1Effects of urea plus nitrate pretreated rice straw and corn oil supplementation on fiber digestibility,nitrogen balance,rumen fermentation,microbiota and methane emissions in goats显示文摘Background: Urea pretreatment is an efficient strategy to improve fiber digestibility of low quality roughages for ruminants. Nitrate and oil are usually used to inhibit enteric methane(CH4) emissions from ruminants. The objective of this study was to examine the combined effects of urea plus nitrate pretreated rice straw and corn oil supplementation to the diet on nutrient digestibility, nitrogen(N) balance, CH4 emissions, ruminal fermentation characteristics and microbiota in goats. Nine female goats were used in a triple 3 × 3 Latin Square design(27 d periods). The treatments were: control(untreated rice straw, no added corn oil), rice straw pretreated with urea and nitrate(34 and 4.7 g/kg of rice straw on a dry matter [DM] basis, respectively, UN), and UN diet supplemented with corn oil(15 g/kg soybean and15 g/kg corn were replaced by 30 g/kg corn oil, DM basis, UNCO).Results: Compared with control, UN increased neutral detergent fiber(NDF) digestibility(P < 0.001) and copies of protozoa(P < 0.001) and R. albus(P < 0.05) in the rumen, but decreased N retention(-21.2%, P < 0.001), dissolved hydrogen concentration(-22.8%, P < 0.001), molar proportion of butyrate(-18.2%, P < 0.05),(acetate + butyrate) to propionate ratio(P < 0.05) and enteric CH4 emissions(-10.2%, P < 0.05). In comparison with UN, UNCO increased N retention(+34.9%, P < 0.001) and decreased copies of protozoa(P < 0.001) and methanogens(P < 0.001). Compared with control, UNCO increased NDF digestibility(+8.3%, P < 0.001), reduced ruminal dissolved CH4 concentration(-24.4%, P < 0.001) and enteric CH4 emissions(-12.6%, P < 0.05).Conclusions: A combination of rice straw pretreated with urea plus nitrate and corn oil supplementation of the diet improved fiber digestibility and lowered enteric CH4 emissions without negative effects on N retention. 2Anisotropy of the crystallographic orientation and corrosion performance of high-strength AZ80 Mg alloy显示文摘A high-strength AZ80 Mg alloy was prepared through multi-direction forging,thermal extrusion,and peak-aged heat treatment.The microstructure,crystallographic orientation and corrosion performance of extrusion-direction,transverse-direction,and normal-direction specimens were investigated using scanning electron microscopy,electron backscatter diffraction,and atomic force microscopy,respectively.Experimental results showed that crystallographic orientation significantly influenced the corrosion performance of AZ80 Mg alloy.Corrosion rates largely increased with decreased(0001)crystallographic plane intensity,whereas the(10−10)and(2−1−10)crystallographic plane intensities increased.This study showed that the corrosion rates of alloy can be modified to some extent by controlling texture,thereby promoting the applications of high-strength AZ80 Mg alloys in the aerospace and national-defense fields.Quantong Jiang Xiumin Ma Kui Zhang Yantao Li Xinggang Li Yongjun Li Minglong Ma Baorong Hou 2015Journal of Magnesium and Alloys2015,3,4:5
3Enhanced photoelectrochemical cathodic protection performance of MoS_(2)/TiO_(2)nanocomposites for 304 stainless steel under visible light显示文摘In this work,TiO_(2)nanotube arrays(NTAs)sensitized with MoS_(2)microspheres(MoS_(2)/TiO_(2)nanocomposites)were prepared on a flat Ti substrate via two-step anodization and hydrothermal method sequentially.TiO_(2)NTAs were composed of many orderly nanotubes,whose large specific surface area was favorable for light absorption and MoS_(2)microsphere adhesion.The MoS_(2)microsphere as a narrow band gap semiconductor extended the TiO_(2)NTAs’absorption band edge to the visible region.The 2D structure of MoS_(2)microspheres and the construction of heterojunction electronic field at the interface of MoS_(2)microspheres and TiO_(2)NTAs promoted the separation of photoinduced carriers.The MoS_(2)/TiO_(2)nanocomposites could provide higher photoelectrochemical cathodic protection for 304 stainless steel(304 SS)under visible light than pristine TiO_(2)NTAs.Xiumin Ma Zheng Ma Dongzhu Lu Quantong Jiang Leilei Li Tong Liao Baorong Hou 2021Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,5:5
