| 1 | Quasi-real-time simulation of rotating drum using discrete element method with parallel GPU computing显示文摘Real-time simulation of industrial equipment is a huge challenge nowadays. The high performance and fine-grained parallel computing provided by graphics processing units (GPUs) bring us closer to our goals. In this article, an industrial-scale rotating drum is simulated using simplified discrete element method (DEM) without consideration of the tangential components of contact force and particle rotation. A single GPU is used first to simulate a small model system with about 8000 particles in realtime, and the simulation is then scaled up to industrial scale using more than 200 GPUs in a 1D domain-decomposition parallelization mode. The overall speed is about 1/11 of the real-time. | 2 | LA-ICP-MS Zircon U-Pb Dating of Intermediate-Acidic Intrusive Rocks and Molybdenite Re-Os Dating from the Bangpu Mo (Cu) Deposit, Tibet and its Geological Implication显示文摘The multi-stage intrusions of intermediate-acid magma occur in the Bangpu mining district, the petrogenic ages of which have been identified. The times and sequences of their emplacement have been collated and stipulated in detail in this paper by using the laser ablation-inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry (LA-ICP-MS) zircon U-Pb dating method. The ages of biotite monzogranite that were formed before mineralization in the southwest of this mining district are 70±1 Ma (mean square of weighted deviates (MSWD) =9.5, n=8) and 60.60±0.31 Ma (MSWD=3.8, n=16), which belong to the late Cretaceous-early Paleocene in age. That means, they are products of an early tectonicmagmatic event of the collision between the Indian and Asian continentals. The ages of ore-bearing monzogranite porphyry and ore-bearing diorite porphyrite are 16.23±0.19 Ma (MSWD=2.0, n=26) and 15.16±0.09 Ma (MSWD=3.9, n=5) separately, which belong to the middle Miocene in age; namely, they are products of the Gangdese post-collision extensional stage when crust-mantle materials melted and mixed as well as magmatic intrusion simultaneously occurred. Some zircons with ages of 203.6±2.2 Ma (MSWD=1.18, n=7) were captured in the ore-bearing diorite porphyrite, which shows that there had been tectono-magmatic events in the late Triassic-early Jurassic. Molybdenum (copper) ore-bodies produced in the monzogranite porphyry and copper (molybdenum) ore-bodies produced in the diorite porphyrite are the main ore types in this ore deposit. The model ages of Re-Os isotopic dating for the 11 molybdenite are 13.97-15.84 Ma, while isochron ages are 14.09±0.49 Ma (MSWD=26). The isochron ages of seven molybdenite from molybdenum (copper) ore with monzogranite porphyry type are 14.11±0.31 Ma (MSWD=5.2). There is great error in the isochron ages of four molybdenite from copper (molybdenum) ore with diorite porphyrite type, and their weighted average model ages of 14.6±1.2 Ma (MSWD=41), which generally represent the mineralization age. The results about the Re-Os isotopic dating of molybdenite in the ore of different types have limited exactly that, the minerlazation age of this ore deposits is about 14.09 Ma, which belongs to the middle Miocene mineralization. | 6 | Near-surface Geothermal Gradient Observation and Geothermal Analyses in the Xianshuihe Fault Zone,Eastern Tibetan Plateau显示文摘The Xianshuihe fault(XSHF) zone, characterized by intense tectonic activity, is located at the southwest boundary of the Bayan Har block, where several major earthquakes have occurred, including the 2008 Wenchuan and the 2013 Lushan earthquakes. This study analysed underground temperature sequence data for four years at seven measuring points at different depths(maximum depth: 18.9 m) in the southeastern section of the XSHF zone. High-frequency atmospheric noise was removed from the temperature sequences to obtain relatively stable temperature fields and heat fluxes near the measurement points. Our measurements show that the surrounding bedrock at(the seven stations distributed in the fault zone) had heat flux values range from-41.0 to 206 m W/m^2, with a median value of 54.3 m W/m^2. The results indicate a low heat flux in the northern section of DaofuKangting and a relatively high heat flux in the southern section of Kangting, which is consistent with the temperature distributions of the hot springs near the fault. Furthermore, our results suggest that the heat transfer in this field results primarily from stable underground heat conduction. | 16 | Upgrading of Yi'an gas coal by low temperature pyrolysis under different atmospheres显示文摘The quality of Yi'an gas coal before and after low temperature upgrading under either a N 2 or H 2 atmosphere was examined by thermogravimetric and infrared analyses. The effect of upgrading on the prepared coke quality was analyzed. The results