| 8 | Investigation of rotor–stator interaction broadband noise using a RANS-informed analytical method显示文摘A Reynolds-Averaged Navier Stokes(RANS)-information analytical method for predicting Rotor-Stator Interaction(RSI)broadband noise is established in this paper.First,the turbulence information is deduced from RANS simulation result.Then,the unsteady load on the stator blade is calculated using a strip theory approach based on LINearized SUBsonic unsteady flow in cascade(LINSUB)and 2-D equivalence method.In the end,the sound power of RSI broadband noise is calculated by coupling the unsteady load on the stator blade with acoustic analogy and annular duct mode.The broadband noise model part of the RANS-information analytical method is validated against the upstream sound power of an annular cascade experimental bench.Besides,the RANS-information analytical method is used in predicting RSI broadband noise of a single-stage axial fan acoustic experimental bench,the results illustrate that the RANS-information analytical method can accurately predict the RSI broadband noise in different fan working conditions.After simplification the Wave Leading Edge(WLE)stator blade,the effect of WLE stator blade on RSI broadband noise is studies.Although the simplification may bring some discrepancies,the results illustrate that the RANS-information analytical method has the capability for further studies on the broadband noise reduction with WLE stator blade. | Hang TONG Lin LI Liangfeng WANG Luqin MAO Weiyang QIAO | 2021 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2021,34,10: | 1 |

| 10 | Lighted up by hydrogen-bonding: luminescence behavior and applications of AIEgen-doped interpenetrating network hydrogel显示文摘The interaction between the aggregation-induced emissive(AIE) luminogens(AIEgen) and the polymer is the key scientific question in the design of functional AIE hydrogels. In this study, we report the AIE behavior of a poly(acrylic acid)(PAAc) and poly(acrylamide)(PAAm) interpenetrating network(IPN) hydrogel doped with tetra-cationic tetraphenylethene(TCTPE). The cationic AIEgen can bind with PAAc through ionic interaction, while PAAc and PAAm chains can associate with each other through hydrogen-bonds(H-bonds). These two interactions can restrict the intramolecular rotation and thus activate the luminescence of the AIEgen. The PAAc-PAAm H-bonds can be broken by increasing temperature or p H, restoring the intramolecular rotation of the AIEgen and quenching the fluorescence of the hydrogel. Therefore, the TCTPE-doped IPN hydrogel is designed as temperature-and p H-sensitive displayers which can record information imprinted by photo-printing or iono-printing with good switchability and reversibility. Another application of this TCTPE-doped hydrogel is demonstrated as a luminescent soft actuator, which has fast shape deformation and editable fluorescence pattern. | 13 | Geometric heat pump:Controlling thermal transport with time-dependent modulations显示文摘The second law of thermodynamics dictates that heat simultaneously flows from the hot to cold bath on average. To go beyond this picture, a range of works in the past decade show that, other than the average dynamical heat flux determined by instantaneous thermal bias, a non-trivial flux contribution of intrinsic geometric origin is generally present in temporally driven systems. This additional heat flux provides a free lunch for the pumped heat and could even drive heat against the bias. We review here the emergence and development of this so called “geometric heat pump”, originating from the topological geometric phase effect, and cover various quantum and classical transport systems with different internal dynamics. The generalization from the adiabatic to the non-adiabatic regime and the application of control theory are also discussed. Then, we briefly discuss the symmetry restriction on the heat pump effect, such as duality, supersymmetry and time-reversal symmetry. | 16 | CREB1 contributes colorectal cancer cell plasticity by regulating lnc RNA CCAT1 and NF-κB pathways显示文摘The CREB1 gene encodes an exceptionally pleiotropic transcription factor that frequently dysregulated in human cancers.CREB1 can regulate tumor cell status of proliferation and/or migration;however,the molecular basis for this switch involvement in cell plasticity has not fully been understood yet.Here,we first show that knocking out CREB1 triggers a remarkable effect of epithelial-mesenchymal transition(EMT)and leads to the occurrence of inhibited proliferation and enhanced motility in HCT116colorectal cancer cells.By monitoring 45 cellular signaling pathway activities,we find that multiple growth-related pathways decline significantly while inflammatory pathways including NF-κB are largely upregulated in comparing between the CREB1wild-type and knocked out cells.Mechanistically,cells with CREB1 knocked out show downregulation of MYC as a result of impaired CREB1-dependent transcription of the oncogenic lnc RNA CCAT1.Interestingly,the unbalanced competition between the coactivator CBP/p300 for CREB1 and p65 leads to the activation of the NF-κB pathway in cells with CREB1 disrupted,which induces an obvious EMT phenotype of the cancer cells.Taken together,these studies identify previously unknown mechanisms of CREB1 in CRC cell plasticity via regulating lnc RNA CCAT1 and NF-κB pathways,providing a critical insight into a combined strategy for CREB1-targeted tumor therapies. | Bin Li Lisi Zheng Jiayi Ye Chenmin Zhang Jie Zhou Qiaojuan Huang Yanhua Guo Luqin Wang Peng Yu Shurong Liu Qiao Lin Yuxia Luo Hui Zhou Jianhua Yang Lianghu Qu | 2022 | Science China(Life Sciences)2022,65,8: | 0 |
