| 4 | Preparation of Carboxymethylcellulose from Waste Paper显示文摘We aimed at producing sodium carboxymethylcellulose (CMC) from waste paper cellulose.For this etherification,the raw material was waste paper,the cellulose was initially alkalized with NaOH,the etherifying agent was sodium chloroacetate,and the reaction medium was water or ethanol.The method provided by us,i e,a method for preparing CMC from waste paper,was environment-friendly,could be easily implemented,and could be conveniently applied to make waste paper efficiently used with high profit,and to expand the range of usable raw materials for CMC production.We successfully synthesized CMC and prepared CMC plastic membrane.This practice changes waste into valuables,which is beneficial to our living environment.For preparation of CMC,one of the crucial factors is appropriate pretreatment of the cellulose from waste paper.The pretreatment was done with a self-built hydrolysis method.We experimentally examined the effects of the mass ratios of reactants,reaction temperature,time,and reaction environment of homogeneous or heterogeneous on CMC yield.The innovative points of this research could be stated as follows:the reaction activity of cellulose was improved by pre-hydrolysis;synthesizing CMC with cellulose from waste paper changes waste into valuables is beneficial to our living environment;and a freezing treatment for the cellulose-alkali mixture was innovatively added.The effects were exhibited by a desired final conversion efficiency. | 何杰 WANG Dali LONG Lirong HUANG Yali CUI Chunxiang YI Jiajia YANG Shengyang WANG Yuchang | 2021 | Journal of Wuhan University of Technology(Materials Science)2021,36,4: | 0 |
| 5 | Construction of digital 3D magic-cube organization structure for innovation-driven manufacturing显示文摘Owing to the heterogeneity between functional units and resource scarcity,manufacturing firms have been struggling with intra-organizational coordination for productivity and innovation.Traditional organizational structures,such as linear-functional and matrix,may cause responsibility division and independent goals(Shahani,2020),and are more difficult to be adopted by large-sized innovative manufacturing firms for quantity production.This is based on a review of several new forms of organization(i.e.,network organization,multiteam system,and platform organization)compared with the traditional forms of organization(i.e.,linear,matrix,and business unit organization,among others).This study proposes a three-dimensional(3D)magic-cube organizational structure,considering the product dimensions,business,and administration.Moreover,the characteristics,propositions of system operation,system dynamic model,and working model of the 3D magic-cube organization are described.Finally,the 3D model is applied in a Chinese manufacturing firm to test its effectiveness.By redesigning the post and pay system,the pilot organization establishes a project-driven and cross-functional coordination mechanism,positively affecting the firm’s financial profit,output value,labor productivity,and income of per capita.The proposed 3D model can be adopted by large-or medium-sized manufacturing firms for product development and innovation.The implications of both practice and theory are also discussed in this study. | Qiao XIANG You ZHANG Jie ZHONG Guoxuan WANG Lirong LONG | 2023 | Frontiers of Engineering Management2023,10,3: | 0 |
| 6 | Demonstration of fully-connected quantum communication network exploiting entangled sideband modes显示文摘Quantum communication network scales point-to-point quantum communication protocols to more than two detached parties,which would permit a wide variety of quantum communication applications.Here,we demonstrate a fully-connected quantum communication network,exploiting three pairs of Einstein–Podolsky–Rosen(EPR)entangled sideband modes,with high degree entanglement of 8.0 dB,7.6 dB,and 7.2 dB.Each sideband modes from a squeezed field are spatially separated by demultiplexing operation,then recombining into new group according to network requirement.Each group of sideband modes are distributed to one of the parties via a single physical path,making sure each pair of parties build their own private communication links with high channel capacity better than any classical scheme. | Fan Li Xiaoli Zhang Jianbo Li Jiawei Wang Shaoping Shi Long Tian Yajun Wang Lirong Chen Yaohui Zheng | 2023 | Frontiers of physics2023,18,4: | 0 |
