| 1 | Platelet-rich plasma accelerates skin wound healing by promoting re-epithelialization显示文摘Background:Autologous platelet-rich plasma(PRP)has been suggested to be effective for wound healing.However,evidence for its use in patients with acute and chronic wounds remains insufficient.The aims of this study were to comprehensively examine the effectiveness,synergy and possible mechanism of PRP-mediated improvement of acute skin wound repair.Methods:Full-thickness wounds were made on the back of C57/BL6 mice.PRP or saline solution as a control was administered to the wound area.Wound healing rate,local inflammation,angiogenesis,re-epithelialization and collagen deposition were measured at days 3,5,7 and 14 after skin injury.The biological character of epidermal stem cells(ESCs),which reflect the potential for re-epithelialization,was further evaluated in vitro and in vivo.Results:PRP strongly improved skin wound healing,which was associated with regulation of local inflammation,enhancement of angiogenesis and re-epithelialization.PRP treatment significantly reduced the production of inflammatory cytokines interleukin-17A and interleukin-1β.An increase in the local vessel intensity and enhancement of re-epithelialization were also observed in animals with PRP administration and were associated with enhanced secretion of growth factors such as vascular endothelial growth factor and insulin-like growth factor-1.Moreover,PRP treatment ameliorated the survival and activated the migration and proliferation of primary cultured ESCs,and these effects were accompanied by the differentiation of ESCs into adult cells following the changes of CD49f and keratin 10 and keratin 14.Conclusion:PRP improved skin wound healing by modulating inflammation and increasing angiogenesis and re-epithelialization.However,the underlying regulatory mechanism needs to be investigated in the future.Our data provide a preliminary theoretical foundation for the clinical administration of PRP in wound healing and skin regeneration. | Pengcheng Xu Yaguang Wu Lina Zhou Zengjun Yang Xiaorong Zhang Xiaohong Hu Jiacai Yang Mingying Wang Binjie Wang Gaoxing Luo Weifeng He Biao Cheng | 2020 | Burns & Trauma2020,8,1: | 8 |
| 2 | Status and development of high-power laser facilities at the NLHPLP显示文摘In this paper, we review the status of the multifunctional experimental platform at the National Laboratory of High Power Laser and Physics(NLHPLP). The platform, including the SG-II laser facility, SG-II 9th beam, SG-II upgrade(SG-II UP) facility, and SG-II 5 PW facility, is operational and available for interested scientists studying inertial confinement fusion(ICF) and a broad range of high-energy-density physics. These facilities can provide important experimental capabilities by combining different pulse widths of nanosecond, picosecond, and femtosecond scales. In addition, the SG-II UP facility, consisting of a single petawatt system and an eight-beam nanosecond system, is introduced including several laser technologies that have been developed to ensure the performance of the facility. | 3 | Studies of Primary Angle Qosure Glaucoma in China显示文摘The resent researches on primary angle closure glaucoma (PACG) in China were reviewed. The prevalence of PACG (0.41%) in chinese is between the Caucasian and Eskimos, and chronic type is the dominant type in PACG. However, with the economic development and medical care improvements, the prevalence condition of PACG may change; several researches discovered that the mechanism of PACG, especially the chronic type, is not only because of pupil-blocking but also closely related to the mechanism of crowding of peripheral iris and the anterior location of the ciliary body. We supposed that PACG can be divided into several subtypes based on this machnism. Also, we believe that the use of ultrasound biomicroscopy (UBM) and ophthalmic laser in China has promoted the research of PACG and improved the level of prevention and treatment of PACG. | 4 | Molecular breeding of water lily: engineering cold stress tolerance into tropical water lily显示文摘Water lilies(order Nymphaeales)are rich in both economic and cultural values.They grow into aquatic herbs,and are divided into two ecological types:tropical and hardy.Although tropical water lilies have more ornamental and medicinal values compared