1Preparation, characterization and salt-resistance of a coal based super absorbent composite显示文摘Potassium humate was extracted from brown coal. A novel super absorbent composite, poly (acrylic acid-co-acryla-mide)/potassium humate (PAA-AM/KHA), was prepared by graft polymerization of acrylic acid, acrylamide and coal based potas-sium humate using N, N’-methylenebisacrylamide as a crosslinker and potassium peroxydisulfate as an initiator. The effects of reaction temperature, degree of neutralization of the poly (acrylic acid) and the amounts of crosslinker, initiator and potassium hu-mate were investigated. Salt resistance tests were also carried out. The composite prepared under optimal conditions had a potas-sium humate content of 10% and exhibited a water absorption of 770 g/g in distilled water, and 349, 286 and 41 g/g in 0.5 mol/L KCl, MgCl2 and AlCl3 solutions respectively. The results indicate that the salt resistance of PAA-AM/KHA was superior to that of poly (acrylic acid-co-acrylamide) because of the collaborative effect of functional groups of the coal based potassium humate. The PAA-AM/KHA micro powder was characterized by IR spectroscopy and the micrographic surface was characterized by scanning electron microscopy. Introduction of potassium humate into the poly (acrylic acid-co-acrylamide) structure creates a composite more suitable for use as a water-managing material in the renewal of arid and desert environments. 4A New Process Industry Fault Diagnosis Algorithm Based on Ensemble Improved Binary-Tree SVM显示文摘Support vector machine(SVM) is an effective tool in deal with small sample, nonlinear and high dimension classification problems. In this paper, an improved pre-treatment binary-tree SVM is proposed to solve fault diagnosis. Furthermore an ensemble method is presented to establish ensemble SVM. Here the improved SVM is used as weak learning machine. The new ensemble SVM can improve the performance of single binary-tree SVM.At the end, the new algorithm is applied to fault diagnosis of blast furnace faults and the Tennessee Eastman process(TEP). 7Comprehensively-modified polymer electrolyte membranes with multifunctional PMIA for highly-stable all-solid-state lithium-ion batteries显示文摘Polyethylene oxide(PEO)-based electrolytes have obvious merits such as strong ability to dissolve salts(e.g.,LiTFSI)and high flexibility,but their applications in solid-state batteries is hindered by the low ion conductance and poor mechanical and thermal properties.Herein,poly(m-phenylene isophthalamide)(PMIA)is employed as a multifunctional additive to improve the overall properties of the PEO-based electrolytes.The hydrogen-bond interactions between PMIA and PEO/TFSI-can effectively prevent the PEO crystallization and meanwhile facilitate the LiTFSI dissociation,and thus greatly improve the ionic conductivity(two times that of the pristine electrolyte at room temperature).With the incorporation of the high-strength PMIA with tough amide-benzene backbones,the PMIA/PEO-LiTFSI composite polymer electrolyte(CPE)membranes also show much higher mechanical strength(2.96 MPa),thermostability(4190℃)and interfacial stability against Li dendrites(468 h at 0.10 mA cm-2)than the pristine electrolyte(0.32 MPa,364℃and short circuit after 246 h).Furthermore,the CPE-based LiFePO4/Li cells exhibit superior cycling stability(137 mAh g^-1 with 93%retention after 100 cycles at 0.5 C)and rate performance(123 mAh g^-1 at 1.0 C).This work provides a novel and effective CPE structure design strategy to achieve comprehensively-upgraded electrolytes for promising solid-state battery applications.Lehao Liu Jinshan Mo Jingru Li Jinxin Liu Hejin Yan Jing Lyu Bing Jiang Lihua Chu Meicheng Li 2020Journal of Energy Chemistry2020,29,9:3
8Impact of a Senior High School Tuition Relief Program on Poor Junior High School Students in Rural China显示文摘A significant gap remains between rural and urban students in the rate of admission to senior high school.One reason for this gap might be the high levels of tuition and fees for senior high school.By reducing students' expectations of attending high school,high levels of tuition and fees could be reducing student academic performance in junior high schools.In this paper we evaluate the impacts of a senior high tuition relief program on the test scores of poor rural seventh grade students in China.We surveyed three counties in Shaanxi Province and exploited the fact that,while the counties are adjacent to one another and share similar characteristics,only one of the three implemented a tuition relief program.Using several alternative estimation strategies,including difference-in-differences,propensity score matching and difference-in-differences matching,we find that the tuition program has a statistically significant and positive impact on the mathematics scores of seventh grade students.More importantly,this program is shown to have a statistically significant and positive effect on the poorest students in the treatment group compared to their wealthier peers.Xinxin Chen Yaojiang Shi Di Mo James Chu Prashant Loyalka Scott Rozelle 2013China & World Economy2013,21,3:3

