| 1 | Immunohistochemical analysis of p53,cyclinD1,RB1,c-fos and N-ras gene expression in hepatocellular carcinoma in Iran显示文摘AIM: To study the effect of some genes especially those involved in cell cycle regulation on hepatocellular carcinoma. METHODS: Paraffin-embedded tissue samples of 25 patients (18 males and 7 females) with hepatocellular carcinoma were collected from 22 pathology centers in Tehran during 2000-2001, and stained using immunohistochemistry method (avidin-biotin-peroxidase) for detection of p53, cyclinD1, RB1, c-fos and N-ras proteins. RESULTS: Six (24%), 5 (20%), 12 (48%) and 2 samples (8%) were positive for p53, cyclinD1, C-fos and N-ras expression, respectively. Twenty-two (88%) samples had alterations in the G1 cell-cycle checkpoint protein expression (RB1 or cyclinD1). P53 positive samples showed a higher (9 times) risk of being positive for RB1 protein than p53 negative samples. Loss of expression of RB1 in association with p53 over-expression was observed in 4 (66.7%) of 6 samples. Loss of expression of RB1 was seen in all cyclinD1 positive, 20 (90.9%) N-ras negative, and 11 (50%) C-fos positive samples, respectively. CyclinD1 positive samples showed a higher (2.85 and 4.75 times) risk of being positive for c-fos and N-ras expression than cyclinD1 negative samples. CONCLUSION: The expression of p53, RB1 and c-fos genes appears to have a key role in the pathogenesis of hepatocellular carcinoma in Iran. | 4 | Additive manufacturing of high entropy alloys:A practical review显示文摘The novel idea of alloying,which is based on the utilization of multiple principal elements in high concentrations,has created a novel class of promising materials called high entropy alloys(HEAs).So far,several HEAs with outstanding properties beyond those of conventional alloys have been discovered,and new superior high-entropy alloys are still expected to be developed in the future.However,the fabrication process of HEAs through conventional manufacturing techniques suffers from significant limitations due to the intrinsic requirements of HEAs.Additive manufacturing(AM),on the other hand,has provided new opportunities for fabricating geometrically complex HEAs with the possibility of in situ tailoring of their microstructure features.Considering the growing interest in AM of HEAs during most recent years,this review article aims at providing the state of the art in AM of HEAs.It describes the feedstock requirements for laser based AM techniques.Thereafter,a comprehensive picture of the current state of nearly all HEAs processed by laser metal deposition(LMD),selective laser melting(SLM)and selective electron beam melting(SEBM)is presented.Special attention is paid to the features of AM derived microstructures along with their outstanding properties and underlying mechanisms for various material processing combinations.The AM of interstitial solute hardening HEAs,HEA matrix composites as well as non-beam based AM of HEAs will also be addressed.The post-AM treatments and the strategies to fabricate defect-free HEAs are summarized.Finally,a conclusion of current state and future prospects of additive manufacturing of HEAs will be presented. | Ahmad Ostovari Moghaddam Nataliya A.Shaburova Marina N.Samodurova Amin Abdollahzadeh Evgeny A.Trofimov | 2021 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,18: | 11 |
| 5 | Study of effective parameters for enhancement of methane gas production from natural gas hydrate reservoirs显示文摘Natural gas hydrate resources have become the major source of energy in the second half of 21st century.Gas production and fluid behavior in natural gas hydrate reservoirs are different from conventional ones.There are three major methods for methane decomposition such as depressurization,thermal stimulation and inhibitor injection.However,CO2 substitution can also be introduced as an alternative method to inject in sediments containing gas hydrate.All these methods tend to imbalance equilibrium condition via temperature and pressure variation in order to fulfill hydrate decomposition process.This study aims to simulate depressurization method for gas production from a hydrate gas bearing layer.Hence,a sensitivity analysis of reservoir parameters includes porosity,permeability,hydrate saturation,hydrate thickness layer;pressure and temperature of single well hydrate model were investigated to determine how these parameters impact on gas production.Results show that depressurization is an efficient method for gas production from hydrate bearing sediments.Through sensitivity analysis,it has been concluded that if properties of a hydrate layer such as porosity and permeability become greater,methane production will be increased significantly.Moreover,results investigate that the rate of hydrate dissociate is strongly dependent on pressure reduction,and it has a reverse relationship with bottomhole pressure and reservoir temperature. | Hamid Aghajari Moien Habibi Moghaddam Mehdi Zallaghi | 2019 | Green Energy & Environment2019,4,4: | 5 |