show that the carboxyl and phenolic hydroxyls in the coal molecular structure are removed after upgrading by low temperature pyrolysis under either N 2 or H 2 atmospheres. This improves coal caking properties to a certain extent. The upgrading effect under a H 2 atmosphere is remarkably better than the effect observed after upgrading under N 2 . Compared to coke obtained from raw coal, the compressiveand micro-strength of the cokes obtained from upgraded coal are greatly improved. The effect on coke reactivity with CO 2 is not significant. | 17 | Carbon decorated Li_(3)V_(2)(PO_(4))_(3) for high-rate lithium-ion batteries:Electrochemical performance and charge compensation mechanism显示文摘Fast charging and high-power delivering batteries are highly demanded in mobile electronics,electric vehicles and grid energy storage,but there are full of challenges.The star-material Li_(3)V_(2)(PO_(4))_(3) is demonstrated as a promising high-rate cathode material meeting the above requirements.Herein,we report the carbon decorated Li_(3)V_(2)(PO_(4))_(3) (LVP/C) cathode prepared via a facile method,which displays a remarkable high-rate capability and long-term cycling performance.Briefly,the prepared LVP/C delivers a high discharge capacity of 122 mAh g^(-1)(-93% of the theoretical capacity) at a high rate up to 20 C and a superior capacity retention of 87.1% after 1000 cycles.Importantly,by applying a combination of X-ray absorption spectroscopy and full-range mapping of resonant inelastic X-ray scattering,we clearly elucidate the structural and chemical evolutions of LVP upon various potentials and cycle numbers.We show unambiguous spectroscopic evidences that the evolution of the hybridization strength between V and O in LVP/C as a consequence of lithiation/delithiation is highly reversible both in the bulk and on the surface during the discharge-charge processes even over extended cycles,which should be responsible for the remarkable electrochemical performance of LVP/C.Our present study provides not only an effective synthesis strategy but also deeper insights into the surface and bulk electrochemical reaction mechanism of LVP,which should be beneficial for the further design of high-performance LVP electrode materials. | Manling Ding Chen Cheng Qiulong Wei Yue Hu Yingying Yan Kehua Dai Jing Mao Jinghua Guo Liang Zhang Liqiang Maig | 2021 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,2: | 3 |
| 18 | FeSe2 clusters with excellent cyclability and rate capabilityfor sodium-ion batteries显示文摘Sodium-ion batteries (SIBs) have great promise for sustainable and economicalenergy-storage applications. Nevertheless, it is a major challenge to developanode materials with high capacity, high rate capability, and excellent cyclingstability for them. In this study, FeSe2 clusters consisting of nanorods weresynthesized by a facile hydrothermal method, and their sodium-storage propertieswere investigated with different electrolytes. The FeSe2 clusters delivered highelectrochemical performance with an ether-based electrolyte in a voltage rangeof 0.5-2.9 V. A high discharge capacity of 515 mAh.g-1 was obtained after 400 cyclesat 1 A.g-1, with a high initial columbic efficiency of 97.4%. Even at an ultrahighrate of 35 A-g-1 a specific capacity of 128 mAh.g-1 was achieved. Using calculations,we revealed that the pseudocapacitance significantly contributed to the sodium-ionstorage, especially at high current rates, leading to a high rate capability. | 19 | Amine-assisted synthesis of FeS@N-C porous nanowires for highly reversible lithium storage显示文摘Iron sulfide is an attractive anode material for lithium-ion batteries (LIBs) due to its high specific capacity,environmental benignity,and abundant resources.However,its application is hindered by poor cyclability and rate performance,caused by a large volume variation and low conductivity.Herein,iron sulfide porous nanowires confined in an N-doped carbon matrix (FeS@N-C nanowires) are fabricated through a simple amine-assisted solvothermal reaction and subsequent calcination strategy.The as-obtained FeS@N-C nanowires,as an LIB anode,exhibit ultrahigh reversible capacity,superior rate capability,and long-term cycling performance.In particular,a high specific capacity of 1,061 mAh·g-1 can be achieved at 1 A·g-1 after 500 cycles.Most impressively,it exhibits a high specific capacity of 433 mAh·g-1 even at 5 A·g-1.The superior electrochemical performance is ascribed to the synergistic effect of the porous nanowire structure and the conductive N-doped carbon matrix.These results demonstrate that the synergistic strategy of combining porous nanowires with an N-doped carbon matrix holds great potential for energy storage. | Xiujuan Wei Xin Tan Jiasheng Meng XuanpengWang Ping Hu Wei Yang Shuangshuang Tan Qinyou An Liqiang Mai | 2018 | Nano Research2018,11,12: | 3 |