4Process Analysis of In-situ Strain during the M_s8.0 Wenchuan Earthquake—Data from the Stress Monitoring Station at Shandan显示文摘There were huge life and property losses during the M_s8.0 Wenchuan earthquake on May 12,2008.Strain fluctuation curves were completely recorded at stress observatory stations in the Qinghai-Tibet plateau and its surroundings in the process of the earthquake.This paper introduces the geological background of the Wenchuan earthquake and the profile of in-situ stress monitoring stations.In particular,data of 174 earthquakes(M_s4.0-M_s8.5) were processed and analyzed with various methods,which were recorded at the Shandan station from August 2007 to December 2008. The results were compared with other seismic data,and further analyses were done for the recoded strain seismic waves,co-seismic strain stepovers,pre-earthquake strain valleys,Earth's free oscillations before and after the earthquake and their physical implications.During the Wenchuan earthquake,the strainmeter recorded a huge extensional strain of 70 seconds,which shows that the Wenchuan earthquake is a rupture process predominated by thrusting.Significant precursory strain anomalies were detected 48 hours,30 hours,8 hours and 37 minutes before the earthquake.The anomalies are very high and their forms are very similar to that of the main shock.Similar anomalies can also be found in strain curves of other shocks greater than M_s7.0,indicating that such anomalies are prevalent before a great earthquake.In this paper,it is shown that medium aftershocks(M_s5.5- 6.0) can also cause Earth's free oscillations.Study of free oscillations is of great significance to understand the internal structure of the Earth and focal mechanisms of earthquakes and to recognize slow shocks,thus providing a scientific basis for the prevention and treatment of geological disasters and the prediction of future earthquakes.PENG Hua MA Xiumin JIANG Jingjie 2009Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2009,83,4:3
5Nanostructured amorphous Fe_(29)Co_(27)Ni_(23)Si_(9)B_(12) high-entropy-alloy:an efficient electrocatalyst for oxygen evolution reaction显示文摘Proximal configu ration of dissimilar metal atoms in amorphous high-entropy-alloys(HEAs) always re sult in interatomic d-band ligand effect,dense defect distribution,coordinatively unsaturated sites,high potential energy,and loose atom bonding.Herein,nanostructured amorphous Fe_(29)Co_(27)Ni_(23)Si_(9)B_(12) HEA ribbon is fabricated via a melt spinning method combined with electrochemical corrosion etching process,which is applied as the potential oxygen evolution reaction electrocatalyst.It is found that there are micro/nano pits on the surface of etched amorphous Fe_(29)Co_(27)Ni_(23)Si_(9)B_(12) ribbons.Various elements of HEAs bond with each other to form a highly disordered configu ration,which could result in an optimized bonding energy and enhanced intrinsic catalytic activity.The electrocatalysis activity measurements indicate that the amorphous HEA endows a much higher activity than the crystalline one,which is further improved by the electrochemical etching treatment.Especially,the HEA ribbon etched for 3 h requires a low overpotential of 230 mV to afford 10 mA cm^(-2) current density.In addition,density functional theory calculations demonstrate that the amorphous structure can weaken the interaction between the surface of Fe_(29)Co_(27)Ni_(23)Si_(9)B_(12) alloy and the intermediates,leading to an optimized adsorption Gibbs free energy.Hongyan Wang Ran Wei Xiumin Li Xuli Ma Xiaogang Hao Guoqing Guan 2021Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,9:3

7Improved Reduced Latency Soft-Cancellation Algorithm for Polar Decoding显示文摘Soft-cancellation(SCAN) is a soft output iterative algorithm widely used in polar decoding. This algorithm has better decoding performance than reduced latency soft-cancellation(RLSC) algorithm, which can effectively reduce the decoding delay of SCAN algorithm by 50% but has obvious performance loss. A modified reduced latency soft-cancellation(MRLSC) algorithm is presented in the paper. Compared with RLSC algorithm, LLR information storage required in MRLSC algorithm can be reduced by about 50%, and better decoding performance can be achieved with only a small increase in decoding delay. The simulation results show that MRLSC algorithm can achieve a maximum block error rate(BLER) performance gain of about 0.4 dB compared with RLSC algorithm when code length is 2048. At the same time, compared with the performance of several other algorithms under(1024, 512) polar codes, the results show that the throughput of proposed MRLSC algorithm has the advantage at the low and medium signal-to-noise ratio(SNR) and better BLER performance at the high SNR.Xiumin Wang Rui Gu Jun Li Qiangqiang Ma 2020China Communications2020,17,5:2