| 7 | Methane hydrate stability in the presence of water-soluble hydroxyalkyl cellulose显示文摘The effect of low-dosage water-soluble hydroxyethyl cellulose (approximate MW~90,000 and 250,000) as a member of hydroxyalkyl cellulosic polymer group on methane hydrate stability was investigated by monitoring hydrate dissociation at pressures greater than atmospheric pressure in a closed vessel. In particular, the influence of molecular weight and mass concentration of hydroxyethyl cellulose (HEC) was studied with respect to hydrate formation and dissociation. Methane hydrate formation was performed at 2℃ and at a pressure greater than 100 bar. Afterwards, hydrate dissociation was initiated by step heating from -10℃ at a mild pressure of 13 bar to 3℃, 0℃ and 2℃. With respect to the results obtained for methane hydrate formation/dissociation and the amount of gas uptake, we concluded that HEC 90,000 at 5000 ppm is suitable for long-term gas storage and transportation under a mild pressure of 13 bar and at temperatures below the freezing point. | M. | 11 | Genetic and Genotype × Environment Interaction Effects for Appearance Quality of Rice显示文摘This study was conducted to generate genetic information in rice varieties based on a complete diallel crosses over two years. The results indicated that genotype effect was significant for all traits. Genotype × environment interaction effects were significant only for cooked grain length (CGL) and cooked grain shape (CGSH). General combining ability (GCA) and specific combining ability (SCA) effects were significant for entire traits, which indicated the important roles of both additive and non-additive gene actions. GCA × environment interaction effects were significant for CGL, CGSH and grain elongation index (GEI). In the controlling of the inheritance of milled grain shape (GSH), milled grain width (MGW), GEI, milled grain length (MGL), CGSH and cooked grain width (CGW), the additive gene effects were more important than non-additive one. The average degree of dominance was within the range of partial dominance for all of the traits. The narrow-sense heritability was ranged from 0.65 (GSH) to 0.36 (CGL). GCA effects were significant for all of the parents in milled grain length and it was significant for some of the parents in other traits. The crosses of Deilmani × IRFAON-215 exhibited significant SCA for GEI. The positive mean of heterosis was observed for CGW. The highest maximum values of heterosis were revealed in GEI, flowed by GSH, MGW and CGW. An analytical and engineering model for pyrolysis process of a single biomass particle has been presented. Using a two-stage semi global kinetic model which includes both primary and secondary reactions, the effects of parameters like shape and size of particle as well as porosity on the particle temperature profile and product yields have been investigated. Comparison of the obtained results with experimental data shows that our results are in a reasonable agreement with previous researchers' works. Therefore, cadmium and nickel are usually cemented out by addition of zinc dust and remained nickel and cobalt cemented out at second stage with zinc powder and arsenic trioxide. In this research, a new approach is described for determination of effective parameters and optimization of zinc electrolyte hot purification process using statistical design of experiments. The Taguchi method based on orthogonal array design(OAD) has been used to arrange the experimental runs. The experimental conditions involved in the work are as follows: the temperature range of 70-90 ℃ for reaction temperature(T), 30-90 min for reaction time(t), 2-4 g/L for zinc powder mass concentration(M), one to five series for zinc dust particle size distributions(S1-S5), and 0.1-0.5 g/L(C) for arsenic trioxide mass concentration. | 16 | Gamma-ray shielding study of light to heavyweight concretes using MCNP-4C code显示文摘In this work, linear and mass attenuation coefficients, half and tenth-value layers, effective atomic number and electron density of different types of concretes were determined at 316.51, 468.07, 511, 662, 1173 and 1332 keV using MCNP-4C code and Win XCom programs. The MCNP-4C and Win XCom results agreed well with each other, with differences of \±1.9%. The results agreed with available experimental data, too, with differences of \±6%.The MCNP-4C results showed better agreement with the experimental data than the Win XCom results. | 19 | Effect of Sinter Hardening on Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of Astaloy 85Mo显示文摘Effect of sinter hardening on the microstructure, density, hardness and tensile properties of Astaloy 85Mo+0.7% graphite was investigated. For this purpose, Astaloy 85Mo, a pre-alloyed powder, was mixed with 0.7% UF4 graphite and then pressed in single action die and sintered at 1 120 ℃ for 30 min in N2-10%H2 atmosphere. Then samples were cooled from 0.5 to 3 ℃/s sintering temperature in accordance with different cooling rates. The difference in microstructure, hardness, density and tensile properties of the samples associated with different cooling rates from sintering temperature has been investigated.
