| 2 | Fast algorithm for simulation of normal and oblique penetration into limestone targets显示文摘A fast algorithm is proposed to predict penetration trajectory in simulation of normal and oblique penetration of a rigid steel projectile into a limestone target.The algorithm is designed based on the idea of isolation between the projectile and the target. Corresponding factors of influence are considered, including analytical load model,cratering effect, free surface effect, and separation-reattachment phenomenon. Besides, a method of cavity ring is used to study the process of cavity expansion. Further, description of the projectile's three-dimensional gesture is presented. As a result, the algorithm is coded for fast calculation, named PENE3D. A series of cases with selected normal and oblique penetrations are simulated by the algorithm. | 5 | Suggestion of EFS-small satellite system for impending earthquake forecast显示文摘In the IAF Congress ’92 a multiple small satellite Earth observation system was put forward with sensors of visible and infrared spectrums. The system could shorten the revisiting period so that any place on the world could be observed twice a day Now we extend the idea to the microwave remote sensing satellite system. The main purpose of the system is the impending forecast of earthquakes. According to the theory and long-time concrete practice of Qiang Zuji through the observation of temperature increase of the low layer of atmosphere and its moving trend caused by some sorts of radiation and gases released from Earth interior, an impending strong earthquake could be predicted in time. As the temperature increase is detected by thermo-infrared spectrum sensors on the meteorological satellites. the observation may be sometimes obstructed by cloud or rain. In the suggested system, mm-wave radiometers are used and those obstructions could be generally overcome. Besides, radiometers of some other microwave frequencies are also included so as to make the small satellite system useful for observation of atmosphere. soil and crops. The plattorm construction and the altitude control system of the satellites suitable to the sweeping radiometer antennas are stressfully implemented. | 10 | Dynamic compression behavior of TiZrNbV refractory high-entropy alloys upon ultrahigh strain rate loading显示文摘In this study,the dynamic compressive response behavior of a body-centered cubic(BCC)single-phase TiZrNbV refractory high-entropy alloy(RHEA)was investigated under impact at speeds of 313-1584 m s^(-1)using two-stage,gas-gun-driven,high-speed plate-impact experiments;recovery sample analysis;and theoretical calculations.The strain rate and pressure were approximately 10^(7) s^(−1) and 5.07-29.37 GPa,respectively.The results showed that the TiZrNbV RHEA had a Hugoniot elastic limit of 4.12-5.86 GPa and a spall strength of 1.84-2.03 GPa.The initial yield strength of the alloy showed a strong strain-rate dependence and could be described by the modified Zerilli-Armstrong model,while the phonon-damping effect was the main reason for its high strain-rate sensitivity.Microstructural analysis showed that the dynamic deformation of the TiZrNbV RHEA was controlled by the dislocation slip,dislocation proliferation,intersection of the deformation bands,and grain refinement.The analysis also showed that the intergranular,transgranular,and mixed-type cracks dominated the spall failure of the material.The dynamic Hall-Petch effect and pinning from the lattice distortion led to high dynamic yield strength.The critical strain rate for the phonon drag effect was positively related to the relative atomic mass and local strain field of the metals.Within the experimental loading range,the RHEA showed good structural stability,and simultaneously,the theoretical calculation method for the equation of state based on a cold-energy mixture could accurately predict its shock-response behavior.The valence-electron concentration(VEC)had a direct effect on the shock-compression properties of the HEAs;higher VEC implied more difficulty in compressing the HEAs.The findings of this study provide insights into understanding the mechanical response characteristics of RHEAs under extreme conditions such as high-speed impact and ultrahigh strain-rate loading. | Kerong Ren Hongyang Liu Rong Ma Sen Chen Siyuan Zhang Ruixin Wang Rong Chen Yu Tang Shun Li Fangyun Lu | 2023 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,30: | 0 |

| 12 | Vulnerability analysis of the Chinese coupled aviation and high-speed railway network显示文摘The integrated aviation and High-Speed Railway(HSR)transportation system plays a vital role for today’s inter-city transportation services.However,an increasing number of unexpected disruptions(such as operation failures,natural disasters,or intentional attacks)pose a considerable threat to the normal operation of the system,especially on ground transfer,leading to the extensive research on its vulnerability.Previous approaches mainly focus on interruptions within a single transportation mode,neglecting the role of ground transfer which serves as a coupled connection between aviation and High-Speed Railway.This paper proposes a network-based framework for evaluating the vulnerability of the Chinese Coupled Aviation and High-Speed Railway(CAHSR)network from the viewpoint of ground transfer interruption.Taking the end-to-end travel time and passenger flow information into consideration as an evaluation measure and analyzing from the perspective of urban agglomerations,an adaptive method is developed to identify the critical cities and further investigate their failure impacts on the geographic distribution of vulnerability.In addition,the proposed model explores variations of vulnerability under different failure time intervals.Based on the empirical study,some major conclusions are highlighted as follows:(A)Only a few cities show significant impacts on the network’s vulnerability when ground transfer interruptions occurred.(B)The distribution of vulnerability is not proportional to the distance between failure city and influenced city.(C)The vulnerability is more serious in the morning and evening when the ground transfer is disconnected.Our findings may provide new insights for maintenance and optimization of the CAHSR network and other real-world transportation networks. | Yiqiao WANG Xianbin CAO Fangyun QIN Lu(Carol)TONG | 2022 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2022,35,12: | 0 |
