| 1 | Enhancement of the hydrogen evolution performance by finely tuning the morphology of Co-based catalyst without changing chemical composition显示文摘Transition-metal phosphides, as the promising alternatives to noble metal catalysts, have been widely used as efficient electrocatalysts for hydrogen evolution reaction (HER). In this work, three kinds of cobalt-8-hydroxyquinoline (Coqx) with different size and nanostructures are synthesized by varying the hydrothermal conditions, which was named as Coqx-L, Coqx-M and Coqx-S according to the decreased size. Accordingly, the CoxP/NC with three different size nanostructures (CoxP/NC-L, CoxP/NC-M and CoxP/NC-S) are obtained by the sequential carbonization and phosphidation of Coqx. The X-ray diffraction (XRD) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) results imply the identical chemical composition in these catalysts with different morphologies. Thus, systematic study is carried out to reveal the relationship between catalytic performance and morphologies of materials with the same chemical composition. The experimental result indicates that the morphology of Cc)xP/NC plays a crucial role on the surface area and electron transfer. Finally, the catalyst of CoxP/NC-S with the smallest size nanostructrue exhibits the best HER performance with a low overpotential at current density of 10 mA/cm^2 (n = 56.9 and 115.6 mV) and a small Tafel slope (52.3 and 69.3 mV/dec) in both 0.1 M HCIO4 and 1.0M KOH as well as long-term stability. | Wenling Gu Liuyong Hu Changshuai Shang Jing Li Erkang Wang | 2019 | Nano Research2019,12,1: | 1 |
| 2 | Fish Assemblage Responses to a Low-head Dam Removal in the Lancang River显示文摘Dam removal is becoming an effective approach for aquatic biodiversity restoration in damming river in order to balance the aquatic ecosystem conservation with large-scale cascade damming. However, the effects of dam removal on fish communities in Asian mountainous rivers, which are dominated by Cypriniformes fishes, are still not well known. To determine whether dam removal on a mountainous river benefit restoration of fish diversity, we investigated the response of fish assemblage to dam removal using a before-after-control-impact design in two tributaries of the Lancang River(dam removal river: the Jidu River, and control river: the Fengdian River). Fish surveys were conducted one year prior to dam removal(2012) and three years(2013–2015) following dam removal. We observed rapidly and notably spatio-temporal changes in fish biodiversity metrics and assemblage structure, occurring in the Jidu River within the first year after dam removal. Overall, fish species richness, density and Shannon-Wiener diversity all increased immediately in above-and below-dam sites, and maintained a stable level in subsequent years, compared to unchanged situation in the control river. All sites in the Jidu River experienced shifts in fish composition after dam removal, with the greatest temporal changes occurred in sites below-and above-the former dam, resulting in a temporal homogenization tendency in the dam removed river. These findings suggest that dam removal can benefit the recovery of habitat conditions and fish community in Asian mountainous rivers, but the results should be further evaluated when apply to other dammed rivers since the dam age, fluvial geomorphology and situation of source populations could all affect the responses of fish assemblages. | DING Chengzhi JIANG Xiaoming WANG Lieen FAN Hui CHEN Liqiang HU Jinming WANG Hailong CHEN Yifeng SHI Xiaotao CHEN Hao PAN Bohui DING Liuyong ZHANG Chao HE Daming | 2019 | Chinese Geographical Science2019,29,1: | 1 |
| 3 | Metal atom doping-induced S-scheme heterojunction boosts the photoelectric response显示文摘Carrier migration path and driving forces are two crucial factors for charge separation of heterojunction with efficient photoelectric response from the thermodynamic and kinetic perspectives, respectively.Constructing the S-scheme heterojunction and achieving an efficient migration path for space charge separation have aroused great interest, while a thorough insight into tuning interfacial band bending for S-scheme heterojunction is absent.Herein,we report a class of Zn atom-doped CeO_(2)/g-C_(3)N_(4) heterostructure for achieving a new carrier migration path conversion from inferior type-II to advanced S-scheme.Zn-dependent volcano-type plot for Zn-CeO_(2) is established to tune the Fermi level of CeO_(2).The built-in electric field for carrier flow dynamics strengthens when coupling with g-C_(3)N_(4),which significantly boosts the photoelectric response.Based on the intrinsic enzymelike activity of Zn-CeO_(2),we further demonstrate that the Zn-CeO_(2)/g-C_(3)N_(4) S-scheme heterojunction can be explored for constructing a sensitive nanozymatic photoelectrochemical biosensor for the detection of acetylcholinesterase. | Mingwang Liu Jing Wen Ying Qin Jinli Li Yinjun Tang Lei Jiao Yu Wu Qie Fang Lirong Zheng Xiaowen Cui Wenling Gu Chengzhou Zhu Liuyong Hu Shaojun Guo | 2023 | Science China Chemistry2023,66,4: | 0 |
| 4 | Single-atom nanozymes with axial ligand-induced self-adaptive conformation in alkaline medium boost chemiluminescence显示文摘Mimicking the structure of natural enzymes for designing advanced alternatives provides great opportunities to address the bottleneck of enzyme-involved chemiluminescence(CL). Herein, according to theoretical calculations, we found that an endogenous axial ligand of M-N-C single-atom nanozymes(SAzymes), originating from OH-spontaneously bonding to the metal center in an alkaline medium, can self-adaptively change its strength to facilitate intermediate steps. Furthermore, the lowest energy barrier of the rate-determining step and the strongest affinity and fastest electron transfer with luminol anion endow CoN-C with the highest peroxidase-like activity. Guided by the theoretical calculations, a series of M-N-C SAzymes(M=Fe, Co,Ni) were synthesized to boost CL, where Co-N-C SAzymes with superior catalytic activity and high selective generation of O_(2)·- were validated. As a proof-of-concept, Co-N-C SAzymes were employed for sensitive detection of acetylcholinesterase and organophosphorus pesticide. | Zhen Luo Liliang Tian Hengjia Wang Zhichao Wu Xin Luo Xiaosi Wang Lei Jiao Xiaoqian Wei Ying Qin Lirong Zheng Liuyong Hu Wenling Gu Le Shi Chengzhou Zhu | 2023 | Science China Chemistry2023,66,3: | 0 |
