1Effect of boron on bainitic transformation kinetics after ausforming in low carbon steels显示文摘The addition of boron(B) is frequently adopted to increase the hardenability of bainitic steels. Although it is well known that B can retard the bainitic transformation kinetics, it is still not clear how the B affects the bainitic transformation kinetics after ausforming. By systematic high-resolution dilatometry tests, the present work reveals that the bainitic transformation kinetics is accelerated in a low C steel with B addition after ausforming from all aspects including incubation time, transformation velocity and transformed volume fraction. In contrast, for the same steel without B addition, both transformation velocity and transformed volume fraction are retarded after ausforming. It is proposed that ausforming can reduce B segregation at prior austenite grain boundaries as some boron can interact with dislocations and therefore enhance bainite nucleation rate. Furthermore, auforming can refine the average volume of bainitic sheaf. Based on the competing mechanisms between increase of nucleation rate and refinement of bainitic sheaf, the effects of B and ausforming on the bainitic transformation kinetics are discussed.Binbin He Wei Xu Mingxin Huang 2017Journal of Materials Science & Technology2017,33,12:4

3Experimental Study on Oxy-Fuel Combustion and NO Emission in a Spouted-Fluidized Bed with under Bed Feeding显示文摘The spouted-fluidized bed is modified from the classical fluidized bed device,which combines the features of spouted and fluidized beds.In the present work,the performance of oxy-fuel spouted-fluidized bed combustion with under bed feeding and its effect on NO emission were systematically investigated.The results revealed that it was feasible to use a spouted-fluidized bed combustor for oxy-fuel combustion with real flue gas recycling.The transition from air combustion to oxy-fuel combustion was smooth and the concentration of CO_(2) in the flue gas could be as high as 90%steadily(dry base).Increasing the reaction temperature exhibited a negative effect on NO emission.Compared with that under the shallow bed,the concentration of NO in the flue gas was lower under the deep bed condition.Besides,the utilization of crush particles was favorable for suppressing NO emission because of the promoted mixing between coal particles and solid bed materials.Furthermore,the addition of limestone was proven to undesirably increase the NO emission during oxy-fuel spouted-fluidized bed combustion.XU Mingxin WU Yachang WU Haibo OUYANG Haodong ZHENG Shu LU Qiang 2021Journal of Thermal Science2021,30,4:2

5Seismic damage analysis of the outlet piers of arch dams using the finite element sub-model method显示文摘This study aims to analyze seismic damage of reinforced outlet piers of arch dams by the nonlinear finite element(FE) sub-model method. First, the dam–foundation system is modeled and analyzed, in which the effects of infinite foundation, contraction joints, and nonlinear concrete are taken into account. The detailed structures of the outlet pier are then simulated with a refined FE model in the sub-model analysis. In this way the damage mechanism of the plain(unreinforced) outlet pier is analyzed, and the effects of two reinforcement measures(i.e., post-tensioned anchor cables and reinforcing bar) on the dynamic damage to the outlet pier are investigated comprehensively. Results show that the plain pier is damaged severely by strong earthquakes while implementation of post-tensioned anchor cables strengthens the pier effectively. 6Comparative population genomics dissects the genetic basis of seven domestication traits in jujube显示文摘Jujube(Ziziphus jujuba Mill.)is an important perennial fruit tree with a range of interesting horticultural traits.It was domesticated from wild jujube(Ziziphus acidojujuba),but the genomic variation dynamics and genetic changes underlying its horticultural traits during domestication are poorly understood.Here,we report a comprehensive genome variation map based on the resequencing of 350 accessions,including wild,semi-wild and cultivated jujube plants,at a>15×depth.Using the combination of a genome-wide association study(GWAS)and selective sweep analysis,we identified several candidate genes potentially involved in regulating seven domestication traits in jujube.For fruit shape and kernel shape,we integrated the GWAS approach with transcriptome profiling data,expression analysis and the transgenic validation of a candidate gene to identify a causal gene,ZjFS3,which encodes an ethyleneresponsive transcription factor.Similarly,we identified a candidate gene for bearing-shoot length and the number of leaves per bearing shoot and two candidate genes for the seed-setting rate using GWAS.In the selective sweep analysis,we also discovered several putative genes for the presence of prickles on bearing shoots and the postharvest shelf life of fleshy fruits.This study outlines the genetic basis of jujube domestication and evolution and provides a rich genomic resource for mining other horticulturally important genes in jujube.Mingxin Guo Zhongren Zhang Yanwei Cheng Sunan Li Peiyin Shao Qiang Yu Junjie Wang Gan Xu Xiaotian Zhang Jiajia Liu Linlin Hou Hanxiao Liu Xusheng Zhao 2020Horticulture Research2020,7,1:2

