1Autophagy and cancer treatment: four functional forms of autophagy and their therapeutic applications显示文摘Cancer is the leading cause of death worldwide. Drugs play a pivotal role in cancer treatment, but the complex biological processes of cancer cells seriously limit the efficacy of various anticancer drugs. Autophagy, a self-degradative system that maintains cellular homeostasis, universally operates under normal and stress conditions in cancer cells. The roles of autophagy in cancer treatment are still controversial because both stimulation and inhibition of autophagy have been reported to enhance the effects of anticancer drugs. Thus, the important question arises as to whether we should try to strengthen or suppress autophagy during cancer therapy. Currently, autophagy can be divided into four main forms according to its different functions during cancer treatment: cytoprotective(cell survival), cytotoxic(cell death), cytostatic(growth arrest), and nonprotective(no contribution to cell death or survival). In addition, various cell death modes, such as apoptosis, necrosis, ferroptosis, senescence, and mitotic catastrophe, all contribute to the anticancer effects of drugs. The interaction between autophagy and these cell death modes is complex and can lead to anticancer drugs having different or even completely opposite effects on treatment. Therefore, it is important to understand the underlying contexts in which autophagy inhibition or activation will be beneficial or detrimental.That is, appropriate therapeutic strategies should be adopted in light of the different functions of autophagy. 2New experimental method for inundation effect of film condensation on horizontal tube bundle显示文摘Theory of film condensation heat transfer(FCHT) for vapor condensed on horizontal tube bundle(HTB) is vital to many industry processes.Meanwhile,the inundation effect is the key to model the film condensation heat transfer coefficient(CHTC) on HTB.This paper proposed a new experimental method,homologous method,to obtain the inundation effect precisely.Based on the requirements of the new test method,a new test facility was designed and established.Then,the superiority of homologous method for inundation effect was investigated based on experiment result and theoretic analysis.The results showed that the homogenous method can effectively control the experimental error of inundation effect,which is less than 50% of the error of CHTC,and less than 30% of the error of the inundation effect gained by routine method.The new test facility built for the homogenous method is excellent in obtaining the accurate inundation effect of film condensation on HTB.All the result is a foundation of the theoretical development of the FCHT on HTB.MA ZhiXian ZHANG JiLi SUN DeXing 2012Science China(Technological Sciences)2012,55,10:3

6Irreversible Electroporation for Hepatocellular Carcinoma Abutting the Diaphragm:A Prospective Single-center Study显示文摘Background and Aims:Irreversible electroporation(IRE)is an emerging local ablation therapy which may be effective for unresectable tumors.This study aimed to evaluate the safety and efficacy of percutaneous IRE in the treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)abutting the diaphragm.Methods:A total of 26 participants with 39 tumors abutting the diaphragm were prospectively evaluated between July 2015 and September 2018.Complications associated with IRE were recorded,and the survival benefit of IRE was analyzed.The factors associated with time to local tumor progression(LTP)were analyzed using univariate and multivariate Cox regression models.Results:No major complications or treatmentrelated deaths occurred.The technical success rate was 96.2%(25/26)and complete ablation rate was 92.3%(36/39).The median followup period was 16.7 months(range:3.0-43.0 months),the LTP occurred in 15.2%of tumors and median time to LTP was 20.4 months.Overall,tumor size(hazard ratio:1.24[95%confidence interval:0.38,3.81],p=0.03)was the only factor associated with time to LTP.Conclusions:This study shows for the first time that percutaneous IRE is a safe and effective ablation technology for HCC abutting the diaphragm.Yangyang Ma Zhixian Chen Bing Liang Rongrong Li Jianyu Li Zhonghai Li Mao Lin Lizhi Niu 2022Journal of Clinical and Translational Hepatology2022,10,2:0

9A dynamic influence model of social network hotspot based on grey system显示文摘The outbreak of hotspot in social network may contain complex dynamic genesis. Using user behavior data from hotspots in social network, we study how different user groups play different roles for a hotspot topic. Firstly, by analyzing users' behavior records, we mine group situation that promotes the hotspot.Several major attributions in a hotspot outbreak, such as individual, peer and group triggers, are defined formally according to the view-point of social identity, social interaction, retweet depth and opinion leader. Secondly,for the problem of the uneven and sparse data in each stage of hotspot topic's life cycle, we propose a dynamic influence model based on grey system to formalize the effect of different groups. Then the process of hotspot evolution driven by distinct crowd is showed dynamically.
