| 3 | Experiments on rockburst proneness of pre-heated granite at different temperatures: Insights from energy storage, dissipation and surplus显示文摘Many underground engineering projects show that rockburst can occur in rocks at great depth and high temperature, and temperature is a critical factor affecting the intensity of rockburst. In general, temperature can affect the energy storage, dissipation, and surplus in rock. To explore the influence of temperature on the energy storage and dissipation characteristics and rockburst proneness, the present study has carried out a range of the uniaxial compression(UC) and single-cyclic loading-unloading uniaxial compression(SCLUC) tests on pre-heated granite specimens at 20℃-700℃. The results demonstrate that the rockburst proneness of pre-heated granite initially increases and subsequently decreases with the increase of temperature. The temperature of 300℃ has been found to be the threshold for rockburst proneness. Meanwhile, it is found that the elastic strain energy density increases linearly with the total input strain energy density for the pre-heated granites, confirming that the linear energy property of granite has not been altered by temperature. According to this inherent property, the peak elastic strain energy of pre-heated granites can be calculated accurately. On this basis, utilising the residual elastic energy index, the rockburst proneness of pre-heated granite can be determined quantitatively. The obtained results from high to low are: 317.9 k J/m^(3)(300℃), 264.1 k J/m^(3)(100℃), 260.6 k J/m^(3)(20℃), 235.5 k J/m^(3)(500℃), 158.9 k J/m^(3)(700℃), which are consistent with the intensity of actual rockburst for specimens. In addition, the relationship between temperature and energy storage capacity(ESC) of granite was discussed, revealing that high temperature impairs ESC of rocks, which is essential for reducing the rockburst proneness. | 4 | Photoelectrochemical regeneration of all vanadium redox species for construction of a solar rechargeable flow cell显示文摘Energy storage is pivotal for the continuous utilization of solar energy suffering from the intermittency issue. Herein, we demonstrate a solar rechargeable flow cell(SRFC) based on photoelectrochemical regeneration of vanadium redox species for in-situ solar energy harvest and storage. In this device, TiO_2 and MWCNT/acetylene black(MWCNT/AB) composite are served as the photoanode and the counter electrode,respectively, with all vanadium redox couples, VO_2^+/VO^(2+)and VO^(2+)/V^(3+), as solar energy storage media.Benefitting from solar energy, the cell can be photocharged under a bias as low as 0.1 V, which is much lower than the discharge voltage of ~0.5 V. Photocharged under the optimized condition, the cell delivers a discharge energy of 23.0 mWh/L with 67.4% input electric energy savings. | 7 | Clinical Observation of the Treatment of Hemorrhoids with Polyvinyl Alcohol Foam Sclerotherapy under Transparent Cap Assisted Endoscope显示文摘Objective:To explore the clinical efect of domestic capsosol foam sclerotherapy in the treatment of hemorrhoids under transparent cap assisted endoscope.Methods:According to the experimental requirements,120 cases of hemorrhoids hospitalized in gastroenterology department in our hospital from February to December in 2019 were selected as the treatment group.The foam sclerotherapy of polidocanol and the air in accordance with the 1:4 ratio was injected into varicose hemorrhoids and hemorrhoids through a transparent cap assisted endoscope.At the same time,100 patients were selected as the control group and the patients were treated according to the routine protocol.The symptom score and climical eficacy of the two groups were observed under different treatment schemes.Results:120 patients were sucessfuly injected with foam sclerotherapy under endoscope.There were significant differences in climical symptom score and climical efficacy between the injection sclerotherapy goup and the control group.There were statistically significant differences in the bleeding,prolapse,painful defecation,anal foreign body sensation,impact on daily work,and hemonhoids data between the treatment group and the contol group(P-0.05).Conclusion:Transparent cap assisted endoscopic injection of polidocanol sclerotherapy in the treatment of hemorhoids can effectively improve the clinical symptoms of patients,promote the improvement of the disease,and the curative effect is satisfactory.It is a new method of minimally invasive treatment of hemorrhoids,which is worthy of wide promotion in clinical practice. | Yanmei Qi Fengqiang Zhou Zhen Geng Lei Liu | 2020 | Journal of Clinical and Nursing Research2020,4,6: | 0 |
