| 1 | Pollen Typhae Total Flavone Inhibits Endoplasmic Reticulum Stress-Induced Apoptosis in Human Aortic-Vascular Smooth Muscle Cells through Down-Regulating PERK-eIF2α-ATF4-CHOP Pathway显示文摘Objective: To test the hypothesis that the inhibition of endoplasmic reticulum(ER) stress-induced apoptosis in oxidized low-density lipoproteins(ox-LDL)-induced human aortic-vascular smooth muscle cells(HA-VSMCs) was associated with suppression of the protein kinase RNA-like ER kinase(PERK)-eukaryotic translation initiation factor 2α(e IF2α)-activating transcription factor 4(ATF4)-CCAAT/enhancer binding protein homologous protein(CHOP) signaling pathway by Pollen Typhae total flavone(PTF). Methods: Primary HA-VSMCs were cultured and identified. The cultured HA-VSMCs were randomized into 5 groups, including a normal control group, an ox-LDL group(70 μg/m L high ox-LDL), an HPTF group(70 μg/m L high ox-LDL+500 μg/m L PTF), an MPTF group(70 μg/m L high ox-LDL+250 μg/m L PTF), and a LPTF group(70 μg/m L high ox-LDL+100 μg/m L PTF) in the first part;and a normal control group, an ox-LDL group(70 μg/mL high ox-LDL), an MPTF group(70 μg/m L high ox-LDL+250 μg/m L PTF), a sh RNA group(transducted with PERK shRNA lentiviral particles), a scramble shRNA group(transducted with control shRNA lentiviral particles), an MPTF+ox-LDL+shRNA group(250 μg/mL PTF+70 μg/mL high ox-LDL+PERK shRNA lentiviral particles) and an ox-LDL+shRNA group(70 μg/mL high ox-LDL+PERK shRNA lentiviral particles) in the second part. The protein expression levels of ER-associated apoptosis proteins were detected by Western blot, and their m RNA expression levels were detected by quantitative real-time reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction. The 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide(MTT) assay was applied to test cel viability, and the level of apoptosis was monitored by flow cytometry. Results: The MTT assay and flow cytometry showed that the ox-LDL group had a significant increase in apoptosis, which was attenuated in PTF treatment groups and sh RNA groups. Moreover, the ox-LDL group had increased protein and m RNA levels of binding immunoglobulin protein and ER-associated apoptosis proteins, such as PERK, e IF2α, ATF4 and CHOP, which were attenuated in PTF treatment groups and sh RNA groups. Conclusions: The apoptosis induced by ox-LDL had a strong relation to ER stress. | 2 | Facile synthesis of bimodal macroporous g-C_3N_4/SnO_2 nanohybrids with enhanced photocatalytic activity显示文摘It is of vital importance to construct highly interconnected,macroporous photocatalyst to improve its efficiency and applicability in solar energy conversion and environment remediation.Graphitic-like C_3N_4(g-C_3N_4),as an analogy to two-dimensional(2D)graphene,is highly identified as a visible-lightresponsive polymeric semiconductor.Moreover,the feasibility of g-C_3N_4 in making porous structures has been well established.However,the preparation of macroporous g-C_3N_4 with abundant porous networks and exposure surface,still constitutes a difficulty.To solve it,we report a first facile preparation of bimodal macroporous g-C_3N_4 hybrids with abundant in-plane holes,which is simply enabled by in-situ modification through thermally treating the mixture of thiourea and SnCl_4(pore modifier)after rotary evaporation.For one hand,the formed in-plane macropores endow the g-C_3N_4 system with plentiful active sites and short,cross-plane diffusion channels that can greatly speed up mass transport and transfer.For another,the heterojunctions founded between g-C_3N_4 and SnO_2 consolidate the electron transfer reaction to greatly reduce the recombination probability.As a consequence,the resulted macroporous gC_3N_4/SnO_2 nanohybrid had a high specific surface area(SSA)of 44.3 m^2/g that was quite comparable to most nano/mesoporous g-C_3N_4 reported.The interconnected porous network also rendered a highly intensified light absorption by strengthening the light penetration.Together with the improved mass transport and electron transfer,the macroporous g-C_3N_4/SnO_2 hybrid exhibited about 2.4-fold increment in the photoactivity compared with pure g-C_3N_4.Additionally,the recyclability of such hybrid could be guaranteed after eight successive uses. | Yingzhi Chen Wenhao Li Dongjian Jiang Kuo Men Zhen Li Ling Li Shizheng Sun Jingyuan Li Zheng-Hong Huang Lu-Ning Wang | 2019 | Science Bulletin2019,64,1: | 7 |

| 7 | Oxidation mechanism of three Fe-Al alloys with and without addition of 0.1 at% yttrium at 800℃显示文摘The isothermal oxidation behavior of Fe-10 Al,Fe-15 Al,Fe-20 Al alloys with and without the addition of0.1 at% Y was studied at 800℃ under 1×105 Pa of flowing pure O2 for 24 h.The oxidation of three Fe-Al alloys can be divided into transient state and steady state oxidation stages.The oxidation of each stage is approximately in accordance with the parabolic law.The addition of 0.1 at% Y changes the oxidation behavior obviously and leads to a significant increase of the weight gain of Fe-10 Al and Fe-15 Al.The scale grown on Fe-10 Al is much thicker and more complicated than that grown on Fe-20 Al,which is composed of an exclusive thin layer of Al2 O3 protective film.Due to the formation of a large number of nodules,the scales grown on Fe-15 AI cannot provide full protection for the alloy.Scale micro structure of the three Fe-Al-0.1 Y alloys is similar to their corresponding Fe-Al alloys.However,nodules with very small size still appear on the surface of Fe-20 Al-0.1 Y alloy.The critical Al concentration to form an exclusive Al2 O3 protective layer for Fe-Al binary alloy is on the borderline between 15 at%-20 at%.For Fe-Al-0.1 Y alloy,the presence of 20 at% Al is not enough to inhibit the growth of nodules. | Xunhu Xu Hua Wei Junhuai Xiang Ling Wang Mingfeng Liu Honghua Zhang Dandan Men Jiangshan An | 2020 | Journal of Rare Earths2020,38,10: | 0 |

| 9 | Investigation of AlN Thin Films as Buried Insulator in SOI Structure显示文摘Self heating effects in silicon on insulator (SOI) devices limit the applicability of SOI materials in electronics in cases where high power dissipation is expected. AlN film as a potential candidate for buried insulator material in SOI structures is investigated. Ion beam enhanced deposition (IBED) is used to manufacture large area AlN films. SIMS measurements indicate the formation of AlN films. The characterization of the films reveals that the quality of the films strongly depends on the evaporation rate of Al. For the film with high quality deposited at 0.05 nm/s, it has higher component of N, excellent dielectric property and a smoother surface with roughness RMS value of 0.13 nm, and can be bonded directly at room temperature by the smart cut process.
