| 1 | A Hybrid Forecasting Framework Based on Support Vector Regression with a Modified Genetic Algorithm and a Random Forest for Traffic Flow Prediction显示文摘The ability to perform short-term traffic flow forecasting is a crucial component of intelligent transportation systems. However, accurate and reliable traffic flow forecasting is still a significant issue due to the complexity and variability of real traffic systems. To improve the accuracy of short-term traffic flow forecasting, this paper presents a novel hybrid prediction framework based on Support Vector Regression(SVR) that uses a Random Forest(RF) to select the most informative feature subset and an enhanced Genetic Algorithm(GA) with chaotic characteristics to identify the optimal forecasting model parameters. The framework is evaluated with real-world traffic data collected from eight sensors located near the I-605 interstate highway in California. | 2 | Toward an improved data stewardship and service for environmental and ecological science data in West China显示文摘Sharing of scientific data can help scientific research to flourish and facilitate more widespread use of scientific data for the benefit of society.The Environmental and Ecological Science Data Center for West China(WestDC),sponsored by the National Natural Science Foundation of China(NSFC),aims to collect,manage,integrate,and disseminate environmental and ecological data from western China.It also aims to provide a long-term data service for multidisciplinary research within NSFC’s‘‘Environment and Ecology of West China Research Plan’’(NSFC West Plan).An integrated platform has been developed by the WestDC,and this has the function of data sharing,acting as a knowledge repository.Major data sets developed by the WestDC include basic geographic data,the regionalization of global data set for China,scientific data for cold and arid regions in China,scientific data for the cryosphere in countries that neighbor China,data relating to the inland river basins in northwestern China,and data submitted by the NSFC West Plan projects.In compliance with the‘‘full and open’’data sharing policy,most data in the WestDC can be accessed online.Highlights include detailed data documentation,the integration of data with bibliographic knowledge,data publishing,and data reference. | Xin Li Zhuotong Nan Guodong Cheng Yongjian Ding Lizong Wu Liangxu Wang Jian Wang Youhua Ran Hongxing Li Xiaoduo Pan Zhongming Zhu | 2011 | International Journal of Digital Earth2011,4,4: | 11 |
| 3 | Force-induced charge carrier storage:a new route for stress recording显示文摘Stress sensing is the basis of human-machine interface,biomedical engineering,and mechanical structure detection systems.Stress sensing based on mechanoluminescence(ML)shows significant advantages of distributed detection and remote response to mechanical stimuli and is thus expected to be a key technology of next-generation tactile sensors and stress recorders.However,the instantaneous photon emission in ML materials generally requires real-time recording with a photodetector,thus limiting their application fields to real-time stress sensing.In this paper,we report a force-induced charge carrier storage(FICS)effect in deep-trap ML materials,which enables storage of the applied mechanical energy in deep traps and then release of the stored energy as photon emission under thermal stimulation.The FICS effect was confirmed in five ML materials with piezoelectric structures,efficient emission centres and deep trap distributions,and its mechanism was investigated through detailed spectroscopic characterizations.Furthermore,we demonstrated three applications of the FICS effect in electronic signature recording,falling point monitoring and vehicle collision recording,which exhibited outstanding advantages of distributed recording,longterm storage,and no need for a continuous power supply.The FICS effect reported in this paper provides not only a breakthrough for ML materials in the field of stress recording but also a new idea for developing mechanical energy storage and conversion systems. | Yixi Zhuang Dong Tu Changjian Chen Le Wang Hongwu Zhang Hao Xue Conghui Yuan Guorong Chen Caofeng Pan Lizong Dai Rong-Jun Xie | 2020 | Light(Science & Applications)2020,9,1: | 10 |

| 5 | Identifying absorbable bioactive constituents of Yupingfeng Powder acting on COVID-19 through integration of UPLC-Q/TOF-MS and network pharmacology analysis显示文摘Objective:Yupingfeng Powder(YPF),a kind of preventative patent medicine,is chosen for treatment of coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)due to its high frequency application in respiratory tract diseases,such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease,asthma,respiratory tract infections,and pneumonia,with the advantage of reducing the relapse rate and the severity.However,the active components of YPF and the mechanisms of components affecting COVID-19 are unclear.This study aimed to determine active constituents and elucidate its potential mechanisms.Methods:Ultra performance liquid chromatography-quadrupole-time of flight mass spectrometry(UPLCQ/TOF-MS)and