1Nomograms based on HPV load for predicting survival in cervical squamous cell carcinoma: An observational study with a longterm follow-up显示文摘Objective: To investigate the prognostic value of pretreatment human papillomavirus(HPV) viral load for cervical cancer, and to develop nomograms based on HPV load and other clinicopathological factors for long-term survival.Methods: We conducted a prospective study on cervical squamous cell carcinoma(SCC) patients diagnosed between January 2003 and December 2008. Cervical samples were tested for HPV viral load by the Hybrid Capture II(HCII) assay before treatment and 6 months after treatment. Clinical characteristics and follow-up information were also collected. A multivariable Cox proportional hazards model was used to adjust covariates in both the radical hysterectomy(RH) treatment group and concurrent chemoradiotherapy(CCRT) treatment group to identify relevant covariates, and then nomograms were constructed and used for internal validation.Results: A total of 520 SCC patients enrolled in this study with a median follow-up of 127 months, 360 patients received RH, whereas 160 patients received CCRT. The median HPV viral load in RH and CCRT groups was356.10 and 294.29, respectively. Tumor size was positively correlated with high pretreatment HPV load in both groups. In CCRT group, the advanced International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics(FIGO) stage and enlarged retroperitoneal lymph node status determined by computed tomography(LNSCT) were correlated with low HPV load group. Initial HPV viral load, FIGO stage and lymph node metastasis were prognostic factors for RH group, whereas HPV viral load, squamous cell carcinoma antigen(SCC-Ag) level and LNSCT were identified as prognostic factors for CCRT group. Nomograms incorporating these predictors for 10-year progression-free survival(PFS) were constructed [concordance index(C-index): 0.756, 0.749].Conclusions: A low pretreatment HPV viral load is an independent prognostic factor for poor prognosis of cervical SCC and is related to other clinicopathological factors. 4Wide temperature range-and damage-tolerant microsupercapacitors from salt-tolerant, anti-freezing and self-healing organohydrogel via dynamic bonds modulation显示文摘The advance of microelectronics requires the micropower of microsupercapacitors(MSCs) to possess wide temperature-and damage-tolerance beyond high areal energy density.The properties of electrolyte are crucial for MSCs to meet the above requirements.Here,an organohydrogel electrolyte,featured with high salt tolerance,ultralow freezing point,and strong self-healing ability,is experimentally realized via modulating its inner dynamic bonds.Spectroscopic and theoretical analysis reveal that dimethyl sulfoxide has the ability to reconstruct Li^(+)solvation structure,and interact with free water and polyvinyl alcohol chains via forming hydrogen bonds.The organohydrogel electrolyte is employed to build MSCs,which show a boosted energy density,promising wide temperature range-and damage-tolerant ability.These attractive features make the designed organohydrogel electrolyte have great potential to advance MSCs.Cheng Tang Manni Li Yaling Wang Yan Zhang Yinzhuo Yao Guolong Wang Jiamei Liu Lei Li 2023Journal of Energy Chemistry2023,,3:0
5Electrode structure enabling dendrite inhibition for high cycle stability quasi-solid-state lithium metal batteries显示文摘Lithium(Li)metal batteries(LMBs)are widely regarded as the ultimate choice for the next generation of high-energy–density batteries.However,the uncontrollable growth of Li dendrites formed by inhomogeneous deposition seriously hinders its commercialization.Although many studies have achieved significant results in inhibiting the formation of Li dendrites,it is still impossible to eradicate them completely.Therefore,regulating the deposition behavior,such as the growth direction of unevenly deposited Li,is preferable to unilaterally suppressing them in some cases.Here we report a structured anode that can confine the deposited Li within holes and tune it to become vertical-up/horizontal-centripetal mixed growth mode by optimizing the electric field/Li^(+)concentration gradient.The Li^(+) adsorbed by the poly(amic acid)(PAA)insulating layer coated on the anode surface can form the Li^(+)concentration gradient pointing to the center of the hole.Combined with the special electric field formed by the hole structure,it is favorable for the Li^(+)to move into the vertically arrayed holes and simultaneously deposit on the bottom and walls.Furthermore,both in-situ and ex-situ observations confirm that the growth mode is changed and the Li deposition morphology is denser,which can greatly delay capacity fading and prolong cycle life in both liquid and quasi-solid-state LMBs.All the results show that the novel anode provides a new perspective for deep research into solid-state LMBs.Kaiming Wang Ao Yu Zhiyi Zhou Fei Shen Manni Li Liang Zhang Weichang Guo Yifei Chen Le Shi Xiaogang Han 2023Journal of Energy Chemistry2023,,4:0
