| 2 | Secukinumab demonstrates high efficacy and a favorable safety profile over 52 weeks in Chinese patients with moderate to severe plaque psoriasis显示文摘Background:Psoriasis is a chronic inflammatory skin disease,affecting about 0.6%of the Chinese population.Many patients are not well controlled by conventional treatments,thus there is need for new treatment regimens.In this study,we assessed the efficacy and safety of secukinumab in Chinese patients with moderate to severe plaque psoriasis.Methods:This study was a 52-week,multicentre,randomized,double-blind,placebo-controlled,parallel-group,Phase 3 trial.A sub-population of study participants(≥18 years)of Chinese ethnicity were randomized to receive subcutaneous injections of 300 or 150 mg secukinumab,or placebo.The co-primary endpoints were psoriasis area severity index(PASI)75 and Investigator’s Global Assessment(IGA)0/1 at Week 12.Results:A total of 441 Chinese patients were enrolled in this study.Co-primary outcomes were achieved;300 and 150 mg secukinumab were superior to placebo as shown in the proportion of patients that achieved PASI 75(97.7%and 87.2%vs.3.7%,respectively;P<0.001),and IGA 0/1(82.3%and 69.7%vs.2.7%;P<0.001)at Week 12.Treatment efficacy was maintained until Week 52.There was no increase in overall adverse events with secukinumab relative to placebo throughout the 52-week period.Conclusion:Secukinumab is highly effective and well tolerated in Chinese patients with moderate to severe plaque psoriasis. | Lin Cai Jian-Zhong Zhang Xu Yao Jun Gu Quan-Zhong Liu Min Zheng Shi-Fa Zhang Jin-Hua Xu Cheng-Xin Li Hao Cheng Qing Guo Wei-Li Pan Shen-Qiu Li Ruo-Yu Li Zai-Pei Guo Zhi-Qi Song Shan-Shan Li Xiu-Qin Dong Linda Wang Rong Fu Pascaline Regnault Pascal Charef Ratal Mazur Manmath Patekar | 2020 | Chinese Medical Journal2020，，22： | 21 |

| 5 | Laparoscopic approach to retrorectal cyst显示文摘Retrorectal cysts are rare benign lesions in the presacral space which are frequently diagnosed in middle-aged females. We report here our experience with two symptomatic female patients who were diagnosed as having a retrorectal cyst and managed using a laparoscopic approach. The two patients were misdiagnosed as having an ovarian cystic lesion after abdominal ultrasonography. Computer tomograghy (CT) scan was mandatory to establish the diagnosis. The trocar port site was the same in both patients. An additional left oophorectomy was done for a coexisting ovarian cystic lesion in one patient in the same setting. There was no postoperative morbidity or mortality and the two patients were discharged on the 5th and 6th post operative days, respectively. Our cases show that laparoscopic management of retrorectal cysts is a safe approach. | 6 | Celiac disease serology in patients with different pretest probabilities: Is biopsy avoidable?显示文摘AIM: To establish the diagnostic performance of sev-eral serological tests, individually and in combination, for diagnosing celiac disease (CD) in patients with different pretest probabilities, and to explore potential se- rological algorithms to reduce the necessity for biopsy. METHODS: We prospectively performed duodenal biopsy and serology in 679 adults who had either high risk (n = 161) or low risk (n = 518) for CD. Blood samples were tested using six assays (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) that detected antibodies to tissue transglutaminase (tTG) and deamidated gliadin peptide (DGP). RESULTS: CD prevalence was 39.1% in the high-risk population and 3.3% in the low-risk group. In high-risk patients, all individual assays had a high diagnostic efficacy [area under receiving operator characteristic curves (AU ROC): 0.968 to 0.999]. In contrast, assays had a lower diagnostic efficacy (AU ROC: 0.835 to 0.972) in the low-risk group. Using assay combinations, it would be possible to reach or rule out diagnosis of CD without biopsy in 92% of cases in both pretest populations. We observed that the new DGP/tTG Screen assay resulted in a surplus compared to more conventional assays in any clinical situation. CONCLUSION: The DGP/tTG Screen assay could be considered as the best initial test for CD. | 8 | A Fully Convolutional Neural Network-based Regression Approach for Effective Chemical Composition Analysis Using Near-infrared Spectroscopy in Cloud显示文摘As one chemical composition,nicotine content has an important influence on the quality of tobacco leaves.Rapid and nondestructive quantitative analysis of nicotine is an important task in the tobacco industry.Near-infrared(NIR)spectroscopy as an effective chemical composition analysis technique has been widely used.In this paper,we propose a one-dimensional fully convolutional network(1D-FCN)model to quantitatively analyze the nicotine composition of tobacco leaves using NIR spectroscopy data in a cloud environment.This 1D-FCN model uses one-dimensional convolution layers to directly extract the complex features from sequential spectroscopy data.It consists of five convolutional layers and two full connection layers with the max-pooling layer replaced by a convolutional layer to avoid information loss.Cloud computing techniques are used to solve the increasing requests of large-size data analysis and implement data sharing and accessing.Experimental results show that the proposed 1D-FCN model can effectively extract the complex characteristics inside the spectrum and more accurately predict the nicotine volumes in tobacco leaves than other approaches.This research provides a deep learning foundation for quantitative analysis of NIR spectral data in the tobacco industry. | Daiyu Jiang Gang Hu Guanqiu Qi Neal Mazur | 2021 | Journal of Artificial Intelligence and Technology2021，1，1： | 3 |