10Multi-class Classification Methods of Enhanced LS-TWSVM for Strip Steel Surface Defects显示文摘Considering strip steel surface defect samples,a multi-class classification method was proposed based on enhanced least squares twin support vector machines(ELS-TWSVMs)and binary tree.Firstly,pruning region samples center method with adjustable pruning scale was used to prune data samples.This method could reduce classifier′s training time and testing time.Secondly,ELS-TWSVM was proposed to classify the data samples.By introducing error variable contribution parameter and weight parameter,ELS-TWSVM could restrain the impact of noise samples and have better classification accuracy.Finally,multi-class classification algorithms of ELS-TWSVM were proposed by combining ELS-TWSVM and complete binary tree.Some experiments were made on two-dimensional datasets and strip steel surface defect datasets.The experiments showed that the multi-class classification methods of ELS-TWSVM had higher classification speed and accuracy for the datasets with large-scale,unbalanced and noise samples.Mao-xiang CHU An-na WANG Rong-fen GONG Mo SHA 2014Journal of Iron and Steel Research(International)2014,21,2:3
11Comparison of pyrolysis characteristics of two Chinese oil shales based onthe migration and conversion of organic carbon显示文摘In this study,the Huadian oil shale(HD-R)and Balikun oil shale(BLK-R)were pyrolyzed in a fixed-bed pyrolyzer at 360–530℃.Based on the migration and conversion of organic carbon,their pyrolysis characteristics were investigated and compared.The aliphaticity of Huadian kerogen(HD-K)and Balikun kerogen(BLK-K)are 80.53%and 52.83%,respectively.The HD-K contains more C=O,which will render the depolymerization and decomposition of kerogen to occur at low temperatures to produce volatile matters.Thus,the cumulative conversion of the Huadian shale oil is greater than the Balikun shale oil at 390–435℃.The aliphatic carbons of the BLK-K are mainly present as short methylene chains attached to aromatic rings.They will leave the kerogen matrix with the breakage of relatively weaker CeC bonds at β-sites from aromatic rings at medium temperatures.By contrast,aliphatic carbons of the HD-K are dominated by long aliphatic chains.High temperature is necessary to break other stronger CeC to form shale oil and gaseous species,which appears to make the oil accumulation conversion of BLK-R exceed that of HD-R at 450–510℃.Zhi-bing Chang Mo Chu Chao Zhang Shu-xia Bai Sheng-tao Wang Bao-man Liu 2018Carbon Resources Conversion2018,1,3:3
12Synthesis of Na-X zeolite from Longkou oil shale ash by alkaline fusion hydrothermal method显示文摘Na-X zeolites were synthesized by Longkou oil shale ash with the alkaline fusion hydrothermal method.The effects of fusion temperature,ash to NaOH ratio,solid-liquid ratio,crystallization time and crystallization temperature on the crystallinity of zeolites were investigated.The synthetic products were characterized by Xray diffraction(XRD),scanning electron microscopy(SEM),Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR),29Si nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy(29Si NMR)and N2 adsorption-desorption.The results showed that the conditions to synthesize Na-X zeolite were:Longkou oil shale ash to sodium hydroxide ratio 1:1.2 g・g^(-1),fusion temperature 600℃,solid-liquid ratio 1:4 g・mL^(-1),crystallization time 24 h and crystallization temperature 80℃.The zeolite with high crystallinity(91.32%)was synthesized:the product exhibiting octahedral particles observed by SEM,and the calculated Si/Al ratio in Na-X zeolite being 1.23 from^(29)Si MAS NMR spectra,which was consistent with the observation from XRD.Shu-xia Bai Ling-mei Zhou Zhi-bing Chang Chao Zhang Mo Chu 2018Carbon Resources Conversion2018,1,3:3

14Effect of occurrence mode of heavy metal elements in a low rank coal on volatility during pyrolysis显示文摘The harmful trace elements will be released during coal utilization, which can cause environment pollution and further endangering human health, especially for heavy metal elements. Compared to combustion, the release of heavy metal elements during coal pyrolysis process, as a critical initial reaction stage of combustion, has not received sufficient attention. In the present paper, a low rank coal, from Xinjiang province in China, was pyrolyzed in a fixed bed reactor from room temperature, at atmospheric pressure, with the heating rate of 10 °C/min, and the final pyrolysis temperature was from 400 to 800℃ with the interval of 100℃. The volatility of heavy metal elements (including As, Hg, Cd and Pb) during pyrolysis process was investigated. The results showed the volatility of all heavy metal elements increased obviously with increasing temperature, and followed the sequence as Hg > Cd > As > Pb, which was mainly caused by their thermodynamic property and occurrence modes in coal. The occurrence modes of heavy metals were studied by sink-andfloat test and sequential chemical extraction procedure, and it can be found that the heavy metal elements were mainly in the organic and residual states (clay minerals) in the raw coal. 16Discovery of novel double pyrazole Schiff base derivatives as anti-tobacco mosaic virus(TMV) agents显示文摘Many pyrazole derivatives were reported to exhibit highly activity towards tobacco mosaic virus(TMV).In this work,an optimized pyrazole Schiff base scaffold was designed and introduced to derive novel potential TMV inhibitors.Thirty-six compounds were synthesized,characterized by elemental analysis,mass spectra and nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR) spectroscopy and evaluated by biological experiments.The bioassay results showed that some of the synthesized compounds exhibited excellent anti-TMV activities.Especially,5-chloro-3-methyl-1H-pyrazole contained compound 4j showed ningnanmycin comparable inhibitory activity and can be considered as potential anti-TMV candidate agent.With molecular docking,compound 4j insert into nucleotide sequence(GAAGUU) of OriRNA stably which revealed nucleotide could be a target of these compounds.Xian-Hai Lv Zi-Li Ren Dong-Dong Li Ban-Feng Ruan Qing-Shan Li Ming-Jie Chu Cheng-Ying Ai Dao-Hong Liu Kai Mo Hai-Qun Cao 2017Chinese Chemical Letters2017,28,2:2