| 8 | Mechanical behaviors of backfill-rock composites: Physical shear test and back-analysis显示文摘The shear behavior of backfill-rock composites is crucial for mine safety and the management of surface subsidence.For exposing the shear failure mechanism of backfill-rock composites,we conducted shear tests on backfill-rock composites under three constant normal loads,compared with the unfilled rock.To investigate the macro-and meso-failure characteristics of the samples in the shear tests,the cracking behavior of samples was recorded by a high-speed camera and acoustic emission monitoring.In parallel with the experimental test,the numerical models of backfill-rock composites and unfilled rock were established using the discrete element method to analyze the continuous-discontinuous shearing process.Based on the damage mechanics and statistics,a novel shear constitutive model was proposed to describe mechanical behavior.The results show that backfill-rock composites had a special bimodal phenomenon of shearing load-deformation curve,i.e.the first shearing peak corresponded to rock break and the second shearing peak induced by the broken of aeolian sand-cement/fly ash paste backfill.Moreover,the shearing characteristic curves of the backfill-rock composites could be roughly divided into four stages,i.e.the shear failure of the specimens experienced:stage I:stress concentration;stage II:crack propagation;stage III:crack coalescence;stage IV:shearing friction.The numerical simulation shows that the existence of aeolian sand-cement/fly ash paste backfill inevitably altered the coalescence type and failure mode of the specimens and had a strengthening effect on the shear strength of backfillrock composites.Based on damage mechanics and statistics,a shear constitutive model was proposed to describe the shear fracture characteristics of specimens,especially the bimodal phenomenon.Finally,the micro-and meso-mechanisms of shear failure were discussed by combining the micro-test and numerical results.The research can advance the better understanding of the shear behavior of backfill-rock composites and contribute to the safety of mining engineering. | Jie Xin Quan Jiang Fengqiang Gong Lang Liu Chang Liu Qiang Liu Yao Yang Pengfei Chen | 2024 | Journal of Rock Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering2024,16,3: | 0 |
| 9 | Remarkable mechanochromism and force-induced thermally activated delayed fluorescence enhancement from white-light-emitting organic luminogens with aggregation-induced emission显示文摘The development of organic materials with white-light emission and thermally activated delayed fluorescence(TADF)properties in the solid state remain a challenge.Herein,a series of white-light-emitting organic luminogens have been developed and are found to show aggregation-induced delayed fluorescence(AIDF)characteristics.The AIDF emitters present dual-emission consisted of prompt fluorescence and TADF in the crystalline state.Their white-light emissions can be easily tuned by altering the chemical structure and connecting position of the heterocyclic aromatic substituent.Under the stimuli of mechanical force and solvent vapor,the compounds exhibit remarkable and reversible mechanochromism,in which their emission colors are switchable between white and yellow.Upon grinding,they also display linearly tunable luminescence colors,as well as force-induced TADF enhancement,which may be associated with the more compact molecular packing and the restriction of intramolecular motions.The results from time-resolved emission scanning and theoretical calculation suggest that the dual-emission of the AIDF luminogens likely results from the twisted intramolecular charge transfer transitions of the molecules,and the reversible mechanochromism properties probably stem from the interconversion of the quasi-axial and the quasi-equatorial conformations. | Yitao Zheng Lingqi Zuo Letian Zhang Zihao Huang Shufeng Li Zhan Yang Zhu Mao Suilian Luo Cong Liu Fengqiang Sun Guang Shi Zhenguo Chi Bingjia Xu | 2022 | Chinese Chemical Letters2022,33,10: | 0 |
