1Fouling corrosion in aluminum heat exchangers显示文摘Fouling deposits on aluminum heat exchanger reduce the heat transfer efficiency and cause corrosion to the apparatus.This study focuses on the corrosive behavior of aluminum coupons covered with a layer of artificial fouling in a humid atmosphere by their weight loss,Tafel plots,electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS),and scanning electron microscope(SEM)observations.The results reveal that chloride is one of the major elements found in the fouling which damages the passive film and initiates corrosion.The galvanic corrosion between the metal and the adjacent carbon particles accelerates the corrosive process.Furthermore,the black carbon favors the moisture uptake,and gives the dissolved oxygen greater chance to migrate through the fouling layer and form a continuous diffusive path.The corrosion rate decreasing over time is conformed to electrochemistry measurements and can be verified by Faraday’s law.The EIS results indicate that the mechanism of corrosion can be interpreted by the pitting corrosion evolution mechanism,and that pitting was observed on the coupons by SEM after corrosive exposure.Su Jingxin Ma Minyu Wang Tianjing Guo Xiaomei Hou Liguo Wang Zhiping 2015Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2015,28,3:5

3Recurrent neural network for vehicle dead-reckoning显示文摘For vehicle integrated navigation systems, real-time estimating states of the dead reckoning (DR) unit is much more difficult than that of the other measuring sensors under indefinite noises and nonlinear characteristics. Compared with the well known, extended Kalman filter (EKF), a recurrent neural network is proposed for the solution, which not only improves the location precision and the adaptive ability of resisting disturbances, but also avoids calculating the analytic derivation and Jacobian matrices of the nonlinear system model. To test the performances of the recurrent neural network, these two methods are used to estimate the state of the vehicle’s DR navigation system. 10Fast Growth of Highly Ordered TiO2 Nanotube Arrays on Si Substrate under High-Field Anodization显示文摘Highly ordered TiO_2 nanotube arrays(NTAs) on Si substrate possess broad applications due to its high surfaceto-volume ratio and novel functionalities, however, there are still some challenges on facile synthesis. Here, we report a simple and cost-effective high-field(90–180V) anodization method to grow highly ordered TiO_2 NTAs on Si substrate,and investigate the effect of anodization time, voltage, and fluoride content on the formation of TiO_2 NTAs. The current density–time curves, recorded during anodization processes, can be used to determine the optimum anodization time. It is found that the growth rate of TiO_2 NTAs is improved significantly under high field, which is nearly 8 times faster than that under low fields(40–60 V). 11Enhancing THz fingerprint detection on the planar surface of an inverted dielectric metagrating显示文摘Terahertz(THz)molecular fingerprint sensing provides a powerful label-free tool for the detection of traceamount samples.Due to the weak light–matter interaction,various metallic or dielectric metasurfaces have been adopted to enhance fingerprint absorbance signals.However,they suffer from strong background damping or complicated sample coating on patterned surfaces.Here,we propose an inverted dielectric metagrating and enhance the broadband THz fingerprint detection of trace analytes on a planar sensing surface.Enhancement of the broadband signal originates from the effects of evanescent waves at the planar interface,which are excited by multiplexed quasi-bound states in the continuum(quasi-BICs).One can evenly boost the near-field intensities within the analytes by tuning the asymmetry parameter of quasi-BIC modes.The multiplexing mechanism of broadband detection is demonstrated by manipulating the incident angle of excitation waves and thickness of the waveguide layer.Compared to the conventional approach,the THz fingerprint peak value is dramatically elevated,and the largest peak enhancement time is 330.Our work gives a promising way to facilitate the metasensing of the THz fingerprint on a planar surface and will inspire universal THz spectral analysis for trace analytes with different physical states or morphologies.XUEYING LIU WEI CHEN YONGJIE MA YINONG XIE JUN ZHOU LIGUO ZHU YADONG XU JINFENG ZHU 2022Photonics Research2022,10,12:1