12Engineering of hollow polymeric nanosphere-supported imidazolium-based ionic liquids with enhanced antimicrobial activities显示文摘The design of stable,efficient and processable bactericidal materials represents a significant challenge for combating multidrugresistant bacteria in a variety of engineering fields.Herein,we report a facile strategy for the preparation of hollow polymeric nanosphere(HPN)-supported imidazolium-based ionic liquids(denoted as HPN-ILs)with superior antimicrobial activities.HPNILs were tailored by moderate Friedel−Crafts polymerization followed by the sequential covalent bonding of imidazole and bromoalkene.The resultant HPN-ILs have uniform hollow spherical morphology,an adequate surface area,and excellent physicochemical stability.Furthermore,they are highly active against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria and exhibit typical time/dosage-dependent antibacterial activities.The rational combination of porous HPNs and antibacterial ILs to generate an all-in-one entity may open new avenues for the design and fabrication of efficient bacteriostatic agents.Moreover,HPN-ILs have good biocompatibility and can also be loaded onto diverse matrices,and thus could extend their practical bactericidal application in the potential biomedical-active field.Yu Zhang Shuwei Li Yixin Xu Xinyun Shi Mingxin Zhang Yingning Huang Ying Liang Yaqiong Chen Wanli Ji Jung Rae Kim Wenliang Song Deng-Guang Yu Il Kim 2022Nano Research2022,15,6:1

14Helium and argon isotope geochemistry of natural gases in China's petroliferous basins显示文摘The age-accumulation effect of 40Ar in hydrocarbon source rocks was discussed in accordance with the decay law of radioactive elements. In terms of the mean values of 40Ar/36Ar, the old Sinian gas reservoirs (mean values of 40Ar/36Ar: 7009) were definitely distinguished from the Permian gas reservoirs (mean values of 40Ar/36Ar: 1017) in Weiyuan, Sichuan Province, and the gas source of the Permian gas reservoir (mean values of 40Ar/36Ar: 5222) in well Wei-7 with the Weiyuan structure is defined as the Sinian system. Based on the values of 40Ar/36Ar, the coal-type gases (The source rocks are of the C-P system; mean values of 40Ar/36Ar: 1125) are definitely distinguished from the oil-type gases (The source rocks are of the Tertiary system; mean values of 40Ar/36Ar: 590) in the Tertiary reservoirs of the Zhongyuan Oilfield. Besides, 40Ar/36Ar values also have a positive effect on the oil-source correlation of oil reservoirs in ancient hidden mountains. According to the crust-mantle interchange information reflected by 3He/4He values, petroliferous provinces in China can be divided into three major tectonic regions. (1) The eastern active region: The crust-mantle volatile matter exchanges actively, and the 3He/4He values are mainly around 10-6, partly around 10-7. (2) The central stable region: The 3He/4He values are all around 10-8. (3) The western sub-stable region: The 3He/4He values are mainly around 10-8, and around 10-7 on the edges of the basins. Helium contents of some gas wells in China’s eastern petroliferous region reach the industrial abundance (He≈0.05%–0.1%), the 3He/4He values reach 10-6, and the equivalent values for the mantle-source components in helium gas can reach 30%–50%. As viewed from this, a new type of crust-mantle composite helium resources has been proposed. Geneses of some CO2 gas reservoirs in the east of China and some issues concerning mantle-source methane were discussed in the light of the helium and carbon isotopes of CO2 and CH4 in natural gases. In the discussion on helium isotopic characteristics of inclusions in the reservoirs, it was discovered that the 3He/4He values are close to those in natural gases. That is to say, this phenomenon is related to regional tectonism. 17A novel flavonol-based colorimetric and turn-on fluorescent probe for rapid determination of hydrazine in real water samples and its bioimaging in vivo and in vitro显示文摘Hydrazine is extremely toxic and causes severe harm to human body.Herein,a novel fluorescent probe 4-oxo-2-styryl-4H-chromen-3-yl thiophene-2-carboxylate(FHT)was synthesized for detecting hydrazine by using natural cinnamaldehyde as starting material.This probe exhibited significantly enhanced fluorescence response towards hydrazine over various common metal ions,anions,and amine compounds.The detection limit of probe FHT for hydrazine was as low as 0.14μmol·L^(-1),significantly lower than that of the threshold value of 0.312μmoi·L^(-1),imposed by the Environmental Protection Agency.Moreover,the proposed probe was able to detect hydrazine within wide pH(5-10)and linear detection ranges(0-110μmol·L^(-1)).This probe was employed for determining trace hydrazine in different environmental water samples.The probe FHT-loaded filter paper strips werea able to conveniently detect hydrazine of low concentration through distinct naked-eye and fluorescent color changes.Importantly,the probe FHT with low cytotoxicitywas successfullyapplied to visualize hydrazine in living Hela cells and zebrafish.Ahui Qin Yan Zhang Shuai Gong Mingxin Li Yu Gao Xu Xu Jie Song Zhonglong Wang Shifa Wang 2023Frontiers of Chemical Science and Engineering2023,17,1:1

