| 1 | Effect of oxidization on enrichment behavior of TiO_2 in titanium-bearing slag显示文摘Due to the dispersed distribution of the titanium component in various mineral phases and very fine grain size, it is difficult to recover the titanium component from the slag. In order to utilize titanium resources, selective enriching and selective growing of the titanium component from the molten slag is expected. In this paper, the selection of the best tita- nium enrichment phase and the effect of oxidization on the enrichment of titanium by blowing air into the molten slag were studied. The results showed that through oxidizing the slag, the content of the perovskite phase increases while that of the other titanium-bearing mineral phases decreases until they disappear. Most titania resources were enriched into the perovskite phase and increase in size. | 2 | IL-23-induced macrophage polarization and its pathological roles in mice with imiquimod-induced psoriasis显示文摘Macrophages acquire distinct phenotypes during tissue stress and inflammatory responses.Macrophages are roughly categorized into two different subsets named inflammatory M1 and anti-inflammatory M2 macrophages.We herein identified a unique pathogenic macrophage subpopulation driven by IL-23 with a distinct gene expression profile including defined types of cytokines.The freshly isolated resting mouse peritoneal macrophages were stimulated with different cytokines in vitro,the expression of cytokines and chemokines were detected by microarray,real-time PCR,ELISA and multiple colors flow cytometry.Adoptive transfer of macrophages and imiquimod-induced psoriasis mice were used.In contrast to M1-and M2-polarized macrophages,IL-23-treated macrophages produce large amounts of IL-17A,IL-22and IFN-γ.Biochemical and molecular studies showed that IL-23 induces IL-17A expression in macrophages through the signal transducer and activator of transcription 3(STAT3)-retinoid related orphan receptor-γ T (RORyT)pathway.T-bet mediates the IFN-γ production in IL-23-treated macrophages.Importantly,IL-23-treated macrophages signifi- cantly promote the dermatitis pathogenesis in a psoriasis-like mouse model.IL-23-treated resting macrophages express a distinctive gene expression prolife compared with M1 and M2 macrophages.The identification of IL-23-induced macrophage polarization may help us to understand the contribution of macrophage subpopulation in Th17-cytokines-related pathogenesis. | Yuzhu Hou Linnan Zhu Hongling Tian Hai-Xi Sun Ruoyu Wang Lianfeng Zhang Yong Zhao | 2018 | Protein & Cell2018,9,12: | 16 |
| 3 | Fluid Inclusion and H-O Isotope Geochemistry of the Phapon Gold Deposit, NW Laos: Implications for Fluid Source and Ore Genesis显示文摘The Phapon gold deposit, located in northern Laos, is a unique large-scale gold deposit in Luang Prabang-Loei metallogenic belt. It is hosted in the Lower Permian limestone and controlled by a NE-trending ductile-brittle fault system. There are three types of primary ore including auriferous calcite vein type, disseminated type, and breccia type, and the first two are important in the Phapon gold deposit. Based on fluid inclusion petrography and microthermometry, three types of primary fluid inclusions including type 1 liquid-rich aqueous, type 2 vapor-rich aqueous and type 3 daughter mineralbearing aqueous were identified in hydrothermal calcite grains. The ore-forming fluids are normally homogeneous, as indicated by the widespread type 1 inclusions with identical composition. The coexistence of type 1 and type 2 inclusions, showing similar final homogenization temperature but different compositions, indicate that fluid immiscibility did locally take place in both two types of ores. The results of microthermometry and H-O isotopes geochemistry indicate that there are little differences on ore-fluid geochemistry between the auriferous calcite vein-type and disseminated type ores. The oreforming fluids are characterized by medium-low temperatures(157–268 oC) and low salinity(1.6 wt.%–9.9 wt.