1Ore prospecting model and targets for the Dashuigou tellurium deposit, Sichuan Province, China显示文摘The Dashuigou tellurium(Te) deposit in Shimian city, Sichuan Province is the only known independent Te ore deposit in China. Samples were collected by1/50,000 stream sediment survey and analyzed by inductively coupled plasma–mass spectrometry, X-ray fluorescence spectrometry, emission spectrometry, and atomic absorption spectroscopy. An ore prospecting model for the Dashuigou Te deposit was then established. In the Dashuigou area, bismuth(Bi), Te, and gold(Au) concentrations in stream sediment samples displayed weak-positive anomalies, while silver(Ag) displayed a weaknegative anomaly. Bi, Te, Ag, and Au anomalies are regarded as indicators of Te deposits; the greater the ratio of Te+Bi/Au+Ag, the larger the possibility of an independent tellurobismuthite deposit. The ratio calculated from our samples is 7.288. Five locations were identified for prospecting for Te minerals by this model, including the northern part of the Dashuigou Te deposit, Majiagou,Tizigou, southeastern Miaoping, and northern Baishuihe.These five regions are within the Dashuigou dome anticline, the exposed strata of which are controlled by tracing the tensile shear fracture; the metallogenic geological conditions and geochemical characteristics are the same as those of the known Dashuigou Te deposit. 2Effect of magnesium hydroxide as cigarette paper filler to reduce cigarette smoke toxicity显示文摘The use of magnesium hydroxide(Mg(OH)_(2))was proposed as a filler to replace part of the calcium carbonate(CaCO_(3))in cigarette paper and reduce the toxicity of the smoke from cigarettes.Physical property changes and smoke reducing ability of this possible substitution were effectively studied.The results showed that adding 10%Mg(OH)_(2) could meet the requirements of the physical property of the cigarette paper.Moreover,with the addition of Mg(OH)2 as a filler in the cigarette paper,the pyrolysis temperature of the cigarette paper decreased,while the porosity and specific surface area increased.As a result,the main-stream smoke had a lower smoke total particle matter(STMP),tar,nicotine and carbon monoxide content,and the side-stream smoke also had a lower STMP.Xian Lu Mingyou Liu Zhibin He 2016Journal of Bioresources and Bioproducts2016,1,3:1

5Germ cell sex prior to meiosis in the rainbow trout显示文摘Germ cells make two major decisions when they move from an indeterminate state to their final stage of gamete production.One decision is sexual commitment for sperm or egg production,and the other is to maintain mitotic division or entry into meiosis.It is unclear whether the two decisions are made as a single event or separate events,because there has been no evidence for the presence of germ cell sex prior to meiosis.Here we report direct evidence in the fish rainbow trout that gonia have distinct sexuality.We show that dazl expression occurs in both male and female gonia but exhibits differential intracellular distribution.More strikingly,we show that boule is highly expressed in male gonia but absent in female gonia.Therefore,mitotic gonia possess sex,sperm/egg decision and mitosis/meiosis decision are two independent events,and sperm/egg decision precedes mitosis/meiosis decision in rainbow trout,making this organism a unique vertebrate model for mechanistic understanding of germ cell sex differentiation and relationship between the two decisions.Mingyou Li Qian Shen Foong Mei Wong Hongyan Xu Ni Hong Lingbing Zeng Lin Liu Qiwei Wei Yunhan Hong 2011Protein & Cell2011,2,1:1

7Recovery of calcium carbonate waste as paper filler in the causticizing process of bamboo kraft pulping显示文摘In this paper, calcium carbonate waste was recovered as paper filler from the causticizing process of bamboo kraft pulping. The effects of the causticizing process parameters on the filler qualities were investigated, in terms of the whiteness, tear strength, tensile strength and ash content of the filled paper. To investigate the effect of silica content on the qualities of the resultant calcium carbonate filler, the green liquor was desiliconized with aluminum salt modified bentonite prior to the causticizing process to obtain calcium carbonate of various silicon contents, particle size and brightness, and different crystal morphology. 