to the hardy water lily,the study and utilization of tropical water lilies in both landscaping and pharmaceutical use is greatly hindered due to their limited planting area.Tropical water lilies cannot survive the winter in areas beyond 24.3°N latitude.Here,the transgenic pipeline through the pollen-tube pathway was generated for water lily for the first time.To improve cold stress tolerance of tropical water lilies,a gene encoding choline oxidase(CodA)driven by a cold stress-inducible promoter was transformed into a tropical water lily through the pollen-tube transformation.Six independent transgenic lines were tested for survival rate during two winter seasons from 2015 to 2017 in Hangzhou(30.3°N latitude).PCR and southern blot detection revealed that the CodA gene had been integrated into the genome.Reverse transcription PCR showed that CodA gene was induced after cold stress treatment,and further quantitative real-time PCR revealed different expressions among six 4 lines and line 3 had the highest expression.Multiple physiological experiments showed that after cold stress treatment,both the conductivity and malondialdehyde(MDA)levels from transgenic plants were significantly lower than those of non-transgenic plants,whereas the content of betaine and the activity of superoxide dismutase,catalase,and peroxidase were higher than those from non-transgenic plants.These results suggest that expression of exogenous CodA gene significantly improved the cold stress tolerance of tropical water lilies through a wide range of physiological alterations.Our results currently expanded a six-latitude cultivating area of the tropical water lilies.These results not only illuminate the bright future for water lily breeding but will also facilitate the functional genomic studies. | Cuiwei Yu Guirong Qiao Wenmin Qiu Dongbei Yu Shirong Zhou Yan Shen Guanchun Yu Jing Jiang Xiaojiao Han Mingying Liu Liangsheng Zhang Fei Chen Yuchu Chen Renying Zhuo | 2018 | Horticulture Research2018,5,1: | 4 |
| 5 | Application of regional citrate anticoagulation in patients at high risk of bleeding during intermittent hemodialysis:a prospective multicenter randomized controlled trial显示文摘Objective:Safe and effective anticoagulation is essential for hemodialysis patients who are at high risk of bleeding.The purpose of this trial is to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of two-stage regional citrate anticoagulation(RCA)combined with sequential anticoagulation and standard calcium-containing dialysate in intermittent hemodialysis(IHD)treatment.Methods:Patients at high risk of bleeding who underwent IHD from September 2019 to May 2021 were prospectively enrolled in 13 blood purification centers of nephrology departments,and were randomly divided into RCA group and saline flushing group.In the RCA group,0.04 g/mL sodium citrate was infused from the start of the dialysis line during blood draining and at the venous expansion chamber.The sodium citrate was stopped after 3 h of dialysis,which was changed to sequential dialysis without anticoagulant.The hazard ratios for coagulation were according to baseline.Results:A total of 159 patients and 208 sessions were enrolled,including RCA group(80 patients,110 sessions)and saline flushing group(79 patients,98 sessions).The incidence of severe coagulation events of extracorporeal circulation in the RCA group was significantly lower than that in the saline flushing group(3.64%vs.20.41%,P<0.001).The survival time of the filter pipeline in the RCA group was significantly longer than that in the saline flushing group((238.34±9.33)min vs.(221.73±34.10)min,P<0.001).The urea clearance index(Kt/V)in the RCA group was similar to that in the saline flushing group with no statistically significant difference(1.12±0.34 vs.1.08±0.34,P=0.41).Conclusions:Compared with saline flushing,the two-stage RCA combined with a sequential anticoagulation strategy significantly reduced extracorporeal circulation clotting events and prolonged the dialysis time without serious adverse events. | Xiaoyan TANG Dezheng CHEN Ling ZHANG Ping FU Yanxia CHEN Zhou XIAO Xiangcheng XIAO Weisheng PENG Li CHENG Yanmin ZHANG Hongbo LI Kehui LI Bizhen GOU Xin WU Qian YU Lijun JIAN Zaizhi ZHU Yu WEN Cheng LIU Hen XUE Hongyu ZHANG Xin HE Bin YAN Liping ZHONG Bin HUANG Mingying MAO | 2022 | Journal of Zhejiang University-Science B(Biomedicine & Biotechnology)2022,23,11: | 4 |
