1Depositional Environments of the Upper Permian Quartzose Sandstone(Shandong Province, North China): Insight from Trace Element Geochemistry显示文摘The depositional environment of the Upper Permian quartzose sandstone(Kuishan sandstone in Shihezi Formation of Upper Permian) in the North China epicontinental basin is controversial. In order to test the previous hypotheses, we analyzed sedimentological characteristics of the Kuishan sandstones in outcrops and boreholes, and carried out trace element geochemical analysis by electron probe microanalyzer. Three lithofacies were recognized, including normal-graded conglomerate(Cng), trough and planar cross-bedded coarse sandstone(CStpc), and planar cross-bedded medium sandstone(MSpc). Normal-graded conglomerate(Cng) formed in the meandering river or deltaic distributary channels. Trough and planar cross-bedded coarse sandstone(CStpc) formed in meandering river or distributary channels of near-source deltaic plain. Planar cross-bedded medium sandstone(MSpc) formed in the siliciclastic beach with high- to moderate-energy conditions. By the petrology and trace elements analysis, three relatively large-scale transgressions were revealed. Each transgression was reflected by the lower content of Ba and ratios of Fe/Mn, and the high content of B and ratios of B/Ga. 3A Comparative Study of the Coal-forming Characteristics of Marginal Sea Basins and Epicontinental Sea Basins显示文摘The coal-forming characteristics,as well as the similarities and differences between epicontinental sea basins and continental marginal sea basins developed during different time periods,were analyzed in this study by adopting comparative analysis thoughts and methods.The results obtained in this study revealed that epicontinental basins and marginal sea basins are both characterized by the main development of thin coal seams or extremely thin coal seams.In addition,changes in sea levels were determined to be the main controlling factors for coal formation,and there were similarities in the continent-sea interactions and coal-forming sedimentary systems of the different basins.However,there were also significant differences observed in the sea level change events,basin basement structural characteristics,coal seam stability levels,accumulation and aggregation characteristics,and the migration patterns of coal-forming materials.For example,the marginal sea basins in the South China Sea were found to be characterized by strong tectonic activities,diversity and complexity.The basin structures showed complex patterns of depressions,uplifts and concave or sag uplifts,which tended to lead to greater complexity in the paleogeographic patterns of the coal formations.This had subsequently resulted in complex coal-forming processes and paleogeographic characteristics,in which the coal-forming zones displayed bead-like distributions,and the enrichment areas and centers were scattered.The practical significance of studying the similarities and differences of the coal-forming characteristics between epicontinental basins and marginal sea basins is that the results can potentially be used to guide the predictions of coal-measure coal seam distributions in South China Sea,as well as provide valuable guidance for future explorations of natural gas reservoirs related to coal measures in the South China Sea area.ZHAO Honggang LI Ying CHANG Xiangchun LI Zengxue LIU Haiyan ZHAO Cunliang 2021Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2021,95,1:1

[1], an improved model, Collective-thermal Competition(Percolation) Model (CTCPM) is developed. 15The classification and significance of fine-grained deposits of micro-laminae rich in unconventional oil and gas resources显示文摘In this study,an in-depth analysis of the types,characteristics,and formation mechanisms of microlaminae and microscopic laminae was conducted in order to precisely examine the link or intersection of stratigraphy and petrology.This study was essentially a sedimentary examination of the minuteness-macro and micro-tiny layers between laminae and pore structure,as well as the types of structures and sedimentation.The results of this study bear important basic subject attributes and significance,as well as practical value for the basic theories and exploration applications of unconventional oil and gas geology.The quantitative data were obtained using the following:field macroscopic observations;measurements;intensive sampling processes;XRD mineral content analysis;scanning electron microscopy;high-power polarizing microscope observations;and micro-scale measurements.The quantitative parameters,such as laminae thicknesses,laminae properties,organic matter laminae,and laminae spatial distributions were unified within a framework,and the correlations among them were established for the purpose of forming a fine-grained deposition micro-laminae evaluation system.The results obtained in this research investigation established a basis for the classification of micro-laminae,and divided the micro-laminae into four categories and 20 sub-categories according to the development thicknesses,material compositions,organic matter content levels,and the spatial distributions of the micro-laminae.The classification scheme of the micro-laminae was divided into two categories and 12 sub-categories.Then,in accordance with the comprehensive characteristics of spatial morphology,the micro-laminae was further divided into the following categories:continuous horizontal laminae;near horizontal laminae;slow wavy laminae;wavy laminae;discontinuous laminae;and lenticular laminae.According to the structural properties of the laminae development,the micro-laminae was divided into the following categories:single laminae structures;laminated laminae structures;interlaminar structures;multiple mixed laminae structures;cyclic laminae structures;and progressive laminae structures.The research results were considered to be applicable for the scientific evaluations of reservoir spaces related to unconventional oil and gas resources.Li DONG Ying LI Dongdong WANG Haiyan LIU Guangzeng SONG Zengxue LI Fanfei KONG Lusheng YIN 2022Frontiers of Earth Science2022,16,3:0
16Detecting the electrical conductivity of single walled carbon nano-tubes by a DFM detection system显示文摘Rare SWCNT materials contain both metallic SWCNT(m-SWCNT)and semi-conducting SWCNT(s-SWCNT).Since mSWCNT and s-SWCNT have very different applications,it is necessary to differentiate them so as to further separate them for more efficient CNT utilization.To achieve this goal,the authors established a dielectric force microscope(DFM)detection system to differentiate s-SWCNT from m-SWCNT,based on different 2 force decided by SWCNT’s conductivity under AC electric field.The experimental results showed that s-SWCNT can be clearly differentiated from m-SWCNT.The statistics analysis shows that the detected number proportion of s-SWCNT to m-SWCNT matches the well-known proportion 2:1 in the normally prepared CNT materials.The above results strongly verified the effectiveness of the detection system.ZHAO ZengXu TIAN XiaoJun LIU Jie DONG ZaiLi WANG YueChao 2014Science China(Technological Sciences)2014,57,1:0