8Behavioral problems and related factors in children of different aged patients with schizophrenia: A cross-sectional study显示文摘BACKGROUND:With the age growing,changes of behavioral problems in children whose parents had schizophrenia,differences of related factors and ways for particular intervention should be further studied. OBJECTIVE:To survey the behavioral problems in children of different aged patients with chizophrenia and investigate the correlation between behavioral problems and related factors in different aged groups. DESIGN:Cross-sectional study. SETTING:Shandong Mental Health Center. PARTICIPANTS:A total of 364 patients with schizophrenia were selected from eleven psychiatric hospitals from June 1999 to June 2000. There were 179 males and 185 females,and their ages ranged from 28 to 45 years. All patients met modified diagnostic criteria of schizophrenia(the second edition),China Classification of Mental Diseases and Diagnostic Criteria. Meanwhile,children of the 364 patients were grouped based on their ages,including 6-11 years old group [n =217;114 males and 103 females;mean age of(9±2) years] and 12-16 years old group [n =147;99 males and 48 females;mean age of(14± 1) years]. The Chinese norms of Achenbach's Child Behavior Check List were regarded as the normal control group. METHODS:Children who received self-made mental health related factors inventory and Achenbach's Child Behavior Check List were involved in this study. All children and their parents provided the confirmed consent. Achenbach's Child Behavior Check List was used for parents to mainly evaluate children,and the results manifested various behavioral problems based on different sexes and different ages. Self-made mental health related factors inventory contained questionnaires for parents and children,respectively. In this study,home situation of parents as well as personality characteristics and educational styles of children were mainly evaluated. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES:① Scores of Achenbach's Child Behavior Check List in different aged children;② Scores of self-made mental health related factors inventory based on different home situations and educational styles. RESULTS:Children of 364 patients were involved in the final analysis. ① There were no significant differences in total score of Achenbach's Child Behavior Check List and sex in the two groups(P > 0.05). There were significant differences in schizoid,body recount,aggression,depression,hyperactivity,violating discipline,compulsion and total abnormal rate of boys between the 6-11 years old group and the normal control group(P < 0.05-0.01). In addition,there were also significant differences in poor communication,depression,hyperactivity,violating discipline,compulsion and total abnormal rate of girls between the 6-11 years old group and the normal control group(P < 0.05-0.01). ② As compared with normal control group,scores of home environment in the two aged groups demonstrated that educational level was low;interpersonal relationship was poor;relation to children was not closed;relationship between husband and wife was not harmonious;positive rate of family history was high;economic status was poor;family atmosphere was poor. Therefore,there was significant difference(P < 0.01). Educational level in parental generation and single parent family in the 6-11 years old group were higher than that in the 12-16 years old group,with significant difference(P < 0.05). As compared with the normal control group,results of education demonstrated that children in the two aged groups had poor communication with other children;they had poor behaviors in schools;most of them were boarded and had poor relationship with their parents;teaching styles for children were different. CONCLUSION:All children of different aged patients with schizophrenia had poor home environment and education;and they were often affected by other factors. Behavioral problems were changed with the age growing;in addition,these changes were related to home environment,education and society. 9Episodic hydrothermal alteration on Middle Permian carbonate reservoirs and its geological significance in southwestern Sichuan Basin,SW China显示文摘To analyze the episodic alteration of Middle Permian carbonate reservoirs by complex hydrothermal fluid in southwestern Sichuan Basin,petrology,geochemistry,fluid inclusion and U-Pb dating researches are conducted.The fractures and vugs of Middle Permian Qixia–Maokou formations are filled with multi-stage medium-coarse saddle dolomites and associated hydrothermal minerals,which indicates that the early limestone/dolomite episodic alteration was caused by the large-scale,high-temperature,deep magnesium-rich brine along flowing channels such as basement faults or associated fractures under the tectonic compression and napping during the Indosinian.The time of magnesium-rich hydrothermal activity was from the Middle Triassic to the Late Triassic.The siliceous and calcite fillings were triggered by hydrothermal alteration in the Middle and Late Yanshanian Movement and Himalayan Movement.Hydrothermal dolomitization is controlled by fault,hydrothermal property,flowing channel and surrounding rock lithology,which occur as equilibrium effect of porosity and permeability.The thick massive grainstone/dolomites were mainly altered by modification such as hydrothermal dolomitization/recrystallization,brecciation and fracture-vugs filling.Early thin-medium packstones were mainly altered by dissolution and infilling of fracturing,bedding dolomitization,dissolution and associated mineral fillings.The dissolved vugs and fractures are the main reservoir space under hydrothermal conditions,and the connection of dissolved vugs and network fractures is favorable for forming high-quality dolomite reservoir.Hydrothermal dolomite reservoirs are developed within a range of 1 km near faults,with a thickness of 30–60 m.Hydrothermal dolomite reservoirs with local connected pore/vugs and fractures have exploration potential.FENG Mingyou SHANG Junxin SHEN Anjiang WEN Long WANG Xingzhi XU Liang LIANG Feng LIU Xiaohong 2024Petroleum Exploration and Development2024,51,1:0