liquid chromatography-triple quadrupole mass spectrometry(LC-QQQ-MS)were used to determine the components and absorbable constituents of YPF.Secondly,TCMSP,Drugbank,Swiss and Pharm Mapper were used to search the targets of absorbable bioactive constituents of YPF,and the targets of COVID-19 were identified based on Gene Cards and OMIM databases.STRING database was used to filter the possible inter-protein interactions.Thirdly,Gene Ontology(GO)enrichment analysis and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes(KEGG)pathways analysis were performed to identify molecular function and systemic involvement of target genes.Results:A total of 61 components of YPF and 36 absorbable constituents were identified through UPLC-Q/TOF-MS.Wogonin,prim-O-glucosylcimifugin,5-O-methylvisamminol,astragalosideⅣand 5-Omethylvisamminol(hydroxylation)were vital constituents for the treatment of COVID-19,and RELA,TNF,IL-6,MAPK14 and MAPK8 ere recognized as key targets of YPF.The major metabolic reactions of the absorbed constituents of YPF were demethylation,hydroxylation,sulfation and glucuronidation.GO and KEGG pathway analysis further showed that the most important functions of YPF were T cell activation,response to molecule of bacterial origin,cytokine receptor binding,receptor ligand activity,cytokine activity,IL-17 signaling pathway,Chagas disease,lipid and atherosclerosis,etc.Conclusion:The approach of combining UPLC-Q/TOF-MS with network pharmacology is an effective tool to identify potentially bioactive constituents of YPF and its key targets on treatment of COVID-19. | Linyan Wang Zhongyan Du Yang Guan Bo Wang Yanling Pei Lizong Zhang Mingsun Fang | 2022 | Chinese Herbal Medicines2022,14,2: | 3 |

| 8 | Expression of P-glycoprotein and Estrogen Receptor in Hum an Prim ary ColorectalCarcinoma显示文摘The purpose of this study is to investigate the expression of estrogen receptor (ER) and P glycoprotein (Pgp) in human primary colorectal carcinoma and the relationship of ER and Pgp expressions with the biologic behaviors of the tumor. Sixty five patients undergoing colorectal cancer resection were enrolled. The case records and pathological reports were reviewed. Paraffin embedded tumor specimens from the 65 cases were examined. The expression of ER and Pgp were determined with immunohistological technique. The relationship between the expressions of ER and Pgp and clinical and pathological characteristics were evaluated. The investigations showed that the positive expression of ER and Pgp were detected in 75.4% and 73.8% of the tumor tissue respectively. The rates of positive expression of ER and Pgp were high in tumor tissues than in normal mucosa (P<0.05). ER expression in the tumor was independent of sex and age of the patients, size ,site and Duke′s stages of the tumors, so did the Pgp expression. The results show that ER and Pgp expression increased in the course of carcinogenesis of colorectal carcinoma. A simple solvothermal method was applied for the fabrication of Fe_3O_4@Poly(4-vinylpyridine)composites with regular structure and uniform size distribution in the presence of 4-vinylpyridine as the structure inducer. The morphology, structure and magnetism performance were characterized and the adsorption model and mechanism were discussed. The results showed that the Fe_3O_4@Poly(4-vinylpyridine) composites were efficient adsorbent for the removal of Congo red from water and it could be reused by a magnetic separation. | 19 | Aquaporin 8ab is required in zebrafish embryonic intestine development显示文摘The aquaporin 8(AQP8)is a small integral membrane protein that selectively transports water and other small uncharged solutes across cell plasma membranes.It has been demonstrated that AQP8 is ubiquitously present in various tissues and organs of mammals,and participates in many physiological and pathological processes.Recent studies showed that AQP8 is highly expressed in the columnar epithelial cells of mammalian colonic mucosa facing lumen,indicating that AQP8 plays potential roles in the physiology and pathophysiology of gastrointestinal tract.However,the role of AQP8 during gastrointestinal tract development is unclear.In the present study,RT-PCR results reveal that the zebrafish genome encodes three kinds of aqp8s(aqp8aa,aqp8ab,and aqp8b).We use whole mount in situ hybridization to describe aqp8 genes spatiotemporal expression pattern,and the results show that aqp8ab mRNA is detectable mainly in the zebrafish embryonic intestine.To reveal the details of aqp8ab distribution,histological sections are employed.Transverse sections indicate that aqp8ab mRNA expression is more intense in the layer lining the intestinal cavity.Knockout of aqp8ab using the CRISPR/Cas9 system induces intestine development defects and abnormal formation of intestinal lumen.In addition,aqp8ab mRNA significantly rescues the intestine defects in the aqp8ab mutant.These results indicate that aqp8ab is required in the intestine development of zebrafish. | Shiping Wang Yinyin Qin Jiajing Sheng Xuchu Duan Lizong Shen Dong Liu | 2022 | Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2022,54,7: | 0 |
