1Symptom-based tendencies of Helicobacter pylori eradication in patients with functional dyspepsia显示文摘AIM: To investigate whether there were symptom-based tendencies in the Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) eradication in functional dyspepsia (FD) patients. METHODS: A randomized, single-blind, placebo-controlled study of H. pylori eradication for FD was conduct- ed. A total of 195 FD patients with H. pylori infection were divided into two groups: 98 patients in the treatment group were treated with rabeprazole 10 mg twice daily for 2 wk, amoxicillin 1.0 g and clarithromycin 0.5 g twice daily for 1 wk; 97 patients in the placebo group were given placebos as control. Symptoms of FD, such as postprandial fullness, early satiety, nausea, belching,epigastric pain and epigastric burning, were assessed 3 mo after H. pylori eradication. RESULTS: By per-protocol analysis in patients with successful H. pylori eradication, higher effective rates of 77.2% and 82% were achieved in the patients with epigastric pain and epigastric burning than those in the placebo group (P < 0.05). The effective rates for postprandial fullness, early satiety, nausea and belching were 46%, 36%, 52.5% and 33.3%, respectively, and there was no significant difference from the placebo group (39.3%, 27.1%, 39.1% and 31.4%) (P > 0.05). In 84 patients who received H. pylori eradication therapy, the effective rates for epigastric pain (73.8%) and epigastric burning (80.7%) were higher than those in the placebo group (P < 0.05). The effective rates for postprandial fullness, early satiety, nausea and belch- ing were 41.4%, 33.3%, 50% and 31.4%, respective- ly, and did not differ from those in the placebo group (P > 0.05). By intention-to-treat analysis, patients with epigastric pain and epigastric burning in the treatment group achieved higher effective rates of 60.8% and 65.7% than the placebo group (33.3% and 31.8%) (P < 0.05). The effective rates for postprandial fullness, early satiety, nausea and belching were 34.8%, 27.9%, 41.1% and 26.7% respectively in the treatment group, with no significant difference from those in the placebo group (34.8%, 23.9%, 35.3% and 27.1%) (P > 0.05). CONCLUSION: The efficacy of H. pylori eradication has symptom-based tendencies in FD patients. 2OPTIMAL DELAUNAY TRIANGULATIONS显示文摘The Delaunay triangulation, in both classic and more generalized sense, is studied in this paper for minimizing the linear interpolation error (measure in L^P-norm) for a given function. The classic Delaunay triangulation can then be characterized as an optimal triangulation that minimizes the interpolation error for the isotropic function ‖x‖^2 among all the triangulations with a given set of vertices. For a more general function, a functiondependent Delaunay triangulation is then defined to be an optimal triangulation that minimizes the interpolation error for this function and its construction can be obtained by a simple lifting and projection procedure. The optimal Delaunay triangulation is the one that minimizes the interpolation error among all triangulations with the same number of vertices, i.e. the distribution of vertices are optimized in order to minimize the interpolation error. 3Co encapsulated N-doped carbon nanotubes as robust catalyst for valorization of levulinic acid in aqueous media显示文摘The construction of an acid resistant catalyst for synthesis of γ-valerolactone from levulinic acid in aqueous media is an important but highly challenging goal.Herein,an efficient Co@NCNT-800(after 800℃ pyrolysis) catalyst was constructed by confining Co in N-doped carbon nano-tubes(NCNT) from low cost materials by a facile strategy.Combined with the characterization results and control experiments,the in situ formed Co and Co-Ox, but not Co-Nx, proved to be the main synergistic active sites of the catalyst.It was also found that Co species are completely isolated within the bamboo-like NCNT,which could protect the metal nanoparticles from agglomeration and leaching in the strong acid reaction system.The γ-valerolactone yield of no less than 99.9% can be obtained under a relatively mild condition,and the catalytic performance has not been significantly reduced within five cycles.Therefore,this work may pave a way for the design of robust non-noble catalyst,and has potential for the production of γ-valerolactone from biomass in large-scale industries.Xiangjin Kong Weijie Geng Wenxiu Li Lin Liu Xiaoqi Yan Longchen Gong Junhai Liu 2021Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,1:1

