1Physical-biogeochemical interactions and potential effects on phytoplankton and Ulva prolifera in the coastal waters off Qingdao(Yellow Sea, China)显示文摘In recent years, the spectacular massive green tide of Ulva prolifera has become a recurrent phenomenon appearing every summer in the coastal waters off Qingdao(Yellow Sea, China), attracting the attention of scientists and local government. Based on multidisciplinary data collected during summer and winter, this study focuses on the hydrological characteristics and regional biogeochemical processes in coastal waters off Qingdao.The results show that the boundary of the Yellow Sea Cold Water Mass(YSCWM) can reach the Qingdao coastal region in summer and is locally raised to the upper layers to form coastal upwelling beyond tidal mixing and favorable wind. The regional summer upwelling off the Qingdao coast effectively enriches the nutrient concentrations in the upper water column and thus promotes growth of phytoplankton but reduces the dissolved oxygen(DO) concentration and pH value in the bottom. The regional summer upwelling off Qingdao coast may facilitate the growth and regional blooming of the U. prolifera that migrate to this region with the southerly wind.Additionally, the effects of the front on the aggregation of U. prolifera may be significant. In winter, the Yellow Sea Warm Current(YSWC) extends and spreads along the offshore region off the Subei Shoal towards the Qingdao coastal sea. This tongue-shaped warm water meets the cold coastal water off Qingdao, which leads to the formation of a physical front. As a consequence, remarkable fronts of nutrient and chlorophyll a(Chl a) also form between the shoreward warm water and the cold coastal water. 2A novel PD-L1 targeting peptide self-assembled nanofibers for sensitive tumor imaging and photothermal immunotherapy in vivo显示文摘Programmed death 1(PD-1)and its ligand PD-L1 are two typical immune checkpoints.Antibody-based immune checkpoint blockade(ICB)strategy targeting PD-1/PD-L1 achieved a significant therapeutic effect on cancer.However,due to the impenetrability of antibody drugs and the occurrence of immune-related adverse events,only a minority of patients benefit from this treatment.Peptides multimerization has been widely proved to be an effective method to improve receptor binding affinity through a multivalent synergistic effect.In this study,we report a novel peptide-aggregation-induced emission(AIE)hybrid supramolecular TAP,which can self-assemble into nanofibers through non-covalent interactions such as hydrogen bonds,with a specific nanomolar affinity to PD-L1 in vivo and in vitro.Combined with near-infrared agents,it can be used for tumor imaging and photothermal therapy,which enables photothermal ablation of cancer cells for generating tumor-associated antigen(TAA)and triggering a series of immunological events.Collectively,our work suggests that synthetic self-assembled peptide nanofibers can be developed as attractive platforms for active photothermal immunotherapies against cancer.Linping Fu Jianhu Zhang Chenchen Wu Weizhi Wang Dong Wang Zhiyuan Hu Zihua Wang 2022Nano Research2022,15,8:0
3Geochemical study and significance of sequential extraction in reservoir rocks of Turpan-Hamin Basin显示文摘Seven samples collected from the Turpan-Hamin Basin were treated by sequential extraction method. Analytical results indicate that the free oils, inclusion oils (oil-bearing fluid inclusions) and clay-adsorbed oils vary significantly. The geochemical characteristics of inclusion and clay-adsorbed oils correlate well with the lacustrine mudstones. The characteristics are as follows: (i) with higher Ph/nC18 ratio and lower Pr/Ph ratio; (ii) with higher values of C26 tricyclic/C24 tetracyclic terpane, C23 tricyclic ter-pane/(C23 tricyclic terpane+C3017α(H) hopane), C21/(C21+C29) sterane, Ts/Tm and C29Ts/C29l7α(H) norhopane and lower value of C19/C21 tricyclic terpane; (iii) with relatively high content of C27 and C28 sterane and lower abundance of C29 sterane and diasterane. 4Spatiotemporal variations of ambient air pollutants and meteorological influences over typical urban agglomerations in China during the COVID-19 lockdown显示文摘To investigate the air quality change during the COVID-19 pandemic,we analyzed spatiotemporal variations of six criteria pollutants in nine typical urban agglomerations in China using ground-based data and examined meteorological influences through correlation analysis and backward trajectory analysis under different responses.Concentrations of PM2.5,PM10,NO2,SO2 and CO in urban agglomerations respectively decreased by 18%–45%(30%–62%),17%–53%(22%–39%),47%-64%(14%–41%),9%–34%(0%–53%)and 16%-52%(23%–56%)during Lockdown(Post-lockdown)period relative to Pre-lockdown period.PM2.5 pollution events occurred during Lockdown in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebe(BTH)and Middle and South Liaoning(MSL),and daily O3 concentration rose to gradeⅡstandard in Post-lockdown period.Distinct from the nationwide slump of NO2 during Lockdown period,a rebound(~40%)in Post-lockdown period was observed in Cheng-Yu(CY),Yangtze River Middle-Reach(YRMR),Yangtze River Delta(YRD)and Pearl River Delta(PRD).With slightly higher wind speed compared with 2019,the reduction of PM2.5(51%–62%)in Post-lockdown period is more than2019(15%–46%)in HC(Harbin-Changchun),MSL,BTH,CP(Central Plain)and SP(ShandongPeninsula),suggesting lockdown measures are effective to PM2.5 alleviation.Although O3 concentrations generally increased during the lockdown,its increment rate declined compared with 2019 under similar sunlight duration and temperature.Additionally,unlike HC,MSL and BTH,which suffered from additional(>30%)air masses from surrounding areas after the lockdown,the polluted air masses reaching YRD and PRD mostly originated from the long-distance transport,highlighting the importance of joint regional governance.Linping Fan Shuang Fu Xin Wang Qingyan Fu Haohao Jia Hao Xu Guimei Qin Xue Hu Jinping Cheng 2021Journal of Environmental Sciences2021,33,8:0
