1Connection between interannual variability of the western Pacific and eastern Indian Oceans in the 1997 - 1998 El Nino event显示文摘In this paper, the sea surface height and the heat content of the upper ocean are analyzed to retrieve the relationship of interannual variabilities between the tropical western Pacific and eastern Indian Oceans during the 1997 ~ 1998 El Nino event. In the prophase of this El Nino, the negative sea level anomalies (SLA) occurred in the tropical western Pacific (TWP) firstly, and then appeared in the tropical eastern Indian Ocean (TEI). The negative heat content anomalies (HCA) emerged in the TWP before this El Nino burst while the SLA signals developed over there. During the mature stage of this El Nifio, two kinds of signals in the TWP and TEI turned to be the maximum negative sequently. Due to the connected interarmual adjustment between the TEI and TWP, we adopted a method to estimate the Indonesian Throughflow (ITF) transport by calculating the HCA budget in the TEI. The indirect estimation of the ITF was comparable to the observation values. 2Iptkalim inhibits cocaine challenge—induced enhancement of dopamine levels in nucleus accumbens and striatum of rats by up—regulating Kir6.1 and Kir6.2 mRNA expression显示文摘AIM:To investigate the effect and mechanism of novel ATP-sensitive potassium channel opener (KCO) iptkalim (IPT) on acute and cocaine challenge-induced alterations in the levels of dopamine (DA) and glutamate (Glu) from nucleus accumbens (NAc), striatum, and prefrontal cortex (PFC) in rats. METHODS: The levels of DA and Glu were assayed using high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) combined with amperometric and fluorescent detection, respectively. The mRNA levels of Kir6.1, Kir6.2, SUR1, and SUR2 were measured by semiquantitative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR). RESULTS: IPT did not affect acute cocaine (30mg/kg,ip)-induced elevations in either DA levels from NAc and striatum or Glu levels from NAc and PFC. An acute cocaine challenge (30mg/kg,ip) on d 21 after withdrawal caused an elevation in DA levels in NAc and striatum. Moreover, the same treatment also increased Gluo levels in PFC and NAc of cocaine-pretreated rats. Repeated IPT injections reversed cocaine challenge-induced DA increase in NAc and striatum. Cocaine challenge increased Kir6.1 and Kir6.2 mRNA expression in striatum and NAc and only elevate Kir6.2 expression in PFC in both cocainepretreated rats and rats pretreated with IPT plus cocaine. Moreover, expression of Kir6.1 and Kir6.2 mRNA was augmented in rats pretreated with IPT plus cocaine compared to rats pretreated with cocaine alone. No significant change was found in the SUR1 and SUR2 expression of all four groups. 3Direction of arrival estimation using array model in time-frequency domain显示文摘Time-frequency analysis is combined with array processing to develop a direction of arrival (DOA) estimation method. The array data model is constructed in time-frequency domain by cross time-frequency distribution between the output of a reference sensor and those of two symmetric sub-arrays. Accordingly a subspace method is presented based on the average of two sub-arrays' time-frequency data vector model instead of the conventional array model, to estimate DOAs of multiple signals. Because the array data is processed both in spatial domain and 2-D time-frequency domain, the proposed method has an ability to select the signal of interesting, and is suitable for non-stationary signal. Additionally, the method is robust to noise and holds an advantage of low computational load. 4The Luzon Strait transport variations during 1997~2000显示文摘Based on the output data from 1997 to 2000 obtained by the MITgcm' s (general circulation model) adjoint assimilation method, volume, heat and salt transports through the Luzon Strait are calculated. The results indicate that there are obvious different characteristics between 1997 and 1998~2000 on the transports through the Luzon Strait. During 1997, theLuzon Strait had a mean net westward transport of 3.93 × 106 m3/s with a maximum transport of 7.34 × 106 m3/s in Octo-ber. During 1998~2000, the Luzon Strait possessed an annual mean eastward transport of 0.93 × 106, 1.80 × 106 and 1.00× 106 m3/s respectively with a maximum eastward transport of4.10 × 106/3.31 × 106 m3/s in July 1998/1999 and 2.06 ×106 m3/s in April 2000, respectively. Moreover, the transports in 1997 indicated a difference from the other years, I.e.,that the ranges of westward inflows expanded more obviously to north of the Luzon Strait and downwards exceedingthose of the other years. 5MTSS: multi-path traffic scheduling mechanism based on SDN显示文摘Large-scale and diverse businesses based on the cloud computing platform bring the heavy network traffic to cloud data centers.However,the unbalanced workload of cloud data center network easily leads to the network congestion,the low resource utilization rate,the long delay,the low reliability,and the low throughput.In order to improve the utilization efficiency and the quality of services(QoS)of cloud system,especially to solve the problem of network congestion,we propose MTSS,a multi-path traffic scheduling mechanism based on software defined networking(SDN).MTSS utilizes the data flow scheduling flexibility of SDN and the multi-path feature of the fat-tree structure to improve the traffic balance of the cloud data center network.A heuristic traffic balancing algorithm is presented for MTSS,which periodically monitors the network link and dynamically adjusts the traffic on the heavy link to achieve programmable data forwarding and load balancing.The experimental results show that MTSS outperforms equal-cost multi-path protocol(ECMP),by effectively reducing the packet loss rate and delay.In addition,MTSS improves the utilization efficiency,the reliability and the throughput rate of the cloud data center network.XU Xiaolong CHEN Yun HU Liuyun KUMAR Anup 2019Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics2019,30,5:2

