1SHRIMP U-Pb zircon dating of the Ordos Basin basement and its tectonic significance显示文摘SHRIMP U-Pb zircon 207 Pb/206 Pb ages were obtained from two drill cores from the basement of the Ordos Basin.A garnet-sillimanite-biotite-plagioclase gneiss(QI1-1) from the western Ordos Basin basement yielded an average age of 2031 10 Ma.Based on the mineral assemblages,the source material of the gneiss is speculated to be pelitic-felsic system.A gneissic two-mica granite(Long1-1) from the eastern Ordos Basin basement yielded an average age of 2035 10 Ma.The zircons from both samples exhibit magmatic growth pattern.The shapes of the zircons suggest that the zircons should crystallize from a granitic of felsic volcanic terrain.The ages and the characters of zircons are consisitent with the other researches in the Ordos Basin and indicate that the basement of the Ordos Basin had experienced an intensive magmatic epsode during the late Paleoproterozoic period.The date from this study suggest the possible existences of a Paleoproterozoic mobile tectonic belt in the region.The reconstruction of such a belt is critical for understanding the tectonomagmatic evolution of the western block of the North China Craton.HU JianMin LIU XinShe LI ZhenHong ZHAO Yue ZHANG ShuanHong LIU XiaoChun QU HongJie CHEN Hong 2013Chinese Science Bulletin2013,58,1:21
2Gas accumulation conditions and key technologies for exploration & development of Sulige gasfield显示文摘Up to now,the Sulige area in Ordos Basin has the favorable exploration area of 55×10^(3) km^(2),the total reserve of natural gas of nearly 6×10^(12) m^(3) and the proven reserve(including basic proven reserve)of 4.77×10^(12) m^(3),where the annual production of natural gas reaches 23×10^(9) m^(3),and the Sulige gasfield is the largest onshore natural gas field in China.The pay zone of the Sulige gasfield mainly is Member 8 of Shihezi Formation and Member 1 of Shanxi Formation of Permian which belong to the typical tight sandstone gas reservoir.The coal measure strata in Carboniferous Benxi Formation,Permian Taiyuan Formation and Shanxi Formation provide abundant gas sources for the Gulige gas reservoirs.An open-flow sedimentary model of lacustrine delta is developed,the gentle bottom,sand supply from multisource,strong hydrodynamic force and multi-period superposition control the distribution of largearea reservoir sand body.Lithology of the reservoir is the sandstone of the fluvial-delta facies,the physical property is poor and the heterogeneity is strong,the average porosity ranges from 4%to 12%and the average permeability varies from 0.01 to 1 mD.The gas reservoir is characterized by wide hydrocarbon generation,pervasive hydrocarbon charging,short-range migration and massive accumulation.The pressure coefficient of the gas reservoir ranges from 0.62 to 0.90,indicating the low-pressure gas reservoir,and the single-well yield is low.Full digital seismic technique in the desert area,nonlongitudinal seismic technique in the loess plateau,accurate logging evaluation technique,tight sand reservoir stimulation technology and horizontal well development technology are key technologies for exploration and development of Sulige gasfield.Jinhua Fu Liyong Fan Xinshe Liu Daojun Huang 2018Petroleum Research2018,3,2:3

6Genesis of Dolomite from Ma5^5-Ma5^10 Sub-members of the Ordovician Majiagou Formation in the Jingxi Area in the Ordos Basin显示文摘We clarified three stages of dolomitization and secondary changes by studying the petrology and geochemistry characteristics of dolomite from the Ma5~5-Ma5^(10) sub-members of the Ordovician Majiagou Formation in the Jingxi area in the Ordos Basin:(1) Syngenetic microbial dolomitization is characterized by formation of dolomite with a mainly micrite structure and horse tooth-shape dolomite cements.(2) Seepage reflux dolomitization during the penecontemporaneous period superposed adjustment functions such as recrystallization and stabilization in the middle-deep burial stage,forming dolomites mainly consisting of micro crystal and powder crystal structure.(3) Powder dolomite,fine dolomite,and medium-coarse crystalline dolomite formed in pores and fractures in the middle-deep burial stage.The secondary concussive transgression-regression under a regressive background is an important condition for the occurrence of many stages of dolomitization in the study area.The basin was an occlusive epicontinental sea environment in the MaS member of the Ordovician Majiagou Formation sedimentary period.In the sediments,sulfate content was high,which is conducive to the preservation of microbial activity and microbial dolomitization.Micritic dolomite formed by microbial dolomitization provides good migration pathways for seepage reflux dolomitization.Affected by evaporation seawater with increased Mg/Ca ratio,seepage reflux dolomitization was widely developed and formed large-scale dolomite,and underwater uplifts and slopes are favorable areas for dolomite.In the middle-deep burial stage,dolomitizing fluid in the stratum recrystallized or stabilized the previous dolomite and formed a small amount of euhedral dolomite in the pores and fractures.LIU Jingdong JIANG Youlu LIU Xinshe YANG Zhiwei HOU Xiangdong ZHU Rongwei WEN Caixia WANG Feiyan 2017Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2017,91,4:1