11Constrains of eruption environment and hydrothermal fluid on the Permian pyroclastic reservoirs in the Sichuan Basin,SW China显示文摘A breakthrough has been recently made in the hydrocarbon exploration of the Permian pyroclastic rocks in the Jianyang Area,western Sichuan Basin,China.With an aim to decipher the impacts of the eruption environment,the temperature of hydrothermal fluids,and the paleo-salinity on the formation of authigenic mineral assemblage and pores,this study implements comprehensive petrographic and geochemical studies through the integrated core and thin section analyses.The data presented demonstrate that the Permian volcanic intervals are intensively affected by an event of Emei taphrogeny.During basaltic magma upward migration,fractional crystallization of anorthose results in slightlyalkaline magma.The specific pyroclastic rocks are formed by the eruption of slightly-alkaline magma in the sea or a salt lake and subsequent hydrothermal alteration.During deposition and diagenesis,the authigenic mineral association is constrained jointly by the sodium-rich and high salinity water environment,and mid-high temperature,high-salinity hydrothermal fluid.Specifically,the sodium-rich hydrothermal fluid,which may sustain till the late diagenesis stage,caused pervasive albitization of pyroclastic rocks,then leading to mineral transformation and formation of a series of mineral associations.Therefore,zeolitization of volcanic glass and vesicle-infillings of zeolite is an essential condition for later mineral transformation and dissolution.Albitization of analcite,recrystallization induced by deep hydrothermal fluids,and both meteoric and deep burial dissolution expanding the micro-pore space ultimately formed porous pyroclastic reservoirs.Xiaohong Liu Yiqian Zhuo Mingyou Feng Benjian Zhang Maolong Xia Xingzhi Wang 2022Petroleum2022,8,1:0

13Fe/C micro electrolysis and Fenton oxidation process for the removal of recalcitrant colored pollutants from mid-stage pulping effluent显示文摘The pulp and paper industry produces a large amount of colored effluent in the pulping,bleaching,and papermaking processes.The wastewater from the pulp washing and bleaching stages is also known as mid-stage pulping effluent,which is difficult to treat due to its toxicity and dark dolor.This paper reports a novel Fe/C micro-electrolysis process for the treatment of the mid-stage pulping effluent.Results show that this process is effective in removing the color under optimal reaction conditions.Scanning electron microscopy(SEM)and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR)analyses indicate that the colored pollutants were removed from the wastewater in the Fe/C micro-electrolysis by adsorption,collection and filtration mechanisms.The Fe2+ions produced in the micro-electrolysis process functioned as Fenton’s reagents with H2O2 in the follow-up oxidation stage,which enhanced the removal of chemical oxygen demand(COD)and color.Mingyou Liu Lu Wang Xianying Xiao Zhibin He 2018Journal of Bioresources and Bioproducts2018,3,3:0
14Deciphering the upper ordovician Wufeng siliceous shale depositional environments(Wuxi,NE Chongqing)based on multi-proxy record显示文摘Based on stratigraphic variations of petrology,geochemistry(major,trace elements),and pyrite framboids,we study the sedimentary environment of siliceous rocks of the Wufeng Formation in Wuxi,Northeastern Chongqing,China.Coupled Al2O3/(Al2O3þFe2O3),SiO2/Al2O3,with AleFeeMn values indicate that Wufeng Formation are deposited in a continental margin and influenced by detrital input.UEF-MoEF and V/CreU/Th cross-plots suggest that the siliceous shale was formed in dysoxic to anoxic conditions.Redox proxies imply that the lower,the middle to upper,and the top part of the Wufeng sediments were deposited in an anoxic,dysoxic and oxic environment,respectively.Accordingly,the average size of pyrite framboids are gradually increased from bottom to top,showing that increased oxidisability.A complete vibratory third-order cycle of sea level fluctuations during the Wufeng deposition can be identified.During Wufeng to Longmaxi transition,the sedimentary environment exhibits a short-scale oscillatory pattern and was probably transformed from an outer shelf to inner shelf.Coupled multi-proxies are considered more reliable proxies for deciphering redox conditions in fine-grained sediment.Longbo Xu Xingzhi Wang Mingyou Feng Xiaohong Liu 2021Petroleum2021,7,1:0