19Effect of alkali metal ions on the formation mechanism of HCN during pyridine pyrolysis显示文摘The catalytic effects of alkali metal ions(Na^(+)and K^(+))on NO_(x)precursor formation during coal pyrolysis were investigated using the N-containing compound pyridine as a model compound.Density functional theory calculations at the B3LYP/6-31G(d,p)level of theory were conducted to elucidate the mechanism of pyridine pyrolysis and the pathways for HCN formation.The calculation results indicate that Na^(+)and K^(+)have distinct influences on different pyrolysis reactions;these alkali metal ions facilitate the initial hydrogen transfer from C_(1)to N and C_(2),whereas they hinder the other hydrogen migration reactions.Both Na^(+)and K^(+)significantly reduce the activation energies for C–C bond breakage and triple-bond formation,whereas they increase the activation energies for the isomerization reactions.The different effects essentially result from the distinct charge distributions induced by the two ions.Due to the distinct influences on the different reactions,the rate-determining steps are modulated,affecting the competitiveness of the different possible pathways of HCN formation.The formation of HCN from pyridine is promoted in the presence of Na^(+)and K^(+)because all the overall activation energies are decreased for different pathways.The calculation results agree well with previous experimental studies.Thus,the findings offer a new and promising approach to reveal the formation mechanism of NO_(x)and facilitate the control of NO_(x)for coal utilization.Ji Liu Wei Zhao Xinrui Fan Mingxin Xu Shu Zheng Qiang Lu 2021International Journal of Coal Science & Technology2021,8,3:0
20Steam reforming of toluene as a tar model compound with modified nickel-based catalyst显示文摘Catalytic steam reforming is a promising route for tar conversion to high energy syngas in the process of biomass gasification. However, the catalyst deactivation caused by the deposition of residual carbon is still a major challenge. In this paper, a modified Ni-based Ni-Co/Al2O3-CaO (Ni-Co/AC) catalyst and a conventional Ni/Al2O3 (Ni/A) catalyst were prepared and tested for tar catalytic removal in which toluene was selected as the model component. Experiments were conducted to reveal the influences of the reaction temperature and the ratio between steam to carbon on the toluene conversion and the hydrogen yield. The physicochemical properties of the modified Ni-based catalyst were determined by a series of characterization methods. The results indicated that the Ni-Co alloy was determined over the Ni-Co/AC catalyst. The doping of CaO and the presence of Ni-Co alloy promoted the performance of toluene catalytic dissociation over Ni-Co/AC catalyst compared with that over Ni/A catalyst.