% NaCl eq.). It is likely to have a metamorphic-dominant mixed source, which could be associated with dehydration and decarbonisation of Lower Permian limestone and Middle–Upper Triassic sandstones during the dynamic metamorphism. The fluid-wallrock interaction played a major role, and the locally occurred fluid-immiscible processes played a subordinate role in gold precipitation. | 5 | The Formation of the Jiaodong Gold Province显示文摘Gold deposits in Jiaodong,termed Jiaodong-type,are tectonically located in the southeastern margin of the North China Craton.Their major features are reviewed in this paper to highlight the differences between Jiaodong deposits and other genetic types of gold deposits.The mineralization was synchronized with asthenosphere upwelling indicated by synore OIB-like mafic dike and large-scale crustal thinning suggested by decrease of Sr/Y from pre-ore to syn-ore granites.Asthenosphere upwelling induced by the roll-back of Paleo-Pacific Plate drove partial melting of lithospheric mantle and devolatilization,which induced the release of the ore-forming fluids.In concomitant with magmatic records,mineralization migrated from the western Jiaobei terrane(133–127 Ma)to the eastern Sulu orogenic belt(114–108 Ma),corresponding to the eastward roll-back of Paleo-Pacific Plate.Gold mineralization in Jiaodong formed in the transitions of ductile to brittle deformation,rapid to slow crustal uplift,and regional compression to extension.In the regional-scale,the gold deposits in the Jiaobei terrane are mostly situated at intersections between NE-trending faults and EW-trending basement faults,and gold orebodies dominantly controlled by the lithologic contacts between Precambrian metamorphic rocks and Mesozoic granites.The mineralization was dominated by the disseminated-veinlet ores related to quartz–sericite alteration in strong cataclasite-breccia zone,with subsidiary thick quartz-sulfide veins developed in secondary fault zones.The ore-forming fluids belong to a H_(2)O–CO_(2)–NaCl±CH_(4)system and show minor variations in salinity among different types of ore.Structure-fluid feedback involving fluid-rock reaction and hydrofracturing triggered the fluid phase separation and resultant gold deposition.The Jiaodong gold deposits are distinct from orogenic and intrusion-related gold deposits in terms of tectonic setting,origin of ore-forming fluids,and mechanism of gold deposition. | DENG Jun WANG Qingfei LIU Xuefei ZHANG Liang YANG Liqiang YANG Lin QIU Kunfeng GUO Linnan LIANG Yayun MA Yao | 2022 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2022,96,6: | 7 |

| 8 | FT5a interferes with the Dt1-AP1 feedback loop to control flowering time and shoot determinacy in soybean显示文摘Flowering time and stem growth habit determine inflorescence architecture in soybean, which in turn influences seed yield. Dt1, a homolog of Arabidopsis TERMINAL FLOWER 1(TFL1), is a major controller of stem growth habit, but its underlying molecular mechanisms remain unclear.Here, we demonstrate that Dt1 affects node number and plant height, as well as flowering time,in soybean under long-day conditions. The b ZIP transcription factor FDc1 physically interacts with Dt1, and the FDc1-Dt1 complex directly represses the expression of APETALA1(AP1). We propose that FT5 a inhibits Dt1 activity via a competitive interaction with FDc1 and directly upregulates AP1. Moreover, AP1 represses Dt1 expression by directly binding to the Dt1 promoter, suggesting that AP1 and Dt1 form a suppressive regulatory feedback loop to determine the fate of the shoot apical meristem. | 10 | Geology, Geochronology, and Hf Isotopic Composition of the Pha Lek Fe Deposit, Northern Laos: Implications for Early Permian Subduction-Related Skarn Fe Mineralization in the Truong Son Belt显示文摘The Truong Son metallogenic belt in central Laos and Vietnam is an important Fe-Cu-Sn-Au polymetallic ore district. The Pha Lek Fe deposit is closely related to Late Carboniferous– Early Permian I-type granitic magmatism, and contains >50 Mt @ 45% to 50% of Fe ore. Ore minerals occur mainly as magnetite and hematite in the skarn alteration zone between a granitic pluton and metamorphosed Middle–Upper Devonian carbonates. The granitic pluton comprises granodiorite and granite, with zircon U-Pb dating indicating synchronous emplacement at 288.2±1.3 and 284.9±1.2 Ma, respectively. Zircons from these granitoids have ε_(Hf)(t) values of 2.9–11.2 and relatively young TDM2 ages(<1.0 Ga), indicating an origin by partial melting of depleted mafic crust or magma mixing. Previous studies have shown that these granitoids have high Y, Yb, and K_2O contents, and low Sr and Na_2O contents, which are interpreted as the melting of mafic continental crust. Pyrite of the main mineralization stage yields an ^(187)Re/^(188)Os-^(187)Os/^(188)Os isochron age of 287±17 Ma, indicating that mineralization is associated with Pha Lek granitic magmatism. A Late Carboniferous–Early Permian subduction-related skarn-type Fe mineralization model is proposed for the Pha Lek deposit.