| 6 | Target alignment in the Shen-Guang Ⅱ Upgrade laser facility显示文摘The Shen-Guang II Upgrade(SG-Ⅱ-U) laser facility consists of eight high-power nanosecond laser beams and one shortpulse picosecond petawatt laser. It is designed for the study of inertial confinement fusion(ICF), especially for conducting fast ignition(FI) research in China and other basic science experiments. To perform FI successfully with hohlraum targets containing a golden cone, the long-pulse beam and cylindrical hohlraum as well as the short-pulse beam and cone target alignment must satisfy tight specifications(30 and 20 μm rms for each case). To explore new ICF ignition targets with six laser entrance holes(LEHs), a rotation sensor was adapted to meet the requirements of a three-dimensional target and correct beam alignment. In this paper, the strategy for aligning the nanosecond beam based on target alignment sensor(TAS) is introduced and improved to meet requirements of the picosecond lasers and the new six LEHs hohlraum targets in the SG-II-U facility. | 7 | Design and performance of final optics assembly in SG-ⅡUpgrade laser facility显示文摘In high power laser facility for inertial confinement fusion research, final optics assembly(FOA) plays a critical role in the frequency conversion, beam focusing, color separation, beam sampling and debris shielding. The design and performance of FOA in SG-II Upgrade laser facility are mainly introduced here. Due to the limited space and short focal length, a coaxial aspheric wedged focus lens is designed and applied in the FOA configuration. Then the ghost image analysis,the focus characteristic analysis, the B integral control design and the optomechanical design are carried out in the FOA design phase. | 9 | Environmental factors affecting regional differences and decadal variations in the buried flux of marine organic carbon in eastern shelf sea areas of China显示文摘To characterize environmental factors controlling decadal-scale variations in the buried flux of marine organic carbon(BFC_(m))in the eastern shelf sea areas of China(ECSS),four well preserved sediment cores collected from the central Yellow Sea mud(CYSM)area,the Yellow Sea Coastal Current(YSCC)area and the Changjiang River Estuary(CRE)were investigated in this study.In the CYSM,variations in BFC_(m) were found to be dependent on variations in primary productivity and to exhibit a cyclical trend possibly related to fluctuations in the Pacific Decadal Oscillation(PDO)and the East Asian winter monsoon index(EAWM).In the YSCC,BFC_(m) likewise depends on primary productivity.Prior to the 1950s,variations in BFC_(m) were similar to that of the EAWM.After the 1950s,BFC_(m) increased rapidly and exhibited maximum values in the surface layer,consistent with an increase in primary productivity caused by the input of terrestrial nutrients associated with China’s economic development.In the CRE,variations in BFC_(m) were affected by several competing factors making it difficult to identify clear relationships between variations in BFC_(m) and primary productivity.In contrast,long-term variability in BFC_(m) is more similar to changes in the Changjiang River sediment load.Thus,it is speculated that the construction of dams along the Changjiang River may be the main cause of variations in BFC_(m) in this area.Given the disproportionate effects of human activities on marine environments and decadal variations in BFC_(m) in the ECSS,careful attention should be paid to regional differences in organic carbon preservation and environmental changes lest estimates of these values be made imprecise or inaccurate. | Qian Yang Keming Qu Shu Yang Yao Sun Yan Zhang Mingying Zhou | 2021 | Acta Oceanologica Sinica2021,40,6: | 0 |
| 10 | Ultrasound Biomicroscopic Dark Room Provocative Test显示文摘Purpose : To compare the clinical application value of Ultrasound biomicrsocpic dark room provocative test with the traditional dark room test in screening primary angle closure glaucoma (PACG).Methods: 22 eyes with PACG in prodromal stage and 30 eyes with deep anterior chamber and wide angle of 15 normal persons were observed in this trail. All 52 eyes were performed traditional dark room provocative test and ultrasound biomicorosopic darkroom test respectively.
