1The TanSat mission: preliminary global observations显示文摘The Chinese global carbon dioxide monitoring satellite (Tan Sat) was launched successfully in December2016 and has completed its on-orbit tests and calibration. Tan Sat aims to measure the atmospheric column-averaged dry air mole fractions of carbon dioxide (XCO_2) with a precision of 4 ppm at the regional scale, and in addition, to derive global and regional CO2fluxes. Progress towards these objectives is reviewed and the first scientific results from Tan Sat measurements are presented. Tan Sat on-orbit tests indicate that the Atmospheric Carbon dioxide Grating Spectrometer is in normal working status and is beginning to produce L1B products. The preliminary Tan Sat XCO_2products have been retrieved by an algorithm and compared to NASA Orbiting Carbon Observatory-2 (OCO-2) measurements during an overlapping observation period. Furthermore, the XCO_2retrievals have been validated against eight groundsite measurement datasets from the Total Carbon Column Observing Network, for which the preliminary conclusion is that Tan Sat has met the precision design requirement, with an average bias of 2.11 ppm.The first scientific observations are presented, namely, the seasonal distributions of XCO_2over land on a global scale.Yi Liu Jing Wang Lu Yao Xi Chen Zhaonan Cai Dongxu Yang Zengshan Yin Songyan Gu Longfei Tian Naimeng Lu Daren Lyu 2018Science Bulletin2018,63,18:23
2Cooperation of PprI and DrRRA in response to extreme ionizing radiation in Deinococcus radiodurans显示文摘Deinococcus radiodurans possesses extreme resistance to ionizing radiation,and has been engineered for the remediation of toxic components in radioactive environments.We have previously shown that PprI(also named IrrE)and DrRRA are essential for the DNA protection and repair pathways that respond to ionizing radiation stress in this species.Here,we investigated the combined roles of PprI and DrRRA in resistance to gamma radiation(800 Gy).The double mutant,△drRRA△pprI,was more sensitive to gamma rays than either△drRRA or△pprI single mutants,and exhibited an elevated level of intracellular protein carbonylation,an extended delay in genome reconstitution and reduced transcriptional levels of certain DNA protection and repair proteins,such as kat,sod,recA and pprA.Interestingly,the induction of DrRRA by ionizing radiation was partially inhibited by the deletion of pprI. 3TanSat Mission Achievements: from Scientific Driving to Preliminary Observations显示文摘The Chinese global carbon dioxide monitoring satellite(TanSat)was successfully launched in December 2016 and has completed its on-orbit tests and calibration.TanSat aims to measure the atmospheric Carbon Dioxide column-averaged dry air mole fractions(X_(CO_2))with a precision of 4 ppm at the regional scale,and further to derive the CO_2 global and regional fluxes.Progress toward these objectives is reviewed and the first scientific results from TanSat measurements are presented.During the design phase,Observation System Simulation Experiments(OSSE)on TanSat measurements performed prior to launch measurements using a nadir and a glint alternative mode when considering the balance of stable measurements and reduces the flux uncertainty(64%).The constellation measurements of two satellites indicate an extra 10%improvement in flux inversion if the satellite measurements have no bias and similar precision.The TanSat on-orbit test indicates that the instrument is stable and beginning to produce X_(CO_2)products.The preliminary TanSat measurements have been validated with Total Carbon Column Observing Network(TCCON)measurements and have inter-compared with OCO-2 measurements in an overlap measurement.LIU Yi WANG Jing YAO Lu CHEN Xi CAI Zhaonan YANG Dongxu YIN Zengshan GU Songyan TIAN Longfei LU Naimeng L Daren 2018空间科学学报2018,38,5:2
4High speed cutting of AZ31 magnesium alloy显示文摘Using LBR-370 numerical control lathe,high speed cutting was applied to AZ31 magnesium alloy.The influence of cutting parameters on microstructure,surface roughness and machining hardening were investigated by using the methods of single factor and orthogonal experiment.The results show that the cutting parameters have an important effect on microstructure,surface roughness and machine hardening.The depth of stress layer,roughness and hardening present a declining tendency with the increase of the cutting speed and also increase with the augment of the cutting depth and feed rate.Moreover,we established a prediction model of the roughness,which has an important guidance on actual machining process of magnesium alloy.Liwei Lu Shaohua Hu Longfei Liu Zhenru Yin 2016Journal of Magnesium and Alloys2016,4,2:2