14Study on the surface-modification of nano-hydroxyapatite with lignin and the corresponding nanocomposite with poly (lactide-co-glycolide)显示文摘To obtain nano-hydroxyapatite/poly(lactideco-glycolide)(n-HA/PLGA)nanocomposite with superior mechanical properties,here,lignin was chosen to surfacemodify for n-HA through co-precipitation method.The different reaction conditions of reaction time,phosphorus source,and the lignin addition amount were studied by fourier transformation infrared spectra,X-ray diffraction,the intuitionistic dispersion experiment,transmission electron microscope and thermal gravimetric analysis.The reaction mechanism and the best appropriate reaction condition were obtained.More importantly,the results of electromechanical universal tester,scanning electron microscope,differential scanning calorimetric analyzer,polarized optical microscopy and dynamic mechanical analysis confirmed that the obtained n-HA could greatly increase the mechanical strength of PLGA,owing to the excellent dispersion and promotion crystallization effect.Moreover,in vitro cell culture experimental results indicated that the n-HA surface-modified by lignin was favorable to improve the cell biocompatibility of PLGA.The study suggested that the introduction of lignin was a novel method to acquire a highly dispersed n-HA,which would provide a new idea to achieve the n-HA/PLGA nanocomposite as bone materials in future,and it would pave the way towards a new application of lignin in biomedical field.Haojie Ding Liuyun Jiang Chunyan Tang Shuo Tang Bingli Ma Na Zhang Yue Wen Yan Zhang Liping Sheng Shengpei Su Xiang Hu 2021Frontiers of Chemical Science and Engineering2021,15,3:1

17Ontogeny of the Lymphoid Organs of Japanese Flounder,Paralichthys olivaceus显示文摘Histological study on the ontogeny of the lymphoid organs, kidney, thymus and spleen of Japanese flounder, Paralichthys olivaceus, from hatching to 40 d was carried out. The pronephric kidney duct appeared early in hatching although the primordial haemopoietic stem cells were observed within a week after hatching. The spleen was first seen after 8 d of hatching. The thymus appeared after 15 d, situated near the pronephric kidney. Small lymphoid cells appeared during the later phase of the post-larval stage in the sequence of thymus, kidney and spleen. During the 40 d of observations, there were no distinct inner or outer zones in thymus and no red or white pulp in spleen. 18NaF-rich protective layer on PTFE coating microcrystalline graphite for highly stable Na metal anodes显示文摘The practical application of Na metal anode is plagued by the dendrite growth,unstable solid electrolyte interphase(SEI)formation and volume change during the cycling process.Herein,poly(tetrafluoroethylene)(noted as PTFE)coating microcrystalline graphite is designed as the sodium metal anode host by a facile and cost-effective strategy.The isotropous microcrystalline graphite(MG)is conducive to guiding Na+to form a co-intercalation structure into MG.And the PTFE coating layer can form NaF as artificial SEI film for uniform ion transport and deposition.As a result,the gained PTFE coating MG electrode can deliver a long-life span over 1,200 cycles with an average Coulombic efficiency(CE)of 99.88%.To note,almost the CE in each cycle is around 99.8%–100%.When assembled with Na_(3)V_(2)(PO_(4))_(2)F_(3)cathode as full cells,the full cell paired with PTFE coating MG electrode can operate much stable than that of MG electrode for the existence of PTFE coating layer.Even utilized as sodium-free Na metal anode paired with Na_(3)V_(2)(PO_(4))_(2)F_(3)cathode,it can also deliver a high initial CE of 76.27%at 0.5 C.After 100 cycles,it still has a high discharge capacity of 83.5 mAh·g^(−1).Yangyang Xie Congyin Liu Jingqiang Zheng Huangxu Li Liuyun Zhang Zhian Zhang 2023Nano Research2023,16,2:1

20A generalized approach for protein design based on the relative entropy显示文摘In the present study, we have developed the method brought forward recently for protein design based on the relative entropy. The new approach can be used in more common situation other than the special limits in the anterior method.