6Analysis of Prognosis and Prognostic Factors of Cervical Adenocarcinoma and Adenosqumous Carcinoma of the Cervix显示文摘OBJECTIVE To analyze clinical characteristics and treatmentmethods of the patients with adenocarcinoma of the uterine cervix(AUC) and adenosquamous carcinoma of the cervix (ASCC). Tocompare the survival time of the patients in 2 groups and analyzethe prognostic factors.METHODS Clinical data of both 123 patients with AUC and32 patients with ASCC treated at the Cancer Hospital, ChineseAcademy of Medical Science (CAMS) & Peking Union MedicalCollege (PUMC), were retrospectively analyzed.RESULTS The median age of the AUC patients was 50 years, andthat of the ASCC patients was 44, P = 0.019. Poorly-differentiated(grade 3) cases accounted for 59.5% of the total ASCC patients,while only 32.5% of the AUC patients were in grade 3, P = 0.002.In 123 AUC patients, relapse or failure of the treatment occurredin 63 of the patients (51.2%), and the median relapse time was6 months (0-59 months). In 32 ASCC patients, relapse or failureof the treatment occurred in 8 of these patients (51.2%), with amedian relapse time of 4.5 months (0-52 months). The overall5-year survival rate of the AUC patients was 49.8%, which wassignificantly lower than that of the ASCC patients (74.1%), P =0.015. The 5-year survival rates of the ASCC patients in Stage Ⅰ-Ⅲwere higher than that of the AUC patients with the same stages.However, statistical significant difference could only be foundamong the patients in Stage Ⅱ, P = 0.006. The 5-year survival ratesof the ASCC patients with various differential grade were higherthan those of the AUC patients with the same differential grade,but statistical significant difference could only be found amongthe patients in the two groups with moderately differentiation,P = 0.039. It was found by Cox regression analysis that onlyclinical stage (P < 0.001) and histological type (P = 0.046) were theindependent prognostic factors.CONCLUSION Clinical stage and histological type were theindependent prognostic factors of the AUC and ASCC patients.The prognosis of ASCC patients is better than that of the AUCpatients.Guangwen Yuan Lingying Wu Xiaoguang Li Manni Huang 2009Chinese Journal of Clinical Oncology2009,6,2:0
7Robust and Flexible Multimaterial Aerogel Fabric Toward Outdoor Passive Heating显示文摘Outdoor passive heating to maintain a constant human body temperature is critical for human activities.However,most traditional energy-exhausted heating systems and inefficient passive heating technologies are incapable of dealing with the cold outdoor environment.Developing fabrics with low thermal radiation and conduction to passively heat the human body is a viable way to overcome the constraints of existing passive heating strategies.Herein,a multimaterial aerogel fabric was developed to realize passive personal heating without any energy input.The multimaterial aerogel fabric was fabricated by coating an Ag layer on an aerogel composite fabric.The lightweight aerogel composite fabric,woven from aerogel composite fibers with multi-scale porous structure,exhibits excellent thermal insulation,self-cleaning,mechanical and thermal stability.Furthermore,by coating with an Ag layer,the multimaterial aerogel fabric exhibits both low thermal conductivity and low infrared emissivity at 7–14μm,demonstrating superior thermal insulating performance.As a result,the proposed multimaterial aerogel fabric with a thickness of only 1.29 mm is capable of improving the human body temperarure of 5.7℃ in a cold environment without energy input.This strategy offers a potential energy-saving alternative for future outdoor passive heating.Jiawei Wu Manni Zhang Minyu Su Yuqi Zhang Jun Liang Shaoning Zeng Baishun Chen Li Cui Chong Hou Guangming Tao 2022Advanced Fiber Materials2022,4,6:0