14Research on Fe-based impregnated diamond drill bits strengthened by Nano-NbC and Nano-WC显示文摘In order to improve the matrix performance of impregnated diamond drill bit to better meet the drilling needs,the effects of the addition of nano-WC and nano-NbC particles on the matrix material together with the mechanical properties and microstructure of the diamond-matrix composite material of the Fe-based diamond drill bit were studied by using the method of uniform formula design,regression analysis and solution finding.An indoor drilling test was also carried out using the fabricated impregnated diamond drill bit.The results showed that after the addition of nano-NbC and nano-WC,the hardness and flexural strength of the matrix material got improved,as the flexural strength of the diamond composite material increased to 4.29%,the wear-resistance ratio increased to 8.75%,and the tighter the chemical bonding between the diamond and the matrix.This,indicates that the addition of nanoparticles has a positive significance in improving the performance of the diamond composite.The results of the drilling test showed that the mechanical drilling speed of the impregnated diamond drill bit after nanoparticle strengthening is 25.85%higher than that of the conventional drill bit,and the matrix wear was increased by 17.5%.It proves that nanoparticles can improve the drilling performance and efficiency of drill bit.Ekene Matthew Egwuonwu Uzodigwe Emmanuel Nnanwuba CHANG Si DUAN Longchen NING Fulong LIU Baochang 2023Global Geology2023,26,1:1
15Unraveling the Rheology of Nanocellulose Aqueous Suspensions:A Comprehensive Study on Biomass-Derived Nanofibrillated Cellulose显示文摘The rheological properties of nanocellulose aqueous suspensions play a critical role in the development of nanocellulose-based bulk materials.High-crystalline,high-aspect ratio,and slender nanofibrillated cellulose(NFC)were extracted from four biomass resources.The cellulose nanofibrils and nanofibril bundles formed inter-connected networks in the NFC aqueous suspensions.The storage moduli of the suspensions with different concentrations were higher than their corresponding loss moduli.As the concentration increased,the storage and loss modulus of NFC dispersion increased.When the shear rate increased to a certain value,there were differences in the changing trend of the rheological behavior of NFC aqueous suspensions derived from different biomass resources and the suspensions with different solid concentrations.NFC dispersion’s storage and loss modulus increased when the temperature rose to nearly 80℃.We hope this study can deepen the understanding of the rheological properties of NFC colloids derived from different biomass resources.Mingyue Miao Fei Wang Qing Li Longchen Tao Chenchen Dai Yu Liu Shujuan Han Wenshuai Chen Ping Lu 2024Journal of Renewable Materials2024,12,3:0
16Boosting the energy density of sulfide-based all-solid-state batteries at low temperatures by charging to high voltages up to 6 V显示文摘Sulfide electrolyte-based all-solid-state batteries(ASSBs)are potential next generation energy storage technology due to the high ionic conductivity of sulfide electrolytes and potentially improved energy density and safety.However,the performance of ASSBs at/below subzero temperatures has not been explored systematically.Herein,low temperature(LT)performance of LiNi_(0.8)Co_(0.1)Mn_(0.1)O_(2)(NCM811)|Li_(9.54)Si_(1.74)P_(1.44)S11.7Cl_(0.3)(LiSPSCl)|Li_(4)Ti_(5)O_(12)(LTO)ASSBs was investigated.By charging the ASSB to 6 V at−40℃,a capacity of 100.7 mAh∙g^(−1)at 20 mA∙g^(−1)was achieved,which is much higher than that charged to 4.3 V(4.6 mAh∙g^(−1))at−40℃.Moreover,atomic resolution microscopy revealed that the NCM811 remained almost intact even after being charged to 6 V.In contrast,NCM811 was entirely destructed when charged to 6 V at room temperature.The sharp difference arises from the large internal charge transfer resistance at LT which requires high voltage to overcome.Nevertheless,such high voltage is not harmful to the active material but beneficial to extracting most energy out of the ASSBs at LT.We also demonstrated that thinner electrolyte is favorable for LT operation of ASSBs due to the reduced ion transfer distance.This work provides new strategies to boost the capacity and energy density of sulfide-based ASSBs at LT for dedicated LT applications.Lun Zhang Xuedong Zhang Zhaoyu Rong Tao Wang Zhenyu Wang Zaifa Wang Longchen Zhang Qiao Huang Lingyun Zhu Liqiang Zhang Yongfu Tang Jianyu Huang 2023Nano Research2023,16,8:0
