3Real-time programmable metasurface for terahertz multifunctional wave front engineering显示文摘Terahertz(THz)technologies have become a focus of research in recent years due to their prominent role in envisioned future communication and sensing systems.One of the key challenges facing the field is the need for tools to enable agile engineering of THz wave fronts.Here,we describe a reconfigurable metasurface based on GaN technology with an array-of-subarrays architecture.This subwavelength-spaced array,under the control of a 1-bit digital coding sequence,can switch between an enormous range of possible configurations,providing facile access to nearly arbitrary wave front control for signals near 0.34 THz.We demonstrate wide-angle beam scanning with 1°of angular precision over 70 GHz of bandwidth,as well as the generation of multi-beam and diffuse wave fronts,with a switching speed up to 100 MHz.This device,offering the ability to rapidly reconfigure a propagating wave front for beam-forming or diffusively scattered wide-angle coverage of a scene,will open new realms of possibilities in sensing,imaging,and networking.Feng Lan Luyang Wang Hongxin Zeng Shixiong Liang Tianyang Song Wenxin Liu Pinaki Mazumder Ziqiang Yang Yaxin Zhang Daniel M.Mittleman 2023Light(Science & Applications)2023,12,9:1

12Elman neural network for predicting aero optical imaging deviation based on improved slime mould algorithm显示文摘This research suggests a methodology to optimize Elman neural network based on improved slime mould algorithm(ISMA) to anticipate the aero optical imaging deviation.The improved Tent chaotic sequence is added to the SMA to initialize the population to accelerate the algorithm’s speed of convergence.Additionally,an improved random opposition-based learning was added to further enhance the algorithm’s performance in addressing problems that the SMA has such as weak convergence ability in the late iteration and an easy tendency to fall into local optimization in the optimization process when solving the optimization problem.Finally,the algorithm model is compared to the Elman neural network and the SMA optimization Elman neural network model.The three models are assessed using four evaluation indicators,and the findings demonstrate that the ISMA optimization model can anticipate the aero optical imaging deviation in an accurate way.XU Liang WANG Luyang XUE Wei ZHAO Shiwei ZHOU Liye 2023Optoelectronics Letters2023,19,5:0
13Analysis of light propagation characteristic in the aero-optic flow field of cone-headed vehicle with side window显示文摘Aero-optic imaging deviation research is carried out for infrared-guided vehicle with cone-head side window,with a focus on the propagation characteristics of light in an aero-optic flow field.When the light entering the aero-optic flow field from the free-stream should be close to the normal,numerous data indicate that the light is refracted away from the normal.This paper divides the aero-optic flow field into two parts and uses the gas density distribution in the aero-optic flow field to propose the hypothesis that there are two modes of refraction when light propagates through the flow field.The results show that light propagates from the optically denser medium to the optically thinner medium after passing through the shock wave and eventually leads to refraction away from the normal when the light enters the aero-optic flow field.XU Liang ZHOU Liye WANG Luyang ZHAO Shiwei WANG Tao 2024Optoelectronics Letters2024,20,1:0

16Dependence of electromagnetic wave absorption properties on the topography of Ni anchoring on reduced graphene oxide显示文摘Specific topographic Ni anchoring on reduced graphene oxide(rGO) composites show an astronomical potential as effective wave absorbers due to the synergistic electromagnetic loss effects.Herein,Ni/rGO composites with different topography were successfully prepared via hydrothermal in-situ reduction method.The structure and morphology characteristics revealed that particle-like,chain-like,coin-like and flower-like Ni were closely anchored onto rGO,respectively.The electromagnetic wave absorption(EMA) performance revealed that chain-like Ni/rGO exhibited the optimal reflection loss of-43.7 dB with a thickness of 1.8 mm as well as the EAB of 6.1 GHz at 2.0 mm among all samples due to the good impedance match and the synergistic dielectric and magnetic losses.Besides,one conclusion can be drawn that excellent magnetic coupling effect and impedance matching were the main reasons for significantly improving the EMA performance.Considering the systematic dependence of morphology on EMA,this work provides a perspective for designing high-performance absorbing materials.Luyang Liang Zhaoyang Li Zhongyi Bai Yuezhan Feng Xiaoqin Guo Jianmin Ma Chuntai Liu 2021Chinese Chemical Letters2021,32,2:0
17The existence of a nonclassical TCA cycle in the nucleus that wires the metabolic-epigenetic circuitry显示文摘The scope and variety of the metabolic intermediates from the mitochondrial tricarboxylic acid(TCA)cycle that are engaged in epigenetic regulation of the chromatin function in the nucleus raise an outstanding question about how timely and precise supply/consumption of these metabolites is achieved in the nucleus.We report here the identification of a nonclassical TCA cycle in the nucleus(nTCA cycle).We found that all the TCA cycle-associated enzymes including citrate synthase(CS),aconitase 2(ACO2),isocitrate dehydrogenase 3(IDH3),oxoglutarate dehydrogenase(OGDH),succinyl-CoA synthetase(SCS),fumarate hydratase(FH),and malate dehydrogenase 2(MDH2),except for succinate dehydrogenase(SDH),a component of electron transport chain for generating ATP,exist in the nucleus.We showed that these nuclear enzymes catalyze an incomplete TCA cycle similar to that found in cyanobacteria.We propose that the nTCA cycle is implemented mainly to generate/consume metabolic intermediates,not for energy production.We demonstrated that the nTCA cycle is intrinsically linked to chromatin dynamics and transcription regulation.Together,our study uncovers the existence of a nonclassical TCA cycle in the nucleus that links the metabolic pathway to epigenetic regulation.Xujun Liu Wenzhe Si Lin He Jianguo Yang Yani Peng Jie Ren Xiaoping Liu Tong Jin Huajing Yu Zihan Zhang Xiao Cheng Wenting Zhang Lu Xia Yunchao Huang Yue Wang Shumeng Liu Lin Shan Yu Zhang Xiaohan Yang Haixia Li Jing Liang Luyang Sun Yongfeng Shang 2021Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2021,6,12:0