13Degradation behavior of ZE21C magnesium alloy suture anchors and their effect on ligament-bone junction repair显示文摘Current materials comprising suture anchors used to reconstruct ligament-bone junctions still have limitation in biocompatibility,degradability or mechanical properties.Magnesium alloys are potential bone implant materials,and Mg^(2+) has been shown to promote ligament-bone healing.Here,we used Mg-2 wt.%Zn-0.5 wt.%Y-1 wt.%Nd-0.5 wt.%Zr(ZE21C)alloy and Ti6Al4V(TC4)alloy to prepare suture anchors to reconstruct the patellar ligament-tibia in SD rats.We studied the degradation behavior of the ZE21C suture anchor via in vitro and in vivo experiments and assessed its reparative effect on the ligament-bone junction.In vitro,the ZE21C suture anchor degraded gradually,and calcium and phosphorus products accumulated on its surface during degradation.In vivo,the ZE21C suture anchor could maintain its mechanical integrity within 12 weeks of implantation in rats.The tail of the ZE21C suture anchor in high stress concentration degraded rapidly during the early implantation stage(0-4weeks),while bone healing accelerated the degradation of the anchor head in the late implantation stage(4-12weeks).Radiological,histological,and biomechanical assays indicated that the ZE21C suture anchor promoted bone healing above the suture anchor and fibrocartilaginous interface regeneration in the ligament-bone junction,leading to better biomechanical strength than the TC4 group.Hence,this study provides a basis for further research on the clinical application of degradable magnesium alloy suture anchors.Delin Ma Jun Wang Mingran Zheng Yuan Zhang Junfei Huang Wenxiang Li Yiwen Ding Yunhao Zhang Shijie Zhu Liguo Wang Xiaochao Wu Shaokang Guan 2023Bioactive Materials2023,,8:1

15In situ fabrication of 2D SnS2 nanosheets as a new electron transport layer for perovskite solar cells显示文摘To promote commercialization of perovskite solar cells (PSCs), low-temperatureprocessed electron transport layer (ETL) with high carrier mobility still needs tobe further developed. Here, we reported two-dimensional (2D) tin disulfide(SnS2) nanosheets as ETL in PSCs for the first time. The morphologies of the 2DSnS2 material can be easy controlled by the in situ synthesized method on theconductive fluorine-doped fin oxide (FTO) substrate. We achieved a championpower conversion efficiency (PCE) of 13.63%, with the short-circuit currentdensity (Jsc) of 23.70 mA/cm2 open-circuit voltage (Voc) of 0.95 V, and fill factor(FF) of 0.61. The high Jsc of PSCs results from effective electron collection ofthe 2D SnS2 nanosheets from perovskite layer and fast electron transport tothe FTO. The low Voc and FF are the results of the lower conduction band of 2DSnS2 (4.23 eV) than that of TiO2 (4.0 eV). 20Numerical simulations on origin of Galilean moons' magnetic anomalies显示文摘Galileo mission detected the magnetic anomalies originated from Galilean moons.These anomalies are likely generated in the moons' interiors,under the influence of a strong ambient Jovian field.Among various possible generation mechanisms of the anomalies,we focus on magneto-convection and dynamos in the interiors via numerical simulation.To mimic the electromagnetic environment of the moons,we introduce in our numerical model an external uniform magnetic field B0 with a fixed orientation but varying field strength.Our results show that a finite B0 can substantially alter the dynamo processes inside the core.When the ambient field strength B0 increases to approximately 40% of the field generated by the pure dynamo action,the convective state in the core changes significantly:the convective flow decreases by 80% in magnitude,but the differential rotation becomes stronger in much of the fluid layer,leading to a stronger field generated in the core.The field morphologies inside the core tend to align with the ambient field,while the flow patterns show the symmetry-breaking effect under the influence of B0.Furthermore,the generated field tends to be temporally more stable.JIAO LiGuo KUANG WeiJia MA ShiZhuang 2011Science China Earth Sciences2011,54,11:1
