2Laboratory investigation of coal sample permeability under the coupled effect of temperature and stress显示文摘The stress and temperature sensitivities of coal reservoirs are critical geological factors affectingcoalbed methane(CBM)well exploitation;in particular it is important to reduce or eliminate their influence on coal reservoir permeability.To investigate coal permeability behavior at various effective stresses and temperatures,CH4 permeability tests were conducted on raw coal samples under a varying effective stress of 2.0-8.0 MPa under five different temperatures(25℃-65℃)in the laboratory.The results show that the permeability of the coal samples exponentially decreases with increasing effective stress or temperature,which indicates obvious stress and temperature sensitivity.Through a dimension-less treatment of coal permeability,effective stress,and temperature,a new stress sensitivity index S and tempera-ture index ST are proposed to evaluate coal stress and temperature sensitivity evaluation parameters.These new parameters exhibit integrality and uniqueness,and,in combination with stress sensitivity coefficient αk,tempe-rature sensitivity coefficient αT,and the permeability damage rate PDR,the sensitivities of coal permeability to stress and temperature are evaluated.The results indicate that coal sample stress sensitivity decreases with increasing effective stress,while it first decreases and then increases with increasing temperature.Additionally,coal sample temperature sensitivity shows a downward trend when temperature increases and fluctuates when effective stress increases.Finally,a coupled coal permeability model considering the impacts of effective stress and temperature is established,and the main factors affecting coal reservoir permeability and their control mechanism are explored.These results can provide some theoretical guidance for the further development of deep CBM.Yina YU Zhaoping MENG Jiangjiang LI Yixin LU Caixia GAO 2022Frontiers of Earth Science2022,16,4:1
3Early Diagnosis of Bipolar Disorder Coming Soon:Application of an Oxidative Stress Injury Biomarker(BIOS)Model显示文摘Early distinction of bipolar disorder(BD)from major depressive disorder(MDD)is difficult since no tools are available to estimate the risk of BD.In this study,we aimed to develop and validate a model of oxidative stress injury for predicting BD.Data were collected from 1252 BD and 1359 MDD patients,including 64 MDD patients identified as converting to BD from 2009 through 2018.30 variables from a randomly-selected subsample of 1827(70%)patients were used to develop the model,including age,sex,oxidative stress markers(uric acid,bilirubin,albumin,and prealbumin),sex hormones,cytokines,thyroid and liver function,and glycolipid metabolism.Univariate analyses and the Least Absolute Shrinkage and Selection Operator were applied for data dimension reduction and variable selection.Multivariable logistic regression was used to construct a model for predicting bipolar disorder by oxidative stress biomarkers(BIOS)on a nomogram.Internal validation was assessed in the remaining 784 patients(30%),and independent external validation was done with data from 3797 matched patients from five other hospitals in China.10 predictors,mainly oxidative stress markers,were shown on the nomogram.The BIOS model showed good discrimination in the training sample,with an AUC of 75.1%(95%CI:72.9%–77.3%),sensitivity of 0.66,and specificity of 0.73.The discrimination was good both in internal validation(AUC 72.1%,68.6%–75.6%)and external validation(AUC 65.7%,63.9%–67.5%).In this study,we developed a nomogram centered on oxidative stress injury,which could help in the individualized prediction of BD.For better real-world practice,a set of measurements,especially on oxidative stress markers,should be emphasized using big data in psychiatry.Zhiang Niu Xiaohui Wu Yuncheng Zhu Lu Yang Yifan Shi Yun Wang Hong Qiu Wenjie Gu Yina Wu Xiangyun Long Zheng Lu Shaohua Hu Zhijian Yao Haichen Yang Tiebang Liu Yong Xia Zhiyu Chen Jun Chen Yiru Fang 2022Neuroscience Bulletin2022,38,9:1
4Self-Assembled Porous-Reinforcement Microstructure-Based Flexible Triboelectric Patch for Remote Healthcare显示文摘Realizing real-time monitoring of physiological signals is vital for preventing and treating chronic diseases in elderly individuals. However,wearable sensors with low power consumption and high sensitivity to both weak physiological signals and large mechanical stimuli remain challenges.Here, a flexible triboelectric patch(FTEP) based on porous-reinforcement microstructures for remote health monitoring has been reported. The porousreinforcement microstructure is constructed by the self-assembly of silicone rubber adhering to the porous framework of the PU sponge. The mechanical properties of the FTEP can be regulated by the concentrations of silicone rubber dilution. For pressure sensing, its sensitivity can be effectively improved fivefold compared to the device with a solid dielectric layer, reaching 5.93 kPa^(-1) under a pressure range of 0–5 kPa. In addition, the FTEP has a wide detection range up to 50 kPa with a sensitivity of 0.21 kPa^(-1). The porous microstructure makes the FTEP ultra-sensitive to external pressure, and the reinforcements endow the device with a greater deformation limit in a wide detection range. 6Anti-inflammatory and Scalp Care Efficacy of a Multi-herb Extraction against Malassezia furfur显示文摘Malassezia furfur is a lipophilic and dermatological pathogenic yeast,which normally exists on human skin,and causes tinea versicolor,seborrhoeic dermatitis,and atopic dermatitis,especially on human scalp.The multi-herb extraction VGP which consists of Vitex trifolia fruit,Gentiana scabra,and Polygonum multiflorum root extract was used to study its effect of anti-inflammation,controlling sebum and dandruff on scalp care.Results showed that on the model of NHEK and THP1 cell inflammation induced by Malassezia furfur,VGP can inhibit the expression of interleukin 6(IL-6),prostaglandin E2(PGE-2),monocyte chemoattractant protein 1(MCP-1)and interleukin 1β(IL-1β)in a dose-dependent manner under 0.01%to 0.125%concentration.On the inflammatory model of 3D reconstructed skin induced by H2O2,VGP significantly improved the cell viability and skin structure,and reduced the production of interleukin 8(IL-8),PGE-2,and leukotriene B4(LTB4).During 4 week’s treatment with test shampoo contained 0.5%VGP thrice a week on 16 subjects met with different symptom,VGP reduced the sebum content and TEWL,improved the redness,itching and dandruff on human scalp skin.Therefore,as a natural active ingredient VGP can play a role in scalp care and skin care by targeting inflammation.Lu Yina Jun Tian Wang Guoxun Liu Dong 2020China Detergent & Cosmetics2020,5,4:0

8Antibacterial,Anti-Keratinized and Anti-Inflammatory Effects of the GMP,A Multi-Herb Extraction on Acne Vulgaris显示文摘Recently reports showed that the pathobiology of acne vulgaris was arising from the exploration of sebaceous gland biology, hormonal factors, hyper-keratinization, and the role of bacteria, sebum, nutrition, cytokines and toll-like receptors (TLRs). Propionibacterium acnes (P.acnes) has a strong proinflammatory activity and targets molecules involved in the innate cutaneous immunity on keratinocytes by acting on TLR-2, leads to the development of comedones. GMP, a multi-herb extraction, targeted most of the major pathogenic features of acne with desired physicochemical traits. It strongly suppressed P.acnes growth, and reduced inflammation by suppressing the TLR-2/NF- kB pathway in SZ-95 sebocytes and HaCaT keratinocytes. GMP exhibited a marginal effect on cell viability and may have modulated hyper-keratinization of the epidermis.
