucidated by detailed interpretation of NMR spectroscopic and mass spectrometric data. The absolute configurations were confirmed by NOESY experiments as well as by DP4+ and ECD calculations. Differed from common cytochalasins, compound 1 is an uncommon secocytochalasin featuring the ester group cleaved between C-9 and C-23, and incorporating an additional oxygenated C4 unit which coupled with C-20 and C-22 to form a new substituted cyclohexenone moiety, while compound 2 contains an unusual 2–hydroxy-3-oxobutan-2-yl unit at C-22. Both compounds are distinctive from the commonly described cytochalasins. Compound 1 exhibited potent activity against angiotensinI-converting enzyme(ACE) whereas compound 2 showed antibacterial activity.
