1Drying curve simulation and LF-NMR online monitor of water state in ursolic acid loaded chitosan nanoparticles during microwave freeze drying显示文摘The changes in various states of water in ursolic acid(UA)loaded chitosan nanoparticles were assessed using lowfield nuclear magnetic resonance(LF-NMR)during microwave freeze drying(MFD)process,and six thin-layer models were applied to simulate the drying kinetics.UA nanoparticles were dried at different microwave power densities(1 W/g,2 W/g and 4 W/g).The results showed that three water fractions with different transverse relaxation times(T_(2))were detected in fresh UA nanoparticles.The T_(2)relaxation time of water decreased significantly with drying time at different microwave power densities.And the mutual migration and transformation of water in different states during the drying process of chitosan nanoparticles occurred.Furthermore,mathematical model analysis showed that the Page model provided the best description during the process of UA nanoparticle dried by MFD.The Page model can better simulate the drying kinetics of chitosan nanoparticles dried by MFD,and LF-NMR technology can monitor the changes in water status of UA nanoparticles.The results revealed that LF-NMR can monitor the changes of water in UA nanoparticles during the drying process.Xing Ren Xu Duan Weiwei Cao Lujie Zhao Guangyue Ren Panpan Liu 2023International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2023,16,4:0
2High areal capacity flexible sulfur cathode based on multi-functionalized super-aligned carbon nanotubes显示文摘Rational design of a robust carbon matrix has a profound impact on the performance of flexible/wearable lithium/sulfur batteries.Herein,we demonstrate a freestanding three-dimensional super-aligned carbon nanotube (SACNT) matrix reinforced with a multi-functionalized carbon coating for flexible,high-areal sulfur loading cathode.By employing the sulfur/nitrogen co-doped carbon (SNC)'glue',the joints in the SACNT scaffold are tightly welded together so that the overall mechanical strength of the electrode is significantly enhanced to withstand the repeated bending as well as the volume change during operation.The SNC also shows intriguing catalytic effect that lowers the energy barrier of Li ion transport,propelling a superior redox conversion efficiency.The resulting binder-free and current collector-free sulfur cathode exhibits a high reversible capacity of 1,079 mAh·g^-1 at 1 C,a high-rate capacity of ~ 800 mAh·g^-1 at 5 C,and an average capacity decay rate of 0.037% per cycle at 2 C for 1,500 cycles.Impressively,a large-areal flexible Li/S pouch cell based on such mechanically robust cathode exhibits excellent capacity retention under arbitrary bending conditions.With a high areal sulfur loading of 7 mg·cm^-2,the large-areal flexible cathode delivers an outstanding areal capacity of 6.3 mAh·cm^-2 at 0.5 C (5.86 mA·cm^-2),showing its promise for realizing practical high energy density flexible Li/S batteries.Lujie Jia Jian Wang Zijin Chen Yipeng Su Wei Zhao Datao Wang Yang Wei Kaili Jiang Jiaping Wang Yang Wu Jia Li Wenhui Duan Shoushan Fan Yuegang Zhang 2019Nano Research2019,12,5:0
3Unfolding the structure-property relationships of Li_(2)S anchoring on two-dimensional materials with high-throughput calculations and machine learning显示文摘Lithium-sulfur(Li-S)batteries are notable for their high theoretical energy density,but the‘shuttle effect’and the limited conversion kinetics of Li-S species can downgrade their actual performance.An essential strategy is to design anchoring materials(AMs)to appropriately adsorb Li-S species.Herein,we propose a new three-procedure protocol,named InfoAd(Informative Adsorption)to evaluate the anchoring of Li_(2)S on two-dimensional(2D)materials and disclose the underlying importance of material features by combining high-throughput calculation workflow and machine learning(ML).In this paradigm,we calculate the anchoring of Li_(2)S on 12552D A_(x)B_(y)(B in the VIA/VIIA group)materials and pick out 44(un)reported nontoxic 2D binary A_(x)B_(y)AMs,in which the importance of the geometric features on the anchoring effect is revealed by ML for the first time.We develop a new Infograph model for crystals to accurately predict whether a material has a moderate binding with Li_(2)S and extend it to all 2D materials.Our InfoAd protocol elucidates the underlying structure-property relationship of Li_(2)S adsorption on 2D materials and provides a general research framework of adsorption-related materials for catalysis and energy/substance storage.Lujie Jin Hongshuai Wang Hao Zhao Yujin Ji Youyong Li 2023Journal of Energy Chemistry2023,,7:0
4Effects of different pretreatments on the pore structure of Chinese yam during microwave freeze drying显示文摘In order to explore the effects of different pretreatments on the pore structure of Chinese yam during Microwave Freeze Drying(MFD),the samples were treated by typical drying pretreatments including osmosis,blanching and ultrasound,and compared with the untreated samples.The results showed that the pretreatment had significant impacts on the porosity of MFD Chinese yam.Ultrasonic pretreatment could obtain the highest open porosity,and the internal pore network structure of the material showed a uniform sponge shape.The shape of pores obtained by blanching pretreatment was the most irregular.The pore network structure obtained by different pretreatments could result in various product texture and rehydration,which implied that pretreatment methods should be carefully selected according to actual requirements.All these pretreatments could improve the open porosity of MFD Chinese yam,which result in a better rehydration capability.Among them,ultrasonic treatment is worth further investigating.Hui Wang Xu Duan Lujie Zhao Liuliu Duan Guangyue Ren 2020International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2020,13,4:0