7Accumulation conditions and exploration directions of Ordovician lower assemblage natural gas, Ordos Basin, NW China显示文摘Based on drilling cores, well logging and seismic data, source rocks and reservoirs are evaluated;and the natural gas genesis is identified through the analysis of natural gas isotopes, components and fluid inclusions, to study the gas accumulation conditions of the gypsum salt rock related strata of the Ordovician lower assemblage in Ordos Basin.(1) The natural gas from Ordovician lower assemblage is high thermal evolution dry gas from marine source rock, characterized by relatively light δ^(13)C value of methane and heavy δ^(13)C value of ethane. The natural gas is identified as gas cracking from crude oil according to component analysis. Thermochemical sulfate reduction(TSR) reaction has happened between the hydrocarbon fluid and sulfate as sulfur crystals are found in the cores, hydrogen sulfide is found in the natural gas, and hydrocarbon and hydrogen sulfide fluid inclusions are widespread in secondary minerals.(2) Around the gypsum-salt lows, argillaceous rocks are extensive in the Ordovician lower assemblage, reaching a cumulative thickness of 20–80 m. The effective source rocks include argillaceous rock rich in organic laminae, algal clump and algal dolomite. Analysis shows that the source rocks have a dominant TOC of 0.1%–0.5%, 0.31% on average and 3.24% at maximum. The source rocks have an average TOC of 0.58% after recovered through organic acid salt method, indicating the source rocks have high hydrocarbon supply potential.(3) In the sedimentary period, the palaeo-uplift controlled the distribution of reservoirs. The inherited secondary palaeo-uplift in Wushenqi–Jingbian east of the central palaeo-uplift and the low uplift formed by thick salt rocks near Shenmu–Zizhou area controlled the distribution of penecontemporaneous grain shoal dolomite reservoirs. The salinization sedimentary environment of gypsum salt rock can promote the development of reservoir. There are three types of dolomite reservoirs, the one with intercrystalline pore, with dissolution pore, and with fracture;intercrystalline and dissolution pores are main reservoir spaces.(4) There are two types of cap rocks, namely tight carbonate rock and gypsum-salt rock, constituting two types of source-reservoir-cap assemblages respectively. The general accumulation model is characterized by marine source rock supplying hydrocarbon, beach facies limy dolomite reservoir, small fractures acting as migration pathways, and structural-lithologic traps as accumulation zones.(5) The third and fourth members of Majiagou Formation are major target layers in the lower assemblage. The Wushengqi–Jingbian secondary paleo-uplift area and Shenmu–Zizhou low uplift are dolomite and limestone transition zone, there develops tight limestone to the east of the uplift zone, which is conducive to the formation of gas reservoir sealed by lithology in the updip. 8Formation mechanism of tight sandstone gas in areas of low hydrocarbon generation intensity: A case study of the Upper Paleozoic in north Tianhuan depression in Ordos Basin, NW China显示文摘The Upper Paleozoic in the north part of Tianhuan depression in the Ordos Basin,NW China has lower hydrocarbon generation intensity and complex gas-water relationship,the main factors controlling the formation of tight sandstone gas and the distribution of tight sandstone gas in the low hydrocarbon generation intensity area are studied.Through two-dimensional physical simulation experiment of hydrocarbon accumulation,analysis of reservoir micro-pore-throat hydrocarbon system and dissection of typical gas reservoirs,the evaluation models of gas injection pressure,reservoir physical property,and gas generation threshold were established to determine the features of tight gas reservoirs in low hydrocarbon intensity area:(1)at the burial depth of less than 3 000 m,the hydrocarbon generation intensity ofis high enough to maintain effective charging;(2)tight sandstone in large scale occurrence is conducive to accumulation of tight gas;(3)differences in reservoir physical property control the distribution of gas pool,for the channel sandstone reservoirs,ones with better physical properties generally concentrate in the middle of sandstone zone and local structural highs;ones with poor physical properties have low gas content generally.Based on the dissection of the gas reservoir in the north Tianhuan depression,the formation of tight gas reservoirs in low hydrocarbon generating intensity area are characterized by'long term continuous charging under hydrocarbon generation pressure,gas accumulation in large scale tight sandstone,pool control by difference in reservoir physical property,and local sweet spot',and the tight gas pools are distributed in discontinuous'sheets'on the plane.This understanding has been proved by expanding exploration of tight sandstone gas in the north Tianhuan depression.ZHANG Fudong LI Jun WEI Guoqi LIU Xinshe GUO Jianying LI Jian FAN Liyong SHE Yuanqi GUAN Hui YANG Shen SHAO Liyan 2018Petroleum Exploration and Development2018,45,1:0