6Negative exponential behavior of image mutual information for pseudo-thermal light ghost imaging: observation, modeling, and verification显示文摘When using the image mutual information to assess the quality of reconstructed image in pseudothermal light ghost imaging, a negative exponential behavior with respect to the measurement number is observed. Based on information theory and a few simple and verifiable assumptions, semi-quantitative model of image mutual information under varying measurement numbers is established. It is the Gaussian characteristics of the bucket detector output probability distribution that leads to this negative exponential behavior. 7Fabrication of microwave-sensitized nanospheres of covalent organic framework with apatinib for tumor therapy显示文摘A new nanocomposite of hollow covalent organic framework(COF)conjugated with the apatinib(AP)and loading microwave-sensitizer(ionic liquid,IL)was prepared by layer by layer(LBL)method and hyaluronic acid(HA)coating,named as COF-AP-IL@HA.AP loading rate in COF hollow-spheres(~30 nm shell thickness)was~40.3%,due to the interactions of hydrogen andπ-πbonds between AP and COF shell,and acidic environment destroyed COF structure,promoting AP release.Microwave sensitization of loaded IL in COF hollow-spheres could enhance the microwave heat-effect,and combined AP therapeutic ability,leading to their higher inhibitation on tumor,due to targeting ability of HA and the local release of apatinib.88.9%of inhibition rate of COF-AP-IL@HA under microwave on the in vivo tumor was significantly higher than those without microwave(12.3%)and COF-IL@HA with microwave(37.5%),indicating a synergism of sensitized microwave hyperthermia and AP therapy on the reduced expression of VEGF via the downregulation pathway of hypoxia inducible factor.These results indicated that COF-AP-IL@HA was potential to the application in the combination therapy of tumor of the sensitized microwave hyperthermia and apatinib.Qijun Du Jian Zou Zhongbing Huang Shimei Li Longfei Tan Xiangling Ren Guangfu Yin Yongfa Zheng Xianwei Meng 2023Chinese Chemical Letters2023,34,5:0
8Benefit analysis of multi-approach biomass energy utilization toward carbon neutrality显示文摘To reduce greenhouse gas(GHG)emissions,biomass has been increasingly developed as a renewable and clean alternative to fossil fuels because of its carbon-neutral characteristics.China has been investigating the rational development and use of bioenergy for developing its clean energy and achieving carbon neutrality.Substituting fossil fuels with multi-source and multi-approach utilized bioenergy and corresponding carbon reduction in China remain largely unexplored.Here,a comprehensive bioenergy accounting model with a multi-dimensional analysis was developed by combining spatial,life cycle,and multi-path analyses.Accordingly,the bioenergy production potential and GHG emission reduction for each distinct type of biomass feedstock through different conversion pathways were estimated.The sum of all available organic waste(21.55 EJ yr^(-1))and energy plants on marginal land(11.77 EJ yr^(-1))in China produced 23.30 EJ of bioenergy and reduced 2,535.32 Mt CO_(2)-eq emissions,accounting for 19.48%and 25.61%of China’s total energy production and carbon emissions in 2020,respectively.When focusing on the carbon emission mitigation potential of substituting bioenergy for conventional counterparts,bioelectricity was the most effective,and its potential was 4.45 and 8.58 times higher than that of gaseous and liquid fuel alternatives,respectively.In this study,life cycle emission reductions were maximized by a mix of bioenergy end uses based on biomass properties,with an optimal 78.56%bioenergy allocation from biodiesel,densified solid biofuel,biohydrogen,and biochar.The main regional bioenergy GHG mitigation focused on the Jiangsu,Sichuan,Guangxi,Henan,and Guangdong provinces,contributing to 31.32%of the total GHG mitigation potential.This study provides valuable guidance on exploiting untapped biomass resources in China to secure carbon neutrality by 2060.Jiaoyue Wang Jingying Fu Zhitong Zhao Longfei Bing Fengming Xi Feng Wang Jiang Dong Shiyun Wang Gang Lin Yan Yin Qinqin Hu 2023The Innovation2023,4,3:0
9Ring-like nucleoid does not play a key role in radioresistance of Deinococcus radiodurans显示文摘The conclusion based on transmission electron microscopy, 'the tightly packed ring-like nucleoid of the Deinococcus radiodurans R1 is a key to radioresistance', has instigated lots of debates. In this study, according to the previous research of PprI’s crucial role in radioresistance of D. radiodurans, we have attempted to examine and compare the nucleoid morphology differences among wild-type D. ra-diodurans R1 strain, pprI function-deficient mutant (YR1), and pprI function-complementary strains (YR1001, YR1002, and YR1004) before and after exposure to ionizing irradiation. Fluorescence mi-croscopy images indicate: (1) the majority of nucleoid structures in radioresistant strain R1 cells ex-hibit the tightly packed ring-like morphology, while the pprI function-deficient mutant YR1 cells carrying predominate ring-like structure represent high sensitivity to irradiation; (2) as an extreme radioresistant strain similar to wild-type R1, pprI completely function-complementary strain YR1001 almost displays the loose and irregular nucleoid morphologies. On the other hand, another radioresistant pprI partly function-complementary strain YR1002’s nucleiods exhibit about 60% ring-like structure; (3) a PprI C-terminal deletion strain YR1004 consisting of approximately 60% of ring-like nucleoid is very sensi-tive to radiation.
